Contacted Pat for the first time regarding a humidity crack on the top of my Taylor 110CE. He was very responsive and provided the advice I needed as a novice guitar player. The repair turned out great and he performed a setup that improved the playability of the guitar significantly. I would recommend Pat without hesitation and he is a pleasure to work with.
Amazing refret of a Collings MT2 (fully bound A-style mandolin). Perfect nut, invisible saddle repair, plus a top crack literally disappeared, the wood stronger than before. Effortless playing all the way to the 24th fret and all points in between. The tone, with the saddle and top repaired, has a new and whole maturity to it. The set-up is so good Im preferring this Collings to my better mandolin. The cost was about twice the price of the best local luthiers and WORTH EVERY DOLLAR. - woodman / philadelphia
Pat DiBurro runs the the finest guitar repair shop around, and definitely one of the very best in the country. He has cared for my old D-28 and Froggy Bottom for years.Pat’s vast experience, knowledge and keen observation skills give him an almost intuitive sense of what repairs or tweaks an instrument needs. His workmanship is first rate, stellar. Moreover, Pat is a really nice guy, easy to deal with and, for the level of work he does, fairly priced. His schedule is busy, but it’s well worth the wait. Customers from around the country and overseas send him their guitars. This could mean nothing, but to me speaks volumes.
Several years ago now I had Pat fix my Taylor 514ce. I needed several frets replaced and my action adjusted. While had my guitar, he also repaired a hairline crack that had developed on the top. I found his work to be super high quality and was unable to see any signs of the repairs. His pricing was reasonable, and turn around time was better than expected! Highly recommend Di Burro Guitars to anyone needing to protect their investment and restore an instrument.
Great service and reasonable prices. Pat knew just what my guitar needed. What a difference in how it plays. Thanks Pat!
Pat knows his stuff.
Based on his warranty repair on my D-45, Im happy to echo the many who say DiBurro does amazing work.
I first met Pat many, many years, ago when he was the head technition at Guitar Center in Danvers, MA. Simply put, he is the most talented luthier/guitar repair technition I have ever known. Not only are his diagnostic skills amazing insightful and on point, but the physical repair skills that Pat has to back his disgnosis, will put your mind at ease as he brings your instrument back to a healthier state of being.Sincerely,Brian W.
