I was here in Ohio for a work trip. Only two weeks. I was having issues starting and my battery died (and would not jump) 2 days before I was supposed to drive all the way back to South Carolina. I got my car towed there and they were kinda booked but when I explained my situation they hooked me up and got the issue identified and my battery replaced by that afternoon. They were very helpful and communicated well with me throughout. The owner is very nice, he answered all my questions and was polite to speak to. Great local service, and I had tried a few other places around that were either unhelpful or were just booked up.

I had water leaks occurring in the interior of my car due to a clogged drain in the sunroof. At the time, I had an important trip coming up but was scared to take my car as I did not know what was causing the issue. John Pierce Auto was not only able to get my car quickly into their shop, but they were also able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. I cant be more appreciative on how accommodating they were with fitting my car into their schedule and on such short notice. I would definitely recommend them.

This was the third garage that my mom stopped at for something very simple, a brake light and the rear wiper. This garage went out of their way to not only assist but take care of the issues immediately because they were traveling and wanted them to be safe and make it to their destination.. Long time customer (19+ years). Ive taken various cars to John Pierce Auto Care through the years and always have felt taken care of. Years ago during a family tragedy, I had to leave my car there over the holidays for a week or so. They made sure the car was kept safe and ready for me when I got back to town. Even when I was down on my luck and needed to get a auto repair credit card, they made sure I KNEW to pay off before the interest rate kicked in. More recently, Steve helped me with an issue with a car dealership and gave me sound advice. I appreciate that they tell you what HAS to be fixed and what can WAIT or what may be too expensive to fix based on the cars history. THEY DO WHAT IS RIGHT and I appreciate that

Went in to get power steering fluid and engine coolant topped off. Were nice enough and did it immediately. They suggested an oil change at the same time for $40 (overpriced in my opinion). I went for it. As soon as I drove off the lot, I could tell there was some issue...maybe the wrong oil was added? The next day, my car is shaking while idle, so I decided to park and wait a bit. Checked the oil dipstick. THERE WAS NO OIL IN THE TANK! Called to let them know and they had the audacity to question my intelligence and tell me it was full. I know what a blank oil dipstick looks like when theres no oil. They came to check it out and then again had the audacity to call me and tell me that they were going to bill me for that service, when it was a mistake on their own part. I do not recommend going here. Quality control is not sound. If I didnt catch it, who knows how much $$ it would have cost me for a ruined engine.

This crew is amazing. I told them my main concern with my jeep not knowing if it would actually act up for them, but the guys did an awesome job at pinpointing what they thought the problem was. They ran some tests on it and it was exactly what they thought. They fixed my jeep so fast and it runs and starts like its brand new again. It definitely feels like a whole new vehicle. And they gave me a great price. I highly recommend this shop to anyone, they will fix you up no problem. I will be bringing my vehicle back here anytime I have a problem. Thank you John Pierce Auto.

Hands down the best mechanics Ive ever went to. They were the only shop that called me back when I called around for quotes. Their prices were also better than the average prices I found online. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable.

Ive been using them for more years than I can remember. Obviously pleased with their service or I wouldnt have returned. 99 percent of the time the job was completed satisfactorily the first time. The other 1 percent they made right.

Can’t thank these guys enough. My car was leaking coolant and I knew it was probably the water pump. Not only did they confirm the issue, but they went out of their way to call the dealership to check on a provision issued by GM based on my specific issue. They delivered the vehicle to the dealer and the work was done at no cost to me. What a great deal of integrity to forego potential $ to save me money. I will go nowhere else but here for any future repairs/service. The staff was so friendly, and they even took the time to explain the issues and the provision that covered the repair. Needed a quick fix for my car, and for someone whos not familiar with the businesses in the area I was very pleased! Steve checked my car for a noise I was hearing, and found a separate and way more serious issue. Got in the very next week and had it fixed in a few hours. Honestly the best experience Ive had at any auto repair shop, fair pricing and John was very reasonable and friendly. I went in for an alignment and oil change, but instead of being passively compliant or trying to hide the problem, he showed me certain things that i didnt know were wrong like my faulty drain plug. I have never been treated in such a manner as I was Treated at John Pierce Auto. They checked out my car, then called with a estimate for repairs. I told him give me a little bit to see if I could fit it into my budget and he replied Well you need to make it quick so we can either fix it or you better come pay your bill and get it towed out of here. and hung up. Needless to say I just had my friend take me down there and I paid the check out, they were very short and rude towards me but I just had it towed down the street and ended up saving about half of what they were trying to get out of me!! I will never go to John pierce again and my friends that told me to take my car there will never go again... BEWARE!!!!

Not recommended. I live locally. This is a shop that will take you for everything they can (recommend replacement of an engine, but the next shop repaired the (easy-fix) problem for $200!! Lots of similar stories around the neighborhood.

Took my car that I was thinking of buying here to get a full vehicle inspection. They did a detailed inspection of my truck and only for 90 bucks. They noted the few things that were wrong and were very honest. Very friendly too. I would come back anytime.

I originally came here because I read all of the great reviews. I did not regret it. These guys are so kind and have the best customer service, they really worked with me to get around my busy schedule. I got a year warranty with them for having certain work done on my car (no extra charge) and they definitely fulfilled it for free when my car needed a little more work. I loved that they explained to me in exact detail what was wrong with my car, how they fixed it, and didnt try to sell me on anything else (which suprised me because I KNOW my car needs a lot more work done on it) so I know they werent just looking for more money. Most of the other auto shops Ive been to the workers are so serious, grumpy or trying to get me to buy more, yet the workers I saw here were smiling, joking or laughing at eachother. It feels like a really homey place and Im glad I read the reviews or I probably never would discovered this place.

All I can say is that after about 1.5 years of my car not starting from the garage to my local Wal-Mart, to include at least five different dealerships and auto service shops, it were the AMAZING technical support at John Pierce who saved the my car and extended its life! My 2008 Mercury Mariner gave everyone a run for their money, to include my money, but a couple of dear friends recommended I give John Pierce a shot at trouble shooting my car issue and low and behold....daggone it, they did!!! A silly little diode and a relay? Yes, of course it took 6 hrs to find, but they were the ONLY auto care service to nail down the problem! John Pierce is where YOU wanna bring your cars from now on!
