Went here to get some meat for my dogs. They had a great selection chicken feet was cheap and I got plenty. Also drumsticks cheap and I asked for a special bone for my pup and the guy searched his whole meat box and found the perfect doggie bone. I reccomend this place.

We decided to give this place a chance for our meat shopping needs. We normally go to La Charrita. However, the Desmillo has not been good these past weeks.After this visit we may go back.First the good:• availability of pastries, especially white con has on a Sunday• availability of meats• variety of Mexico based itemsThe bad:• the parking is God awful, patrons will pass your vehicle when you stop to let people cross or back-up from their parking• The meat Department had a long line. Yet their were patrons cutting past the line. Also, when they are helping people they do not move them forward, so patrons stay at the exact same spot when being help; this led to more cutting. So I went ahead, one of the employees told me to get in line, I told him that everyone has been helped and you had ignored us in the back.• it is very crowded with little to no social distancing, not that other Mexican meat markets are different

My wife and I love coming here their selection is excellent and they have a restaurant up front that makes great tortas and delicious birria. We also get our bolillos here. Very convenient and right down the street for us. Prices arent terrible eithet.

The meat department needs an over haul. I saw 3 guys not wearing any gloves when cutting and handling the meat. In this day an age with COVID easily being spread you would figure that they would at least make an attempt to ensuring food safety. There was only one worker behind the counter wearing gloves. This is the 2nd time me and my wife see this and we let the 1st one go. Not this time, we will never buy meat from this place ever.Also, they have a freezer section with products that have severe freezer burn. It looks like the whole unit went bad for a while and they kept the same product and just refreezed the items.The people are nice which is why I gave it a 2 star. However, the health department will need to come in check if they are following food safety guidelines.Its probably an easy fix for the owner of this store. I think the workers are just going through the motions right now which is causing them to totally lose sight of food safety.Be careful consuming food from here.

Im always looking for meat that other stores dont carry. So when I come here is so satisfying.

This place changed owners last year, and Im so glad they did. This Store has improved a lot, shelves are fully stocked, they now sell hot food and what Ive tasted is really good. Every time I go I see the owner or owners family(I believe) giving attention to detail. Yes prices are a bit high, but so they are every where you go.

Very good service and a good variety of Hispanic and Latin foods.Prices are also great!Only down thing is that few machines that take the plastic cards (credit / ATM) are very slow.

The only grocery store open on Christmas Day. Thank goodness. Just needs to be a little fresher like Safeway, Raleys and or Food Maxx when you walk in. Would have rated 5 Stars if that was better.

Tried the restaurant, food use to be on point but it seems its gone down a bit. My alpastor tasted more like stewed pork than spicy pork. The fried pork tacos where pretty blend too. I also tried the tamales with chicken and found them to have very little meat however they tasted like they should unlike the tacos i had.

Nice enough for a specialty supermarket. Great selection of meat, dairy and staples for your pantry. Prices are noticeably higher than MiPueblo, and the produce is not as fresh. Other than that, its good for when you cant get to better and need specialty foods.

Feels like I am in Mexíco every time I step foot into this place, has great dried chilitos and tortilla chips here. If you can navigate the homeless in the parking lot its well worth the trip!
