I brought my Honda in last year, the check engine light was on, and I was told I would need to replace the catalytic converter, because of my make and model it would be upwards of $2000. I thought it was odd because my car wasnt actually running badly.- I just wouldnt pass smog with that light on.I decided to get a second opinion. Took my car to my friends dad thats a hobby mechanic. He ran diagnostic and noticed air was getting into my fuel system. Then he noticed I had an off-brand gas cap from Napa auto parts. I went to the honda dealership and got an official honda gas cap for my car and... The light went away.So I saved myself a few THOUSAND DOLLARS by not trusting this guy.

The Moorheads (Tom & Son, Jeff) are absolute experts in EVERYTHING smog and automobile related. These guys should crack a YouTube channel and share their genius with the rest of us.

Everyone 1 star is people who have never done business here and are trying to bully people giving away a FREE smog check to those affected by the pandemic. Get your advice from someone who’s actually done business here.

The first time I went to this business, about a year ago, they did excellent work.About a month after COVID started, I took my car there to get worked on. The did a diagnostic, so I thought. Quoted me $1600 to do repairs, which I paid. Car was still running raggedy. They said they had to complete the diagnostic. What? I thought the diagnostic was completed. After completing diagnostic, they told me my transmission was bad. But that was after I paid the $1600. Owner acted like it wasnt his problem; too bad, so sad. Thank God that I was able to drive my car back home by shifting my gears manually. I bought a new car. My old car is parked in my backyard needing a new transmission. What a waste of $1600. Ill never go there again.

Beware of taking your car to this place! They take forever to finish and they drastically change the price they quote! My sister was quoted $1000 and then after the work was already started they told us it was gonna be $4000. They make a 3 day job last 2 weeks! They are nothing but crooks!

Ive never been to Moorhead Automotive for work on my car but I gave them 5 stars for their amazing generosity and kindness in giving a car to the elderly man that got stabbed over at Burger King on North Texas not to long ago. That was such an awesome gesture on your part that after I read the article about your wonderful act I felt I had to pay it forward today when I dropped off some pizzas at your establishment for you and your employees to enjoy ! Even though Ive never been to your shop for any car repairs or service, Moorhead is now one of my favorite businesses in Solano County because of your incredible kindness and compassion ! Keep up the good work.

Went in this morning to get a quote for differential rebuild on my jeep..Quote person, was at the dentist..Associate took down all my info and what needed to be done, said he would call me asap...didnt happen. After being lectured about my repair like I didnt know what I was talking about...Five jeeps, decades of building cars and jeeps, diffs are my weakness, not happy at all. Never even got an idea as to cost or a call back...

Pay alot of money for simple repairs they returned it and didnt fix what they brome they promise alot but they are very unprofessional and beware they will try to rip you off if you are not a mechanic one of the worst shops i have been to
