This place is Terrible. I spent 30 minutes in line to be told prescription was not ready for 2 hours. Got a message that it was ready and spent forever in line again to be told 20 more minutes. This place Sucks. Definitely moving to another pharmacy

I visited this pharmacy today right after my visit to the ER. It was the worst experience ever. The floor by the pick-up counter was filty. I was told that they needed an hour to prepare two small bottles of medicine. When I came back after an hour, I was told to wait 45 more minutes because my prescription was not ready. I realized how slow the staff was while I waited in pain. I hope I dont have to visit this pharmacy again!

Worst. Pharmacy. Ever. Been here 30 years and they just can’t handle the growth of Fairhope. Went to MD at 1 pm. Drove by there at 5:15 to pick up. 2 lines out to street in drive through. I went inside and the line was waay too long. I left and went returned at 7:30 pm. The drive through was closed and the line in side was still long but better compared to 5:15 pm. I walked out without one of the most critical RX I needed. I let some poor woman in pain from procedure who needed pain med. ahead of me. she was told tomorrow it would be ready. It’s disheartening. Why can’t they do like Publix and add due to growth?

I have used this pharmacy for 5 years. They have always been patient with us (fam of five) and have been easy to use. Last month, I had a negative experience with a few different staff members who didn’t seem to have enough experience with how to file insurance properly (as I called and talked to three different people the same day). When I called today, I dealt with a really helpful pharmacist named Ashley (sp?). If you have insurance related questions, she is your girl. She was so helpful and patient and she fixed our problem efficiently. The crew at this pharmacy works hard, and while I don’t know if they are under-staffed, I know that one frustrating experience isn’t enough to keep us from coming back.

Worst drive through experience ever. This branch stinks. The associate was extremely rude. When I called after leaving the shift supervisor was equally sarcastic and rude. They have lost my business. I will be posting the video of the pharmacy tech on all social media outlets. This store seriously requires an overhaul.

The pharmacy is perpetually under staffed and overwhelmed. Don’t even think about using the drive through unless you have a minimum of 30 minutes to waste (even if the line looks short. I had 3 people in front of me yesterday and still waited 35 minutes.) Some of the pharmacy staff is nice and genuinely doing their best, but I’ve also encountered some who are either completely clueless or very rude (like leave you on hold for 10 minutes then loudly cut you off mid-sentence and talk over you when they finally get to you rude). I feel bad for the ones who are actually trying to be nice and professional because there’s only so much they can do when they’re surrounded by chaos. Get it together management. Seriously.

The store was clean, stocked, staff was great as always, I get checked out relatively fast every time I go. I have no idea why this place has such bad reviews. I go here fairly often, as its very convenient, and Ive never had issues!

I am 73 and just relocated to Fairhope from WA. My HMO adjusted my plan to Walgreens. I have visited the pharmacy several times to have my information added to their system but the lines were so long I couldnt wait as I recently had back surgery. Ive tried to call but am put on hold and no one ever answers. I am out of one of my medications now and dont know what to do.

Not very good advice from pharmacist. Went to «Consultation » counter to ask about an ear ache. Pharmacist said you would have to go to a doctor and they had nothing for it. Just five yards from her on the shelves were some over-the-counter drops we bought that healed my earache.

Always a wait! Too long. Pharmacy staff are like robots. Never thank you for shopping at Walgreens or even crack a smile. But yesterday was a serious violations. You require customers to wear masks inside the store. You have a sign posted outside reqiuring this. Several customers and including a cashier were not wearing their masks properly, not vovering their noses. I asked the male customer kindly to please wear his mask properly. He told me to mind my own business and that I got up on the wrong side of the bed! He was rude and self entitled. The cashier said nothing and wasnt wearing hers properly either. There were others as well. The cashier or someone should have asked them to either wear it properly or leave the store. This not happen. This is unacceptable during a pandemic. A pharmacy not enforcing their own rules. I believe much of this is politically motivated. Management and or any employee should report customers that do not wear masks covering the mouth AND nose should alert management immediately and tell them to wear it properly or leave the store. Personnel who do not wear masks properly should be fired or severely dealt with. Did any of these employees receive any training about the severity if COVID-19? Do they even care about not endangering their customers? Why should I ever enter that store again? All of this is unacceptable and not following CDC guidelines. This store is located in Fairhope, Alabama. I will report this to local health department authorities. I myself have been trained in contact tracing, epidemiology in public health, and spent my career in public and environmental health.

Is Fairhope choking on its growth or is this the worst managed Walgreens in the entire chain? Just waited ONE HOUR to pick up a refill that I dropped off last week. Ive been in the store 14 TIMES since then trying to pick it up in a reasonable amount of time and without rubbing shoulders with other people who may be sick. I couldnt get it done, so I caved tonight and waited and WAITED. I recently moved to Fairhope from Atlanta. I never waited like this at my neighborhood Walgreens there. The express lane at the Fairhope store is a joke. Ill check out CVS next time. Goodbye Walgreens!

Katie in the beauty department is so kind and helpful. She always helps me find the ride shade/color of makeup. She also always goes above and beyond when I need help. She is the reason I continue to shop there, because its nice to know I will get the help I need and be treated kindly while getting it!

Great pharmacy. The store has a good selection and good prices. You just have to be prepared to drop your prescriptions off or have them called in ahead of time because they stay very busy. Conveniently, they have a lot of technology to help with a Walgreens App available in the App Store, etc messaging notifications or email for when your medication is ready, has been delayed, or is ready to be refilled.

Ive always loved going in to Walgreens, especially since its so much nicer in atmosphere and cleanliness then CVS. However, the newest addition to the Walgreens team has me never wanting to go back. Their new cashier, Adele, is a very rude women that made me feel belittled.Im not sorry that I am an older women and sometimes take a moment longer to do things than I used too but thats no reason to treat me like a second class citizen.I asked her for help finding something and she said it fast while not looking me, so I asked her to repeat it. She rolled her eyes and told me in exasperation where it was.I refuse to go back to Walgreens and shop within the store if I see her working. Please, to whomever is in charge, tell her that she needs to remember to watch her customer service.

Ive always had a very positive experience shopping at the Fairhope Ave. Walgreens. The employees are always very nice and helpful, but my recent experience prompted me to take the time to write this review. I was looking for bar soap that contains zinc.Katie, the young lady who assisted me went way above and beyond her duty to help me. While I was in the store, she looked in the store and online in an attempt to find the soap. When she found no immediate options, she asked that I call her in a few days so she could do some research. She found that zinc soap manufacturers are having production issues resulting in long backorder times, but that zinc supplements and sunscreen products were not impacted. She is now working with her manager to identify any special ordering options. I greatly appreciate Katies kindness and genuine desire to help.

I require certain med for arthritis. Ran out, so called around to find a pharmacy that stocked the med so could get filled in one day. Walgreen said they stocked the med. Had doc send scrip there. Waited several hours and called about status of scrip. Was told they did not stock the med and ordered it. Could not get till next day. Second time something like this has something like this has happened at this Walgreens. Will not happen again.

Literally the longest wait time no matter what time you go in the drive thru, and the in store pharmacy AND regular check out always has a line and long wait as well. The only reason I haven’t switched is because it’s 2 seconds from my house, but definitely considering a new pharmacy if this store doesn’t get it together.

Now that Walgreens has bought out the local Rite Aid, the pharmacy wait has become unacceptable. I gave it a few months to let them get acclimated to the larger number of customers but it has not improved. Last night it took 45 minutes to get my script which was called in by the doctor before hand. There were 10 people working behind the counter but it didn’t seem to make the process any faster. There must be something Walgreens can do to more efficiently process their customers in store. Walgreens, if you’re going to buy more customers from another pharmacy in an attempt to make more money faster, make sure you are able to keep the customers with good, efficient service. I also didn’t see the Rite Aid pharmacy employees who were supposed to be kept on staff when I came into the pharmacy this last time. I am missing the personal, friendly relationship with the employees and the good, quick service.

I’ve been to Walgreens in Fairhope several times even though I get most Rxs via the mail. It’s always a wait even when I use their express service. Not many greetings other than “Can I help you”. I’ve inched closer to finding another local pharmacy other than Walmart, where I can feel completely appreciated. As for the rest of the staff and store, not a complaint. I could easily give them a 4 star but not the pharmacy.

Ever since Rite Aid merged with this store it has been a nightmare! The wait is extremely long to get your prescriptions at the drive-thru or inside, even though they have about 10 pharmacists behind the counter. I couldnt get anyone in the pharmacy to pick up my phone call either. I tried three times and waited on hold forever. The manager even went back there to have them answer the phone, but to no avail. Horrible service!!

The pharmacy recently did not have my prescription. I would have to wait 8 days. No one in the pharmacy offered to call other Walgreens stores to check on the availabilityThey were not very helpful and somewhat annoyed when I asked them to please check with other local Walgreens. They were not busy at the time. I was the only one there.

Had to call 4 time to finely get a live person! Get rid of that recording that picks up your phone. You get stuck in a loop when the recording picks up. Let your customers know they are important to you and your business and have someone answer the phone not a recording. Or risk losing your customers. This is bad business.

Was told Rx would be ready at 11:15 called in at 10:15. Showed up at 11:30. Was told to come back at 12. Show up at 12 to be told it would be another 20 minutes. Still don’t have the Rx at 12:20. Expect to spend a few hours at the pharmacy

The only reason that I would give this Walgreens one star instead of zero (if I could) is because the staff IN the store are very nice.However, the Phamacy staff has continuously proven themselves to be extremely unfriendly and rude (outside of one person I’ve encountered while picking up perscriptions). They make it seem like you are inconveniencing them by picking up your medicine.My boyfriend and I have gone seperately to this Walgreens to pick up our prescriptions for months now and we both always experience the same kind of treatment.On top of the rudeness, the drive thru takes FOREVER. It always takes at least half an hour in the drive thru.We will be switching pharmacies.

The pharmacy makes the same mistakes over and over. Be prepared to wait 4 or more hours to get a pascription filled. Once they finally let you know its done, its not. It is never really ready. Now wait another 15 min and try again. This time when you think it has to be done, guess what its not going be filled. The worst part is the attitude of the workers. Try Rite Aid in Fairhope and you will avoid this tragedy of a store.

2nd Try. Again, terrible development. 75% of my 80 prints had major edges removed, cutting off faces, heads and other features of my photos. This was my 2nd experience, about one year apart. Additionally, two copies of same print, one is OK, next is blurry. Maybe development computer needs adjustment! I tried Walgreens because of same Keibler at Walmart. Need recommendation as to whom can print these digital photos correctly???
