Such a great little shop including a bookstore and a coffee shop. They have a lot of fun little knickknacks as well as jewelry. They also have a lot of different smelling candles. Page and Palette also has a whole section of kids toys which is very nice for them to include!
Friendly, helpful staff. Not just an amazing selection of books, but also gifts and cards.
Charming book store. The book I was seeking was available in only one which was well damaged. The attendant offered a 20% discount, which I quickly accepted!
Great book store/bar/coffee shop. We went on New years Eve, 2020 and listened to a 4 piece band ( 🎸 acoustic guitar, Bass and mandaline). It would have been too much if there was a drummer so this was nice. We also got coffee a few times here in this trip. Great time. Also the water in the bathroom was always hot thanks to the instantaneous hot water heater in the bathroom.
A great book shop and cafe in Fairhope! Good selection of books and an art supply department.
Just like Fairhope, this bookstore/coffee shop/bar is quaint and cozy! They offer a little something for everyone. Chai tea lattes are some of the best I have tasted, with just the right amount of spice. Speaking of spice, the staff was very personable as Amy would tell us stories that had us belly-laughing! Keifer greeted us on our first night in town and ended up aiding in planning our itinerary for our trip with his wonderful suggestions! The last morning, as we were grabbing our to-go drinks, we turned around to a room full of small children and parents who were attending a book reading....if that doesnt make your heart smile Im not sure what will. Absolutely love this place!❤
This is a great independent bookstore with a lovely cafe and bar. Live music most nights of the week.
I found this place after frequenting many of the other sub par cafes around Fairhope. This is the best coffee shop in lower Alabama hands down. The staff is knowledgeable cute and attentive. The coffee is top notch and fresh. Free wifi, a book store and ice cream! And if that doesn’t catch your fancy there is a bar right in back with wine beer and spirits live music and lots of great locals
A local gem. Browse books. Chat with staff. Sit with a coffee and talk. Take in great music. Listen to local authors and bestselling authors as well. Such a great place.
Best bookstore I have ever been to. Friendly staff. They leave notes!
Love this place. Small selection but still wonderful with a coffee shop and ice cream in the same building.
A generational store. Bought my art supplies there so did my mom and my grandmother. They did transition to straight books but added a trendy venue wine and on the other side of the wall a coffee shop. Live music and book readings.
Its a really neat place to read, get treats, and be in a cool atmosphere. I went on a dreary Saturday afternoon, but the place was moving like it was a beautiful day. They have coffee, tea, a bar, singing, and books! Its the perfect set up!!
I absolutely love the Page & Palette! I always find what I need whether its the newest novels, puzzles, cards, a neat reading light, or the variety of occasion cards! Enjoying a tasty cup of coffee or tea is also a special tteat at their Latte Da Coffee Shop! Having a cocktail at the Book Cellar should not be missed. Listening to guest authors is always a wonderful experience with a chat and book signing! I always meet friendly people, who share in the delight of the featured author! The Page & Palette in fabulous Fairhope is my favorite place!
Super nice place, to hang out or just grab a cold drink
Outstanding indie bookstore. Visited twice and loved both visits. Very friendly staff, too!
Love this place! Very relaxing atmosphere and super friendly staff 👍🏽
What a delightful local bookshop in Fairhope! Just like Fairhope, it did not disappoint! Something for everyone, & an amazing children’s section! Serving up reads & refreshments... books, toys, educational items, gifts, coffee, snacks, ice cream, WiFi, & more! The owner even took time to have a genuine conversation with us just because. Such a gem! Check it out!
Loved it and did before. I stay in love with it
Wonderful little bookstore and coffee shop best coffee around
Favorite independent bookstore and great café and little bar for wonderful music events
A well curated selection of new and local books. Not a huge amount but definitely something for everyone and the staff seems knowledgeable, plus you can read your new book at the cafe.
Such a cute place to shop. They have a ton of unique finds. Great atmosphere with a wide array of books to enjoy all while drinking coffee! Love it will definitely go back.
Books and coffee and beer and wine. Who could ask for more?
Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable.
Thank you once again Mr. Kiefer and Page and Palette for allowing me to serenade your guests and receive tips as well as the wonderful coffee blends. Me and my younger brother had a great time! See you soon!
Great place to get a book...
Love Page & Palette. Laid back. Music not too loud. Just a really nice place to chill, relax and enjoy a drink. I always feel safe going to Page&Palette as a single lady. It’s well lite up and usually there are a lot of people walking around town at night. So no worries about going there alone.
Great personalized service
Always stop at P&P when in Fairhope!
Worst coffee. Great service!
A nice little bookstore with a good selection to choose from.
Awesome hot chocolate, quaint bar area and bookstore.
Been around forever. Great book store.
Good coffee, good reads, unique environment. With seating inside and outside, it is the place to be if you want to read a book in the summer.
Hoorah for small independent bookstores!! This one is great! Super nice informative staff.
“A very unique coffee shop and bookstore. Nice lounge and reading area to relax.” Hospitality is great. 😊
Very friendly and efficient
Page and Palette is one of my favorite places to frequent. It is located in the heart of downtown Fairhope, and situated on an upbeat corner perfect for people watching and enjoying the outdoors in their comfortable seating. As passerbys go in and out of the coffee shop, you feel a belonging to the town as you enjoy your delicious choice off the menu and sit back, allow the rhythm of Fairhope to flow through your veins. Whether you are from Fairhope, or just passing through, a visit to Page and Palette is a must do!
My favorite place to be. This is the best bookstore. I love that they are not a chain bookstore. They have a coffee shop and a wine bar. Its lovely.
Gave one star because I couldnt give it 0. Drove from south Louisiana to see Kristen Hannah which I got reservation tickets 3 weeks before and couldnt even get to the front door. Very disappointed. Im 70 years old and drove by my self 5 hrs only to not be able to get in because there was so many people. What good is getting reserve tickets.
Whenever I’m in Fairhope AL for my business, I always try to find time for a visit to Page & Palette Bookstore. They have an extensive collection of Southern authors. Many will come to P&P to introduce their work and sign First Editions. In addition to Southern storytellers, the also attract wonderful musicians from all over the South on a regular rotation. You’ll also find unique children’s books, games, greeting cards, and delightful ephemera. Fairhope is a must see as a whole and P&P in particular.
Friendly Service, Cozy Atmosphere, Delicious Icerages!!! The Iced Spiced Chai Latte Is Amazing As Well!
This is my favorite place in all of Fairhope. I fall more and more in love with it every time I enter. The atmosphere, the wonderfully eclectic and local selection of books, the live music, guest authors, the coffee and tea selection, the unrivaled hospitality of the employees and their true love for literature and all things awesome... The list is endless. We moved here in March and I am forever grateful that we discovered this true gem. I knew places like this existed, but I never thought I would be this close. Thank you guys for all you do!
Excellent bookstore with a coffe shop and little bar. The staff is great and ready to help you find the books youre looking for and make thoughtful suggestions. Nice gift section including locally made items. If you have a soft spot for bookstores like I do, stop in and enjoy this local treasure.
Have been going there for years and better than any book store around
Interesting and tasteful local vibe. Good coffee and a friendly staff. Would strongly recommend looking in to some of the local authors on display.
Wonderful independent bookseller with a great ambience with connected coffee shop and bar. Often has book signings.
Great small bookstore. Nice environment. They have a good selection of books.
My favorite place to visit when Im in Fairhope. Was hoping to return this month, but understand the stay at home orders in other areas of the country are necessary for all.
This was my first trip to The Page and Pallate and I thoroughly enjoyed tonights Music in the Round session! The talent, lyrics and music was top notch! The crowd was pleasant.
Love this local bookstore/art store. Great little coffee house to boot.
Ordered and held my books for me. Very nice .
Nice shop. Really like the coffee shop and the special events they host.
Book store is precious, great book selection and lots of cute knick knacks... perfect local stop for getting lost and having a laugh! We stopped to enjoy a coffee after - coffee was just ok. A couple of teens working at the time, on their phones, not overly friendly, but overall cute place to stop in!
Good bookstore.
Always have a great experience here! Amazing coffee and atmosphere
So we came to the book signing for David Sedaris tonight. What a crowd!Ticket prices were reasonable. Tickets? Yes! The tiny 12x14 poster that I saw a month ago never mentioned tickets...oh well.So we waited for a few minutes until everything began. David graciously treated us to personal memories and even read snippets from his diary for possible mention in upcoming books. Thank God he doesnt keep calendars. The time came for the actual book signing and this was where structure broke down and ground to a halt. Its like they didnt plan this out at all. There was no order, no preconceived notion of how it should flow, no fluidity at all. Worst of all, there is a coffee shop and bar in the same building that could have offered complimentary drinks to cushion the needless wait.Poor Fairhope...even David didnt want to be here.I find it interesting that a business thats been open 51yrs (since 1968) has so few reviews. And out of the previous few it had they were all 5-Stars? Im guessing the staff or their friend were culpable...hey maybe the mayor has multiple accounts and left them herself?
Fun. Friendly with coffee!
Very nice experience
Great book store. Very helpful and wonderful customer service
Have always loved the bookstore, the back bar is a beautiful new edition!
Unique selection with down home friendly service.
Great selection enhanced by helpful and friendly staff.
Fantastic independent bookstore with a great local, coastal flavor and a delicious coffee shop!
Nice relaxing & unique bar, bookstore, and coffee shop
Neatest bookstore Ive ever been in.
Great Spot. Coffee, Books, Beer, Whiskey, Live Music, Good People
Not only the best indie bookstore in the south, but it has a coffee shop and listening room with full bar for author signings and musicians. Its my second home.
Nice book store, and nice people working there.
Fantastic! Excellent customer service and the band playing in the cafe was wonderful! I am already looking forward to my next visit to Fair hope!
Great food, loved the decor, service was wonderful!
Fairhope local here. This is my favorite spot for coffee, and they have the best baristas in town!
