Been a loyal customer for years, having tried Valvoline and others, scheduling and getting an appointment are so much easier, and even though I have had problems over the years, Dave, (the regional mgr.) has always taken care of any issues. The staff is generally very accommodating as well. Though convenient my biggest gripe is even though scheduling over the web is very easy and convenient, it does many times allow for overbooking which leads to longer service and wait times to no fault of the local store staff.

I have bought 4 sets of tires from this location. I have a nail in the tread of one tire. It’s been in there at least 2-weeks and the tire hasn’t leaked. When I called they confirmed that I could get it repaired free because it was covered under warranty. They also mentioned that if the nail was close to the side wall it may not be repairable. This raised a red flag for me. Sure enough the clerk looked at it and immediately said it wasn’t repairable. I said I knew he was going to tell me that. I left and I will never enter this establishment again. It wasn’t / isin’t any where close to the side wall. This isn’t the first negative experience I’ve had there. If they believe I’m that stupid they don’t need my business.

If your tires needs a last minute fixing, you should go here. They did a good job in mine. My old RAV had ticking sounds when I drive it, and it’s wheels wobble. Showed it to the desk man, Eric and Matt, they gave me a decent quote. And the mechanic in the back, named Andy, he is the best, very fast and efficient! People here are very professional. Good job guys, well done. Will definitely recommend to all

Customer service at this location is absolutely horrid! They did not know what they were doing and they were extremely rude! They claimed they did a full inspection on my vehicle but I had to take my car to another shop to get a second opinion and they found out what was wrong with my car! I will never go back to this location again! A tire shop should be able to find misalignment and worn tires!

Hi On August 13 I was a visitor. My tires were over inflated. luckily I went to ntb they fixed the problem tire set at 33pds .Local 2 tire places over inflated my tires at 38 and 39 pds . Hyundai recommends set at 33pds and Im almost 300 miles from home. Thanks ntb

The website will not give you a quote price for new tires WITH installation fees included.Once you choose the size you are wanting to shop prices for, you press the ‘add and book appt’ button. It will then ask for your vehicle information. Once you put the info in (you can go by car info or tire size. I tried both ways) it doesn’t send you to the next step to book an appt for installation with the tires you have chosen. It just asks again for your vehicle information. Very frustrating!

The manager on duty, Tom, was very accommodating in extremely down to earth which I find welcoming.He also found me a heck of a deal on a set of tires!!!I will definitely recommend this location to my associates and friends.

I took my car in to ntb with a noise coming from one of my wheels. I was welcomed by Matt, I described the sound. The mechanic inspected my car and found the issue! I was in and out in a good amount of time and it wasn’t too hard on the wallet! 😌

They were so nice, helped from the very beginning, my girlfriends car had a problem with the tire that they installed and helped with the problem and didnt charge us, then came back the next day for a noise we heard and they checked everything, tightened and even test drove the vehicle. Got to be honest they are the nicest, best work team ive seen in this area. And last but not least the guy who has helped through everything Errick Owens, he has made coming and asking for help a breeze and he is always so understanding, really makes this place a very friendly environment, 10/10 recommended

My valve stem was broken during a car wash near this location. I was running late to a father daughter dance and was in a bad situation. I own a lifted truck with oversize tires and rims so finding a place to service me is challenging. I called and described my situation. the gentleman on the line was very understanding and was about to dispatch two of his crew to help me. I drove to the NTB shop right as they were leaving and they were able to get me back on the road within 30 45mins. I was able to make it to my dance with my daughter.

Had one tire replaced, can you tell which one? Do not expect great customer service, notice of any kind, or a great work ethic/attention to detail. I was extremely happy to just get out of there due to a very rude person working the front. Two others ended up upset and felt cheated base on attitude alone from the front worker.

I had an appointment at 10 am on Saturday September 21st for an oil change and tire rotation. I waited on my vehicle in the waiting room the work order was clearly stamped in BOLD RED LETTERS that I was a waiting customer and it only took 30 minutes for the service, but nobody bothered to tell me that my vehicle was finished. After waiting until 11:30 am, 1 1/2 hours later I had to ask about my vehicle after I saw it sitting in the parking lot. These are the most incompetent people that I have ever had to deal with.A very dissatisfied customer

Ive been here before in the pass. Helping a young lady purchase a tire. Thats been about a year ago, and the service was poor. Ive never been back since are recommended this place. But my friend needed tires and he visited there and I picked him up. I can see the change in this place. The workers are more engaging, friendly and i couldnt believe it they were SMILING. Had an issue with my tire on a Saturday.. big hole luckily I was close, pulled over walked in only to be rudely told that by the front desk girl there was nothing they could do to help as they closed in a hour but she could get me an appointment Monday or Tuesday. Im sorry but my tire is flat an appointment for a few days later is not going to help. Took my business someplace else.no need to be rude.

I’ve passed by this place a thousand times and finally today decided to give them a try. When I walked in I was acknowledged immediately(which rarely ever happens anymore) even though the staff was busy with other guest. The gentleman Errik which was the service manager that I worked with was very nice, knowledgeable and generous! NOT PUSHY AT ALL! The services are very affordable which I didn’t expect! NO LONG WAIT TIME! The waiting room is what did it for me! They have it set up in a nice clean area, with coffee, water, magazines and a television. All around a great experience & I will definitely be visiting again for future services!

The service is great and customer service is good. Just take 2hrs or more to complete tasks even after appointment is made.

What a great shop. I was rolling through town taking care of a family emergency, Minnesota to Florida, I noticed two missing lug nuts. Knowing I needed to roll, the manager sent out to get them, and then put them on and tightened the lot, turns out they all needed a snugging. Refused to be paid, wouldnt take a tip. Great shop, great manager. I love NTB and their franchisees.

The lady that works in the front was very professional but the gentleman who dealt with me about my car wasn’t....I had already been to my dealership and knew what the problem was and was sent here as one of the shops my warranty company works with. The guy was more concern with bashing the dealership and worrying about the warranty company verses checking my car. During the wait time of about 3 hours was horrible because the AC wasn’t working in the building. The guy refused to check the issue that I came for instead charged me $50 for checking a battery that had already been tested and was not the source of the problem my alternator was. I had to take my car to another shop who has now fixed my car without any trouble. I definitely would not go back or recommend this place warranty or not!

Tried to convince my daughter that she needed parts and service that were not required. Obviously tried to take advantage of a woman coming in alone. She took her vehicle to our regular mechanic and found that parts they tried to convince her she needed were not defective and were working properly. I would not use or recommend this business.

What ever happened to providing a service? These businesses are in it only to tey and expand at the cost of the consumer. Mechanics are to provide a service not up charge you buy selling you parts at a higher cost. This place is a joke dont waste your time or money, they will overcharge you.

I called to get and estimate and they were the cheapest, so I decided to make an appointment. The day of my appointment they had to reschedule me, because the expert had an emergency. I had no voice when I made my appointment and still didnt when I arrived. They were really concerned with my well being, but they got me together quick and I was in and out. I really appreciate that.

This place is terrible first I had to make an appointment which is fine but then the manager doesnt even look me up says its going to more expensive then what it said online.And all I was going in for a one tire!! Thats it!! And it took 6 hours that makes no sense what so ever they just seem incompetent

This is the most professional run store I have ever been to. The mechanics took their time to explain what was the issue with my truck. I will not take my vehicles no other place but NTB Fairview Heights. William has excellent customer service skills and master at multitasking. I highly recommend the NTB location.

Terrible customer service. My out of town grandson needed tires and was told they would be in yesterday. After no calls he called them and was told they were picking them up today. Found out they were being sent from a store just as close to my house so drove there and tires are being put on now but now they will be driving to North Carolina in holiday traffic. There are other stores in St Louis that I would go to and never again to the Fairview Heights store

So this morning I heard some scraping in the front of my car. I took it to NTB for the first time and after the free brake check it was found out that I needed rotors and brakes on the front. Thank you to Mr. Matthew Owens and his team for the great service and making me feel welcome. I will definitely be back for anything I need with my car.

Ive had bad experiences at NTB in the past, so I didnt go back for more than a decade. Thought I would give them another try. Had an alignment check, and didnt need it. Give them credit for honesty at this visit.

Well kinda a rough start they didnt have the size in the tire I had scheduled to have put on(they thought they did) but I was offered another tire they had in stock. Much better tire at a awesome price!!! So the customer service is awesome! Even had my truck dropped right at the front door. Downside I was there longer than expected because of the mixup. But def still get a 5 star for the service.

We had a great experience with the Fairview Hts location this week. I needed new tires for my car and not only did we get the best price from shopping around, they got us in and out efficiently. The staff was very professional and they made the process very smooth. I’d recommend NTB Fairview Hts as a great choice in the metro east area.

Service was prompt and great. I was advised that they were under new management which was fantastic. One of the main reasons I stopped going to NTB was due to previous management and the way they treated their customers. It was a little over a year since my last visit here due to that problem. I gave them another chance and was not disappointed. Only time will tell if new management can turn it around and make it a better place.

Terrible!Bought some nice Continentals online and took them up to NTB to have them mounted. Pretty simple, right? Well, first time on the interstate after getting my car back, the steering wheel starts shaking and jerking uncontrollably. Strike one.I figured they just didnt balance one of the wheels properly, so I took the car back and politely explained what was going on. To their credit, they took the car back into the shop right away and attempted to re-balance the wheels. After about an hour, they brought me my keys and told me they added some more weights to the wheels and that it was good to go. Sure enough, I noticed an EXCESSIVE amount of stick-on weights inside my rims. Right away, I took it back to the interstate where the steering wheel, again, jerked and shook. Strike two.I immediately took it back to NTB where they told me that I probably had a bent rim and there wasnt anything else they could do. My car drove perfectly when I brought it in the first time, so I knew that wasnt the case. Strike three.Shortly after that, I took the car to the local mechanic in my wifes rural home town. He pulled the wheels off and immediately saw the problem. NTB had failed to remove the inner clamp-on weights that were installed with the previous set of tires!That giant stack of stick-on weights NTB had installed were only acting to counterbalance the clamp-on weights, and did nothing to balance the rest of the wheel. Complete amateurs. Not sure why I expected anything else.My new go-to mechanic charged me a ridiculously small amount of money to re-balance my wheels, and once again, my car drives like a dream.

I thought Id try them again but this time, I really hated the experience. I feel they damaged my tire valves on purpose, but it is what it is. And what it is is a disappointment.

Returning customer, but did not feel like I was treated professionally or with respect by General Manager. Laughed at for several earnest questions and left standing in wait for 15 minutes with no explanation as to what was going on or why I was waiting with no other customers present. Same products and services at another competing chain were quoted 40% less as well, so taking my business elsewhere for the time being.

My car battery died this afternoon and needed to be replaced. I went to NTB and was assisted by Errik. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. In no time at all Errik had the new battery in my car, and I was on my way. It was a relief to receive such wonderful, prompt service when dealing with an unexpected inconvenience. Highly recommend and will use again!

Lies, they told me one price and be able to make a decent deal. After I showed up (1 hour drive) everything changed. Extra 2 hour charge at 124.99 to change 1 wheel stud that should easily be in the price of new tires and front end alignment prices.I packed up and left. Ill go elsewhere

My boyfriend and I are traveling cross country from California to Vermont and had out tire pressure sensory turn on during the drive. Since weve never experienced driving in the snow we started to become nervous about our tires. We stopped by here and Matt was at the front counter and really helped us out. He was patient with us and our questions and really made us feel comfortable and confident on the rest of our drive.

I made an appointment for 2:30pm. I arrived at 2:15pm. My truck didnt get taken back til 3:00pm. I needed an old change and a simple plug put in my tire. I told the man twice the nail was at the R in wrangler. It is 4:45pm and I am still waiting for my truck.

Terrible service. Bottom line; make sure you stick around in the lobby to watch your vehicle. Arrived a 3:00 for a scheduled appointment, checked in with the guy at the desk. Figured I’d wait in the lounge area, assuming my car would get taken care of. I know “this is partially my fault For trusting people to do their jobs”, Because as of 5:00 my vehicle was still sitting there, in front of the building right where I left it. When I asked if any work had been done. They acted as if it wasn’t a big deal. All this time for a simple tire rotation. Ridiculous!!

Waited almost 5 minutes after walking in before an employee came in to the front area. Told them what I was looking for, and had pretty much 0 interaction with me until handing me 2 printouts. Seemed more interested in getting to the girl sitting at the table in shorts, than selling me 4 tires. Maybe St. Louis locations are more customer friendly.

I receive such poor service every time I go, I feel that they dont even deserve a half a star. NTB tricked me into purchasing this 5-year alignment warranty about two years ago after a tire purchase. I was promised free wheel alignment, tire rotation, and tire balance for 5 years on any vehicle I own because that is included in the warranty. Every time I take my vehicle to this place, they always try to get some money out of me. They always tell me that parts are wrong with my car when the car is fine. There was a time were I took my car there to get a wheel alignment service, AND THEY NEVER DID IT! They assured me that they completed the alignment, and as soon as I drove off I could tell they didnt do anything. I took the car to my mechanic, and he assured me NTB did not do any type of alignment on my car at all. I would NEVER recommend ANYONE waste their hard earn money with such a corrupt company such as NTB. Everyone I speak to has had a poor experience there. This is the first review I have ever done on any business. I just felt the need to spread the word, and give everyone else a fair warning to no go to NTB for any means necessary. Find you a nice mechanic you can trust and stick with them. NTB is not the way to go for any service that needs to be done to your vehicle. By the way, their customer service is some of the worse I have ever experienced. You could be standing there right in front of a reps face for 5 minutes and they not say one word to you or greet you. Save your time and you money, choose someone else other then NTB.

I purchased four new tires in April of 2016. I have not driven excessively (i.e. 8k miles or less). I went in for a tire rotation at NTB in December of 2016. They would not rotate my tires and attempted to sell me two new tires, because allegedly the treads on my front tires were too low. My tires are fine, as affirmed by my husband and an additional second opinion. I took my vehicle elsewhere and had the job done with no issues.

I really needed to get some new tires on my truck and the manager Laszlo was extremely helpful and even stayed late along with the other workers to finish the job. I strongly recommend NTB Fairview Heights and will continue to come here for all of my car and truck needs. Thanks Laszlo and thanks NTB!!!

Dear NTB, I just want to point out 4 things.1.) Staff is friendly, so thats always goodHOWEVER,2.) I never SPECIFICALLY asked for an engine diagnostic...so why did I get charged $64? If I had asked for one, I thought it would be free???3.) Last time I went to you guys it did NOT take 3 hours for an oil change, but today it did4.) I would much rather have my brakes sound like my stomach than pay $750 for them to be fixed.I have yet again been screwed over by you guys.

Got a great deal on a set of four tires, the salesman was professional and they were able to get me in and out in less than 2 hours on a busy Saturday afternoon. They did point out a maintenance issue on my truck, but when I explained that I would fix it myself they gave me some helpful pointers and did not try to pressure sale me on the issue. This is the third great experience I have had with this particular store.

Everyone was friendly and listened carefully to what I had to say about my vehicle. They were honest and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. Had a 9 a.m. appointment. Was pointless because they didn’t do anything in the 2 hours I waited. Quoted me $360 for labor on mounting 4 tires with sensors.Told them that was ridiculous and to not even touch my new tires. I had it done at a different shop for $120. Told NTB to do an alignment on the vehicle (a basically brand new truck) and they claimed front end parts were too worn out to align it lol this place is an absolute joke. Don’t waste your time.

Although staff was friendly and courteous the wait time was ridiculous not to mention second time in for same issues. went in for a air leak in tire. was told no appointment for two days. came back at apt in two days got my vehicle in over 30 minutes late. in all the tire repair took and estimated 90 minutes to reseal a bead on the rim. saw a guy without an appointment taken in right away to fix his tire. but yet I had to have an appointment. not very good customer service.

Took my vehicle to Meineke yesterday. They were very nice but didnt find the small piece of metal which was slowly deflating my tire. NTB found it within 5 minutes. I talked to all of the staff (Lynn, Brandon, and Devin) who were very nice and provided excellent service. Definitely recommend!!

I think its more expensive than most

Went there for a simple oil change & tire rotation but because there was spilled oil on the engine from a previous overflow, they said there was a leak & they couldnt change my oil. Left and got it changed the same day by a reputable auto shop who told me that there was no cause to be turned away in the 1st place. Never will go to NTB again.

I only go to them and have done business there for over a year now. Everything from oil changes to tire replacements. Theyre top notch and all these other poor reviews are simply completely wrong. If you want great service at a great price, go to these guys.

Well, I dont remember exactly what it was this time... isnt my first bad experience, sadly. I believe that they took a long time to get my oil change accomplished even with an appt. Then told me I needed all new tires out of the blue and have never mentioned anything to me about how bad they were getting beforehand. Pretty unnerving, considering, I had only been taking my car to them, at that location specifically, for quite some time.

Went in to get my tires checked because they seemed low, No counter help, then an employee pops out of a door and says I am on a conference call, it will be a few minutes I am like OK i can wait my stuff is not serious. He comes back out less than a minute later and asks me what i want. I ask him politely if I can get my tires check out. He then tells me. There are two other gentlemen here first and it will be an hour, there is a self serve station on the side of the business and that he has 15 calls to return and he does not have time for me. I am sorry but that is rude and not that way I was taught to take care of customers.Sooo Went down the road, stopped by a competitor they were friendly, checked out my tires, filled them and had me gone in 10 minutes with a smile and a wave...

CAUTION!! Approach this facility with EXTREME CAUTION. So disgusted with the competency and service that I am compelled to post my first consumer review although It is apparent they have not been moved by consumer reviews. I went to NTB in Fairview Heights 2 days ago. I REFUSE to give them another $400 to fix the problem I originally went for. Paid for tires and more that I did not need. Was assured when I called back after jumping in my truck that they would work with me next day because mechanic had left for the day. Yesterday medical emergency with my mom. They say no problem. Set appt for today. Today, mechanic didnt drive 50 ft before knowing right off what the problem was. He says hes more experienced thats why he knew the real problem right away. I REFUSE to give them another $400. There is absolutely no way the person who drove my truck from the mechanics bay to customer parking could not have noticed the problem.
