The shelves were a bit empty, looks like a lot needed to be re-stocked. We went in there looking for some Halloween decor but came away with a helium balloon. While checking out, there was an employee who was having an argumentative and controversial phone conversation with what sounded to be a manager at the front counter. Very unprofessional and loud, made my boyfriend and I feel uncomfortable. The rest of the employees must have heard the commotion because they all were huddled around the argumentative employee listening to the conversation. Had to be about 5 of them. There was definite drama that was going on and we felt included in it by the cashier. It was a bad first impression, and we will not be returning to this location, EVER! 😔

Just bought my daughters Halloween costume tonight. Got it home and the top is missing. Never shopping there again.

Very disappointed with a 9-27-21 afternoon visit to the Fairview Heights Illinois store... Spotted an item on-line that they had 17 of and could be picked up in store... Drove to store and looked for it... There were two staff members who could not have been less helpful... When I asked them individually and got NO we dont have it from one and the other staff member quickly stated our inventory is wrong on-line... On top of that the store was about 20% stocked... Much empty shelf space... Went back home and called several locations who showed having it on-line... None had it... Not Very impressed with Party City and would not ever go there again...

A bit pricey for what youre buying, but very convenient to have all things party-related in one place.

Lots of variety of party supplies and costumes. Prices seem decent. Service is typically slow here unfortunately, and the aisles are cluttered. If they improve those, it would be pretty good. They sell a lot of decorations, candies, banquet materials, cake decorating supplies, and balloons.

Went to Party City to grab a customers order. The customer service was wonderful! The staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Their isles were mostly empty and they didnt have anything really. All candy bins were empty. Only plus was the cashiers were super friendly.

We went there today... there were 4 cashiers. 2 cashiers were helping one person and 2 were helping another. We stood there for 15 minutes as they kept looking at us and not doing anything. When we first walked up one cashier was finishing up a customer, so I know she had a register opened (she walked away from us) Very bad customer service! We ended up walking out as the line grew and none of them cared! Will never be back!

Always loved shopping here. Only rating 3 stars because of circumstances out of their control. Covid 19 hit everyone hard leading to not alot of parties. so their Inventory reflects that.

This store is not what it use to be.The store have a wide variety of things but it still look empty.

They had what we needed, but the prices are crazy high on some items. Do your homework before going and dont be tempted to buy things while there that you can clearly find at more reasonable outlets

Out of stock on a lot of basic celebrations like 50th Bday. Lack of customer service on the floor. Lack of customer service at the counter. Waited in line by order pick up just to find out I needed to get into the other line. Once helped at checkout the cashier proceeded to answer the phone 2x times to answer questions as I waited to be checked out. Ordered balloons for a next day 1 pm pickup and they werent even ready. Had to stand there and wait as the blew them up then tried to short me 2 balloons. One popped on the way home and woke up the next day to 11 of the basic balloons hanging low to the ground. What a waste of $30 bouquet they didnt even last 15 hrs.

They were very helpful, with how busy the store was I was treated like a valued customer. Were very professional. Front store staff and back store.

I ordered some items during the COVID-19 quarantine but my sons birthday wasn’t going to be until June 7th. I wanted to make sure I had all of the items I needed ahead of time just in case they happened to run out. I placed an online order for pick up. After I placed my order I received a phone call from the store verifying that I did not want helium in my balloons at that time. The associate who I believe her name is Melanie, was very kind and I appreciated that phone call from her for verification. When I was ready for my curbside pick up, it went so smoothly and quickly. I was very impressed! When the time came for me to go into the store to get the helium in the balloons that I had purchased there a couple of months prior, it was a very easy process and I dealt with Melanie again. She provided such great customer service! I have always had good experiences at the store but these last two times, I have had exceptional customer service!

Poor customer service. Ordered 2 balloons a day prior for pick up and they werent ready. Stood in online/pick up line and was in there for 30 minutes for something I ordered a day prior.

Never has what Im looking for. Online itll state that the items available in store but when I get there I end up getting told they dont carry that item. Frustrating.

Lots of selections of seasonal and year around party supplies. Prices are reasonable. Great selection of balloons that they will inflated on property.

I made the mistake to go purchase a balloon bouquet for a friend. Although there were a lot of balloons on the wall the variety of what I was wanting was very slim. After purchasing the bouquet I asked for a bag to protect them in transportation and the salesperson wanted to charge me a dollar for a bag, this is just ridiculous! Had I known this and I wasnt short on time I definitely would gone somewhere else! Should have went to the Dollar Tree where they have a big selection and also will not charge 4 bags! #gotodollartree

Question for corporate office...First you have great, helpful and friendly employees!Corporate changed checkout. Why is the line entrance to the left? It makes no sense! You have to backtrack past the entrance to get out. I can’t imagine the “new” way surviving when you are busy.

Party City is Party City. Lol. Their customer service was pretty good. I didnt have a person greet me, but they will help you and guide you to were you need to be. Checkout time seems to be timely fashion. I wasnt in line no more than 8 minutes. And the line was very long for a Part city crowd. But the day was Halloween and I didnt expect it to busy in the morning and noon. But it was Halloween and everything must go. But I enjoy my shopping.

Great place to find party and party theme supplies. Baby shower, bridal shower, birthday party, seasonal, and religious themed supplies. Balloons galore to choose from and you can prepurchase them. Lots of candy and little gift bag stuffers make it a good source for school parties.

Huge selection and helpful friendly staff. Weve never gone there and not found what we were looking for.Even on the day before Halloween the store was packed with people but the the shelves were NOT picked clean!On really busy days weve seen long lines but the store staff handles it like pros. In a line that Ive seen it take almost an hour to get through at other stores we were up front checking out in less than 10 minutes.

Decent array of party supplies but be prepared to wait in line far longer than average for a store of their size & type to get checked out, regardless of amount of customers in line. The service at this store is consistently terrible and there seems to be a culture that encompasses a lack of concern for helping customers or for their time.

I was in and out in 10 minutes. Line was fast and they were organized. Got exactly what I needed quickly and online inventory was accurate.

This store was a mess! There was trash on the floor and shelves. Displays were eschew. I finally found the section I was looking for (Roaring 20s), and the shelves were bare. I asked at the counter if I was missing anything, and was treated as an inconvenience for asking.

Theyve got something for every occasion. You cant go wrong here if youre planning a party, wedding, or any other special occasion

Loved the place. First time Ive ever been there. Little costly but lots to pick from.

Was able to find some Mickey Mouse decorations last minute after searching everywhere. Not the cheapest prices compared to other stores who sell decorations but will definitely have what you need.

Its okay the prices are a little crazy but thats okay. I like around Halloween time, because of all the cool costumes they have. You should check not out if you have the means to. (By that I mean money/moolah!)

They offer so much! Its great for out of season costume needs, most of the party supplies are reasonably priced or at least awesomely themed for your every party need! My daughter and I always have fun party planning and shopping in here. LOTS of balloon options! I do wish the checkout was a little speedier and that the staff were a little more enthusiastic, it would make it more comfortable for me as a customer to ask questions about something I couldnt find or other products or services (like balloon ordering, etc) that Im curious about (since prices arent posted). ALSO, I see a sign for online balloon orders and pickup in store, but unless I missed something, I found the online process to be lacking in customizable options and would have had to revert to ordering in-store if I hadnt gotten frustrated all together and given up on the whole balloon order. Cest la vie.

Not a single sales person available to ask for assistance at 9pm. Maybe 3 other customers in the whole flipping store and no one ever approached me.

Horrible customer service. I asked an associate to help me get something from a high shelf. She said she would send help over. 15 minutes later I was still waiting and the girl I spoke to is nowhere in sight. I had to finallly hunt down something long to knock down what I wanted myself. I will not shop here again.

Heads up if you buy latex balloons from party city they charge to fill them before you buy them . I paid more for helium then the balloons.

Party City is an Organized store with a very good amount of themes to choose from (Hawaiian, boys, girls, sweet 16, graduation, bridal, etc). Fairview Heights, IL store has Military Discount 10% off with ID shown at register, so thats a bonus.

They seem to be understaffed. Ive been there twice in the last month and both times the line was really long and over in the custom stationary and invitation ordering section their were open boxes of balloons and other merchandise that looks like me freight that needs to be put away. It makes the front of the store look junky and cluttered. Add that to the long line to check out and five people waiting on balloon orders and the whole experience feels uncomfortable. My visits were two weeks apart and the feel was the same each time. My last visit I was picking up an internet order, the email I received instructed me to follow the signs to the pickup area inside the store, so I did. It happens to be the place where you pick up and/or wait for balloon orders as well. So I stand there, there are two cashiers taking care of the 8 people standing in line to check out and two employees fulfilling balloon orders, I just stand by the pick up sign and wait. Because I know that 30 seconds waiting can feel like 30 minutes I always check my phone when I start waiting. After seven minutes of waiting and making eye contact with three employees, the cashier closest to me finally asked how she could help, (the line of people waiting to check out was now down to five). I explained I was picking up an internet order, she said ok, Ill be with you in a few minutes. Two minutes after that one of the employees in the balloon area asked if I was waiting for balloons, I replied, no I am picking up an internet order, she rolled her eyes and said, youre just going to have to wait. I just nodded my head, at this point I had been waiting, quietly and patiently for 9 minutes. After another 4 minutes, the original cashier who acknowledged me first, came over and asked what my name was. She then had to move the boxes of freight in the custom area to get to the internet order holding shelf. She grabbed the bags with my name on it and then rang me out. Overall time in the store, 18 minutes. If the store had staffing, they could put the freight away and be more organized, less stressed and it wouldnt take 18 minutes to pick up an internet order. Just for reference it was 8 pm on a Friday on my first visit, which I shopped for items and waited for balloons, overall trip time 40 minutes. Second trip, 3 pm on a Saturday 18 minutes to get an internet order. I hope someone who can make changes sees this and gets the staffing issue in order

Has horrible service from rude employees for overpriced products. Was only customer and still had to wait 15 minutes to get any service. Brought in 17 inch latex balloons to get filled with helium and they wanted to charge me $3.99 a piece. That would have been $23.94 for helium for just six balloons! I was expecting to pay a little more than the 48 cents they charge for 12 inch balloons but to me the price jump was crazy. I ended up going to another locally owned party store where I was only charged 78 cents per balloon saving me almost 20 bucks!

Great if you need party supplies of certain colors or basic themes, but not for more specific themes.

Had just what we needed. Good prices.

They are expensive but a great place to go for all your party needs.
