Couldnt find a sales associateNor when found the person was not so nice and walked away without trying to help find the product I was looking for. Wont be back. Was very surprised because I always have had very good service in the past what the very helpful sales people.

Best Ulta I have gone to so far. Have very helpful employees that make sure you’re doing good throughout shopping (nice for slightly anxious people that are nervous to ask for help again). I am particularly happy because the closest Ulta to me treats me like I’m stupid if I don’t have makeup on already, BUT this specific location is wonderfully welcoming and engaging with customers. I will literally skip going to Champaign’s Ulta and just get my makeup when I visit down here.

Just had my hair cut here and WOW! Carmen J. made all of my dreams come true. She was so kind, listened to me and made awesome conversation during my appointment. She is incredible at her craft and I am so excited to go back and see her. Highly recommend these beauty professionals, can’t say enough great things!!

Ive had pretty good experiences here the girl at the Mac counter is always very nice and helpful and listens to you and doesnt just rush to sell you something Ive been in a couple times where they just try to come up to me as soon as I walk in I dont really like that I like to look around a little before asked if I need any help but all in all a good place everyone at the register has always been nice to me at check out

I had placed an online order and was missing parts of it when it arrived so I called the customer service number on my packing slip and they were just awesome! The lady who answered my call was very nice and prompt to help me. She took my information and resent out my missing products right away and gave me priority shipping at no extra fee for the incident. I couldn’t have asked for better customer service!

Nothing against Ulta, I know the products I want and need before I go in there. This is a review of this location. They did not have one of 3 items I went there for, and I was there for soap, and sugar scrub. NONE of them. They said I could order them and wait 7-10 business days, LOL really, Amazon could have them to my house in 3, shame on me for going into a real store. Also I could not get help from staff until I waited in line and asked for it. It was 20min before close there were me an two other customers in there. Swing and a miss at this location.

Ulta Beauty in Fairview heights stated online that they had in stock and in store the items that I would have like to of purchased.... however when I got there that was not the case and the guy behind the counter was very rude about it..... even though I drove 20 minutes to go purchase them!! However, thanks to Destiny for helping me with all my needs and even looking at my phone and seeing that it clearly stated that the products I wanted were in stock at the store!!!! So I guess before relying on (in store/in stock) I would recommend calling before driving to the store.:(. I guess I should have just ordered from Sephora and got my free samples!?🤷🏼‍♀️

Ulta beauty, Fairview Hts, Illinois Rude did not get greeted when entered store. Cashier just looked and ignored me. No one didnt ask did I need assistance with anything. I will never spend my hard earned money in a place where not wanted.

I was very excited to visit Ulta for the VERY FIRST time since I just moved here from Europe, where certain (Make-up) brands are not available to buy (in store). I was not looking for anything in particular, but I was willing to spend all my coins.I noticed that I was looking out of place walking around with no direction (I guess profiling people and following them around happens anywhere in the world, not a shocker). So I walked back to the front to grab a basket. Its safe to say I was starting to feel uncomfortable.Nevertheless I still kept looking around because I could finally see the products I liked, before I bought them. One of your female employees (whose name I didnt catch) came up to me and asked if I needed help finding anything while she was scanning my basket to see if I had something in it, which was very rude but I let it slide.Like I said, I wasnt looking for anything in specific but I was interested in a Fenty Beauty Concealer. So I asked her about it and she looked at me like I was stupid and said We dont have Fenty Beauty here, this is Ulta in an unfriendly tone. I told her I wasnt from here and that I didnt know that. Obviously she was not genuinely trying to help me.I had one Item in my basket and decided to just check-out so I could leave. Ashley, the cashier who helped me, was thankfully very friendly and sweet!I thought this was going to be a very cool experience especially since It was my first time, but unfortunately I ended up leaving the store uncomfortable and embarrassed. So Ill give 2 stars. They are both for Ashley...Ill get over the embarrassment and Ill definitely try another Ulta location soon, but I wont be coming back to this one. Teach ALL your employees to be kind, it really does not cost anything.

Horrible customer service from Beauty Advisor Kristen. She was SUPER unhelpful & had the worst attitude. I had a gift card that wouldn’t work on her machine & she just stared at me. Went back 10 min later to resolve the issue & got stuck with her again. Same problem. Didn’t even attempt to fix the issue until she got annoyed & FINALLY called someone to help. If you can’t handle working with the public, then don’t.

My first visit was meant to be a drive by. I went inside and fell in love. So much to see. New hang out!!!!I also expected everything to be over priced but to my surprise so much was affordable... I cant wait to go back

Im always overwhelmed when I go in looking gir something. I usually find it, but spend alot of time looking. Most of the time the staff is hanging out up front chatting up, and tend to forget there are people who need help finding something. Ill continue to shop there now that I know exactly where the products I want are located. In and out will be my motto.

What can I say??!! I absolutely LOVE this store!! The employees are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the products they offer, and you can find almost anything you need or want. I think the prices are in line with stores such as Macys or Dillards, and personally, I could literally spend hours in this store. Employees are very good sales people. Love it!!

I walked in to look around one day to price and buy beauty products. Within the 25 minutes i was in the store at least 4 employees walked up to me. That is good customer service. I would recommend going here if you are new to make up they have employees that are very excited to help you. They are so nice and friendly. They will do their very best to help you find what your looking for and also recommend products that you would actually use and/or need.

Ive noticed that the manager was walking around just watching CERTAIN people. I watched her watch these two Black woman, and she later moved on to watch someone else of the same race. She stood back, peeping at them. I understand that stores have people who frequently come in to steal, and that may be her loss prevention strategy, but she shouldnt just focus on Black people who are in the store. It wasnt that many of us in there, so I watched her watch US. Yes, she eventually made her way to me. Hey, manager, Thats called profiling!Another thing Ive noticed about this store is whenever I buy something, no matter how expensive, all I get is the receipt, but the white customers get all sorts of goodies. Theyll even tell them about free offers that they are entitled to get with their purchase, but never am I even told of any. Even if I ask are there any special offers with a product purchase, the answer is always no. I realize that certain products or services make you eligible for certain offers, but almost every brand has an offer connected to it at one point or another. I also understand that they run at certain times. I guess my timing sucks.I feel that this store is biased towards AA.

When you do find someone to help you look for something, they will lead you to the most expensive product, though there may very well be a much less priced, ie: reasonably priced item that will meet your needs.Theyre definitely there to make money, and they are expensive.

Ive never been to an ULTA before..I usually just buy things online. They had ALL the makeup. I was not disappointed. Skin care, makeup brushes,lips,lashes..why did I wait?!?! Now lets talk about the staff..They were all very sweet and helpful. Not overly helpful like car salesmen ;but actually helpful. Also I looked a rats mess today and nobody treated me like Julia Roberts in pretty woman. So I will be back ...A Lot.

First time Ive been here. My sister in law brought me and omg this place is amazing!! I will for sure be back!! Wish there was one close to where I live. Prices are good as well. But remember you hey what you pay for in make up!!

Id enjoy going more if an employee didnt follow me around the store the whole time. She was literally in the same isle as me following like a lost puppy. I couldnt escape her no matter where I went in the store and ended up giving up on a few items I wanted to look for. I spend enough money there to not be creeped by loss prevention. I go shopping to be alone. Ive been giving my business to Sephora since that experience.

Lots of variety in personal care such as hair products, styling products and makeup. You can often get great sales here. The reward card program is a bit disappointing.

About 2 weeks ago, I called the store and inquired about an item availability and asked if I could have a few items pulled to pick up later that day. I could tell the girl on the phone was put out by her tone. Her response was, well..we can pull a couple items if thats all you need, what did you need? As I started to tell her the 2 items I wanted, she interrupted me and asked if I could hold. My call then dropped. So I took my lunch to drive there, walked into the store and was one of 2 customers visible in the entire place. There were about 6 employees that I saw. I stopped to ask for some assistance locating what I was looking for, and was shuffled back back and forth between 2 girls, who were of no help. One of the items, which I had specifically asked about when I called was a primer, which I was told was available in store, but of course it was not when I arrived less than a hour later. I will not be returning. I should probably fill out a job application...I was better educated about the product I was in search of than the staff...and I have a much more pleasant attitude when dealing with the public. Found my favorite perfume for a great price. Got my usual hair gel and as an added bonus got some mini lavendar mint tea tree shampoo and conditioner. Ill definitely be back!

Went to exchange a color of lipstick that I bought 3 weeks ago and got it another city and I was able to get another color.

First time at the Salon, and had a great experience. My stylist Ava was amazing! She took her time and clearly cared about her clients. She made sure that I picked the right color and cut based on her expertise. I was very happy and satisfied with her services.

I went in for a haircut, my stylist Isabella talked to me about my cat who passed away. I was really devastated. She went out and got me a new kitten. Amazing service and the workers genuinely care. Seriously recommend. My new kittens name is Ulta.

Fantastic place to get your hair cut. Today was my first time there and I was welcomed by every employee that I passed. I told the female who cut my hair, Kaki, how I wanted it done and she added a little spice to it. I love the new look. There are four things I always look for when I try new places, professionalism, politeness, cleanliness, and talkative employees. I will be doing more business with Ulta in the future.

Had an emergency situation right on Christmas eve, not only they took me in, but Staci Kemp really made an effort to fix me up and make me fell better inside and out. Thank you so much. GREAT SERVICE.

Too many associates yet no one to help me

This Ulta store has got to be one of my favorite of any that Ive been to. All of the staff are super helpful even if you dont know what youre looking for. Ive never had a negative experience. Ive never felt judged or belittled because of my makeup preferences.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff

I’ve always loved ulta and the store itself but I recently found out they did nails, so I decided to try it out and assumed it would be great because I’ve heard all good things about their salon and services. I got them painted with gel which is what I usually would get anywhere else. The lady who was doing my nails was very nice and seemed very good at first but when I got home to look at them they were pretty sloppy as I got a closer look. I got them done for my vacation and I cleaned them up and they looked better. But, they only lasted 5 days. I’ve gotten many gel manicures from other nail salons, and I realize that Ulta does not specifically specialize in nails, but normally my gel manicures last for 3-5 weeks. I had to spend a majority of my vacation without my nails being done, and for the price, they should have lasted way longer.

Always have been given the absolute best customer service and advice on many different products to help cover and help the inflammation by my rosacea. Quick checkout! Really love this location and Im near Lambert Airport. I always stop here when Im in the area.

I arrived 15 minutes late to a Benefit Brow Bar appointment (my fault, absolutely). When I arrived the Benefit employee was leaning on the counter, playing with her phone. After getting her attention she told me that she was off work. Again, I understand that being late was my fault, but I felt that was extremely unprofessional. Never mind that they charge more for a brow wax than most salons, and it’s done in public on an uncomfortable stool. Aveda nearby charges $5 less, performs their waxing in a private massage room, and displays far more professionalism. The whole interaction left me with a bad taste in my mouth. It was a good reminder to stick to a locally-owned salon.

Sunday November 18, 2018, my husband and I went into Ulta for the very first time. We were approached by three different employees promoting buying either cologne or perfume for $50 or more and getting either a free robe or blanket. When we got to the register we were told that it was $60 or more you had to spend on perfume or cologne in order to receive the free gift. Well my perfume was 55 while my husbands cologne was 80 and our grand total was $290.00 but despite the discrepancy of being told from 3 employees what their promotion was, I was still unable to walk away with my second free gift. Once I had approached the manager regarding the situation, she just walked off without any type of apology or any resolution to fix the problem. Beyond that, their products are priced way too high so unfortunately I will not be returning.

It took forever to get any help in the Clinque area of the store. When I did one lady had no idea about anything then they sent someone over to help me that knew more and she was bothered and didnt want to give me my free Clinque items with my purchase.Think Ill head back to the department stores to purchase my Clinque merchandise.Very disappointed in Ulta Beauty

If you have thick curly hair, I cant recommend getting your haircut there. The person who cut my hair was Brianna. She was really nice and friendly but that doesnt make a good haircut. When I came home, I had to even out some of the bottom because it was hanging out by half an inch. Plus, my style was not done well either (I asked for it to be straightened with a flat iron). The results were what I could have achieved at home alone. There was no wow factor for what I spent. I tipped her $10 while I was there, because it took 2 hours to work on my hair. Overall, I was very disappointed. If you have thick curly hair thats long and you want your hair to actually look fabulous - I suggest going to the Alton, IL JC Penney Salon and getting Becca. I have been a frequent customer of Ulta Beauty for quite some time. I believed in buying products in stores. I knew i could find the products on line cheaper and more convenient. This will be my last time in the store, i hope, after several bad experiences with rude unattentive employees. I have found other sites that has the exact thing that I usually get from Ulta for a lot less money. I found my mascara that I have used for 3 ( that I originally got from Ulta) on 7 other sites on line. Ulta was the 6th highest priced. WOW!!

Their Sebastian hair spray is way over priced. I paid 10.00 less at Sallys. Skin care is also more than Target and Wal-Mart.

Everyone was so nice. Lucas was the best with helping me find the perfect makeup and explaining what the products would do for me that I wanted it was a very good experience. Way better the Sephora in fairveiw!

I love the products they carry but have been extremely disappointed with the customer service. I recently purchased an eyeliner that was broken and when I went to exchange it the girl who greeted me helped me get a different one but said nothing of the fact that I needed the box (I only had the receipt) to exchange it. I then waited in the line that was wrapped around the store (my bad for going the day after Christmas) for 45 minutes only to find out about the box rule. So I went home, found the box and came back. I politely asked if they could help me exchange it without the line but was told they only had two registers open. I do feel like they could have at least let me quickly exchange without waiting AGAIN. Instead I used my time in line to write this :). I won’t be shopping here anymore as this is not my first bad experience.

I love Ulta in general, but this store is great. Its very big, which is great. It even has its own Benefit section, unlike others. I love it.

I had just gotten a haircut at the mall when I came into Ulta to look at some hair care products and makeup. The mall haircut was a wreck, and immediately after leaving I put my hair up in a pony tail. When I walked in the door, I was given a coupon for a haircut. I told the woman about my haircut from hell, and she immediately took me back to the salon to fix me up. She salvaged my hair without making it much shorter and she helped me call the mall store to get a refund for my original cut. The woman was so friendly and helpful, I plan on going back for all my haircuts from now on!

Staff are snobby and only help young people. The items are nice, but way overpriced. Dont bother using the salon as they cant keep stylist for more than a few months and it cost an arm and leg.

My all time favorite store. I have a bit of an ulta addiction but the deals you can get are unbelievable so can you blame me? I buy everything here from makeup, to skin care to hair care. I even get my haircut here! The staff is always nice and helpful and Im never disappointed with the selection! Plus their rewards system and coupons out beats Sephora anyday!
