Furniture max is simply the best! This is the fourth time we had a pleasure working with Moe. He is the main reason we keep going back. Sultan helped me piece some things together for a great total price. He was patient and great at suggesting quality pieces. You can literally come here and furnish your entire home at half the price of Ashley Furniture.

Edit: I was very disappointed to see the response by the store below particularly because it shows they are not addressing my concerns appropriately and are trying to escape liability for their wrongdoings.1. Furniture Max never offered to replace any of the furniture. I still have the floor model that was sold to me as new—no effort to remedy was made.2. I did not bring up the wrinkling or the material of the leather as being a problem. Again—if you read what I wrote, I stated that the same identical imperfections from the floor model appear on the couch I have now. This includes the wrinkling and also discoloration and other manufacturing imperfections. This store sold me the floor model and did not disclose that to me—the evidence is clear. If you want to fix a problem, you have to hear what the customer is saying in the first place. Turning a blind eye and insisting you did not give me the floor model when I have photographic evidence will not suffice.3. Furniture Max has done nothing to address the problem—I am asking for an unconditional refund, and I would be glad to release the floor model your store sold me to be placed back on the floor of your store. This is all I have asked for since the beginning, and this very simple resolution was never offered to me. My particular experience with regards to this living room set was unprofessional, and further unethical given the dishonesty I experienced.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I believe this company has engaged in unethical business practices by selling me a floor model sofa and loveseat while I paid for and requested a brand-new unopened and unused set. After numerous attempts to try to resolve this issue with them directly, we have been unable to find a representative who is honest and who will treat us fairly.After looking at a good number of furniture retail stores, we found a sofa and loveseat set that we liked at Furniture Max. We took pictures to show it to our family and sought opinions. We paid for a brand-new unopened set (in full) and it was delivered on July 22, 2021. Upon receiving the sofa and loveseat, we noticed the exact same imperfections as the store model we had inspected carefully. There were things like the same wear/wrinkle pattern, and slight discoloration, and slight gaps in the exact same places. In fact, we had pointed out the same imperfections (on the floor model) to Bryan when we were in the store, and he said, “this is the nature of leather and anyway we will send you a new set in a package/box. Without a doubt, what was delivered to us was the exact same set that had been on display in their showroom. It was not the brand-new set I contracted with them to buy, and that we paid for.Further, the set arrived fully assembled, there were no tags, labels, boxes, or packaging and the delivery team had trouble properly aligning the sections of the couch which we understood would be fixed by the store.If the ethics of their business dealings were such that they had disclosed to us that they only had the floor model left, we would not have purchased the sofa and loveseat. After several interactions with the salesperson and manager, we were told they would take the sofa and loveseat back, but charge a 25% restocking fee and delivery both ways. Upon further discussion, they indicated they would waive the restocking fee, but charge us delivery fees both ways and provide only store credit.We find this resolution unacceptable as it puts us in a much worse position than we had started with, and further forces us to pay fees for terms we did not agree to. Given their lack of disclosure and unethical business dealings, we believe we are entitled to a full refund, and return of the product. As senior citizens, we trusted Furniture Maxs reputation, but it appears that our trust was misplaced. Buyer Beware!

The store in Falls Church is the absolute worst store in the entire world. The service is so bad I shouldn’t give them a star!!! I placed an order 2 months before I moved in and the day before I moved in, I was informed that they did not have what I paid for. I was told that I would get “temporary furniture” the next day and that furniture never arrived. Nobody from the company informed me and nobody made an effort to assist me. They did not even want to give me a refund. I had to call them to get this disheartening information. Furniture Max in Falls Church is a place I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. If you see the store please keep going and do not waste your time. If I could give them negative stars I would definitely do it.

We are unsatisfied. We bought a living room set and in less then a year, it started to wear out. It is only me and my wife in the house so there is minimal wear. We asked Fred Tate a couple of months ago to address the problem. After numerous attempts to contact the store, no one has called us back. You are taking your chances with this store.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would! It has taken me awhile to leave my honest review because the whole situation made my moving experience a disaster!*Disclaimer* I am a very patient person and I give people multiple chances but Furniture Max almost made me lose my morals. I was moving to the area from NC and I decided to visit the store in person. My in store experience was lovely as Sam was very helpful when it came to helping me find pieces I like.I ended up placing in an order in person for a bed and couch but at the time I did not know which apartment I was going to get so I informed them that I would call later with an address and move in date. They informedme that my pieces would take 4 weeks to come it and I had 5 weeks until my move in date so I figured that would be more than enough time.They WILL NOT let you know if your pieces are delayed. Their communication is terrible! Every time I called I spoke to someone different and they all gave me the run around. They always said they would call me back and never would.I just so happen to call a week before my move in date for an update just to find out my bed was delayed after the person I spoke to exactly two weeks before told me it was on track to be delivered. Here I am moving out of state with no bed or no couch. They told me they would bring me temporary furniture at 3:30pm on a Sunday. At 3:35pm I decided to call for ETA just for them to say “Oh Ms. Davis the driver is sick” not to mention the manager didn’t even know I was scheduled to have a delivery that day because another associate didn’t inform him.IF YOU DECIDE TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE MAKE SURE YOU WRITE DOWN WHO YOU TALK TO, THE DATE YOU TALKED TO THEM, AND THE TIME. Because all they do is lie and give you the run around. Thank God I was able to get a full refund and found some pieces I could get on hand at other local furniture stores and I would appreciate if they don’t even respond to my review as I mentioned I didn’t have anything to sleep on and they cut me off multiple times to say “DON’T YOU HAVE A MATTRESS THOUGH”.Yes I have freaking mattress that I had to sleep on for a week due to you all’s unprofessionalism. I have never in my life experienced anything like this before it was a complete nightmare. There is so much more to this review however it’s already long enough

Mario was great at making himself available before we needed to seek him out, while also giving us enough space to look around without any pressure. The coffee table I bought is beautiful and sturdy, with a very fair price. The staff loaded it into my car with great care and ease. Will definitely start here next time I need a new piece.

Thoroughly enjoyed our shopping experience here. The staff was amazing and amicable as a whole. I can’t remember his name but the sales associate who helped my wife and I was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Our sales clerk Sam was helpful and present without hovering or bothering us. He showed us features of some some of the reclining sofas we were looking at that were not immediately obvious, and answered our questions. Also, we came on a Saturday and we’re able to arrange delivery and setup for our items this coming Wednesday - most stores we visited are on back order with wait times of 6-8 weeks.

I bought three furniture sets from this place last year and had an issue with the dining table a couple of months ago, right before my warranty expired. Gia was VERY helpful and professional from beginning to end, she and the Furniture Max team took care of the issue. These folks provide some high-quality customer service. Bryan did a great job of showing me around and helping me select a couch for my tiny apartment in my price range. I love that they could do delivery in days rather than weeks.

Price is unbeatable. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I explained them my situation that I moved into a new home (completely unfurnished) and was in need of different furnitures. They helped me with the pricing which I really appreciate. I will highly recommend Sam to anyone and everyone. He didn’t push me into buying anything but was there listening attentively to my needs and gave me very reasonable price. I will definitely be going back to the store for future needs.

I was looking for a new living room set and dining set and I stumbled across Furniture Max in Falls Church. Sam was my sale rep was awesome and the rest of the staff extremely friendly. After not buying furniture in about 20yrs, I found out that stores don’t always have everything in stock because of the fabric that you picked has to be done by the manufacturer.. But nonetheless, Furniture Max has some reasonable prices, Thanks Sam and the Furniture Max staff!!

I am posting again because I had a great experience purchasing 2 rugs, a sofa, and a love seat, And returned the next day to purchase 2 living room chairs to complete my living room set. I worked with Ali-the manager, Matt-the salesman, and Tony-sales desk, and all three were outstanding. I paid an additional amount for a five year warranty for all of the pieces of furniture. Matt states that if there is a stain or tear, Max Furniture will fix it or replace it. Excellent service, great quality furniture, and furniture delivery & set-up within 2 days!

Over priced furniture

I visited furniture max while in VA looking for a sofa. I have to say that I really enjoyed shopping at the store. My first time I met Sam was great and showed me around answering all my many questions. I returned a second time to purchase the sofa because of the great customer service and price. I worked with the Manager Moe who was also very friendly and helpful. I have to say I had a very pleasant experience at furniture max because of the excellent customer service I received from all the associates. I would definitely go back and I would recommend the store to anyone looking for furniture and a great customer service experience.

My husband and I really like this place. We bought a lot of things like sofa, bed frame, mattress and rug. We caught Sam, the nice and friendly guy there. Kind staff. Good deals. Not so many items available though

Worst furniture store ever ever ever. They don’t even deserve one star. We purchased many items and 3 items was delivered (two weeks later than what they promised) before Covid-19. I understand that the store had to remaine close for Covid-19, but when they closed the store, we still had many items yet to be delivered. They neither sent us an email, gave a call or text message informing that the store is closed and the items will be delayed. Once the store reopened, they lied to us saying that the item will be delivered but they never did. Every time we called them, they would promise us a date and on that promise date, they would delay the delivery by 2-3 weeks. It’s been 2 months and we still have not received many of our item. They lie to customers and their furniture are of no good quality either. The selection is quite limited and the designs are boring. Overpriced. So so so disappointed. This is the reason small stores like this can never establish a successful image in market as big stores. Spend your money somewhere else

We brought king size bed with fully paid off, unfortunately bed doesn’t fit in our room so we returned and ordered same bed in queen size, we were expecting they gonna return our difference money 😢 or at least store credit,we talked with manager he told us that because of the policy he can’t return the money, now we are regretting purchase from this store, now we’re feeling We donated couple hundred dollars for free to the store . They will not refund you if the furniture does not fit through the door!! Instead they will only offer store credit. It was only one my boyfriend and I liked . I wish I was verbally told there were no refunds . I wished they assisted with balcony lifts

Walked in here randomly during their grand opening and walked out with a modern, high quality, great value coffee table, dining table and chairs. Great furniture at reasonable prices - not that much variety though.

I purshased furniture for my apartment 1.5 year back. Sad to share my dining chair broke, my bed we’re all scratched during time of delivery, my dresser handles broke when I called them a guy showed up changed the chair for dining table and will be back with other replacements but never showed up till today!!! And when I call the store they always have standard reason, promise me to call back and sort it out but I never got call from them!!! They are worst!!

It’s very rare to run into personnel working in furniture stores who have exceptional customer service skills. Everyone is always so pushy trying to make a sell. But Mr. Moe and Mr. Mario were very polite, calm and professional.I really felt comfortable shopping there at the Seven Corners store.Thank God for Facebook. I was playing around on my Facebook page and I came across the Furniture Max Facebook site and decided to visit.Best furniture I’ve seen in the Northern Virginia area.
