Had a good experience with project manager Matt and the crew (Sabri, Mike, Franik) and would recommend them. They were responsive to my concerns and made sure everything was the way I wanted in the end. They took the asbestos situation in my apartment seriously and were very helpful in hiring an additional company for abatement. Everything looks great!
I am so glad I chose these people. From my first contact with them through to completion of the remodel of two bathrooms, they were great to work with. Matt was effective as the project manager and made sure that everything turned out the way I wanted. A few problems came up and he handled them very professionally. His crew (Frank, Alejandro and Alex) were very tidy and protected my floors.I love the result and highly recommend Potomac Bath and lotchrn
DO NOT hire this company if you want to remodel your home.I signed up for Kitchen and bath remodeling in May, 2021.Both projects were not delivered as in the design on paper, and when reached out to the project manager or owner/sales agent, they would not follow up or fix the issue.Example #1: Design to include glass door for shower. They installed glass door for tub. When complained that water flows out from top of the glass door as it is short height meant for tub, project manager would insist this is the correct glass door. (see picture)Example #2: Design to include tip off tray and sliding waste baskets under the sink. They installed none. When asked the reason was both could not be installed with the newly installed sink. No answer yet, when asked why was this not communicated to me so we could have discussed installing a different sink/layout.Example #3: Design to include motion-sensor kitchen sink faucet. Incorrect installation. When reached out, I was told to call the customer service. When I called they looked at pictures and confirmed incorrect install. Correction was made which failed the next day. Its been several weeks reaching out to them but they do not respond.Example #4: Design included shower drain rectangular. Delivered was square shaped which turned rusting within first week. Reason given was rectangular drains are not good. They did replace the square drain.Example #5: Design included kitchen cabinets soft door. When testing, found out soft-door was not functioning for one drawer. Reason given was you have to push it hard when closing, where I showed it to them the others did not required a hard push. Still no response.Example #6: Design included new sink. Found out after a week of usage that it started to develop rust marks all around. I was asked to contact Kraus customer service which in return told me to provide order number in case replacement is desired. Reached back to owner/sales agent and its been several weeks now and have no response.Example #7: Project included that they will cover my appliances during the replacement of kitchen cabinets. Found out they continue to work without covering any appliances during the whole project. (see picture)Conclusion:- If you have hard earned money and want to spend on remodeling your home to your own design/expectations, please DO NOT hire this company.- Their workers are not skilled to do the job.-They will not respond to your calls/emails, and are bold enough to tell you on your face that they have 15+ customers and they will reach back to you when they can.-The signed contract says any defects, they will provide service or assistance. Its been several weeks, over 2 months now, no resolution or return of phone calls/emails is provided.- If a small size company is providing services like this, it clearly indicates they are focused on signing up customers, dont want to pay to hire qualified workers to include project managers. Their focus is not quality or customer service.Customer,Falls Church, Virginia
Highly recommend Potomac Kitchen and Bath for any remodeling project! Their quote was only slightly under the others we received from, but it was Sean’s communication that really sold us. We were discouraged by the no-shows and delayed follow ups from so many other contractors that this was a breath of fresh air. Sean was great in helping us pick out our materials and flexible in designing our bathroom to better fit our vision.Wilson was the true rockstar of the project and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. Matt was also wonderful about keeping us updated and answering our questions. Like a previous review, there were times when they were inconsistent about working on a set schedule, which only affected us because of our dog being out and my husband working at nights needing to sleep in the basement. The quality of their work though was truly impressive and we will be sure to use them again when we’re ready for another remodeling project!
We just finished a complete small kitchen remodel with Potomac. They provide a genuine value in professionalism, experience, and responsiveness. It’s not easy in this period of supply chain delays. Potomac and especially our project manager, Ahmad Harb, kept things on track despite delays from our appliance dealer. We were grateful for their expertise and their obvious commitment to customer satisfaction.
Its not easy to work in COVID times, but Matt and Jhony adapted well and made our kitchen renovation a success. Everyone in their crew was professional and good, patient craftsmen. We now have at least 50 percent more storage space in our small condo kitchen. The floors look amazing; the backsplash tiling is beautiful. We LOVE the bright strong inset lighting. It feels like a whole new place. Kudos to Kevin, who led the design work. Were going to love this new space, and if we ever sell, the kitchen will be the crown jewel. We kicked off the project after Thanksgiving and it was done a week before Christmas. Thats a great gift right there. Weve gone from 1990s vintage everything to a modern, functional, sturdy kitchen we are proud of. Thanks, guys!!
We had a fantastic experience with Potomac Kitchen and Bath Remodeling. We had to do a full gut on our kitchen and they wasted no time. They worked hard and very fast. Any issues were quickly and easily resolved. They werent great about communicating when the workmen would be there but our entire kitchen was done in 3 weeks and we are thrilled with the results.
I had a great experience with Potomac Kitchen and Bath. Sean worked with me during sales, contracting, and selecting materials to meet my budget. He was punctual and honest with me. The materials were also high quality. Matt was the project manager who reached out right away to get us started. Matt is organized and visited throughout the project to make sure everything was going as I was expecting. Matt did his best to liaise between the company and the contractor to make sure my bathroom was done on time. Rodrigo, the head contractor, was awesome; his work and remodel advice were top quality. I do feel that Potomac Kitchen and Bath did their best and I am happy with the bathroom remodel. My reason for taking a star is because sometimes the contractor would arrive unexpectedly, or they would not show up when we thought they would come. I do not blame Potomac Kitchen for this because that is not within their control, but it was very inconvenient for me to accommodate the contractors at a moments notice. My advice to the customer is to set very clear boundaries on when the contractor can or cannot arrive so there are no surprises.Overall, I would feel comfortable hiring Potomac Kitchen and Bath again in the future. Thank you for your great work.
We hired Potomac Kitchen and Bath to remodel our kitchen, living room, and floors throughout the house. We could not be happier with the end result. Matt was the project manager and helped us out every step of the way. He was always available for any questions or concerns we had (even at night and on the weekends). The construction crew of Franik, Alehandro, Mike and Alex worked their tails off to get this project done. This was the first time we took on a project like this at our house and the whole team worked with us and made sure everything was done exactly how we wanted it. We have a master bathroom that is next on the list and we will not look anywhere else. We would work with Potomac Kitchen and Bath again and recommend this company to anyone.
We just had our kitchen remodeled and Potomac Kitchen and Bath did an amazing job! Our project manager Matt was a total pro and offered the calming reassurance that this nervous nelly required. The crew (Jhonny, Omer and Victor) was amazing! They were super efficient and really produced quality work. There was a hiccup with our dish washer install but Matt was quick to provide reassurance of addressing it after the project was finished. I would recommend Potomac for anyone considering a remodeling project!
Potomac kitchen and bath helped remodel our master bathroom. It was a complete remodel of breaking down a wall and a wardrobe and expanding the space. Also involved adding an exhaust fan, converting the tub into a shower and brand new everything - tiles, vanity, etc. They did a great job from the get go. The bathroom looks amazing, very professionally done and on schedule of 6 weeks. Alehandro and Carlos were very professional and provided excellent craftmanship. Matt, the project manager, always checked in with us. All in all highly recommend them for your remodel projects.
I LOVE my new kitchen! From start to finish, the PK&B team worked with me in a cooperative and highly professional manner. Project costs were fair and reasonable (thousands less than one competitor). Sean, Mustafa, and Matt coordinated with me on every aspect of the project until I was completely satisfied. The crew -- except for one individual -- delivered high quality workmanship and took serious care with prep and clean-up. The work of the exceptional crew member was satisfactorily corrected. (I believe he is no longer with the company.) I recommend PK&B without reservation.
We would absolutely hire Potomac Kitchen and Bath (PK&B) again. Kevin helped us design our dream kitchen offering to add features we hadn’t thought of and now have come to really love! This was our first renovation and we did the entire kitchen and flooring. PK&B went above and beyond. We were not in town for the Reno and our project manager Matt kept us in the loop 24/7. He FaceTimed us so we could see the progress, always communicated frequently, and never left us feeling like we weren’t involved. The kitchen looks STUNNING. True craftsmanship through and through. Stop considering hiring them, and do it. You won’t regret it.
The Potomac Kitchen and Bath team did a fantastic job transforming our small outdated kitchen and Sean’s design more than doubled the useable space. The project manager Matt made sure everything was exactly as we wished. The remodel crew, Cesar and Amado, can absolutely be trusted to get the job done correctly and on time.
Had a horrible experience with Potomac Kitchen and Bath for a possible bathroom remodel, first the design consultant (E. Szlavin) was 30 minutes late, without calling or notification of tardiness. Upon arrival we went into the bathroom so she could take a look at it. Within 30 seconds she asked me what was my budget and said I just dont want to waste your time, I was a bit taken back by this because Ive had 3 other consultants come to assess my bathroom for a remodel, where they would give me a quote the next day or maybe the evening. Im African American and I hope her assumption that I cant afford to pay for a bathroom remodel was not based upon the color of my skin, because I dont have the ability to know whats in the heart and minds of people. But I thought it was peculiar, because the other consultants that have come before her asked me more generalized questions such as tile preferences, and desired vanities. Anyway, between her being late and her classless question, I would not recommend this business.
Potomac Kitchen and Bath built us a brand new beautiful bathroom! During the design phase Sean patiently guided us through a selection of numerous options for tiles, fixtures and accessories. We were impressed by the amount of options the company provided. Matt, the project manager, directed his crew through each remodeling phase from demolition to completion. Matt also consulted us throughout the process and welcomed our questions and concerns. The crew proved to be excellent craftsmen, polite, and thoroughly cleaned the work site and surrounding areas daily. Thank you!
Sean and his team did a fantastic job remodeling my kitchen. He and his team transformed it from a untouched-since-the-70s food closet to a cozy-meets-modern cooking facility. The team was very patient and flexible with my incredibly demanding schedule and were always responsive. The design and planning process was meticulous and flawless. I was very impressed with the entire project and will absolutely be working with them again for all future remodeling needs. Thank you, Sean!
I worked with Sean, Matt and Mustafa for two bathroom remodels; Sean on design, Mustafa on price; and Matt as the project manager. This company respected the fact that I had limited funds to work with and came in with a BEAUTIFUL product within my budget. They were the first to respond to my requests for an estimate, kept the lines of communication open, were consistent and timely in delivery, and Matt was on-site repeatedly to ensure everything was progressing correctly and to my satisfaction. They even worked with me when I had to leave for a week, without issue, and even kept an eye out for my cat! We have a third bathroom that needs attention and we will call Mustafa and his team to complete that project for us as well.
Potomac Kitchen & Bath (PKB) was very professional, polite, and we would (and plan to) use them again in the future. Sean was fantastic and the entire reason we went with the PKB team. He coached us through the design of our remodel giving us time to deliberate while offering his insight and experience where he saw that it was needed. Matt was a true gentleman and led the construction team well. They both made a stressful process/experience so much easier.A few pieces of advice to anyone using PKB in the future:1) When you sign your contract, make sure that the designer and the project manager are both there. There is a clear disconnect between these two phases of the process that cost us unplanned time and money.2) When you sign your contract make sure to get a detailed schedule and the likely risks that could make the schedule slip to the right. Our project took twice as long as they quoted in the contract. Workers would show up one day and then not for days with no communication of what was going on.3) Make your final payment a non-trivial percentage in the contract. The details are a big deal and at the end or project many details were not finished. We had no weight to debate or hold them to the tasks because the final 2% is negligible to PKB.Again, these are just pieces of advice to help you with your project. We highly recommend PKB. Everyone in their team was a joy to work with and we plan to use them again in the future. Happy remodeling!
We are very happy with our master bathroom remodel done by Potomac Kitchen and Bath! From the onset, we were impressed with the overall attention to detail and time invested to meet our needs. Jem, our designer, spent a lot of time listening to our “wish list” and gathering all the accurate measurements to present a detailed quote for us. He had such great ideas customized for us and we easily made the decision to move forward with the project that day! Once the project began, we were impressed with the coordination of the team of professionals that would be here each day. Matt, our project leader, did a wonderful job of communicating to us when installers would arrive and what to expect. (We have three cats so we really appreciated the notice and respect for our home environment.) The final outcome is great…our relatively small bathroom feels spacious with plenty of storage! We would enthusiastically recommend Potomac Kitchen and Bath to our friends and colleagues! Stacy and Bill S.
It was a pleasure to work with Moustafa. He was extremely pleasant and listened to my changes and was very helpful. Jose and the crew were outstanding. They covered everything and did a wonderful job of matching all the tile. They worked many long hours and were very considerate of our schedules. We would strongly recommend Potomac Kitchens and will be using them for another project!
Mustafa and his crew did an amazing job with my kitchen remodel. They were able to take an angled kitchen island and make it straight by moving the plumbing around. There was good communication throughout the entire process and they always kept the work area clean. I’ll definitely be using them again.
Kevin did a great job designing my bathroom remodel and Matthew did a fantastic job making sure work was done perfectly and that I was happy.I would and have recommended their services to my neighbors and friends.
We were very happy with our quest bathroom remodel done by Potomac kitchen and bath. From the beginning. Jem, our designer, spent a considerable amount of time listening to our needs and did a considerable amount of research to present us with options in style and cost. The time he put in to selecting materials, fixtures, the detail in matching colors and tiles, and the costs was far beyond what I have experienced in pervious projects and he really genuinely cared about getting us what we wanted for the right price. With such great ideas that were customized for our needs, it was a very easy decision for us to sign the contract and get the project started.Once the project began, we were impressed with the coordination of team of professionals that would be here each day. Like Matt, our project leader, did a wonderful job of communicating with us, letting us know when and what type of work was going to be done each day, and if there was going to be a delay he was very quick in explaining the reason (as a note, on past projects, other contractors did not provide this kind of communication, leaving days of wondering what happened). Matt also had an eye for detail, always inspecting the work each day and insured it was being done right (I also did the same thing, but Matt found things I did not notice and had them corrected). Jem showed up occasionally to ensure that all the design elements were being adhered to (he spent an afternoon with the tile installer insuring the shower wall tiles were book matched correctly). Then there was Johnny and Manuel who did most of the installation, always showed up on time, always cleaned up at the end of each day, and their workmanship was terrific. Johnny just didn’t do his job he was very sensitive to detail and ensuring the work would last, his attention to detail gave me confidence that I would have no problems with the installation for years to come (as a note, past projects I had to have some of the work redone to fix small problems with the install that resulted in the installer not paying attention to details or taking short cuts). And last, Jaime, who delivered everything Johnny and Manuel needed to complete the job on time as well as picking up the trash so it did not build up in the garage. The final outcome is great, are relatively small bathroom feels spacious with plenty of storage. We would enthusiastically recommend Potomac kitchen bath to friends, colleagues, and everyone! These guys are true professionals and they take great pride in their work and and results show it!Jeff & Luz
My best friend bought his complete kitchen cabinets from Mustafa in the past and I installed them for my friend. I was very pleased with the quality in the workmanship of the cabinets and the price was the biggest factor for my friends budget. I have recommended Potomac Kitchen & Bath Remodeling to a Neighbor and he was very pleased with his cabinets and price. I am in the process of ordering cabinets for my current remodeling project from them.
We greatly enjoyed working with Potomac Kithens. Our bathrooms and basement look wonderful. They were professional to work with and listened to our preferences when completing the job. They worked through some issues that popped up professionally and in a timely manor. I would highly recommend their services.
We were very happy to find this shop, where we were able to get everything we needed for our bathroom renovation. Mustafa is very professional and knowledgeable about the products in his shop. He gave us good advice when choosing products and worked with us to resolve all problems that we ran into during the renovation project. Everything was delivered on time and we felt the furniture and other products were good value for the money.
Potomac Kitchen & Bath (PK&B) were engaged to renovate our kitchen and two bathrooms within a tight budget and period. They delivered on that to our utter satisfaction from the standpoints of professionalism, competence, professionalism, respectfulness, and flexibility in cases where some changes needed to be made at the last minute. I unreservedly recommend them to other customers.
Thank you so much for your nice job on doing our kitchen. Mustafa is very understanding on the needs and satisfaction of his client. We had a very hard time matching the color of our wood floor in our kitchen, but he goes above and beyond to find the match so we won’t spend a lot of money to change the whole wood floor. Our kitchen looks beautiful, elegant and it has gotten a lot of good comments when friends come to visit. Thanks to you Mustafa and also to your hard working gangs. We are very happy with our kitchen .Thanks,Al Corbin
Mustafa and his team did a stellar job on our kitchen remodeling. The finished job is absolutely beautiful. Our kitchen was closed in and dark. With a reasonable budget, Mustafa gave us a model kitchen. When we had questions or concerns, he was always a gentleman and professional. He always listened and made going forward easy. The finish work is superior. I wish I had another kitchen for him to do! I highly recommend him.
Good concept overall, poor attention to detail. I was excited to start the project of renovating my kitchen and the team seemed well prepared. The renovation started off well, although I felt a little in the dark as to what the final product would look like as all I was shown of the final design was a plan drawing. Additionally, the pre-reno kick-off meeting was deeemd unnecessary for some reason. If I had more details at the beginning it would have prevented many of the issues later on, like miscommunication about the height of the cabinets. These things early on would have greatly helped me know what was going on and the work process of the team.Towards the end of my project, I could not get in touch with the project manager for over a week and then someone I had never met took over as project manager. Many items were missed in the last stages that I had to repeatedly bring up to make sure they were corrected and updated in line with our contract. The best part of the whole renovation was coming home to a sticky, wet floor that had been sealed on a Friday afternoon and being told not to walk on it all weekend- with no prior notice.Personally I would prefer a project to be done well and take a little extra time than rushed and finished quickly. I do not plan to use Potomac for future projects.
My experience with Potomac Kitchen & Bath Remodeling was nothing short of excellent. All businesses will offer you their services, but not all offer their kindness, empathy, and above and beyond gestures like Potomac Kitchen provided us.My parents were struggling with a renovation from hell which lasted long past the intended project deadline. With our project stuck at a critical junction, we were referred to Potomac Kitchen & Bath with the expectation they would work with us to find a solution. They absolutely delivered.Mustafa is a fantastic guy and makes the process very easy, he communicates promptly and makes sure you are aware of all components of your contract, as well as the timeline for your renovation. His men are respectful, clean, and represent the company well with their professionalism. For many who feel anxious working with contractors, Mustafa and the guys at Potomac Kitchen will treat you like family, and that attitude will go a long way in the ease and convenience of your renovation with them.I cannot recommend them highly enough, and they have certainly earned my business for the future.
Potomac Kitchen and bath just remodel my kitchen and Im pleased with the outcome. The one of the things I liked about this Company is the quick response time and their willingness to work me and listen to my concerns as the customer.
Wonderful people, really responsible and well manner. Provided a great after care and take care matters professionally. Renovated my two bathrooms and I would recommend them for my friends.
My experience with Potomac kitchen was outstanding! They remodeled my two bathrooms and painted my entire house in a very timely fashion which helped me sell my property fast even though it was during the slow season. Thank you Mustafa!
I learned of Mustafa through google reviews after I had searched for a few months. Mustafa did an outstanding work for our condo. The house was built in 1940’s but with his guidance, advise in selecting modern items; it’s unbelievable to believe the product after the renovation. The paint, electricity wires, fixtures, etc all look amazing!!!!I found Mustafa consistently diligent, responsible and easy to work with. He met all deadlines, stayed within the budget, supervised the work and is indeed fantastic at his job. Oh oh we are super excited about our new looks! I would use him again. Thank you Mustafa. Carol & Lukiah
We had great experience with Potomac Kitchen & Bath for our complete Kitchen remodel project. Mustafa is very professional and helped us with deciding our new lay-out and other ideas. I would recommend them for any Kitchen/Bath project.
Mustafa & his team did a wonderful job renovating my small kitchen. There were no run arounds, he addressed all my questions and concerns immediately, and the entire process was painless not to mention very competitive pricing! I have already decided to use them again for my bathroom renovation in a couple months!
Great job on my kitchen. Very happy. Mustafa and his team are easy to work with. Would recommend.
Great job on our master bathroom and kitchen remodeling!
Very professional, most willing to work with you, great value, delivered on time and on budget. The shower and bath are everything we wanted. Most highly recommended.
Mustafa did a great job in my kitchen and bathroom.
Very happy with the end result. Thank you!
