They dont have many options but they do have a few gluten-free desserts and that just in itself made my day. The coffee is flavorful and you will not be disappointed. The restaurant itself is beautiful, well-kept, and clean. However the desserts are quite pricey in my opinion.

As soon as I walked in, it was very busy so it must be good. I ordered 4 cupcakes, $4.50 per cupcake. I got Tres Leches, Sea Salt Caramel, Red Velvet, and Pumpkin. The icing was creamy and smooth, the cake was sweet and delicious. Customer service is great as well. The employees are as sweet as the cupcakes!

This place is typically nice... great cakes and cupcakes but this lady (looked like owners wife maybe) couldnt be bothered... we got a little Happy Birthday(Pick a name) made here in the past but today they couldnt be bothered.. youd think for a 8in $50 cake they could make it (They made for my wife when she got my sons cake in August and my cake earlier this month. Also usally get a dozen cupcakes so typically easily a $100+ visit but whatever...Im mad I even got the stupid cake my wife just wanted for my daughter. 👍🏽✌🏽 def last time spending hereDrove from lake ridge😔

Just discovered this place through a friend and absolutely fell in love! Theyve got such delicious looking cupcakes and pastries. And the atmosphere is totally cozy. Great for little hangouts with friends for study dates or just to sit and chat. It was nice to come here for dessert and enjoy some sweets with a nice hot cup of tea. I will definitely be coming back for more. Theres still so many cakes k have yet to try!

Holy smokes y’all. This cafe is where your inner fat kid’s dreams come true. They don’t just make pastries - they have a true craft in what they do here. Xpo is a beautiful thing and quite amazing.

Delicious pastries with french and middle eastern influence. I particularly like the thyme croissants although they often run out of them pretty early in the day. Eclairs are good, and so are the cupcakes and little almond cookies. Great place, will go back soon!

We ordered a ten inch white forest birthday cake, which was perfect for 12 people. It was light, delicious, and not overly sweet. Would definitely recommend this bakery!

This is my favorite place to get desserts at Mosaic district. Typically, we get cupcakes here but this time we decided to try their other items. I opted for the tiramisu and friends ordered the carrot cake, pear chocolate espresso and the pistachio date cookies. We decided to eat our desserts here since we couldnt wait to try them. We shared our pieces with each other so we can try the other ones we havent tasted yet.I have had the tiramisu before and its as good as I remember it. Not too sweet, not too strong- just enough amount of sweetness and just melts in your mouth. I also enjoyed the carrot cake. It was very tasty and had lots of nuts and raisins that just go together well. The icing was a nice cream cheese icing that wasnt too sweet. I wasnt a huge fan of the pear chocolate espresso pie- it wasnt that good. I think it was the least liked. The cookies- they were spectacular! I love the way it melts in your mouth and when you get a bite of everything together- the pistachio, the dates and the sugar cookie its so different but really good! Cant wait to try something else next time!

A small patisserie in the Mosaic district,and I have visited it a few times in the past year to satisfy my sweet cravings.Quite a lot of varieties and I have always ordered carry out as I definitely cant finish one pastry in a single go.Black Forest and the trio chocolate terrine are a couple of our favourites.One star less for the pricing which is higher even for the Mosaic district standards.

This place is my new favorite dessert joint in all of nova. 5 stars for taste and variety of desserts, 5 stars for ambiance, 5 stars for location, 5 stars for gluten free, and another 5 stars for making my husband a delicious decaf espresso to go with dessert. Id give 6 stars for decadence if it was possible. We paid $20 for two drinks and two desserts, and it was the perfect way to end an evening in Mosaic.

Its been a long time since I visited this place. It is a very nice, clean and sleek place. The number of cheesecakes and cakes is a lot. Tea and coffee is great. A lot of space to sit around and spend time. Huge Target parking available just across the street. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The pricing is a little bit expensive compared to similar businesses. But the place is worth it. Recommended for anyone looking to have great experience and amazing cheesecake.

Superb Illy espresso and espresso based coffees! Their portions fr coffee is ‘European’ and reasonably sized, not 16 fl oz of coffee!They have a really large selection of pastries, cakes and other sweet treats in a cozy and warm setting. They also do cakes by order.

Very delicious cakes and pastries here. Always crowded but is so worth it. Be careful with some cakes theyre made with alcohol so if you wont consume alcohol just ask which ones are alcohol free (all the super delicious looking ones have alcohol 😢 wish they could make them alcohol free)

I ONLY come here for the vanilla cupcakes! I stopped working in Fairfax atleast 3 years and I still drive all the way just for the vanilla cupcakes! The staff are always nice and helpful which makes coming back a delight. So far I havent found another vanilla cupcake that can beat theirs. My only complaint is that I hate sprinkles and I have to scrape them off before eating...but I dont mind...its delicious!

We got few cups cakes, 1 napoleon and 1 cheesecake berry slice all delicious. The napoleon is comparable with the ones I was getting in high end Paticery in Europe. Totally worth all the calories I will need to burn .

Pastry galore with lots of decadent sweet treats - try the Chocolate Pear tart!While the Expresso Truffle Souffle was oozing with rich molten ganache, the pear tart was more balanced as the fruit paired well with the decadent chocolate and shortbread crust.Most of the pastries are made daily, some are fresher than others. It can be a bit overwhelming to choose! The portions are small but big enough to share with someone - but not enough for a group.

My husband and I stumbled upon this pastry shop and never looked back. It is out go to place. We did our first baby outing there to get cupcakes after our son was born. Sadly, weve moved, so it is no longer as close, but we still make the drive to commemorate special occasions. The hardest things is always picking what to get and we often end up with 3 things to share

This is my first time ordering individual pastries at Pastry Xpo. From patronizing Laduree and Pastries By Randolph on the regular basis, I am very impressed and can honestly say that Pastry Xpo pastries are on par with Laduree and far more superior than other premier pastry shops in the Northern Virginia and DC area. The flavor of their pastries are balance (meaning that it is not too sweet or bland and creamy and complex enough to bring everything together). Thank you.

I will start by saying that I will give this place another chance. The front door was partially blocked by outside seating, the pastries looked delicious - counter workers and customers alike were disorganized. The kid behind the counter gave me a 16 oz blended cappucino disguised as a cup full of foam running over the rim, making a mess. The pastries were bland in taste and far from decadent. In fact, the brownie had hardly a hint of chocolate flavor.

Nice place...made it a bit late so the selection wasnt huge but they had cupcakes. Tried the honey bee...simple vanilla cake...and it was really yummy. Have a chocolate one saved for later. Looking forward to going back.

They have there front door open and its near impossible to walk by without looking in. But if you do its a trap. Lol you go inside and that is it. Youll be buying something. Let me tell you that everything taste so freaking good. OMG. Ive been on a strict diet and Ive broken it. So darn good. Lol

The sweets here are beautiful and delicious. Lovely cakes, cookies, tarts, pastries and cupcakes. We also enjoy the tasty breakfast wraps. Our pre-pandemic complaint was the eliminatuon of the one coffee refill, but now we cant dine in anyway.

Delicious pastries and great service! I was hosting an Open House for some clients & chose to visit the bakery/café to pick up some sweet treats for my event. I highly recommend the Raspberry Jewel cookies (made with a mix of almond and wheat flours, raspberry jam center and pecans on the side), as well as the Pecan Bar (made with a sweet crust, vanilla custard, pecans, chocolate, finished with a honey glaze). They also have a breakfast menu (breakfast pastries of all sorts, an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, French quiches, soups, salads and more! Pastry Xpo has it all and is sure to not disappoint.

Great spot to chill. Coffee is good. Pastries are great. Little pricy but this is NoVA. So par for the course.

Such a cute pastry shop! They had anything I could think of and more, I cant imagine anyone coming here and not finding something they want. The staff was great as well. A little cramped, but thats to be expected in Mosaic (and all of the seats were full, we were lucky to get a couple).

The prices have increased significantly since my first visit here several years ago and, while they are good, I sometimes wonder if theyre actually worth the cost. This is a great place to get good coffee, amazing cupcakes (best in the area), and tasty Lebanese/French café type food (think shakshuka, tabbouleh, quiche, croissant). Ive been going to this place for years and Ive never had anything that wasnt delicious.

Love this place! Ive only ever gotten their cupcakes but its one of the best Ive had. A liiiittle pricey for the size, but the flavor is excellent and not crazy sweet. I usually scrape off 80% of the frosting with most cupcakes, but I never do with these because theyre light and doesnt taste like Im straight up eating a stick of butter lol.My go to flavors are the lemon meringue, oreo, vanilla, and sea salt caramel. I live 20 minutes away from the shop but its worth the drive.
