The staff are always friendly but seems management keeps deciding to double down on self serve registers. There will be 5 staff watching people check out self serve while one person works the normal cashier with a line to the back of the store.I was a regular here for years and always hoped the problem got better but it keeps getting worse and worse. I will be going to a different location going forward.

The worst Kingsport ever there’s never a person to help you out in this checkout…. you have to do it yourself And if you one of those persons to do the monthly grocery shopping because you don’t like to go grocery shopping so well this is not a king Soopers to go you have to do it all by her self including self checkout . There’s almost never any carts for customers. The store has boxes everywhere that make it difficult to navigate. I let two employees pass me in the store and neither one said thank you. So many items out of stock that I easily found at Walmart.Y’all need to do better. This store is laughable.

This store is closest to me and is the only reason I shop here. The small busy parking lot does not have enough cart corrals so baskets are usually all over. The meat section is terrible and I often dont buy meat here because there is either none in stock or what is there is not what Im looking for. Good luck finding a real steak. Shelves in general are often in need of better stocking. The worst part are the long lines and inaccuracy of the checkers here. PAY ATTENTION I have been overcharged on several occasions.

Have been going here for about a year and this is the third time my food has spoiled in less than 3 days. Bought Strawberries on Sunday and just had to throw them out due to mold. Went to grab some tomatoes from the bin in the store, picked one up and notice fruit flies all over the tomatoes. We bought ricotta for a dinner we were cooking that night and opened it up to find mold under the seal (way before expiration date). It seems a lot of the produce is not very fresh and is on the brink of going spoiled (Be careful!).Self checkout line is always very long. They have 2 self checkout areas but they usually only keep one open. There are usually barely any carts. Everytime I go to the normal checkout I have to end up bagging my own groceries. Not a huge deal, but seriously every time?

To anyone who reads this. Do a side by side comparison of the highest, and lowest reviews. Youll quickly see that the highest reviews are mostly a year old, or older. Whereas, the lowest reviews are more recent. Res ipsa loquitur (m/s). My sales associate today was Eathan F. I was at King Soopers at 11:20am. They were very busy!! And short handed. I had to go out into the parking lot, to find my own cart. Eathan F., had to cash me out and bagged the groceries too. Props to him for doing what it takes to get the job done!! However, the guy who was attending the self checkout line. Took it upon himself to come over and help bag my groceries. His posture was insolent and sarcastic. He was very destructive to my groceries as he bagged them. I was tempted to call him out on his passive-aggessive disrespectful behavior. I had to remind myself that someone had to act like the adult in this situation.

Havent been in almost a year went the other day - will NOT be going back. Ill drive further. Its in bad shape overall. They also told my 97 year old father that they will no longer have cashiers so he needs to learn how to use the self check out. He will NOT go back.

@ 2:30 pm on July 27, 2021,the young lady ? ...working the U-Scan registers went ballistic on my wife and I. Ive been shopping at this store since it opened and NEVER have I been attacked like This ! Shes a bigger size Black girl that might be very stressed and blaming the Customers. I chose to contact my store rather than Corporate.

Spent 20 minutes waiting for help at the self checkout with a huge line building, several months ago. After 20 minutes I just left.

A bit crowded but overall a nice experience.

When are they going to remodel the restrooms they have stayed the same since it was built and the toilets in the mens room are literally falling off the wall. Nothing against king soopers as a whole. But this location in particular (84th and Pecos) is HORRIBLE. It seriously feels like a different company than the rest of their locations. Kroger needs to come clean house at this place because it really is ruining their brand.

The Pharmacy staff is absolutely amazing here. They take the time to help us find the best prices for my boyfriends very expensive medication for hus type 1 diabetes. They are friendly and always go above and beyond. Its really nice to deal with people who genuinely care and do their best to help. I really appreciate their team. My favorite pharmacy ever.

Ive shopped here for 25 years. Theyre staying stocked better than the Wal-Marts we frequent lately. Pharmacy is holding back on prescriptions. You can only get 1 month at a time now. Staff is holding up well considering the plastic walls and masks.

Store no longer seems to be taking any measures with mask enforcement. Ive seen so many people here with either incorrectly worn masks, and on my most recent trip, many customers in the store with no mask at all.The issue with customers is one thing, but I also encountered an employee in the meat section with no mask on, and multiple employees wearing masks under the nose or chin.Im not okay with this given the ongoing pandemic. Ill vote with my wallet and will not be shopping here any time in the near future. Its sad to me when a place like Walmart is handling things better.

You guys have the worse customer service at the deli counter I come up to get some ham and cheese and they act like you are bothering them by asking for it!

This place is gross. You should definitely wear a mask and sanitize your hands after shopping here as Im sure theyre spreading covid. Bring your own sanitizer though, they dont have any. Their carts are all broken down. The meat is starting to rot. They never have enough people on check out; long lines, you have to bag your own items. Consider going to 104th or Walmart. This store sucks.

The absolute BEST floral items!!! The pharmacy is friendly and provides flu vaccinations with care, detail and expertise. It would be nice if they could take back expired and/or unused prescription and over the counter products. The cashiers, deli and customer service staff are always helpful and kind. My bought this yesterday gold medal all purpose flour it says enriched*bleached presifted.we only ate once yesterday we bought everything from use we made chili and Ive never used this before are stomach is cramping where vomiting we got diarrhea and were both burping constantly and theres a really horrible smell with it smells like rotten egg Im going to be going to the doctor today but I truly believe this is the product that may have got a sick

Not a safe spot to shop! Signs posted all over mandatory to wear a mask! Walking threw the store I notice close to half the customers in the store not wearing masks. Counted 6 employees with masks pull under there chin. 104th and federal Kings Scoopers is a much much better place to shop and be safe.

I have shopped at this store for over 30 years and liked it until now. I had an issue at this store and contacted them. It has been over a month and I have met some very rude mangers and been subject to various acquisitions. When I contact the store again, it is like they do not read the emails. I have tried to call the company at the number in the email and it is a terminal hold. I even had one manager tell me that they did not recognize that number and did not believe it was theirs. I was asked to go to the store to fill out an incident report that 3 very rude managers had never heard of. I am sorry to say, this store has given me the impression that they just do not care about the customer or at least the managers and office staff I have been in contact with. This store has changed, and not for the better.

You all really need to get a handle on the beggars and solicitors that plague your parking lot. I had one rude and aggressive bothering me after the other.

I could walk in and buy the meat (like ground beef) they refuse to fulfill on pickup orders and they like to ad random groceries to my order too even though I ask for no substitutions. Are all king soopers like this?

The stores could care less about your safety or your health they just want money they only care about money The masks are not for your safety, but for them to make money.

Bought some discounted hamburger buns. Took them home and they were moldy inside. Called to try to get a hold of the store manager and the lady took my number and said the manager would call me in the morning. I never got a phone call so i went in personally to talk to someone. Took them 15 minutes to see me and it was a head clerk. The manager was too busy. This store is negligent and constantly dirty. Shopping elsewhere FOREVER

Standing in line at the service desk for 10 minutes already, line hasnt moved. So I call the store manager and they say theres nothing they can do there understaffed... but yet you have people handing out cookies and donuts for the long wait. Sorry excuse for a staff that is meant to work with people for a living.

The pharmacy dept is amazing. Always courteous, always tries to get me the best price, friendly and super happy. I wish I had been going here all along! The staff are always fast and accommodate me no matter what. They need pay rises!

I go here 2-3 times a week as its right next door, and Ive never had a bad experience. Its a grocery store. Staff is helpful. Selection is decent. Enough check lines are usually open except at peak times. No complaints, which in todays day and age, is above average.

Any day of the week, but mainly Fridays (the busiest day of the week) plan on spending 30minutes- 1 hour and 30 minutes in the customer service line. They only schedule one employee to work in customer service on Fridays. Self check out is an absolute joke. The line starts on isle 11, your lucky if the line ends at the bottom of isle 11. Quite a few times the end of the line wraps around the next isle.

For the most part, this store is really amazing, and the employees are helpful and make you feel like family. I have to use the mart carts because of leg injuries in a car accident, so sometimes there is not one available. But the employees see me and know what I need (because Im a regular there.) Some of them will go out to the parking lot and look for one for me, others will walk the store to see if they can spot somebody whos ready to check out and there will be one available. Theyre all so good to me! God bless them!

Yesterday I needed a prescription filled and went to my normal place but it was closed for the Memorial Day. So I call King Soopers Pharmacy and they say they are open for another 5 minutes. I get there with one to spare. They took care of me and it took an extra 12 minutes or so. Above and beyond.

Pleasant. Great selection and competitive prices. I especially love the coupons i get plus savings from king soopers card. My main grocery store. THE checked I had was an older man. I believe he was a shift supervisor.He was very personable and carried conversation well.Thanks! KEEP IT UP.

Every single time I come here, without fail, the line at customer service is 12 ppl long and theres one single old person working. It takes me half an hour to buy a bus pass. I know theres an employee here whod be happy to fill in if you just gave them the hours. How do I know? He told me. Give your employees hours and give your customers decent service, thats how youre supposed to run a business

I live literally a block away and shopped here at least two times a week for over a year.I used to work for a grocery chain and know that this store location is considered urban. Its an older store with people in the parking lot begging for money. None of this bothers me.The selection at this particular store is smaller than others, but I was able to find a majority of what I needed.However around Valentines Day I purchased a 4 pack of steaks just to get them home and find that the parts of the steak that werent showing in the package were dark brown. I was able to return them as I had my receipt.A month later I bought the same package of steaks as well as a 4 pack of ribeyes. I found the same situation with spoiling meat in both packages. I admittedly had thrown the receipt away as I had not anticipated any problems.When I went to return it, I received a huge amount of attitude. They had me waiting around and the women at customer service gave me looks that clearly implied they believed I was lying and trying to steal from them. I offered to show my bank statement showing I had spent money with them that very day and they had the meat clerk come up to compare packaging.I get they may encounter situations like this, but to treat every customer as a suspect is very poor customer service. Due to this, I will not be returning to this King Soopers location.

I bought groceries and they were stocking so the store was a mess. So I tried to just hurry up and do my shopping and get out of there. I met a girl in there named Becky is she really does a great job at her job shes very people-oriented and I enjoyed talking to her while I was there

Pharmacy is great and pretty fast. Sheldon is an awesome pharmacy tech and the pharmacists are always nice and willing to answer questions. The rest of the store is usually well stocked and the employees are nice.

Above average cashiers. Real polite and knowledgeable about where they work. Way better and quicker than other store cashiers where Ive shopped at.

I normally frequent the Kings Soopers on 84th and Pecos.... They have some awesome deals... But tonight was absolutely horrible... They only had the self checkout open and because I came to the checkout from the opposite side of the store, I did not see the line of customers waiting to checkout... So I started running my items and bagging them when a man came up to me and pointed out the line... Ordered me to stop scanning and get to the back of the line.... Now I did feel bad, I would never cut in line on purpose but Id already scanned about 6 items.... Told him I was sorry but Id already started scanning... He demanded a manager come to the front... I should have just left the stuff and left the store... Then lets see how long you would have waited while every item was cancelled... The manager treated me like a child.. I explained what had happened and that I was sorry but she continued to belittle me... I wont be going back to this King Soopers again.... Too bad... I did like this store....

Was not real happy with the deli. I spent 10 minutes at the deli. There were no other costumers at the time. I had them cut some fresh meat and cheese. And also ordered some fried chicken. They seemed to be more involved in their conversations. This was the kings at 120th and Colo.

Nothing really wrong with the store itself. However, there were 6 or 7 shady, low-life characters loitering about the entrance area. Police/Security should do something to make patrons feel safer when visiting this location. Neighborhood is going downhill fast.

Awesome if you like no lines, but has a selection of fresh food like an outpost in The Walking Dead. Even worse, uneducated questions and responses by stoned staff members only lead to a less conclusive and successful outcome. Normal folk May wanna drive the extra 15 to get a better selection and not have to be weary of the undead.... This is just one man talking here, but sometimes dead is better.... Best king soopers ive been to. The fruit and veg section is perfect.Edit: went again tonight and used a checker rather than self-checkout. Staff is as nice as the store is clean. Definitely recommend shopping here.

Great store, need much more cashiers. Only 2 lanes open. And I refuse to use self checkouts. I am not paid to do the cashiers job.

They have a dinky meat counter with no meat display. Everything is pre packaged so you cant ask them to reduce an 8 pack of chicken to a 4 pack. The rest of the store is nice and people appear friendly. But only 3 stars because of the weak meat counter.

I stopped to use the gas pumps but they shut off around ten. 64th and Sheridan has gas pumps on all night. I havent been in that particular King Soopers in a while but they are all awesome. King Soopers rocks!

Tony in self checkout is always very friendly and so is the tall guy who works in the meat department and deli. Theyre both so nice and helpful. They definitely deserve a raise.

Head clerk was more interested in chatting than taking care of business, meaning the parking lot was scattered with carts and I mean a lot, it was 11:15pm and that was rediculous to see. It wasnt easy shopping the Frozen and meat aisles as all the lighting was off. I grabbed a couple items and left rather than trying to search for what I wanted in the dark; most frozen items were pushed clear to the back and you could tell it hadnt been faced / straitened in hours.

This store is very unprofessional, why would it say online that your cash services are open at 6 am and when I go into the store your employee wanted to argue with me that you guys don’t open until 7 am? If that is the case you need to update your website and or teach your employees what time the money services opens. I was going to come back at 7 but the was I was treated by someone who acted like they didn’t have time for me and would not get a manager for me to speak to not her name. I will never go to kingsoopers again because of the way I was poorly treated I will spend the extra time and money to go to Safeway. Thanks for the horrible experience. I just wanted to cash my check after I had a long night at work and haven’t eaten all evening I was hoping to buy breakfast at king soopers but never again will I step foot in there. It’s a shame how ONE employee can change your mind about a whole cooperation.

Its dirty and is in need of deep cleaning, repair, painting,etc workers always friendly and helpful but if you look closely you can see how filthy the building is. The manager said its old but being old doesnt equate to dirty.

The actual store is fantastic, great customer service, great prices, great people.... The pharmacy! NEVER EVER GO THERE!!! I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes No joke, for a prescription. I get up to the window, lady says How can I help you? I say I need to pick up a prescription. She asked me my name and date of birth, then no joke, waited 30 minutes until a DIFFERENT pharmacy employee came up to the window and asked me How can I help you? I used to go to Walgreens across the street, but I switched for convenience. Ive had nothing but a headache from this pharmacy. They will often not have a full supply of my meds, they take at least 15 minutes every time you go to pick up your prescription, slow as molasses, and the customer service isnt that great either! They never have my prescriptions ready on time either. Again the store itself is great, but Im switching back to Walgreens.

Liz the lady who checked us out today is a very rude, snarky person. We will not be returning to this location based on how we were treated. My money is better spent elsewhere.

Last night(Friday), at 6pm, I attempted to get an 8 piece regular meal, which is on special Friday nights. I was the only customer seeking service at the moment, they didnt have enough for an 8 piece prepared. Jason explained to me he couldnt drop any chicken, for the request I made. His excuse was that his manager stepped away, and wouldnt be returning for a minimum of 12 minutes. Its amazing to me, on the night you run a special, not only do you not have the product prepared, but the employee also refused to drop chicken for my order. Im also dissapointed that the manager doesnt have enough leadership, to make sure chicken was dropped, before they left their department. During the conversation with Jason, I was the only customer seeking to fill an order, yet Jason was mentally, incapable of dropping chicken to fill an 8 piece order, 6pm on a Friday night. This isnt the first time I came across ignorant employees at the King Soopers counter. Its the first time however, that an employee was too ignorant to drop chicken for a customer request.

I was in your store earlier this morning, there were several customers that were not wearing masks along with their pre-teen children. I will not be shopping at your store if you dont make masks mandatory...unsafe!

This particular king soopers and simply substandard compared to others. It always seems to be understaffed. It doesnt offer the variety that other king soopers offer. And more times than not something that I need is out of stock. Today on our visit the bathrooms were extremely dirty not to mention the fact that 1 of them was occupied by a man who chose to urinate with the door unlocked so had I not been quicker my 7 year old would have seen something that she does not need to see. Over all the store just needs to be cleaned up.

Extremely busy store. The carts and checkout are both on the right side when entering the store, so everyone is trying to get in and out the same way instead of this place removing the display in the middle of the entrance and/or simply moving the carts to the left. Its like being in a traffic jam. There are always many people in line to check out. Its hard finding parking too just to go in this or any other store in this shopping center. Its my last resort when going shopping.

This is one of the few stores that hasnt moved to many items so new product can be put on the shelves. The employees are courtious, kind and helpful. This is not my store of choice but will go there if I need to grab an item or two.

I have been going there for a long time there is big over turn of workers but i have never been treated badly. They have always assisted me when I ask. Workers have been very nice I have no bad experience.
