I always stop at this location when traveling between Blaine and Bellingham. It always saves me a trip going down to Bellingham for gas. The gas price is almost same as Costco in Bellingham. The place is super clean especially the rest rooms. Food selection is great as they have a Subway on site. They also have large selection of hot and cold drinks. They carry large selection of oils and accessories if you are a trucker. Certified scales are also on site. Most importantly the staff is always very polite. If you need emergency apparel they also have that as well. If you need Mcdonald, well its right in tge same parking lot. Access is super easy from I-5

They are too lazy here to recieve an email and print out ppw for truck drivers, knowing they are the last truck stop before the border, everytime i come here i see them troubling the drivers saying their email is down, or it will take 4 or 5 hours for them to recieve and print out 2 peace of papers. Dont count on this truck stop drivers, shame on the pilot, flying j s name

Pretty small, maybe a dozen of truck parking spots, most of them reserved. Showers are clean. NO LAUNDRY MACHINES. I stoped here for my 34h reset, overall pretty decent, but still, left with a whole bag of dirty laundry...

May 16, 2018Well kept facility, with Subway and Mickeydee’s in the same yard, clean showers and just nice all around. But with the Nazi Gestapo running parking around here, beware the blitzkrieg. (See my pictures of the parking war) If corporate Pilot/Flying J ever visited this place they may re-think the little disaster they have going on here. Why, ever, build a truck-stop within city limits? The two star review solely for the lack of legal parking over here.

Wow... this is my first time experiencing a discrimination in whatcom county. The girls working here are discriminatory against non English speakers. As the only one who can speak English in my house, I had to enter the store as an interpreter for my mom. When I told she wants marlboro light the clerk told me that she needs both of our ids. Since I left my wallet at home, I asked if its alright for me to leave and have my mom buy her thing. The clerk refused saying that since I was with my mom and since I was the one asking, she (the clerk) must see MY id even if I left. Hence, we left and my dad (who also isnt able to speak English) who was in the car entered alone with his id. Turns out they also refused to serve him.

Gas station .... one of last trucks before Canada.

I am not sure their gas quality, but this gas station has the cleanest washroom I have ever seen. They usually fill up fresh windshield fluid buckets for customers to use. Wide, bright, and big convenience store attached has everything you need. Their gas price is very good, and it is just next to Costco.

Customer service is great ! Jed, was professional, polite, and pleasant. Restrooms are clean. Store is on the smaller side but you can find the basics. Parking is limited, but its worth it, just to get treated with respect. 😊

I like all Pilot Travel Centers. We used to travel alot and stop at different locations. They have showers. They cater to truckers and travelers. Nice people working there it must be fun and interesting.

Not impressed that the female cashier should call me sweetheart,dear or Hun Certainly not from a female cashier in a Work environment. She was all right, she seemed extremely frustrated having to deal with 2 customers and training a new employee at the same time.Certainly doesnt seem like shes worthy of being behind the counter not for immediate assistance toward customers and training.. Spoke words CUSTOMERS dont need to hear. Disrespectful to me. Clean store although.

This station always has low gas prices! I come all the way from Canada just to fill up at this location! It’s also a good first stop during our long drives down to Oregon. It has a McDonald’s, subway, and its own convenience store with all your travel needs!

I was there once, got fuelled up, pulled ahead from the pump like your supposed to do, went in to get my fuel receipts, one male employee comesin tells me to move my truck because another trucker wanted off the scale, he, the employee said not to park there anymore, I asked him, or what,he says or Ill have you towed, by then I had my receipt and left, hopefully not to fill my truck up there again

Truck parking not too much but fuel price good. Hard to park truck . Only 10 parking space and 4 to 5 reserved parking . 6 Fuel bay and leave truck at fuel bay after finish fuel up . If you move your truck trailer after fuel up you block other trucks. 4 showers inside and mostly available all the time. Washrooms cleans too. Reception people are nice too.Subway inside too.McDonald side by pilot.Good place for eating and fuel up but not for parking.

I try to fill up here before I go back to Vancouver. Its the cheapest, closest, station to the border. The gas is consistently cheaper than in Blaine by at least 50 cents. Bathroom is also very large and clean, also has showers. Connected to a Subway sandwiches if you are hungry.

Pilot has EVERYTHING! They are conveniently located right off the freeway at the main street exit in Ferndale. They share a parking lot with three restaurants, have plenty of gas pumps, everything you could possibly need including a great selection of local souvenirs,the very best hot showers and a friendly staff.

I really like thier coffee and they keep the area really clean. Picking up after truck drivers is a continuous task. I being a driver know how inconsiderate some of them are and have to say thanks for all of your good work!

A lot cheaper than gas prices right at the border and not that far of a drive down. Also has a lot of pumps so youll probably never have to wait in line. The washrooms are consistently clean and since its close to the highway, the location is pretty accessible. Make sure you opt for a membership card, youll save a little more.

To be fair, they take care of restrooms. Almost always clean. Most of staff are friendly, if not almost all, except for one (a manager). Why I gave it one star then? Because how can I enjoy all that if I cant park a commercial truck. There is no clear rules for their own business, so I can follow. They keep advertising while you are inside for commercial truck to pull forward after fuelling. But when I did exactly that, which is common in truck stops, they cased me out (literally) even before I can go inside for one minute only. I complained to their 1800 number, and for about a year now since that complaint, nothing changed. The only reason I go back, because my company gave us pilot fuel cards, and it is the only one in the area.

Very small truck stop but it has all the services, like most pilot travel stores, sometimes its hard to get into the scale or diesel fuel pumps, take more time than the usual,, just a few parking spots, got to arrive early to get one.Clean restrooms, clean subway restaurant, very nice attendants.

Belong to Pilot Rewards club, get gas 3 cents cheaper per gallon. Use Pilot when ever traveling as they always have cheap gas, clean restrooms and decent priced food.

They have the best prices around Ferndale as well as a pretty well-stocked convenience store and very clean bathrooms. Its also nice that its in the same parking lot as McDonalds so I can load the car up on fuel and then load me up on fuel.

Always get reasonably priced gas here. Easy on/off I-5 freeway access. First place I go to for gas on US side of the border.

So I will start off with the GOOD. Showers are nice and warm. The store is set up where you can find everything even if you pan your eyes around. The BAD (has nothing to do with the employees) The location of this place is quite tight quarters. The only parking is along the curb next to the store. In the middle of the parking lot is owned by Super 8. You never even think you are parked in their lot. But there are signs up but you dont think its where you parked. Fuel is quite expensive here as well. Down I-5 its about 20 cents less. Cant judge its maybe location, competition, or just a government tax for the store to sale fuel. Whatever it is when I got here it was 3.35 a gallon.The Ugly.... The store manager (Guy in the blue button up shirt with the name Matteu I believe) will treat you like an ignorant little child. I asked for a shower and he said Helloooo my register is over heeerrrre. I told him dont treat me like Im stupid and he sat there and argued with me, while Linda the lady there looked disgusted at me. Then I asked her if she could help me with my shower code because it wasnt working. Sometimes they dont work. So happen I was at the wrong shower. It seems to happen when youve driven 5-700 miles and you want a shower and go to bed. She lead me to the right shower and asked if I needed help with my pin. I said no thank you maam I have it from here. Then she said Are you sure its only a whole 5 numbers?I am an owner operator and I dont believe I have ever been treated this bad at a Pilot/Flying J. I usually like to give good reviews but I am a stickler for good customer service, considering thats their job. If I talked like that to my customers, I wouldnt have work.

Coffee is cold as usual. Only have it there starts because the guy didnt charge me for my sausage did and had a cool attitude.

No truck entrance sign ? But you do enter before Mc Donalds, the fuel island is cramped sideways and very small parking area maybe 20 truckers its very tight parking not good for new drivers, same spaces are the only place for the Super 8 pretty lame to have a hotel with no extra space to park your truck 🙄 If the fuel tanker is there do not use the fuel pump next to him you cannot get out without side swiping his truck, there are showers but no hot case only grab and go, good to fuel up and hot cuppa java on the go.

Everything you could possibly need on a road trip pit stop. Great price on fuel. They do need another staff member though it seems to be quite slow inside as customers come in waves.

This is barely a truck stop. You cant move off of the scale if someone is fueling at the first pump, and they give you a warning that you cant park next to the pumps to come get your scale ticket as it is a fire lane. The scale wasnt functioning properly. You had to push the button on the pole for it to work at all. When I asked if the scale was broken, the woman was very rude about telling me how to operate it. I wont go back there. Good luck to all of you that have to attempt the visit.

Small truck stop with only about 10 truck parkings dedicated to pilot, theres about 10 more at the same parking lot, but they are for the customers of Super 8 hotel!

I have been using this facility for showers for about four years, it has one hot shower the rest are lukewarm, I consistently request this one good shower which irritates the staff. Seems like I cant get through more than a few visits without some sort of battle with the staff. Management in several instances have seen employees acting disrespectful without taking action or apologizing for them, including observing an employee try to kick me out of the store and behaving like a drunk in a bar about to pick a fight after being told politely that I wanted to speak to management about their shower policy after being kicked out of a shower by this employee.After speaking to the manger and not arriving at a satisfactory conclusion I requested a complaint form and she responded that they dont have any. As a result I have gone to every review site and left one star reviews. This is exceptional as in a lifetime I have never been treated badly enough to take such an action before now. Perhaps get your policies figured out and get your more out of control employees to understand how to deal with things like adults, not furious thugs.

Price of gas is no longer cheaper than the border prices. The smell of the cows around the place is strong and sickening. The bathrooms are still the cleanest around

I asked if I could park in the car side as a bobtail just long enough to take a 20 minute shower and was told ok. After My 10 minute shower the Evening manager rudely stopped Me to tell Me I wasnt allowed to park there because its her and her employees parking spot and if I came back to the store while shes there she will have My truck towed for no reason. So basically i was banned from the store for being a paying customer... All the other employees were great, sorry the employees and paying customers have to deal with her sour attitude... We dont use pilot anymore. They took down our flag and they take a knee at ball games. They can do that because our boys fought and died for them to have that freedom but I can spend my money somewhere else.

If you are coming form Canada going South on the I-5 to Gas up, be sure to check the price here. It is often cheaper than Fred Meyer, and is right beside the freeway - easy access. The have pay-at-the-pump, and dont increase there price for credit card.

SMALL parking lot, always full and as today, with trailers left alone ... Such a place, with about 12 parking places, half of them reserved parking (I prefer to call this racket parking...) and they dont really care about this...This place is special because additional parking places are available but they are owned by the super8 hotel just nearby. Rate for the super8 places is 15$ a night for the parking and they let you access to their Wi-Fi.Showers at the pilot are clean but not always available ...Fuel pumps are ok.Not an unforgettable place. Just for the parking problem...

This is a nice truck stop/travel center. Good selection of things you need, and things you didnt know you couldnt live without. Has Subway insude, good coffee, extreextremely nice restrooms, showers, certified scale. On the down side, not enough truck oaring, and very tight quarters for trucks. And, the entrance for trucks is confusing if youve never been there before.

The staff was very patient with me while I tried to get the pin for a western union pick up to take a shower it took me a while to get it and they were not in a rush or anything they were nice and funny lol. I think they get us east coast people driving trucks in therr a lot and learned to be patient with us😂🤣😂🤣

Whenever I pass through, I always make a point of stopping here. The restrooms are impeccably clean, they have shower facilities, the store is chock full of fun vehicle accessories, and there is quite a good selection of food stuffs.

12 truck parking spots plus 3 reservable spots. The rest of the lot is posted for Super 8 hotel truck customers only. They charge $15.00 a night or $75.00 for a week. Have stayed a couple of times in our 36 ft RV parking along the end of the truck parking near the black berry bushes.

The water bottles they sell to customers were left in the sun for a week..When the customer, informed a woman n a man worker at Travel Center, they woman said Oh well.the man was sarcastic and !didnt care; I will never buy bottled water from that store( RUDE CASHIERS)

Wow, I never expected the company to reach out over missing a single star on a review. I mean, lets be fair, its a truck stop/gas station, and Im never driving a truck, so clearly Im a civvy and wouldnt see the whole picture (services available to truckers/amenities/perks/etc). This level of engagement definitely warrants another star as I didnt even mention a single issue, just rated, I Liked It. instead of I Loved It. TBH, I only rated 4 stars because I felt 5 would be a little high for a civvy vote like mine. I will be calling the number provided to provide further feedback later today however!
