Went to look for a new coffee table. Terry greeted us and let us know he would help if we had any questions. No pressure, he gave us our space and let us roam. When we found the one we liked he gave us excellent customer service and a great deal too!!!

I purchased a $2000 leather lazyboy recliner in sept of 2018. In 2020 I started noticing small areas of discoloration. Then I took a closer look and the leather was actually peeling...the dark color gave way to a pinkish-beige. Needless to say I was very upset. I went to Samuels, where I had purchased many items over the years, because I expected quality items. I bought a lazy boy because of their reputation (I still have a 30 yr old leather lazy boy in a back bedroom).I called Samuels and was sent to Thomas. He had me send photos and the serial number of my recliner. Its been 2 weeks since I did that and I havent heard a thing.I am really disappointed in Samuels and in Lazyboy. I will probably never shop at Samuels again unless this matter is dealt with adequately.

Our family has shopped here for years. They service what they sell. Their LazyBoy selection has a great variety for everyone... Love my new recliner with hand held controls.

This is a great furniture store, with a very wide selection and helpful knowledgable staff. They are nice but not pushy, and the prices are great. In fact, they adjusted the price downwards after we purchased our chairs, and then refunded the adjustment! Also, after we had paid them, they determined that they could offer us free shipping, so they did. I will go to Samuels any time I need furniture.

I will say we worked with Adam. He was great to work with and I personally would recommend him to anyone I knew was going there.

We went in awhile ago to get arm chairs for our house. The rep who helped us was very patient and made sure we found something that made us really happy. She worked with us and showed us everything. Really appreciated her attention to detail.The prices seem really high, but they also seem willing to work with you on price. Worth stopping in.

Excellent quality & customer serviceWe special-ordered two chairs from Samuels, which were delivered on schedule as promised. The next day we noticed one was sitting slightly crooked - on inspection we found the base had been bent during shipping from the factory. One call to the store and a service crew arrived the next day to replace the base. We love the quality furniture and now cant say enough about customer satisfaction.

This furniture store is awesome. The sales team is the most knowledgeable and friendly sales team in Washington state. They have the best pricing from the medium to high end furniture they sell. I highly recommend Samuels for the best furniture buying experience ever. 😀

Seems like a decent selection of higher end furnishings. Not much variation in the prices of the furniture I saw and some just seemed plain overpriced for what you were getting. The reason for only three stars however was because I felt ignored (maybe based on looking young, not sure), I was approached by someone who asked if she could help me, I told her what I was looking for in order to reconfigure our living room and she said take a look around and Ill check on you. No one ever came back to check on me or give me more information and it was by no means busy in there. Based on the customer service experiences I have had at other local furniture store I will not be returning to this one.

I personally love Samuels furniture I just recently bought a gorgeous grey leather sofa I believe when you purchase something a lot of it has to do with customer service and Michelle who is in The Lazy Boy Department was absolutely amazing very sweet and down-to-earth lady and was definitely a part of me making my decision on buying the sofa thank you for all your help Michelle.......

Actually I was working doing a remodel for Starbucks. Well actually it was more of a new build because the last had burned down. Samuels was nice enough to have allowed us to store some stuff in their warehouse as we had run out of storage space. That says a lot about the kind of staff Samuels has! Thanks Samuels Furniture Staff and workers for helping by allowing us to use your storage space for a while.

Do yourself a favor and shop ANYWHERE BUT Samuels. Theyll promise you service, a delivery date, and will LIE about EVERYTHING. They promised six-eight weeks for delivery of furniture that was being built by LaZBoy, and TWO MONTHS after that, I may see that furniture this weekend. BUT there was NO communication from Samuels: I had to call them regularly during the last two months and was given erroneous delivery dates, promises that the furniture was being shipped, was on the truck, was heading here, etc., and all were LIES. And the best that Samuels manager would do is refund 2.86% of the purchase price for all this lack of and false communication. DONT SHOP HERE!

We purchased 2 couches and 2 recliners from Samuels. The sales lady was patient with us, as we werent sure if we were ready to buy. She showed us all our options, tried to get the best price for us and didnt oversell us on a bunch of items we didnt need. I am not into high pressure and she honored that. We love the couches. Made by Flexsteel. Great quality

Excellent service by Cheryl. She bent over backwards to find the perfect sofa for my 90 year old mother, who had a very specific wish list of requirements. She put one sofa on hold for us, while we continued to search at other stores. She finally settled on another sofa she preferred from a store in Lynden, but we both truly felt bad that the one from Samuels didnt work out. We were so impressed with Cheryls genuine helpfuness and thank her so much.

Great place

Purchased a lazyboy couch and loveseat with extra warranty, material looks terrible and the recliner hand broke off, NO ONE would stand behind the material or broken part, kept passing the buck to someone else. I would NEVER buy anything from them again. My couch looks 50+ years old when it really is only 4 years old. VERY DISAPPOINTED! customer service is horrible.

Lovely displays and knowledgeable staff. But the examples we were shown for bookcases didnt seem to match what we were told to expect - made from solid wood, but there was a vaneer finish that was clearly already chipping and revealed a drastically different color underneath. The staff seemed a little skittish after our initial entrance.

Recently purchased 2 beautiful leather recliners. Had a problem with one of them not functioning well and as soon as they could, the chair was replaced and I am totally satisfied with their expert, post sale service.

Saw two items in the store had prices on them wanted to buy before Christmas but said it was part of a display would take 5 weeks to arrive they were not cheap itemsIve always been under the impression if it has a price tag you should be able to buy it and take it with youI will never shop here againIf you want to display than dont put a price on it that is what salespeople are for

I will never buy anything from Samuels Furniture again. We spent over $ 8,000.00 for two Stress less chairs and a three tear stress couch. The color on the leather is changing colors where they died the leather. We have spent over $ 10,000.00 with Samuels Furniture and always had great product. Just be very cautious when you buy any Leather products. For we bought this to last for the rest of our life that is not the case. We will never go back in their store ever.

I bought a Sofa and a Love Seat and I do Like it ....HOWEVER......If you are doing a credit plan....be prepared to be bamboozeled.....I was to pay $57 per month until paid in full, I have never been late on any of my payments and when I went to pay they had changed the amount to $75.00 per month with Zero Notification.....and we are supposedly a Valuable Customer? Will not shop there ever again.......Im Done!

Ive had great experiences shopping at Samuels, and its well worth the drive from Bellingham to get quality furniture from them. There are cheaper options in Bellingham, but they are exactly that, cheaper. If youre looking for lasting heritage pieces of furniture, I would recommend looking at Samuels.

Just moved to bellingham n were new homeowners, we bought a bed suite n mattress, found the mattress uncomfortable, asked for exchange, we were rudely turned down, would never recommend or go to samuels again. i guess it could be because its a small family business n cannot provide good customer service, only caters to one time buyers

My husband and I purchased a leather sectional with ottoman around 6 years ago. We were really excited and made sure to buy the extended warranty. Within the first year and a half we had to make our first call to Samuels. A spring had busted out the bottom of the couch and was digging into our wood floor every time someone sat down. I also informed them that our ottoman had a scratch across it and the leather cushions were peeling like a bad sunburn. The service tech came by and fixed the spring but said there was nothing that could be done about the scratch or the leather peeling. He said that was a product defect and not covered. The scratch wasnt covered either, even though anyone could tell it wasnt made from a pet.I have talked to the service department a couple times since then and even showed pictures of the couch......its embarrassing. Anytime someone would sit on the couch and the stand up they would take part of my couch with them. There would be flecks of leather all over my kids back whenever he chose to sleep on the couch. Ive had people come over and ask what happened to my couch because of how horrible it looks. Thats okay, because I get to tell them how Samuels always takes care of their customers and that, that is what you get for paying almost $2000.00 on a couch.In the end, Samuels did try to help. They told me they would take my couch away for free and give me 20% off a full priced item....even 10% off a clearance piece. That alone makes my day.I finally got rid of my couch because it was so upsetting to look at it. When we delivered it to a friend for his kids play room (maybe they will play a game and see who can have the most leather stuck to their arms) he told my husband that he had no idea it was in such bad shape. We asked if he still wanted it and he said yes, but that he was sorry we had such a horrible experience. He is a business owner and understands quality work and customer satisfaction.Their offer was a joke just like their warranty. It makes no difference to me that they stopped purchasing furniture from the company that made the sectional. In fact, it just frustrates me more because it shows that they felt something was wrong too. Wrong enough to cut ties with the company, but not enough to take care of their customers. I will continue to tell others about Samuels Furniture until they decide to do the right thing.
