My experience at this particular location was excellent. The security guard greeted me with friendliness and a welcoming spirit. The store was clean and well kept. Felecia my cashier was exceptionally professional and courteous. Her and the guard definitely help set the correct tone for customer service!!! They both should be acknowledged and deserve a bonus or reward for being essential workers during this Delta COVID period. Thanks to the both of them I’m a loyal customer for this Kroger location.

I was in the neighborhood and remembered wanting to buy a few things. Unfortunately, at that time, they didnt have either of the two items I was looking for. Thats why I only gave three (3) stars.Its all good though. If possible, they may want to try and keep their meat stocked up better though. There was way too many gaps where food items (specifically meats) shouldve been.With that being said, Id still recommend you visit this Krogers and Ill go back again. Ive been here before and theyre usually better stocked, clean and treat customers well. Probably just caught them between stock. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Hakeem, who works in the floral department is nothing short of amazing! Hes very polite, does a great job and is very helpful. I was thinking Id just walk in, grab a bouquet and check out. Hakeem asked if I needed any help and he rewrapped my bouquet. I am thoroughly pleased and would return to this location just because of the customer service although its not the location thats closest to me. Just amazing!

Workers are RUDE. Don’t try calling to find something out because they’re literally no help. And VERY RUDE. I sat in the phone for 30 minutes. Literally from 1pm to 1:30pm. Zero stars

I’m from the west side of Michigan. I was going to visit a friend in Ferndale and was very excited to swing into Kroger on my way out. I LOVE and miss Kroger, as we don’t have many on the west side. I was APPALLED. Low quality food and selection. Disorganized.

Went shopping and seven of the nine employees I saw had their masks pulled down so that either their nose or both mouth and nose were uncovered. Most upsetting of all was the fact that the security guard at the door had his mask pulled down around his neck.Extremely frustrating, considering this is a store who sells food and therefore needs to be hygienic. Masks are mandatory in Michigan.

This store is horrible. The produce is not fresh. The store smells and it’s filthy.

Went to the store today. There was a sign that said power outage store closed. Keep in mind the lights were on and people are shopping. I call in the store and whomever answered was very rude and short. I asked if the stire was closed for a power outage but its people inside and the lights are on. She just kept saying were closed were closed. This is why its my last resort store. Ill only go if EVERYTHING else is closed.

Bathroom was nasty filthy some of the toilets wouldnt flush, the handicap buggies are never available and no one cares to get you one. I almost fell cause I didnt have one so I had to walk and my knees kept giving out.

People are nice the store looks okay but I had a problem with their Western Union you can send money but you cant receive money that got under my skin a little bit but I kept it moving on and went on down the street

Nice big store, I like the prices, I found some items that I had seen at another store that was like $2.00 cheaper, also the workers there was so helpful seeing that I needed help getting those cases of water to my car, I had a friendly conversation with one of your Porters about taking care of ourselves he told me that he was a smoker I told him that he need to consider stop smoking because he didnt want to die from smoking, so before I left, he told me that he wasnt going to smoke anymore, I told him every time you think about buying cigarettes take the money and put it in a jar, and youll see how much money you have saved, he told me that was a good idea, I know that the last part of the review doesnt have anything to do with shopping but maybe it can help someone else to stop smoking, if we can save just one person from lung cancer or throat cancer. Then we have done a good job.

I have held off reviewing this Kroger for years because its an odd place, always!This last visit marks my ending trip. Someone previously open and Drank out of the juice (in a box) I purchased. I didnt notice until I got home and it sloshed around and felt light. The seal was broken and half the juice was gone. Its Covid-19 season! Why would someone do this? To add to the situation, I couldnt take it back Knowing I would be accused a liar. Im completely done with this place with its rude customers and staff who are rude because of the customers who are rude because of the staff. VICIOUS CYCLE!!!

Ive been going to this krogers for the last 5years and its usually a wonderful experience. Especially during this pandemic. Unfortunately today was not great at all! My cashier name was Wanda and she by far had the worse attitude Ive experienced in customer service. From speaking rudely to tossing my groceries all unacceptable.

The location is awesome, I pass it every day and it’s my go to grocery store. I just started using the pharmacy, will comment on it later. Overall great

Kroger is one of my favorite markets that I frequently shop it sometimes twice a week but this location Ive been in several times its not one of my favorites there were some customers walking around the store soliciting customers for money which I didnt like and Ive never had that experience in any other Kroger location they ought to do something about the people that are just in the store soliciting customers for money and they were out of certain food products that I usually buy at the other Kroger locations so if I had just wasted my time coming into that location I would rather go out of my way to another Kroger location then to shop at this Kroger location whats not an enjoyable experience

I usually come here to do shopping and there are admittedly times where Im not happy with the service albeit because of Maybe some of the workers are using profane language at the register talking about what happened the night before or over the weekend today my visit was not horrific but I just felt that since I had a pile of groceries and Without anyone asking me to step in decided to help the cashier out to bag them while Im noticing two gentleman at the other end bagging talking about cars one of which was helping bag the express lane which is I believe 14 items or less Instead of helping out with the other lanes That undoubtedly require more attention to go along with that the cashier she was so so but she never even thanked me for helping her out... Im just saying

Filthy, it takes them hours to clean up spills, the last time I wax there the beer aisle was sticky from unwashed floors after a spill, the shelves are disorganized. Candidate for worst Krogers in Michigan.

They try. Sometimes they fail. I find that whenever I have an issue I can take it to the Kroger customer satisfaction survey and within a week or so a member of upper management is reaching out to me. They do make an effort to address my concerns and I appreciate that. I guess what they can do better is find workers who have a good work ethic. I do see a lot of people simply not doing their jobs. But that’s only a few bad apples. I really feel like they care about me and value me for the most part when I walk through those doors.

Great sales prices almost daily, this store is very busy... the cashiers are helpful and friendly, Shout out to Erica Mgr, Joann, Shannon, Phillip, SuRine, and Yul who gets the produce in order, they are all outanding!Overall this store has some very diligent workers... and doing a Great job!

Overall store is good, but shopping cart situation leaves a bit to be desired. There should be at least two more cart returns in the parking lot, this would prevent shopping carts from being left all over the parking lot. Additionally, there were no carts when I went in the store and had to go outside to find one.

Well it was a nice visit I was looking for a different salad menus but they didnt have it. That is very nice and clean in here and I like that

I must admit I almost never go to Kroger but I was in nee of a birthday cake for my niece. The selections of cakes were cast and meat and organized. The crew behind the cal counter were friendly and professional. The cake was super moist with whipped icing. Yummy! I would definitely recommend.

This Krogers has a great selection of items to choose from and usually has a good stock of items. This Kroger has money services, bottle return, and operating restrooms. The facility has self check out as well. Kroger has a seasonal isle that supplies many items. The parking is very moderate and usually easy to find a space.

Store was disgusting! Is anyone cleaning in here? There needs to be a health inspection! The bottle return room was beyond filthy. I would give this store zero stars! Just because this Kroger serves the black community does not mean it has to be nasty!

Hm. Its stocked like a Kroger, but definitely in the ghetto. Its good Kroger is there, but your comfort level depends on your personal filters and if you are from the city or the suburbs. Its in a suburb (technically), but the feel is of two worlds meeting. The staff is hip to some of the things that happen on the street (good thing), so its safe. Just to make sure, it closes around 10pm, so nothing goes on after dark). 😇

The store was clean, Shelves were always stocked the staff were all decent and it is quick and reliable service.It isnt understaffed and the deals are always good.

Put plain a simple This Kroger needs an update, The Sea Good area Update Update Update. Its so much room in this Store that they dont use. Were the Sushi Bar? Okay Im spoiled to the others Krogers but Im passing this on my way home.

This place is alright, the employees have gotten better, not much, but you can notice it, it might be the change of management. The staff over all will recognize you and hold conversations with you, which is a nice way to show you arnt just a pay check. The only problem that I run across often are the random beggars that plague the store lot, front doors, and sleeping migrants on the employee reserved break table.

Its a great store to shop. Especially the managers always helpful. Just to name a few. Regina,Deneen, Melody, Robin, & Phillip, some r cashiers anyway they r 👍 to the customers. Wish all stores had such a good staff.☺

Theres an older security guard who accused me stealing some kind of cream even after he checked me and my groceries at the metal detectors. Now every time I go in to shop, he singles me out and follows me everywhere I go. Ive been shopping here for at least 15 years and Ive never been so disrespected for being treated like a criminal

Its just ok. They usually are fully stocked but so are a lot of other stores that are much nicer. This store definitely needs some updating! Dont go here if you are not in desperate need.

I can usually find what I need here. The workers are friendly and the food in the deli is always fresh. It does seem like there overall prices are higher than other Krogers Ive been to tho. I also like that my bank has a brand there so its very convenient.

I dont like the fact that many times I came to this store there wasnt any shopping carts inside or the fact that there were only a few cashier lines open especially during peak time. Also I think they need more variety in the poultry sections this Krogers is not the best one Ive been too there are way better locations.

I like going there to shop unfortunately they stopped cutting thier steaks fresh at the store. And have stopped selling certain cuts but all in all still a good place to shop

On 2-17-2020 I was I Kroger to get some fry chicken and a side. I purchased 3 pieces of fry chicken and a small corn, I didnt notice the sour smell of corn until I got home. I immediately call the 8 mile and Wyoming store to inform them of the problem, I was told that the problem would be taken care of. Another senior in my building also purchase the corn and noticed the same thing. I call Kroger headquartered and told them of the problem, this guy tell me if I have time I will call. Wow is all I can say, so if u go into any Kroger store take time to check and smell your food, or maybe its just here!!!

A strip mall on the Royal Oak Township side of Eight Mile Road and Wyoming. I often stop in the Kroger grocery store here. I like to accumulate rewards points for shopping at Kroger, however, there is no gasoline station for this Kroger location. There also is a decently stocked Dollar Tree in this strip mall.

Strong neighborhood grocer. (I know its a chain.) Many Metro Detroiters frequent this locale for fresh produce, seafood, baked goods and more. Service seems to be improving. Welcoming store.

Krogers has really gone down on 8 Mile and Ferndale the store is dirty. The deli department went down less variety The food doesnt look fresh. I went to purchase some dog food very big bad there were three employees standing together talking I asked if anyone could call for someone to help me to put my bag of dog food in the car one girl told me she was on break there was a young man and he was off the clock and he volunteered to do so the service is bad. I found a new off-brand Market very clean the floors to clean Nice produce deli department wide variety of different kind of pasta salad they have a department that has the size of macaroni and cheese which is delicious. I will do my shopping at this market Mikes. Krogers Tomras machine is always down in the the room is nasty floor sticky no soap to wash your hands just went down totally.

I come here all the time. A lot of items can be kind of expensive & the meats arent usually the best quality, but everything else is good. There are often discounts for reward members; they have lots of coupons; the desserts are great, especially the cupcakes & donuts

I like this Kroger best! Never had any problems.Its on Greenfield and 9 mile.There is one closer but because of the service here I choose this one!

Its a convenient shopping center for a quick stop on the way home. The shopping center has a pizza, Chinese, Subway and a Coney island for fast food and a Kroger for grocery. So its a good place to stop all day.

Long lines. Hide and seek game to find carts. Customer service and management dont seem thrilled to be there. My experience is hit or miss each time . Its truly hard to rank this place because their is no consistency to your visits. Check the date on all food for expiration!!! Produce section check your items too. Also the ladies in the deli stop frying and grilling food literally by 430 and dont close until 730. Oh and good luck with parking.

I like the variety of stores here. Dollar tree is my favorite store. Jets pizza is good. As far as Krogers their employees are rude, and o yea the security that works there takes themselves way too serious. Your a rent a cop not homeland security.

Well, after shopping at that location of Krogers. I gathered four stacks of shopping carts that were scattered throughout the parking as a good samaritan. I wonder if it was noticed by the mgt. This was between 18:30/19:30 Saturday 3/30/19

This is the worst Kroger ever!..I stopped to pick up a salespaper and pasta. I was in line to checkout. The cashier was sprawled out on the counter talking to the lady as she was putting away her groceries in her bag. I started inputting my alt ID into the system. She turned and looked at me and continued talking. The lady thanked her and left. My turn now... I use to work and supervise the Front end. This was totally unacceptable. I avoid shopping here as mich as possible.

I was able to find what I needed my only problem is the self serve checkout is lame. I prefer the personal service of a cashier. the self service checkout is taking jobs away from ppl who can really use the work.

Everything and everyone in the market, and bank part are very courteous and helpful. The prices are decent and there is a wine and beer isle is maintained top notch. The pharmacist is rude, racist and condescending and most things needed they dont have.

I really like going there customer service is good and I see that they hired some more younger people give them a chance to get jobs and stay out of trouble 👍👍🙂

This location is excellent.surrounded by other successful budsnesses.you can stop in during lunch break for a quick deli fresh salad, deli sandwiches etc. Always stocked.

Everyone knows you need the Kroger card to get a discount. Kroger has great selection, of fruits & vegas: for example: 1 large orange cost me .49. Good price huh? In another aisle, they had the same oranges for .69. The oranges were organic. No pesticide. What bulls____!!!!. Organic is higher everywhere. If people want to eat healthier, the cost is higher. I Wonder why so peoplemany are fat & unhealthy.....when they live on low income.

Items are more expensive than your normal grocery store but they have specialty items you wont find in other stores. The staff is friendly and we made our purchase and was out quickly.

I found everything I was looking for. But there steaks are priced way way too high. Omg for one steak they wanted 12.47 Im like are u crazy it didnt look that good and that was the cheapest one. But most of the rest of my stuff was on sell there never ever think you are going to buy steak there for the family unless you ready to shell out 50.00 for the 4 of you. Damn thats too high

I love shopping at kroger, most for it wide selection of products. The store is very clean, the staff is professional in tone-of-voice, knowledgeable in item locations, and prompt in resolving cutomers concerns.The meat selections are a bit much, but Im assuming its due the quality and other inexpensive goodies.On the other hand, the parking is off-da-chain, but worth it.
