Overall, it was a fun experience and felt like we got some nice looking bedroom accessories for a great value. Having never been to an Ikea, there were a few times when I wasnt familiar with the designed shopping experience. It also felt a tad bit like a maze trying to get to the section I was looking at and then quickly back out to the self service furniture area without having to unnecessarily go through a lot of the rest of the store.
Found some nice end tables for the babys room, ate sweetish meatballs Mac and cheese, broccoli and a chicken wrap with chocolate cake. All tasted good 👍
Spent 2.5 hours in there and did not even notice we were in that long. Love how things are set up with the different styles. Prices are decent for most things but was still an adventure and spent some time with the oldest while we visited her for weekend.
There was a little trouble locating this place. The good news was that it was just off the interstate. The walk from the parking lot to the kitchen cabinet department was up an escalator, long and difficult for a physically challenged person. Because the signage is so bad, I had to ask 3 staff members along the way, in order to find the department I was suppose to be at. Dunia was great to work with, the reason I gave them the one star. She took time to walk us through the products we were interested in. After getting a layout and ready to buy (160+ pieces), I was told several different things. First, I couldnt take the order with me as they didnt stock it there. They couldnt deliver the order to my house as I was not in their system. I couldnt go to the warehouse to pick it up. So, I had to offer an alternate address, 15 miles away from my home, that they could deliver to. I will have to haul my own trailer to this location in order to offload and then deliver it to my house, only to handle it again to take it into my house. Oh, and we will change you $150 for this non delivery service. Second, you will need to get online and enter 8 product numbers we dont have right now. We cant sell them to you and we cant call you when they are available. You will have to continue checking until you can get them. I cant start the remodel without the critically needed piece, kitchen sink cabinet. Third, you need to go into the store to find this list of 5 items that you will pick up and purchase before you pick up the 7 items you can take with you today. There were no instructions on where to find these item, and that 3 of the 5 items are out of stock. I had to ask a stocking person where the items were, and she looked them up and was the one that shared that they were out of stock. The fourth and last item, you only have 48 hours from the time of deliver to make sure everything is there, I will check every time they deliver a product, check, double check, and triple check. I did that at the dock pickup of my 7 items. The product we purchased is exactly what we want. Really IKEA, you want customers to be treated this way?
Ive only been here a handful of times. Everytime I feel like I could get lost in this store forever and be okay with it. LOL. My sisters and I usually make a day of it and plan to spend the day shopping here vs just running in and picking up a few things.I love the styled rooms and seeing everything in use. I do feel a little overwhelmed once Im in the shopping areas trying to find things that I want to purchase and sometimes its hard to tell exactly how much something is going to cost you. When I got my apartment I went to IKEA to get dishes, decorative items, and bedding. Prices were affordable and item quality is great. I will say after a year of having the dishes you can see some wear and tear on them (scratches from forks/knives) but thats to be expected. I havent bought any big furniture from here personally, but I do have a hand me down bed frame that was purchased from IKEA, I am the third owner and the frame is holding up great!Be prepared to wait at checkout as the store is massive and busy with people everywhere. Ive only ever dealt with are the staff in the food court and people working the checkout, of which all were super friendly and helpful.Only rating 4 stars because of the lack of ease for shopping here. Other than that, I love this store and will continue to make purchases from here.
Ikea is always a good road trip. The food in the cafe is delicious & always fun to try. There is always something interesting in the shopping area.I love looking at the rooms that are set up to get different ideas. After paying for my things, I know there are cinnamon rolls, freezer foods, syrups, pasta etc as well as hot dogs & ice cream cones to get at food counter before I leave.
Great place to buy affordable plants and household items. I love the veggies dogs at the cafeteria. This place has everything from furniture to tools. If you never visited you must make day of it. This place is huge.
Drove two hours to the Fishers In storefront time going there. LOVE IT !! Great prices. Got a nice bookshelf for my blu rays and was hoping to get two curio cabinets this past Thurs but some KAREN bought 5 of them the day before. Going back in the Spring hope they have the cabinets in then. The sticker didnt have unavailable but i guess the employee checked and they were out very disappointing .
Love this place!! Such a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon, and endless options to get creative with in your own home. We bought a king bed for our master bedroom and some decor for the house :)
The cafeteria server was very rude and loud. She was not understanding my requirement and yelling at me. I feel humiliated. I would like some strong action should be taken against her misbehavior. A single star for unfriendly staff at the cafeteria.
First trip to IKEA. Seemed a bit overwhelming, at first; but, once i understood the layout it was easier to navigate (in my head). Finding the cut throughs made back tracking simple. The restaurant, in the middle of the store, was a welcome break. I would have enjoyed my food being hotter; but, it was tasty and the side salad was crisp.I didnt know items purchased were not bagged. You need to bring your own or purchase a reusable bag. This is a 2 hour drive from home but Ill incorporate another trip with a visit soon... especially for the yummy cookies.
Nothing is in stock.... Dont waste your time. I hate that you cant order online especially since we live 2 hrs away...
Great products for good prices. There is a cafeteria about halfway through and some fast food after you check out. Dont forget to buy a few chocolate bars on your way out, they are so good! Unfortunately because of the pandemic, they were out of a few things on my list. Not their fault so they still get 5 stars.
Grab your best pair of walking shoes, and a full wallet to get ready to spend awhile in the store! Anything the mind can imagine and more for interior decoration can be purchased in this store from appliances to table lamps this store has it all!
Wow crazy stuff 😳 they got furniture 🤔 and meatballs ? what da hell 😳 very epic. it felt like an amusement park 😎😎🤪
The Ikea experience is definitely different. This location is up to par with the other locations Ive been to. Very clean, well kept, and friendly staff. Good experience even for simple, smaller buys. I went there for coffee and a clock and was able to navigate quickly using the map signs thoroughly posted throughout the store
Oct 2021 - went in to pick up a couple of bedroom items. 6 aisles of product in the warehouse were closed off with no signage, directions, or explanation. There was one person at a kiosk in front of the only way to enter those aisles and a very slow-moving line of 4-5 people waiting to talk to her. Waited in line 15 minutes and moved on spot in line before I had to leave. We never found out why we couldnt get our products, whether we would be able to, if we needed to talk to the person at the kiosk or do something different, or what was going on. And there was nobody who could answer our questions or help us. A very frustrating experience. And I cant find anyway to contact the store directly to find out if I will experience the same thing if I go back. Shoppers beware.
Kids thought it was amazing (nearest one to our home is 6 hrs away). Nowhere near enough time to explore it as well as we could have. Good deals on many things, wide selection... Plan on spending some real time unless you know it already and have specific things in mind.
I wasnt able to shop like I wanted I am handicapped. I was not able to walk alot Through the store. Its so huge
It was our first trip to IKEA. We were impressed with how they presented their products. We will return.
I have to stop going in cold. From now on placing my order online and picking up. Its just too tempting to buy everything. My armoire is beautiful.
This was our first time at Ikea. Upon entering we were rather confused where to actually go haha but we figured it out and we had a blast. Everything there was priced rather well which I was surprised. Tbey have room examples to give ideas on how to decorate an such - super helpful. The only issue i had was that they had three lanes open to checkout - we stood in line for 30 minutes.
Good place to get your furniture.
Love the store! It is clean. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Whatever you do, though, I do not recommend ordering anything online for delivery. The service is completely unreliable. I have been on hold for over an hour, several days running, to speak with customer service. I have yet to speak with a person. I have yet to receive my stuff even though some of these items are now in stock in the store.(nothing was available for pick up when I ordered)Love the products, too. I just wish I could receive what I have paid for and I paid good money for the convenience of delivery as well.
Very different and an amazing experiment Set up its set up you can go to each room and see what it looks like they have Mode room set up like bedroom living room kitchen very unique.
We received wonderful help from an employee in the warehouse! They are also finally getting their stock back. We waited over 25 minutes to check out, and they were out of some drink options in the cafe area. Those are the reasons for 4 stars instead of 5.
This is a super experience. Feels like stepping into another place you xan buy and take home to make your place work better.
Today was my very first time shopping here, at IKEA.I didnt get to enjoy it, at all. Too many people!I didnt get a chance to actually look at things. I just felt rushed!I was shocked by how people were laying on furniture, or just flopped in a chair, as if they were at home.Anyway, the store was super cool, and I loved the room displays etc.
We love ikea. Their shopping experience is unique, and their prices are fairly reasonable. Call me crazy, but I like the assembly of the furniture. I have fun with it.
Really like the concept. Feels like a very bright maze...but love the idea of seeing your own space in real life.
I dont understand what people like about this store. The prices are not cheap, and it is mostly stuff that is going to fall apart in a few years or less. I spent 2 hours at this store looking at things, and when I went to get them they only had one item. Plan on spending 20 to 30 minutes waiting in line to pay for your items. There is nothing here that says this is quality stuff. There is no need for me to return.
Needed more shelves for the closet. Walked in and went to sales rep and they placed the order. Went to staging area and they have a big screen telling you how long until your order is ready. Then they loaded it up and I was on my way. I was dreading going thru the whole store circuit so I tried swimming upstream. Obviously they figured this out way before me. Only issue I have with them was I had thoughts about ordering online but delivery fee would have been $99.
Ikea is a great place to get inexpensive items & furniture. If you expect to pickup furniture it might take awhile. They are slow
I dont think Ive ever had a bad experience at an IKEA. I love just walking through the store and seeing all of the displays. Its so relaxing for me and I love getting new ideas. The cashiers and employees are always friendly which is a huge plus!
Love to shop there. Wear comfortable shoes as there is lots to see. Great prices on kitchen ware.Bought their longer handled hand can opener this trip. Works great. Next visit buying extra for stocking stuffers and a spare. I also recommend their casserole dishes. The clear glass rectangle is a great price and makes a good gift! Great deal of organizing items, bookcases, and just general household useful items. I stock up on batteries too.
Great place to buy home furniture.Easy to assemble and use
This is no place for a senior citizen to shop I am 71 years old with COPD liver disease and in a large prostate they have no battery-powered shopping carts and once you come into this place you have to do the hotel California thing you can check in but you cannot check out till you do the 26 mile marathon it was a good thing I was wearing a diaper otherwise they would have had to of cleaned up a urine trail 5 or 6 times bathrooms are not available until after you check out The only good thing about this experience I had was that $1 cinnamon roll it was the bomb it was the best thing that I experienced at this place I know I should have gave it five stars cuz it really is a really nice place but for a senior citizen it wasnt really a good experience
Always love shopping at Ikea. My son had a return and their customer service did an amazing job of helping us with the return and the staff helped us find a great replacement option. Had a piece of their pizza before shopping and the crust was great. Overall a pleasant experience.
Very easy to find what you need. Food court is nice too.
We have toured Ikea in Columbus and we prefer to drive down to Indys Ikea. They have more options to offer and the staff are always super helpful.
Great place for a family outing. Had a small complication when someone dropped a lightbulb and then were led into this place called the hole but were given food when we complied and released. i would say enjoy your stay but I know you will
Its definitely a great place as long as you are comfortable with DIY.
Worst consumer experience of my life trying to purchase 20 cabinets for a kitchen remodel. Company is fine for buying a single piece of furniture they have there at the warehouse. But if you’re trying to buy a room’s worth of stuff that has to be ordered, prepare for the most backwards experience imaginable. Honestly can’t believe IKEA is making it in 2021. Go buy semi custom somewhere else and save yourself the stress. Good luck.
The main problem with Ikea is the way they layout the store. It is like walking through a large house with everything laid out in such a way as to keep you from leaving unless you buy something. I have yet to speak to an employee that new where anything was or how to get to where something is. The merchandise is average quality at decent to high pricing. The problem is finding what you want. Your best bet is to place an order online and pick it up at the pickup area, without going in the store. I will say that the restaurant had pretty good food, once you find it..
Enjoy the walk thru the store and eying all the pretty merchandise. Always treat myself to nice items.
Raelyn from returns department is an specialist on bad service and a guide on how not to deal with a customer. A simple question can be turned into an hour of wasted time.
Ikea has so many interesting ideas for how to organize and decorate your home! I love how at the end of the store youre able to select what you saw in the displays that you want to purchase. Its a very big store, so at least account for 2 to 3 hours inside.
Awful. I purchased a bed frame and head board. The closest ikea is 4 hours round trip. I was told that I had to order it through a sales person but they picked it all and after I paid I get the items from the pickup. I did that and after I got home, remember 4 hour round trip, and put 90 percent of it together, I didnt have the support beam. Meaning that I couldnt use the bed frame and the room isnt big enough to lay my be down with the Fram already put together. I called customer support and was told there was nothing that they could do and that they would have the store I bought it from call me in 24 to 48 hours. She did say that I could pay for the part that I didnt get and also pay for them to ship it to me. I asked how much shipping was for this $15 part. $129 dollars. Yep one hundred and twenty nine dollars. Ikea has the worst customer support Ive ever dealt with.
Love this place. They have great selection of products. Employees are kind as well
My wife and I shop here a lot. The extra waiting for some furniture is a little annoying. Finding some styles in stock is challenging but there are very helpful managers lurking around there if you are willing to be a bit of a Karen. Also, the quality of the dressers is incredible! It takes a village and a lunch break to assemble one but it will be stronger, straighter and better looking than one bought from another furniture store, and at 33% of the price. We have 3 large hemnes and 1 large besta.
Fun place to walk and get new ideas.
Always a great way get ideas, deals, and exercise.
Warehouse areas been changed to restricted aisles. Some items apparently you must ask for assistance in a long line for shelved areas. The IKEA walk means you have to mostly follow the one long winding route through the store - to easily double or triple the duration of your trip forcing you to see more of the merchandise. This is not a place for expedient shopping. Has self-checkout for less than 10 items, but only 1 regular checkout staffed aisle! Slowly building more reasons to not return unless they absolutely have an item I need.
Lots of selection, settings feel like a maze to be navigated
A smaller selection than some other ikeas but its still very nice.
Almost everything I wanted had a ticket that said no longer available or out of stock. Why have a display if its no longer available? Seriously 5 items I wanted where marked out of stock and other items I knew they had where gone like bamboo drawer inserts, glass food containers with rubber lids, NO king sheets at all, and a couple other small items the big stuff I wanted was a TV stand and a bench for the end of my bed oh and shoe holders all out. The store was also kinda messy for an Ikea and the food at the restaurant was horrible.
Its really nice and organized pretty well. I thought I would get completely lost but I didnt
Great Ikea. All one level. Helpful sales people available to answer question and help find things.
They use the worst delivery service ever. If you try to reschedule your delivery you are lucky if you are able to do it in your third try. It blows my mind they charge $50 in an era of free delivery and still do not take any responsibility for delivery issues casued by errors on their end. The store itself is always understocked and it is frustrating how they can never tell when the item will be in stock again.
Worst experience of my life. Over half of my order was not delivered and I have been brushed off and lied to at every turn in trying to get what I ordered. I am told at the end of every phone call that someone will reach out, but I am the one that has to call in every time to find out what is happening. And then what I am told never happens. Worst customer service and resolutions I have ever dealt with. It has been almost 2 months and I still do not have what I ordered. I know loosing my business does not affect them in the slightest, but you would think they’d care a little bit more about their customers. Disappointed and upset doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel.
I like going, it is good for a lazy Sunday filler or if you know what you want it is easy to make it a in and out trip. It also has a decent little food market and dinner good for a lunch while shopping or if you find something that you want to share you can buy it and take it home. All around there is a little bit for everyone at Ikea not just decently priced high quality furniture.
It is a huge maze. You will definitely find something to buy!
LOVE IKEA. First time in this particular IKEA and so glad we stopped. Just the coolest merchandise and sometimes crazy low prices. Cool stuff around every corner. Will definitely be back.
Well organized. Fun to walk through. Clean. Employees are helpful and kind. Everything is cheap. Never have been disappointed with anything we have bought. The furniture is not hard to build. They also have GREAT organizing ideas. If you want to “Marie Kondo” your house for cheap, this is the place to go. Food is great. Coffee is better than expected.Only negative: can’t easily go in and get something unless you know the store well. But I enjoy the walk and browsing.
A lot of the shelves were empty, but it’s still IKEA. Quality items for reasonable prices.
I love Ikea! You can find anything for your home, more than reasonably priced! However, they are always very crowded! They were also out of every single piece of furniture that I wanted to purchase! We just moved into our new house & I was looking forward to buying things for it, but I only walked out with some picture frames. Check out also had a long line and took quite a bit of time. I will still be back. Hopefully theres more stuff in stock next time!!
Big and contains everything youd need really, but its a bit of a maze, hard to find anything you want to buy. Took me 15 min to find the couches.
Always great customer service. Many items are “temporarily out of stock“ though :(
Its always fun to go to IKEA! I love looking at the different room set-ups. Unless you know exactly what you want, its never a quick trip. Its so easy to get sucked into browsing. We did walk the entire store, with ideas in our heads and purchased a few items while testing out others to get ideas for the future - you know how shopping works! At the end of our trip, we ate some meatballs (or veggie ones in my case). Food was good and they are taking Covid precautions (new glass for refills, little card at the table to flip after you use it so it gets cleaned, etc).
Always love Ikea. It was super busy tonight and the pick up team still managed to bring out my order in less than 20 minutes! Beautiful selection and reasonable prices!
Love this place, they have everything for your home
Its always nice at Ikea. It wasnt very crowded and it was a very laid-back atmosphere.
Overall, a decent experience.Although, most of the items we wanted were out of stock which was disappointing, theres usual something just as good in stock. Its a lot of work to shop here but its fun and theres nothing else like it!
Smaller than some IKEA stores, but still a fun experience every time!
A breeze to get to, park and shop. They have home delivery, so you get that couch! Stop at the Cafe for fantastic and reasonably priced food, and on you way out, grab some frozen meatballs for home! Follow the arrows and dont stop in front of people and youll have a great time shopping for furniture!
Everything I imagined! So much to see, definitely get a map. Cafe was tasty. Bummer that several items we came for were not in stock, but nice seeing everything assembled and on display. Found a deal in the as-is section (just before checkouts).
Yeah IKEA.. This store is always full of New Ideas. Love the creativity and a new viewpoint to designing my rooms..GREAT STORE ALWAYS...
Very cool place! They have everything.
We always go their on vacation. Daughter just love Ikea
Helpful staff and will organized store and layout. They were out of stock of a few items we were interested in purchasing.
They have it all. Items for every room in your home. Quality that lasts at affordable prices. The cafeteria food is yummy. Grab some chocolate cake
Loved Loved Loved. Great first experience. Margie who was working in the bedroom storage area was the best ever. She was soooooo patient. She designed my wall for me more than once and walked me through how to place my order and how to get a quote for someone to put the furniture together. I will definitely be back. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. 👍😊
