They dont have techs on site even though they still offer insurance that mentions bringing your phone into the store for repair. Theres always a ton of people waiting and 2 people working. This used to be the best place to go, but not anymore.

I will never darken their doorway again. I walked in there were several people standing around and two service techs waiting on customers. The woman calling everyone honey, took customers ahead of me apparently because I walked up to the desk and ask for help, and her partner took my name. She even went out side and brought in a couple that were there after me.I walked out after the 3rd person behind me was called.

Was told a 1 and a half hour wait. Currently at hour number 3 and still waiting. Only need a SIM card. Phone rep couldn’t help, online doesn’t work because the main line was transferred from Verizon so the “Account Owner” that exists for the secondary lines doesn’t exist anymore and adding a new Account manager doesn’t let me order a new one. Average time it takes for them to work through 1 customer is 1.5 hours although the same woman has been helped for 3 hours and counting. A walk in behind number 14 in line was helped by her friend that is an employee while others waited. The long wait times were attributed to “short staffing” but they only have 5 work areas and 4 people working at a snails pace on their pads or holding long conversations. During my time I’ve watched 6 people leave and 1 of those was an appointment that was pushed 2 hours back from waiting on them to finish the current customers and previous appointments. Avoid at all costs. You can do 90% of service on the Verizon website or phone representatives. Unfortunately, I was told by both a phone rep and the online help that I had to come to a Verizon store to regain access to my account and order my replacement card.Update: Service took no more than 5 minutes. Waited 4 hours.

They seem friendly. I went in because my phone keeps losing service or doesnt stay connected to the wifi and the guy suggested the sim card be replaced, but a couple of days went by and the sim card wasnt the issue. I dont know a lot about phones but I would have thought there couldve been more to do with the problem, but like I said I dont know a lot about phones lol

It took us two hours to try to pay my deceased sisters account and close it. They did take our money still not sure if her account is closed. The Verizon employee at this location was great, trying to help us cover all of our bases; however, when we had to call other offices for assistance, they acted like we were ignorant.

We came into the store to switch my husband’s brand new pro for the pro max. When we ordered it online, there was nothing advertising that there was even a max for the 12, so we ordered the wrong phone. The lady that asked what we needed kept talking to another employee & it was very uncomfortable. He was walking around stocking, instead of helping customers & she kept trying to get him to help. They both had attitudes & it was very unprofessional. So, now we’re sitting on the phone in the parking lot trying to get the phone exchanged through Verizon online. Every time we come to this store the employees are just unfriendly. A young man with dreads and a lady with long blonde hair, didn’t catch their names, just the attitude that they hate their job & dealing with customers. When people walk in with $1000 phones & $1200 tablets, maybe the employees should be more accommodating. Now I remember why I prefer Best Buy, or Sams Club. If Verizon didn’t have the best signal, which isn’t saying much for this rural area, we would have switched carriers 3 years ago.

My husband and I went in to discuss upgrading our phones and after waiting over 2 hours in the parking lot we met with David. He was extremely unhelpful and rude. We weren’t understanding a few things and he wouldn’t even try to help us get clarification. We ended up leaving frustrated without upgraded phones. We came back a few days later and had Doren as our associate. He was PHENOMENAL!! I wish there was a way to make an appointment only with him. He went through everything with us from start to finish and helped us feel comfortable with our news phones before we left. He worked with us for over 90 minutes helping us get all of our data transferred. If it wasn’t for Doren being so kind and helpful on our return trip, we would have switched phone carriers based on our previous encounter.

Worst customer service. I just bought a $700 dollar phone I have only had it since December 3rd the guy had no idea what he was doing cause when I got home it was all old messages from a old phone, lost all my new pictures and numbers so the very next day my alarm keeps going off at 5am every morning and no one knew why no alarms are on. I went to 6 different one of your stores and they claimed they “fixed it” went back today to the flint store the man at the door was very rude made me stand outside in the cold why he looked at my phone. He pulled up some weird thing told me to do it through there! I told him that I have been to every store and he says “well stop going to our stores” got in the car and had no idea what to do so my son took it up there to ask and he didn’t even know what to do! He sighed and said well I guess I can put you on the waitlist even though we can’t help you. Needless to say I left your store crying. So here I sit with a $700 brand new phone with an alarm that rings every morning at 5am. So I had to try to figure it out on my own. So I’m doing a factory reset which I will loose everything AGAIN. Not a very satisfied customer. Very sad no one could help me.

Went there and it was very impersonal, blan and slow.I bought a new iphone, screen protector, case, wireless charger, and a ipad. So I got quite a bit of stuff. The guy helping me name was Stephen.Seemed nice, but told me they don’t touch phones anymore because of COVID. So I left with my purchase to activate the new phone myself and install the new screen protector.I’m no professional and totally messed up the screen protector.... Waist of $50, in the trashThe phone & screen protector were new in the box so I don’t see why he was not able to touch it. Best Buy installs them. Maybe I should go back there.I don’t recommend lack of service to anyone so I wouldn’t recommend going here

They refused to help me with my phone, it wasnt working properly, and I was trying to get back west. My car was full so since I had no way of getting navigated back home because there was something wrong with my phone, I had to unpack and repack my car so I could sleep in it.Someone called the ambulance and cops and I was ripped away from my things and almost my dog, but he is a service dog so they let me bring him. When I asked for police identification I was handed a blank police department card. The police dumped out my purse and left me with dog food and supplies for my dog. I have items missing and my car is not working properly.Long story short I was abducted and my car was sent to a chop shop.

Needed a new phone, wasnt able to view them in the store due to covid. Ordered online and by my landline phone, which took a lot of extra time in comparison to shopping in store like the good old days. Could not go inside for pick up, had to stand out in the cold and wait. Good thing I didnt need assistance with backing everything up or setting up my phone, otherwise Id be one cold customer! Ive been with Verizon for years, and I recommend them as a cellular provider. 4 stars is because of the additional hassle stemming from covid.

Went in looking for help because our online service with Verizon was less than helpful/productive (our phones werent activating). Jimmy was amazing! Friendly & cheerful to the numerous customers, welcoming everyone who entered and helping or getting them on a list for more in-depth assistance. Even though we werent a store customer he helped get us in touch with the customer service dept. we needed and said to contact him again if we still had issues. I cant give a better review to any customer service Ive ever received! Go ahead, go in and meet him for yourself!! 😀

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went in to do a return and when I walked in there was no one waiting. I did not know that I had to sign in, so I went straight to the desk and waited for someone to help me. After about ten minutes of waiting a few more people came. The store associates greeted and check them in while continuing to ignore me. I finally flagged down one guy (had not, he wasnt going to check on me). I told him the reason for my visit and he said OK give me one moment. He walked in to back room, and I didnt see him for another 15 minutes. I didnt have all day, so I just left without getting any help. Very frustrating that they wasted my time!

Just switch to Verizon from T-Mobile because I wasnt getting any service in my job whatsoever and it seemed like I was paying for unlimited but everytime I would hit a certain level would slow down plus Ive been with T-Mobile since 2008 not going to say they did anything wrong but, they never offered any special deals for customers thats been with them forever . Ive had Verizon before and Ive always got great service so well see this is just the first I give them 5 Stars at the beginning well see how it goes over the next 60 90 days

Customer service at this location is basically nonexistent. We were helped by Jimmy who gave us erroneous information regarding a promotion, which ultimately is going to cost us over $1,000. In addition, the phone my husband purchased was not in stock in store, Jimmy refused to order the phone for us, and said we had to do so online. In hindsight, Im sure the reason it was done this way is because the information provided to us regarding said promotion was wrong in the first place. We were told by two additional employees the promotion would be applied so apparently no one knows what they were doing. Super frustrating, definitely do not recommend coming to this store.

Not real happy with store representative, he was pretty nonchalant, like he wasnt really interested in us but just making a sale ! Did not explain the new phone plan, just gave us a few numbers . Put a screen protector on wifes new phone and didnt clean it just wiped it off with his hand, needless to say the screen protector didnt stay on . When I went back about the screen protector coming off another representative told me nothing could do about it . We went into this store looking to switch providers. With the bogo deal they had going we didn’t want to pass it up, they would’ve cut our bill in HALF! I was beyond excited to set it up as a business account and get things going we told them we wanted iPhones. After I went over and spent my lunch hour waiting (without having time to stop and eat) and my fiancé spent over 3 hours after I left waiting just for them to tell us we don’t have the phones you want in stock.... I’m sorry-What? We waisted all of this time just for you to not even had what we wanted?!? Should’ve led with that!!!!! That should’ve been the first thing they told us. But instead they do not care about their customers. I called and spoke to the manager Scott and there was zero sympathy from him horrible customer service no apology for the wait time no nothing. We ended up going to at&t after waiting all of that time and walked out with new pro Max’s in under an hour. Along with a lower bill payment. Complete wait of time - would not recommend this store AT ALL. AT&T all of the way 🤷🏻‍♀️

If I could give NO STARS, that would be to many for the customer service. Not even month ago, we got a new phone, we had to bring it back, and of course they didnt have another. Wanted to either send us to Saginaw Mi to get one at 7pm at night; or we could be refunded our money which would take 3-4days, and order a new one, and pay for it. Then one guy, called and got one shipped, we have been here 3 times including today, and told 30 minutes well its been over 45 minutes. Took the ability of the store to remove lines away!!!! Waited 30 minutes only for them to hand me a sheet of paper with a number on it, only to be put on hold!! You will only find people who are bothered to help you and have no intention of doing more than they have to. 3rd time I have come in for help and both times Terri has told us sorry its not their problem and can not help us. Pretty pathetic service. Brought in a defective Pixel XL that wont charge, and the workers wouldnt even look at it. Ive had it for two months as a replacement for my original Pixel XL that had a defective screen. They just kept trying to sell me on an upgrade and refused any further help. I usually go to a Verizon store in Grand Rapids and despite Verizon acting like my $1000 cell phone is merely disposable, the employees at least managed to help. Not the case here whatsoever.

I have friends on Metro, Sprint, and AT&T who ask to use my when because they dont have coverage once we get into more rural areas.
