Kevin and team did a wonderful job refacing our kitchen. It looks brand new. We could not have been happier with the work that they did - and true professionals.The cabinets took some time to get in, but considering how busy the market is right now we werent surprised just axcious.Definitely would recommend.

We had been looking for someone to do a cabinet upgrade in our kitchen that would retain the lower existing ones to save our granite counter top. After seeing the results of a kitchen upgrade by Mid-America at a friends home we decided to go with them ourselves. We are extremely happy with that decision. Ken and Ron did an excellent job in a timely manner giving us cabinets that we are very proud of. They also did an install of a floor to ceiling cabinet system that replaced an old hutch which gave my wife the extra room for storage she had wanted for a long time. Kevin refaced our kitchen three years ago and we have had nothing but compliments and amazement that a refaced kitchen could look so classy, stunning, and new. We love the soft-close cabinets and drawers, all of the up-scale moldings, the efficiency of the easy, under-cabinet lighting, and can’t believe how useful and roomy the slide out drawers are. I expected a much better experience since we were told in the estimate appointment that Mid American continuously rates 5 stars. My kitchen was done two years ago after the Home Show. I suspect maybe they got so much business from the Home Show that they could not handle it all. Yes it is pretty overall but my kitchen was installed in a hurry with no regard for quality. Panels were put on crooked, hinges were put on the wrong side of doors and several drawers were installed crooked. I had another contractor fix 11 of the drawers. The boards that were put in to attach the drawers to were installed crooked which caused the drawers to not be level. They were off by 1/16 to 1/8 inch. He could not believe that someone installed them like that. Anyway, they are correct now thanks to that other contractor.One good thing is that when I contacted Kevin he fixed some mistakes, but if things were installed correctly there wouldn’t have been mistakes to fix. My kitchen redo was supposed to be an exciting project but to this day, two years later, every day I look at and hate that we paid over $20k for inferior installation. It was not a professional job. Kevin should be embarrassed by the work that was done to my kitchen.

My experience with Mid America Cabinet Refacing was excellent!! We needed the job done quickly and Kevin and his crew did a great job. We had new cabinet and draw fronts as well as a new counter top installed. The work was done well and very neatly. If in the future I need any cabinet work done I know who to call. We moved into a condo but I KNEW I couldnt live with the old painted cabinets (one of the few negative features about the place). After getting quotes for new cabinets, I contacted Mid America just to see what they had to offer. Kevin was nice and soft-spoken -- great to work with and no pressure.Ive seen video demonstrations of the process, but was skeptical. I didnt figure it was THAT easy. The price ended up being 1/3 of what all new cabinets would cost, so we went for it. The process was relatively clean (they cleaned up at the end of the day) and simple. Ive had new cabinets installed before -- a 4-5 week process. This took THREE DAYS. They added a 76 wide x 24-24 deep x 7 tall pantry that totally matches the refaced cabinets. The kitchen looks great and is finally functional. I can fit EVERYTHING in my kitchen -- nothing in the basement anymore. I am extremely happy with the results.

Kevin and Mid-America Cabinet Refacing is a stellar company. Their finished product looks spectacular and is about half the cost of having high-end cabinets installed. The work that he and his craftsman perform is top-notch. Kevin brought lots of samples. He had suggestions for an update for cabinets over the kitchen desk. Kevin is professional and easy to work with. He and his partner came on time...protected the floor...cleaned up everyday...and let my dog out when I was at work! When we installed the crown molding over the sink my curtain valance no longer fit. They cut the wooden valace down and made it work. Could not be happier! Call them!

There has been a struggle in our house for a while, we wanted to change our 23 year old cabinets. We knew we wanted to keep our current quartz countertops and our stone backsplash, if possible. Great design, Kevin has a good eye for color and design. My Mad Men kitchen is a combination of mid century and contemporary design. You would never know the boxes and frames were from contractor grade cabinets. Very cool and functional and as a bonus, very affordable.

Kevin and his team did an outstanding job on my 60 year old cabinets. I had gotten three bids on the job and Midwest was in the middle. The real difference is the beautiful base, cabinet and crown trim and moulding they installed. The other refacing contractors do not include that. The attention to detail shows. I had one very small problem with a door fit and Kevin came out the next day and fixed the problem. Start to finish was two days and their clean up excellent. I would recommend Midwest to anyone who is looking for value and quality workmanship.

They were very careful to protect existing wood floor and granite countertops. My husband and I have been remodeling our first home and have gone back and forth on what to do with our 1980s oak cabinets and orange-brown granite countertops. We looked into purchasing new cabinets and were quoted ~$25,000 with labor, which is more than we were wanting to spend. I found Mid America Cabinet Refacing on Angies List and was impressed with the great reviews and the quality of the work seen in the portfolio. Our first meeting for the initial bid went great. Kevin was on-time, friendly, and professional. He brought pictures of previous work along with tons of cabinet and countertop samples. He discussed pricing and options thoroughly and sent a copy of the bid over email. He was very informative and communicative throughout the process and our kitchen materials came in much earlier than the timeline he quoted. The kitchen turned out even better than we expected, looks like a brand new kitchen. The attention to detail was superb and the crew was extremely considerate and laid down cardboard to protect the wood floors and cleaned up after the job was complete, they even did a great job of cleaning up the garage where they used their equipment! Everyone who has seen the kitchen so far comments on how beautiful the cabinets look and what a great job was done. Its wonderful to work with a company that is so professional and obviously cares about the caliber and quality of the final outcome. Vey disappointed to read great reviews and not receive the same for my service. I was scheduled for a 9am appointment. No one showed up or even called to cancel or say that they were running behind. When I called I was told that he was calling the driver and would call me right back. (That never happened. 21 minutes later I called them back) Whomever I spoke with did not apologize and only tried to change my appointment date to Monday. Well my husband and I took off work today for this. I will not trust this company with such a huge job. Very disappointed.

AMAZING! The transformation in my kitchen has been spectacular. It is a small 10x12 kitchen and had the original 1970s brown cabinets. We could have replaced all of the cabinets, but would have put in thermofoil or MDF which isnt close to the quality of what was there (solid wood). Refacing was our best bet. Thats where Kevin and his team came in. We now have white cabinets with brown glaze and a shaker style door. They built a pantry and an island and a new cabinet above the refrigerator that extends over the refrigerator. You would never know the difference. The quality is phenomenal. I asked someone who used to work for Home Depot and he said HD puts in cheap, low quality refacing product. Not Kevin and his team. Only the highest quality materials were used. They cleaned up every single night so I could use my kitchen. They were careful every day and put down floor coverings so they didnt mess up the floor. They put in under cabinet lighting which adds even more light into my small kitchen. I cant stop smiling. This is the kitchen Ive wanted since we bought the house in 1997. I finally got it. And its beautiful.Now to Kevin Sulin. The man has integrity, skill and is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He comes into your home and makes you feel comfortable right away. If you want something he cant do, hell tell you. But hell also give you suggestions. He always has a solution. I thought he was just the salesman/owner. Nope - he came in and worked side by side with his guys every day.I could not be more pleased with the work Mid America Cabinet Refacing did.
