I’ve been going to Blue Sky for years. It’s a small family owned business. They are very knowledgeable about supplements and can help you find anything you’re looking for - including many vegan options.

This place is very rude. The owner or manager said “ if you knew what you were doing you would know you would only need hexane free”. My sister called to ask for organic Castor oil. It’s an yes or no question. Don’t have a business in a black area if this is how you are going to treat your customers. This place is rude and condescending.Save the time and effort and support a black owned business. My sister found exactly what she needed at African naturals.

Horribly rude people not spend you hard earned $$$ there. The customer service sucks.

This was our first visit to this store and it will surely be our last. We were not greeted when we walked in and the owner/worker continued to flip through her magazine. We asked questions about a product and she gave us a vibe and impression while frowning that we were disturbing her. She was very rude and nasty. I know for sure that race played a big part in the way we were treated, because other customers were asked if they needed help and were attended to with no problem. We did not buy the products because we will not give our hard earn money to a business like this. Please save yourself some time and frustration do not go there.

I like to support local businesses but I wont support a store that acts like a health oriented store yet none of the workers were wearing a mask during an international pandemic. Gross and unhealthy.

Customer service is very important. St. Louis is a great and diverse city. The same products offered here, I could find at a place such as Golden Grocer in central west end, for better prices and wonderful service. I was treated rudely here. That is not the kind of treatment I expect at a Natural Foods store.

Im wondering if their is an issue with race in this store? Went on 3/19 and had a bad experience. Cashier was not friendly at all. But the man in front of me received exceptional customer service.

Never going into this store again! None of the workers were wearing masks, there were none in sight, and no signs on the door that they required it. Really? In the middle of a pandemic? I want to support local businesses, but....no.

Extremely knowledgeable staff. Always friendly and helpful. The store has surprisingly reasonably priced products with a great selection. Prices comparable to the big box stores sometimes even less. Love this place!

I have been shopping here for a couple of years. Everyone is so knowledgeable. They dont try to sell you. They are ready and able to answer questions and give suggestions. I have been able to confirm information given by staff by my own diligent research. A great plus for north county.

I used to love this store. My son has skin allergies that make it hard to shop for hygiene products. This store made it really easy and has a great selection. I have stopped going now that I know what I like because it is so much cheaper on line.

So I just left the store with my 2 year old and whilst walking down a narrowing aisle I scratched my forearm enough to draw blood. I calmly told the woman that I had scraped my arm and attempted to show her the aisle and my arm. I was told that there was nothing that she could do and that I should have had my daughter in the cart. I presume holding her hand wasnt sufficient while in the store... I was about to drip blood and I had to prompt this woman for a napkin or a towel. Ive seen the same woman and the owner interact with Black people with same disrespect but always gave them the benefit of the doubt because I was never there to see how the confrontations began. But in this case where I was blamed for injuring myself, being a neglectful parent and the tone in which in was spoken to was totally uncalled for and as such they have lost my business. PERMANENTLY. They really seem to struggle with offering customer service to Black people and as such WE have no business giving them our hard earned dollars. Thank you for showing me what you are all about...Im sorry I didnt believe you on previous witnessed encounters. I got the message though.

First time going horrible service.who ever is minding the store she was rude and I felt like I was bothering her with questions about items, however I still made the purchase will be returning items. I will stick to my Dnc store.

Ill NEVER shop there again. I dont live far so I go there to buy my essential oils. I went there today with my 4 yr old. We were stared down by an employee the WHOLE time. Until I was asked for my daughter not to touch anything. My daughter who by the way was not disturbing or messing up anything. In fact she likes to organize and straighten things out when we are at the stores. I politely put the items I was going to purchase down and walked out. Its not even what the employee asked of me but how she followed us and looked at us the whole time. Im disgusted

The resent visit to this location was bad.The woman possible manager on duty told me in a very nasty way after I asked her a question, she walked away pointing with a loud tone and said he will help you. I asked sir five questions about what I was looking for and manager butt in every time speaking loud and with hate. I asked her twice is there a problem, manager didnt say anything. I walked out feeling people of color isnt wanted here.

At first I thought it was just me. But after seeing these reviews maybe I was right. It felt like some racial tension or at least horrible people skills. I will just shop where I dont have to worry about any of this.

Great variety! Every time I find something I want to try they have it. Small store but well stocked, foods, oils, herbs,teas. Prices are exactly what they should be, sometimes surprisingly cheap.

I have been to this store 3 times. They carry a lot of health foods, I love! But their customer service is unfriendly & cold. The older blond woman (employee) always stares me down! The stare she gives makes me so uncomfortable! She never says hi or thank you. What is wrong with her?! So I told myself, I wont support this business. I will just order online.

They lie just to make a sell. I was looking for a certain supplement and the guy that works there told me they have a similar brand. Once I got back home I read the box and it said something completely different. I came back to try and get a refund and they said I had to go to the distributor. Raised his voice at me and everything. Him and that lady are very rude and recommend no one buy from them. Especially not people of color. I felt very disrespected.

Very good little store. One of the owners is super nice. Ive been lucky to not meet the other one all the other reviews talk about.

I love this store they are knowledgeable & once she made a phone call to be more precise.No I admit she was not very friendly,but I dont care about that and long as she was helpful and knew the products.I will continue to shop there.

Terrible very snotty and rude I went there a year ago and it was the last time I ever went, when I went it and they asked what i was looking for which were vegan vitamins she started acting very rude and asking why I was vegan and that a teenager shouldn’t be a vegan and went in and in about it and the dude behind the counter made little remarks and so did the girl I can’t believe they aren’t out of business.
