We bring in one steer each year to slaughter and butcher. Even though it is only one animal, we are treated professionally, promptly and courteously. The employees are very pleasant and polite Thanks for a great experience and a beautiful freezer full of healthy beef.

This was absolutely the worst possible processing I have been ever had. Breakfast sausage are the size of polish links. Asked for the grind to be made into patties and got some kind of packaged meat, bacon was cut into chunks and wadded up stuffed in a package. I received the most pathetic cut of baby back ribs maybe 3 inches wide. I could understand if this was a runt pig but live weight was well over 350lbs. Roasts where not consistently sized. Cant even stack it in the freeze because the packaging is so awful. Most disappointing processing ever! I guess thats what you get when all the good processors are full. Would have been better off with home processing at least I would known I got the right pig. I will never use Atlas again.

Every package labeled tenderloin steak turned out to be stew meet. Check you meet closely before you leave.Edit. I revived 0 tenderloin streaks. Relabeling would not have changed the fact that someone else got my best cuts of meet. Employees ate good that night.

Clean facility, nice workers. Ive been very impressed by the quality of the cuts and the packaging these guys do.

Just picked up some meat there yesterday and Im incredibly amazed. Very satisfied with everything. Cant wait to cook it up! And I just want to give a shout out to the young lady that helped load everything into our truck :) Will definitely be coming back!

I started taking my animals here to be processed about a year ago, my customers and I love them so far. Everything is neat and vacuumed sealed and they have great customer service. Definitely recommend Atlas Meat, keep up the good work!

I have been using Atlas Meat Company now for about 5 years. Juan and his staff are amazing. Always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The place is Spic and Span clean. Vacuum sealed wrap is the way to go. No leaks and you can see what you have. USDA Inspection on-site. Cuts come out exactly as you like. I sell some whole cows to my friends and neighbors. I deliver the animals to Atlas, and my customers pick up the finished meat. All say that Atlas treats them very well when they go in, and I have many repeat customers.Give them a try with your next processing order, you will not be disappointed.Thanks Juan, Atlas and Staff!

We are taking our meat there next week, so I will write another review when we get it, but these guys were AMAZING. So friendly and accommodating! I have dealt with lots of processors and I am so excited to be working with them. Just wanted to give a shout out from the get-go. Good guys.

Please be careful when you take your animals to these people! Why ask people if you would like the heads and other trimmings if you are not going to provide them! I honestly feel like they never looked at the processing forms! I will not be taking any more animals here and I hope other people do their research and dont sent their animals here either!

The people here are great! They’re so sweet & helpful. Love the way they package the meat & I also love how nice they keep the place. Very professional and neat, this is the place to go!

I see lots of bad reviews talking about they didnt get all the meat they were supposed to get complaining. Maybe you should do some research before you take your animals anywhere to get processed. Dont blame a company when you dont even know the facts. Next time if you want the the full weight of your animals then take the feet, the skins, the head, everything. DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE. Nothing more annoying then people who think they know more than the professionals.

Always a great experience with Juan and his staff. Never disappointed if they make a mistake they try their best to make it up to you, but never see any mistakes really. Highly recommend this place. Been taking my animals here to be processed for 3 years.

Awful service. They dont answer the phone and when they do they are short with you and hard to deal with. We took 5 pigs in for cuts and could barely get any information from them. After that we tried to take 2 more pigs in for a pig roast and they waited until we showed up with the pigs to tell us that they cant scald them and would have to skin them. We talked to them 3 different times about bringing in the roasters and they chose not to tell us they couldnt properly prepare them until we showed up with the pigs in a trailer. Thanks for wasting our time and money Atlas Meats. We will never be back, there is clear reason we were warned against going to your dirty, poorly run facility.

So whats your hygiene policy? Seems a bit strange to let employees wear their muck boots and hair nets out of your facility and into an uncontrolled environment like the McDonalds at Mulberry and I-25. Raises sanitation questions for me, especially now that there is animal blood on the booth seat they were sitting in.

The jurys out but it appears me and several other families have been cheated out of much of our meat as well. Id love to see this rectified but so far it looks bad. Be careful.Edited to say that after doing some more research I understand a little better the hanging weight vs. finished weight, however, the discrepancy was never quite resolved, it still seems that the percentage of meat we took home was on the low end. I got a call from Atlas saying they hoped to fix the problem, initially, but what ended up to be more accusatory, condescending, and a bit of a chew-out that I would dare leave a negative review.The problem for me is that the jurys still out on whether we got a fair deal on our meat or not, and the customer service left a lot to be desired. The packaging is all nicely sealed and very clean.

We took in 3 hogs and got very little meat, hardly any bacon. we didnt get the things we ordered. very disappointed. will not be going back.

We purchased a whole steer from a ranch in Wellington and Atlas meats was so quick, professional and well organized when we picked up the meat. Their small but size doesnt matter to them.
