I tried 2 other companies before spencer brothers and they were unable to fix my garage or booked out and couldn’t help me for a week plus. Dakota was the tech who showed up the day after I called them. Very professional, efficient, punctual, and well mannered! The price they quoted and fixed it for was very fair considering how happy I was with the service.

Avery was excellent!! We had 2 broken springs... we placed a call at 7:00 on a Sunday night and He showed up in less than an hour. He was prompt and professional. The work was done very quickly. He gave us a safety inspection and tightened all the loose screws and bolts on the door for free afterwards.I know if I’m in trouble in the future who to call, and with a price like this, you will too!

I called this afternoon for a broken spring on my garage door. They came out within 2 hours. I was happy to find the springs were still under warranty from when they replaced the garage door about 5 years ago. I highly recommend them!

Avery did a great job on our garage door. A spring had broken and he repaired it on the spot. I inquired about special on rollers and he fixed both of these, reinforced the bracket, and did NOT recommend a new opener even though my brand and style were his least favorite! Job well done!

Spencer Brothers installed my garage door several years ago and did an excellent job. Recently I accidentally backed out of my garage before the door was completely up and pulled away some of the rubber liner. I contacted Spencer Bro’s and they responded immediately- great customer service.

Very quick reply to my email inquiry and scheduled to come out that day to get two garage doors working that have been manual use only for years. One was in bad enough shape I wasnt sure it could be fixed to be used with a motor again. Spencer Brothers are just like their name describes, a family that you can count on! I was traveling out of state and my family at home reported a broken garage door on a very cold and snowy day! Avery took my call early and had the repairs done quickly and with quality! I appreciate them so much!! They are my “go to garage guys”!!!

I called and spoke with Avery who then immediately scheduled a technician for the next day. He was intelligent, knowledgeable and friendly on the phone. The following day Avery called to let me know ahead of time that his technician was held up on another job and that Jason would be there as quickly as possible. Jason had everything he needed for the job and completed it in a short amount of time. We tested the garage door and it worked perfectly. I was terrified because of the age of the door and the old hardware that is would get bound up like it always did. It didnt. Jason assured me that once installed the new torsion spring would correct that problem and it did. The new spring coupled with new nylon rollers made the door almost completely silent. Amazing! Way to go guys!

Avery came out to our house at the last minute notice from us- Fixed what my husband and I thought would be a small problem but ended up going above and beyond by adjusting and finely tuning the garage door because he didnt like the way it sounded while closing. And he did it all at no cost! Our garage door is better than ever now. Weve used Spencer Brothers before and we will definitely continue using them. Fast, genuine service and everyone is always so friendly.

Very prompt service. I needed an additional garage door opener system (so that the single-bay door opened independently of the double-bay door), and some extra remotes for my vehicles.They came out to give an estimate a few hours after I called, and installed my new garage door openers the following afternoon. Nice guys, the quote was spot on to the final invoice, and everything works.

Avery made my day! I was frantic and on a tight deadline to replace an old garage door before tenants move in to my rental property. I was desperately looking online when I found Spenser Brothers. I am a landlord living in California and my property in need is in Colorado. I was impressed that Avery called me back promptly, headed straight over, gave me a great estimate with many options, and when I decided to go with one he said it could make it happen today! The relief I felt was enormous. When done replacing the door he sent both before and after photos. I paid by credit card, it was SO easy! Very prompt. Put in more equipment than he estimated in the first price but stuck to the original price. Offered to come on Sunday night when it stopped working. Very reasonable price. I got his name from another referral and am happy I took this.

Really incredible service. I had my car stuck in my garage and he came out late at night to insure that I could get my car out for work in the morning. He didnt even charge me for that, and then came back the next day and did a full repair and a tune up. He fixed a few things for free that I didnt even know were an issue, and even replaced the eyes that protect you if something is under the door because mine had broken during the repair (due to age, not his fault). I HIGHLY recommend them. If youre wondering how you can trust a company youve never used and just found on Google, heres your answer.

The tech came up to my house at Horsetooth just an hour after I first called. We decided to replace the whole opener system, so he drove back into town to grab the needed parts and returned promptly to finish the job that same afternoon. The tech was friendly, and seemed to do great work. A+ !

Called these folks after reading all the great reviews Google. Had issues with my controller not working, Josh came out to my place and fixed it, after some quick head scratching and reprogramming he replaced the unit and it works great. Super nice guy, friendly! Reminded me of Claudio Sanchez from Coheed and Cambria, but Josh didnt sing as he worked! I recommend Spencer Brothers and would call them again if needed.

I recently upgraded my garage door through Spencer Bros and Im very happy with the entire experience. I did some research and liked what I saw with this company. Avery came out on a weekend, was on time, and prepared to show me options within my budget. What stood out to me was his good communication from the time of order to install. I knew every step of the way what was happening, when my door would arrive, etc...The installation was thorough, meticulously executed, and the guys made sure I was satisfied before they left. The springs on my garage door broke. I called Spencer Brothers on a Saturday morning and I was told that they would have someone at my house between noon and 1. I couldnt believe that they would be able to get to me on the same day even on the weekend. I asked how much it would cost and it was the same price as a weekday. Around 12:30 Chad knocked on my door and got right to work. He was done in under an hour and I have a working garage door again! I was very impressed. I had a great experience with Spencer Brothers Garage Doors and I will call them again when I need more work done.

Our garage door broke over the weekend, so we waited until Monday morning to deal with it. My hubby called them and they responded quickly, showed up fast, and gave an accurate quote. The service tech Josh was friendly and knowledgable.

Terrible customer service, first time we delt with them they made an appointment time and never showed up. Finally got ahold of someone the next day and they did show up 4 hours after appointment time. I can understand people are busy so we gave them another try today for a broken spring. Made an appointment time for 4 o’clock and once again failed to show up. If you want to be treated like you don’t matter as a customer and have time to waste waiting for them to show up then Spencer Brothers is your company. If you value your time and want a garage door company with integrity take your hard earned money elsewhere.

The company does business the old fashioned way with integrity and trust. Long story short...they invested a lot of time and troubleshooting effort to resolve a drive motor problem to save me money. When the replacement parts didnt fix problem they had to come back a third time with a new motor. I am out of state, and they didnt bill me for any work until everything was working and in tip-top shape. The first repair guy they sent needed help figuring things out. Make sure you ask for Avery...you wont get more knowledgeable, honest hard working repair person!Bob H.

Update: so after getting another opinion, this individual came and fixed the garage door fully operational for $40!!DO NOT USE SPENCER BROTHERS!!After 4 weeks and waiting because Chad told me, the door was discontinued and would have to find the parts from overseas. I find out 4 weeks later, there was never no attempt to order parts. Chad failed to advise his boss and put the situation on the solved pile without clearing up the parts issue w me. Chad even sent me a text message about which texts he was going to order.This company just cost me time and more $$$,Definitely never doing business or recommended anyone to them.

Last fall I had my garage door spring break. Spencer brothers had a tech over and had the door repaired all in about an hour. A few weeks back, I called them again to address a tilt in the door that had developed. Avery himself came by and did the adjustment with no charge all again within an hour.

My garage door decided it wanted to become a guillotine and come down almost on my nephews head. Luckily it didnt. But it looked like it broke a spring, and the rollers came off their tracks, and the safety cable came off on one side. I called a few places up to get quotes. One was very high, and 2 others wanted $ to come out and give me an estimate. Another place said they can come out in 2 weeks.I had one local company come early in the day and give me the first estimate. It seemed really high. prices for replacement springs were double or more what you can get it for your self at a local hardware store.I called Spencer Brothers after seeing some positive reviews around the net. Avery came out same day, told me the items the other guy who came out earlier said needed to be replaced, didnt actually need replacing. Imagine that. He pointed to parts and what looked like a broken spring and explained it all to me so I could understand it.Avery said he could fix this up in about 30 minutes or so. Since the springs were very old now and the rollers too, I said just go ahead and replace all that. He gave me a great price, fixed it right away and now Im a happy camper. I reccemend this company for their honesty, fast service, and great prices.

Never Showed Up or Returned Phone Call about status of our Appt. We set up an appointment Friday night (9/15) for Saturday morning. After waiting an hour, we left a message on their phone with our phone # and asking about the status of our appointment. We still waited for them to show up, possibly late after reading another review online where they showed up at 5 pm for a 10 am appointment. Never received a call back and they never showed up. Not professional.

This is a very shady, terrible company. Let me tell you why: We scheduled an estimate on Monday, 9/25 with a fellow named Chad who works for this company. He came out, looked at the damage and quoted me $850 as well as saying that its going to have to be another day for the actual job to be done. We waited till Wednesday for them to call us back to set up and appointment but never did. We called twice and left a message and never heard back. Thursday, we called Mikes Garage Doors and gave me an estimate around 10am and were here by 3pm, installed the replacement door by 5pm for a $130 cheaper. Spencer finally calls Friday, asking for payment for a garage door they never set up an appointment to even install. I would choose Mikes over Spencers any day.Edit# in response to Spencers reply #1I still have the recording from 11:52 am Friday morning from Spencers saying I owe them money on a garage door they never installed. I also have the receipt from Mikes Garage after I paid for installing the new door the day before. I am a customer of Mikes Garage, this is not a hoax and I have proof to deny Spencers claim. One day my garage door opener quit working on me so I call Spencer brothers and they came out the same day inspected my door and determined that my opener was fried and by the end of the day I had a new opener and new rollers and my garage door has never sounded better.
