Michael is an absolute joy to deal with. He is very polite, respectful and considerate. He keeps in touch throughout the process and you sense that he appreciates your patronage no matter how big or small your budget may be. I would definitely recommend.

I met with Mr. Doug and his wife and they were very helpful, truthful, accommodating, patient and friendly. The prices are great and hard to beat. The food was delicious and definitely a crowd pleaser. I had the salmon, Chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies,Ceasar salad, and rice pilaf. All well seasoned and my guests loved the food.

We called Douglas K. Catering and spoke to Michael, We talked about the menu and everything that was needed. We upgraded the services. This was for our wedding. Jennifer arrived on time, set up and was very professional. She served the food and it was at perfect temperature for our guests. All of our guests commented on how good the meal was down to the corn bread. Wow! The food was awesome, compliments to the Chef, she nailed it. . At the end, Jennifer put what littel food was left over in containers. We highly recomment this company not only for there professionalism and communication, but their attention to food quality. A+. This is my honest feedback...and happy to support/recomment them again.

What a fantastic experience! We had them cater our Christmas luncheon for a small group of 12 employees in December 2019 - they were so accommodating even with our smaller group. Michael had several suggestions - we ended up getting the ham w/ pineapple/ stuffing/ mashed potatoes & gravy/ mac n cheese/ almond green beans. EVERYONE raved about how great the food was! Michael, where do i begin ...we have worked together for almost 15 years now. We have done events from 15 to 150 people. Everything is always wonderful !  Michael, you and your staff did an amazing job for Matthew and Anastasia wedding.   The food was delicious and the displays were fabulous . Our favorite is still the tomato bisque and grilled cheese shots! This was the third event within five months that we have done together. Doug Catered a 22 person work retreat for us and it could not have gone better. 6 meals were delivered over the course of the weekend and everyone of them was delicious - highlights were fajita night and the gyro lunch.Its not often you come across a company like Dougs. Hes a super nice guy that is very detail and service-oriented. Great communicator, honest person, and delivers whats communicated. We had 1 person with dietary restrictions and her food came in a separate container with her name on it, for example.The staff that delivered not only laid the food out, but unwrapped everything, set up coffee, stirrers, etc, and left things 100% ready for the crowd.Cant say enough. Support this company!

All I can say is AMAZING from begininning to end. We had a problem with the restaurant where we were having the party at the very last minute. I had 90 people coming to my birthday party. I found Douglas K Catering through google and they had great reviews. Well everyone was right. We called 2 days before my party and they took over. We are a large national construction management company with our head quarters in Wilton Manors, Florida. We held an open house event for our South Florida employees and their guest. Douglas K Catering catered the entire event to include tables and table-clothes, DJ, floral arrangement, full staff with bars and bartenders. I worked one-on-one with Michael, the manager and co-owner, to coordinate the entire event for about 200 people. The event was spectacular!!! The food was phenomenal, the staff was professional, well dressed, and was the most efficiently run event. Days later praises on the food and caterer keep coming!! I will, with out a doubt, use Douglas K Catering again and highly recommend them for your most special or important event. Did I say the food was phenomenal?!!!!!!!!!! Hint, chicken and waffles!

Great customer service and food was good

We used Douglas Caterering for our Rehearsal Dinner. Planning from Pa was not difficult at all. Doug was incredibly great to work with. Phone calls and email were prompt. My son and daughter In law flew in for a tasting and were impressed right away. With delivery and pick up there were no issues and the food was fantastic. They did the set and and made sure everything was perfect. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for the perfect caterer to handle any special occasion. The best Shepard’s pie I’ve ever had in my life!!!We just had them cater a party for us and they were on time, professional, and easy to work with. The cookies and banana cake were also a hit!!! He is very reasonable and you get a lot of food. Thanks Doug and family!!!

Ive been using Douglas K Katering for several years and they are so awesome. By far, the best catering service. Not only are they exceptional people but there food is so yummy!!! Ive referred them countless times and they never disappoint. We just had our daughters birthday party catered by them and everyone raved about the food, especially the mac and cheese!!!

Michael was incredibly helpful and considerate when my family hired Douglas K Catering for my grandmother’s funeral service. Her sudden passing just before 4th of July meant that booking food service was difficult. This company was amazing. The food was delicious and creative, and the service staff was fantastic. Used Douglas K Katering for my husbands 40th Birthday. Amazing selections of food. So easy to deal with the company. They arrived right on time and wow what a set up. Used them a few days ago for a party for 70. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Cake (Pina Colada cake) was the very best ever!!Delivery time exact and driver set it all up. WONDERFUL!

I worked with Douglas Katering recently for a business event in Boca. The whole experience was perfect. They made it very easy to do business with them in a location that was I was unfamiliar with. I would highly recommend working with their talented staff in the future.

I hate to be the fly in the ointment but my experience was less than stellar. The two stars is because the food was excellent. However I think that anyone using them ought to know a few things. Firstly they charge a 3.5% surcharge for using a credit card. And I got 2 days notice of this. Secondly, if you use their staff they count the time that the staff sets up as part of the 5 hour minimum even though if you dont get their staff they have to set it up anyway. So I lost an hour there . The second person was almost a hour late and lied about what time she came. And she needed to go to Publix to get something to rectify a mistake they made. I tried to reconcile this with Doug who flatly refused to make absolutely any accommodation. Will not use them again which is a shame because they have many colleagues of mine as a client.

Our wedding was amazing and I can not stress enough how well organized they are with amazing food and outstanding service. I have used them for some many events and will continue to in the future.

Douglas K catering is a professional full-service caterer with fresh, quality food and top of the line service. They just hosted our employee event for 200 people. Michael came out to our location, walked the site of the event, provided suggestions and listened to our needs. Prior to event day he provided a schedule for set up and delivery of the florals, tables, dj and food tent. The food was prepped on-site! Our employees were extremely satisfied with the menu options and food quality. Our executive team was pleased with the event and appreciated that Michael was on-site with his catering team throughout the entire event. More importantly, he considered all of the details and matched our brand. His crew was courteous and very professional. We opted for passed appetizers and 2 wine/beer stations. The staff kept all the cocktail tables cleared of trash at all times. We were extremely pleased and will be using them again for future events.

Could not ask for more. I will be forever grateful that my then-fiancé found Douglas K while we were planning our November 2013 wedding. Huge thanks to Michael & co. for making things so easy and effortless for us! Douglas K Katering was recommended to me by a co-worker who used them for a function and I have to say it was a pleasurable experience from the moment I contacted them! As a Personal Assistant, I was given the task of planning a Graduation party for over 100 guests on December 8th 2012 with just under four weeks notice and I had no clue as to what it would take to make it happen, but Michael at Douglas K Katering made the experience relatively painless! He not only took time to come and see the home where the party was to take place weeks prior after just one phone call and ZERO deposit, but came up with an excellent menu that needed very few adjustments! He even guided me as to how much Wine and liquor I would need to purchase and was pretty much right on the money! The night of the party, The staff arrived on time and was so friendly and courteous, constantly checking on each and every single guest to make sure that their glass was full and that they also had a chance to try all the appetizers! If someone wanted Chicken Skewers but they had already come and gone, the girls made sure to make that person a priority when the next batch was ready. Every single item that came from the kitchen was absolutely DELICIOUS and well thought out! Not to leave anyone out, the two bartenders did a great job handling the mob of folks trying to get a drink all the while maintaining a smile, and no one had to wait more than just a few minutes. Now thats what I call excellent service! When the celebration was over, breakdown and cleanup was a breeze! The staff took care of everything and was totally on their a-game even after more than 4 hours of non-stop work which included set-up. So would I recommend them to anyone looking for a quality, affordable but most of all PROFESSIONAL catering service where your guest will be treated like rock stars? IN A HEARTBEAT! I love eating here, the owner Michael is so nice and provides a natural, organic feel to the staff. If you go in ask him about all the non-menu house specials. Their chef prepares a few meals everyday that arent advertised. They are AMAZING!

Not only is this team professional and fun, they went above and beyond to be sure our party was a memorable success and the food was delectable!As usual, food makes or breaks an event but thanks to this caterer, we still have people talking about the choices that were collaborated on with Doug, who is an expert in his own right. Our group dined on Barbeque Baby Back Ribs and Roasted Chicken that melted off the bone and right into one’s mouth. This was accompanied by a delectable Signature Salad with walnuts, cranberry raisins and crumbled Gorgonzola (that we now plan to order for future catering events), a 5-Way Mac n’ Cheese that made adults and kids alike go back for seconds and gourmet cupcakes that several of us smuggled out for an evening treat.The chef was on hand preparing everything for guaranteed freshness and anytime I looked the way of the service staff, they were there to assist me. Personally I have worked with caterers that last 18+ years for corporate events, but not one took the time to make certain every detail was perfect, whose team assisted in even helping me decorate when timing was not on my side and Doug personally made it his priority to keep us on budget while offering a few suggestions for our holiday event.If you are in search of a caterer, do not waste your time looking elsewhere. Douglas Catering provided me with a service that would be unmatched and a recommendation I have looked forward to making again!

Great friendly staff and super fresh food

Im going to just stop you here now and say LOOK NO FURTHER. This company is such a hidden gem, and youd be foolish not to use them as your caterer. My husband and I got married in Florida, but we live in Michigan so we were planning all from afar. We werent able to try the food before our wedding day, but rest assured that did not matter. Everything was delicious! Our guests are still talking about the food and the ambiance which Douglas K Katering helped to achieve. I worked primarily with Michael, (although we worked with Doug a tiny bit too and he was great and such a nice guy as well!) and Im pretty sure we exchanged about 200 emails before my wedding day. I had a very specific vision as to what I wanted, and Michael helped execute it PERFECTLY. He was always available to answer my zillion questions, and he really did pay attention to every last detail. I just couldnt be more pleased with his services. This company set me up with a fantastic florist and a cake vendor. I gave them specific info on what I wanted and they worked with those vendors on my behalf to make sure we got what we wanted. It was amazing. They also provided all of the chair and table rentals and set up and tear down was flawless. They really do it all. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. This company far exceeded my expectations, all of the food was delicious, made sure our wedding day went smoothly, and made it very memorable. They were prompt, personable, and made sure everything ran without a hitch. These are things you need and want to happen on such an important day. The value is incredible. After searching around for a while it was obvious to me that many catering companies over-inflate prices for weddings, but Douglas K Catering does not. Their company was worth every penny we spent.
