My experience with Wild Fork Foods is limited to on-line shopping experience. I saw a promotion on one of the social media sites and took advantage of the first order ships free.I loved the wide variety of products offered, budget-friendly pricing, availability of natural, no antibiotics meat, duck, and poultry and wild-caugt seafood and fish.The packaging was perfect, no complaints.Why the four-star rating then? I was happy with my first order and decided to shop for more products only to discover that Wild Fork doesnt ship to NJ and almost all stores are located in FL. So whats the story behind my mysterious first order?PS. I am able to shop via social media platforms (such as Facebook) but not directly via Wild Fork Foods website.

I placed an order and was up charged like 80 more dollars. The excuse was to accommodate for the amount that will be shipped. The site shows price per pound and the weight received. If they cant get close to the weight they state on their site when they ship then they should not be in business. Dont get my wrong I understand being charged a little more to accommodate but 80 bucks

So Ive been shopping at this location for awhile and turned my meat loving friends onto it too. While I only eat chicken and fish, its a great concept and value. My friends who live in the Bahamas especially love it because they get quality meat, frozen properly, that they can take home with them on a short flight home. My latest stop was for the chimichurri seasoned steak and lobster tails for a football tailgate this weekend but of course I couldnt resist picking up other stuff! Yucca fries, grilling cheese, empanadas, chicken. I had a cart full and still only spent $130. With prices increasing everywhere, I still feel Wild Fork has good deals.

I was expecting an expensive speciality shop but it was so much more. A very good selection and the prices were competitive. So dont judge a book by its cover like I did. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful!!

Ordered on 9/18 and chose delivery on 9/21. Not delivered as of 9/23 10PM. No problem. Called and first rep either hung up or lost connection after asking if I was told about a dry ice shortage which I wasnt. No call back. Second rep said he would call UPS and warehouse to find out why UPS said they didnt receive shipment. Said he would call me back. Didnt ask for number and no call back.While this is going on, I was billed and subsequently refunded for $186 on a $115 order, but did not get any indication that the order was or even has been cancelled. WF site shows still waiting on UPS.I understand stuff gets messed up sometimes, but to be hung up on, given the run around, and have my emailed questions not even be read and go unanswered in a stock response is frustrating.All this and I still dont have the food I was planning to make for guests this weekend.

This is my favorite Wild Fork store. Well stocked and beautifully organized. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Make the drive up from Miami Beach once a month - its worth it!

Not sure how I found this site but am happy I did. First order was 2 weeks ago and got some stone crab claws and a few steaks just a small order and was very pleased with the quality and fast delivery. I placed another order a few days ago and received it yesterday, again very pleased. Pricing is excellent, quality is great and delivery is outstanding. This will be my go to place for meats and perhaps other items havent seen the the entire inventory yet. 😊😄

I shop here every other week for my New York strip, Rosemary French Lamb, shrimps, flap steak, hanger steak and chicken leg quarter. Every week I try something new and Ive never had some I didnt like. Im so glad I live right down the street from this Wild fork. Good price and awesome food. The staff is always helpful and happy. The employer must be doing something right. My neighbor is the one that turn me on to it and Ive turned so many people on to it. Ive never met someone who didnt love this place!

I just finished serving their seasoned brisket. I will NEVER make mine again. (Im 75) outstanding!!!! Everything I buy there from meat to dessert is awesome. They have small individual pks of spices that are perfect.. I LOVE THIS PLACE..

I purchased their lamb for stew and the pieces are very small and a lot of it appeared to be scraps. They described the lamb pieces as 1-2 chunks but not one piece was that size in fact, there were a lot of pieces that were 1/2 or smaller in size. I do not recommend buying this product because its not what they describe.

Quality has been getting worst by the time compared to when they first started as this store was one of the first ones and the price gets higher each day, first they used to put pricing on the products and now it’s by weight, however, some products do have price and when it’s registered in the cashier it’s another price and it’s higher!! This is now constant and there’s always excuse. Higher pricing and lower quality, it’s sad how a business gets some popularity and then just prioritizes profit vs quality

My 1st order was small quantities of everything and I was so happy. Fresh frozen makes it easy to use when you need too. I loved the lobster that I added to my recently bought lobster bisque. My neighbor enjoyed the seasoned 🐌.Ill be ordering more and larger sizes. Delicious everything. Yummy 😋

Excellent overall experience. UPS Shipping arrives on time as promised. so what the hey, its FROZEN. Three surprise gift orders were well received. SUGGESTION: Figure out a way to add smaller stuff to boxes to fill underused space. Fresh spices, BBQ sauces and other complementary items for what has been ordered. I see changes at the website so some of that is going on. Stop getting better and you stop being good. This company gets it!

Had the Mahi and Flounder, both frozen past their time and had their “Chilean Sea Bass,, tasted like oily Mackerel not Sea Bass . Will never buy again. Bought because of FREE SHIPPING. BIG Mistake..

I just received my first order and I couldnt be happier! Everything was frozen solid and shipped in small cooler. The macaroons are amazing, Im not gonna lie I ate the whole box in one sitting. Will definitely order again soon.

This is based on my first order, 3 lbs elk and 2 lbs bison. From the time I hit the site to final message we have received your order was 10 minutes. Shopping online was extremely easy, website worked perfectly. Ordered at 1300 Friday, received on doorstep at 1100 Saturday. All items were still completely frozen. Quality was above what I expected and I paid 1/2 the cost from other wild meat vendors. Free shipping?!?!?!?! Yes! Already planning a second and third order.

I have not had the chance to try the food I bought from this location yet but the customer service I recieved at this particular location was EXTREMELY poor.(1451 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304) I spend over 200$ dollars a week on grass fed beef and I went to this location because it is the closest to me but the woman working the cash register on 7/11/21 @1:30 PM was very rude for absolutely no reason. I will never use this location again.

ONLINE OUT OF STATE ORDER REVIEW. I am so impressed with the packaging and service so far. I placed the order from Ca. on Monday and it was suppose to be delivered Wednesday. UPS messed that up and delivered today Thursday. I was so worried that I was going to receive a cooler of thawed nasty warm meat. Because the package sat over night at the UPS warehouse. But nooe it arrived completely frozen and it still had 2 bags of dry ice left. The meat looks amazing Alligator, Pork shoulder and goat

Everything arrived fresh, frozen and in perfect order. There was a one day delay in shipping due to lack of dry ice, but they were communicative and professional. I will definitely be ordering meats again from here.

I ordered A5 Wagyu steaks, and I was skeptical because it was my first order with them. The steaks were much larger than expected, beyond marbled, and extremely delicious. Packaging was great, shipping was fast, and my steaks were frozen solid when delivered. I will be a repeat customer.

Found wild fork while looking for a delivery for meat tonight made theveal chops they turned out excellent. extreamly happy,very tender I will be ordering more soon.

Great Proteins at a great price.

Our first order was Sushi grade salmon and chicken. The chicken was good butunder weight . The salmon was freezer burnt or re froze and the cryovac packaging not sealed with will allow bacteria to enter the fish. The third order was one 13lb brisket and 1 3.5 lb picanha. The brisket was7.12 pounds and the piranha was 2.1lbs making our order over $30.00 short on beef. The customer service replied to my email and said we cannot control the size of your or weight of the meat when shipped. They made no attempt to rectify by crediting the next order. We were foolish to believe the good reviews on Facebook and Google so we are out $30.00 of food. Another scam company taking advantage of seniors, veterans and poor people during the pandemic.Sincerely screwedJames Brandimarto

It’s a shame they started out so good..I feel bad that I referred Wild Fork to so many people when they originally opened. Now they not only raised the prices through the roof this last year, they are trying a new way to be sneaky by removing the prices from the meats packaging and only printing the weight, either because the they are raising the prices so fast they can’t keep up with the price stickers or they just think leaving the price off the meats that most people won’t take the extra time to do the math on each item. I suppose the price per lb. does look more appealing at first glance than the total cost.Just looks like unscrupulous marketing in my opinion

This place is simply amazing. I was buying my ribeye from Restaurant Depot before finding out about Wild Fork Food but this changed pretty fat when the prices are similar without having to clean and throw away a lot of unuseful parts.

I’ve ordered from them a few times now. The meat products are good quality. But the delivery is subpar. They’ve delivered the wrong order to me twice. Most recently (today) they delivered the wrong order. I called and let them know that I received the wrong order. They said they wouldn’t be able to get me the correct order until tomorrow. Unfortunately, the food was supposed to arrive tonight so that I could cook it for lunch tomorrow, since I am having guests over. I explained that to the representative (Avery?), and he said they couldn’t do anything for the inconvenience.He also asked me to leave the other order I received outside for Postmates to pick up - after I told him I had inadvertently opened the bad with the food (before I knew it was the wrong order). It makes me question wild forks hygiene practices especially with Coronavirus going on. Are they they just going to sell that to someone else? Seems questionable to me...I will definitely think twice before ordering wild fork again. It’s a shame because the products are good and the pricing is good, but the customer service is subpar. That’s why I’m giving them 3 stars.

This is not a comment about the quality food but rather the bad experience related to curbside pickup. I texted upon arrival and received no response at all, ended up having to go inside with my child, taking him out of his car seat and going through the same hassle as if I went in normally but instead, wasting 15 minutes to do so as I waited.

First time ordering and last time! Couldnt seem to ship my order on time although I was under the impression it was being DELIVERED. After calling to find this out and being told it would be here the next day I waited. Next day, nothing! Called again to be told my order was cancelled following the previous days phonecall with no reason. So my wifes cookout planned and postponed was ruined. Nice selection of various types of meat. Although some of the meats look weird as its air packaged for peak flavor. So keep in mind if you plan to use it for dinner it must be thawed.Tip: Ask for the specials and dont forget to pick up your frozen herb cubes for seasonings.

I cant speak to the actual brick and mortar locations... But I ordered online and got a cooler with no dry ice, a bunch of blood and nearly room temp meat. Kind of screws up some plans I had to grill this in a couple days. They issued a refund and said to reorder at my earliest convenience, so I guess I get my money back, have to get rid of the meat and figure out new plans. I could have just skipped a step and not ordered from them, which is the plan from here on out.

Never been here before but my friend told me to try this place out. I was looking for some good steak to bring to my dads house. The food was great. the service was great as well. Paulina helped me make a good choice for dinner that night. Will definitely come back.

At the beginning of 2020, before the Covid virus changed most of our lives, we found WIld Fork Foods in Ft Lauderdale. Our first time, we met Tyler, the manager of this location, who took time to give us a full tour. He explained the freezing process which keeps in all of the nutrients, and optimizes the quality of all of their products. He then took us to each freezer and shared what foods were displayed, what benefits each brought, and why Wild Fork delivers such high quality foods. During that first visit we bought a variety of food types to test which we liked. We thanked him for his time, and eagerly looked forward to our new found foods.We defrosted in the refrigerator the night before, or left it out on the day of use. WITHOUT exception, each and every product, whether meat, fish, or chicken was some of the freshest we have ever tasted.After running out of all of our initial purchase, we returned to the store approximately 6 weeks later and had the same caliber of customer service and knowledge from another store employee. We believe quality of staff starts at the top, and Tylers managerial leadership clearly demonstrates this. We are now 9 months since our first visit.The Chimichuri Steak, Thin sliced Chicken, and Wild Caught Key West Shrimp are among many favorites. We have recommended dozens of friends and family and without exception, each has raved after making any of the foods they bought.Wild Fork clearly stands out above all the others for freshness, quality of taste, value for price, and overall ease to prepare. We are in for the long haul and thrilled to make Wild Fork a standard of our food shopping. Its a perfect supermarket for specialized meats they do not have curbside or carside delivery yet but I am sure they will in store pickup procurement is flawless 10 STARS!

So much variety! Will come back for more. I had Paulina help me out today, I explained to her that I had a big dinner date, finally meeting the inlaws and they are huge meat eaters. She helped me pick a good cut of meat. I was overwhelmed by the variety of cuts but she recommended me the picanha, took the time to give me a tour of the store and explain how to cook this cut of meat, the customer service in this store is amazing! My in-laws loved it, and I now am more confident with my cooking !

I just hope they never move!!

I am always amazed at the assortment of flash frozen meats, vegetables and prepared dishes and sweets at this operation. The stores are very well organized and you feel like it is a big chain, but only 5 or 6 stores as far as I can tell. I have purchased Filet, Rib Roast, Fish,(many kinds), some prepared items (i.e., ripe plantains, berries, desserts, ethnic dishes) and all have been outstanding. Comptetitively priced, I always leave with something I didnt plan on buying. Good for party planning and holiday meals. Great for planning ahead!

Federal Highway, Fort LauderdaleAll the food is flash frozen from beef to chicken to turkey to a lot of fish and desserts as well all frozen. Prices are fairly reasonableWe went with a bag of scallops which was only 1 pound( U10-U20 ) when I usually buy the bag at BJ’s for a pound and a half about seven dollars more.We also picked up two individual grouper serving, they look really nice, can’t wait to try them and we also bought Gravadlax Smoke Salmon had a piece when I got home it was delicious.Will definitely go back . A great new gem of a franchise within south Florida!Wildfork is doing a new concept, to me anyway, where they offer you snap frozen meats.You can get many different types of meats.The basics, they have beef, pork, chicken and fish. Recently theyve added more exotic stuff like elk, ostrich, alligator and venison.On top of that they also have spices and veggies and bread and more!

I came in and had questions about the steak variety and I was able to learn a-lot from one of the employee. It was then easier for me to pick out the best steak ideal for me.

The frozen ground beef will not make hamburgers properly. The meat is frozen in a way that makes it impossible to hold itself together.I decided to cook the remaining meat in sloppy joes but the meat has a gritty, sandy texture like fake meat. Not impressed.
