Clean store, easy to get to, convenient parking, knowledgeable staff but over-priced, but thats the market I guess. Equally over-priced, West Marine just down the street.

Went in there looking for a replacement starter for the boat, the staff member looked like I was speaking another language and had no intentions on trying to assist as it was getting close to closing time. Come to think of it the last couple of times I have been there the service has been questionable. A year ago I had brought a bad battery purchased from BOW in to get checked out and the staff member did not want to check at first. Almost as if I was bothering them. Conveniently the battery was a week past the date where I could get a pro rated replacement. So now I have decided to take my business across the street to West Marine. Maybe its only the Ft Lauderdale location with this kind of service but Im not willing to drive to BOWs other location to find out.

We were traveling up the ICW on vacation and the blower went out on our generator when we were in Miami. We called BOW in West Palm and they had what we needed but said Ft Lauderdale was closer to us and it showed they had one in stock but if for some reason the computer was wrong to call them back and they would hold one for us. We called the store in Ft Lauderdale and they did have one and held it for us. They were very helpful letting us know the closest place to dock on the ICW so that we could take an Uber to get the part. I would recommend using them for your boating needs!!

Like most places the store on St rd 84 had way too many empty racks, shelves etc. Employees were super helpful and found what I needed at the store on Sample rd. Employees helpful there also.

They got the stuff you need for a good price. Staff was attentive.

B.O.W. has pretty much everything you could want as far as boating goes. The staff is friendly and do not seem at all put upon when asked advice or for help finding an item. The prices are extremely reasonable. It has been a rare occasion to not find what I was looking for ar B.O.W. Recommended.

I see why there is a help wanted sign out front, I am a repeat customer and on this trip spent over $300 handed the woman my card she said debit or credit I said credit she looked at me punched a few buttons and said oh it wants your PIN so obviously because I wasnt up to her standards I guess she thought she should run it as a debit to see if it was really my card for such a large order once of course I typed in my pin which was almost impossible to reach the card reader and it was in complete sight of both of the employees standing there as the card machine would not turn towards me!!I could not hide my PIN, but, her attitude changed remarkably tooh! have a good afternoon sir, trust me Im not spend another dollar at b. o. w. !!!!!!!!!

Good variety of boating equipment including hoses and fittings and all the small stuff you have trouble finding. staff is above average always willing to help.

As a owner of a small yacht management business I was declined the use of one of my debit cards today. Because it did not have my name on it. So I told him and drive been coming here for years and Ive used the same card last week. All of a sudden now it is a issue. Because he said my name wasnt on it. So what if I had a Boat Owners Warehouse gift card or a Visa gift card theyre going to have my name on it according to him I will not be able to use that as well. Then he said the only take cards of chips only. But I said no I swipe my card here last week. Have me or my employees have spent a little more than $18,000 this year theyre at boat owners warehouse. I will not and will not recommend this place to anybody ever again. They just lost a loyal customer for 9 years. Me or my employees go there pretty much three four times a week. We always pay on my debit or cash. But I guess thats what you get when he got a hnic in charge

Started off at west marine around the corner and they didnt have the float switch connector I needed and where not much help at all. So I popped into BOW and I think I was talking with the manager. He got me what I needed and then helped me piece my wiring together as well. He was a big help and super nice. This place has it all and are welling to help you out. Thank you

Good selection, usually good prices. I used the net to compare between the three major stores in my area and found BOW beat the other two by 5-25%, depending on the product.Be aware, I found additional products in the store that were not on the website so be sure to look around and compare. Granted, my search may not have included the correct words to bring up alternate products but Brush and light are pretty general terms.Anyway, if you dont see what you want, ask the staff and they will assist.Overall, a good experience.

Very knowledgeable as to where things are located throughout the store. Also are willing to give suggestions on common problems that they have heard of. Cause their might be an easier way. You never know.

Better prices than West Marine. Great in a pinch when you need materials last minute. Have the basics but sometimes dont have other essentials. Sometimes run out of things for weeks. We like their discount program as we spend more than 2k a year on boat care materials.

Personally love this place alot of useful items for your boat especially when you need said items in a pinch. Shop Amazon,Walmart and bass pro first though if you have time. This store definitely has its place in your quiver of options!

Great place to shop. Cheaper than the more well known shop around the corner on some stuff but not by much overall. Staff are friendly. There are three marine stores around this area so shop around and save.

Stopped in to check out some of the new items available for boating. I found the shop to be excellently organized and the staff was helpful, but not sales pushy - if you know what I mean. The only thing lacking was solar gear.

Their unwillingness to help is amazing. They definitely don’t care at all what the customer is looking for. Had to call more than 3 times and beg to check inventory. If I was Manager they be seeing major personnel changes.

Was able to find everything I wanted and the staff was extremely helpful when I had questions and I know I can order stuff by mail so I would recommend it to anybody needing parts

I love shopping at BOW.....butI was shock yesterday when I ask the floor manager (Karen) for help and she smells like straight up liquor.

If your a professional in the yachting industry you need to know these guys. Have most everything youll need or be able to get it for you at a reasonable price.

Stay away. Far overpriced. I talked to Keith about buying a Lewmar Windlass. He quoted a price $700 more than anyone else! West Marine even sells it for $400 less than his quote. I asked him why all the other prices ar about $800 less than him and he just said thats the price. Im totally shocked.
