It was a super hot day and my AC stopped blowing cold air. Checked the compressor, its spinning. Tried a bottle of ac recharge on the low line, pressure said there was enough. Let me take it to a pro.Took it here and first he tried to refill it on the low side, it didnt work. Turned on his flashlight looked at the compressor and said it stopped working and need to replace it. Total price $850. Really! No diagnostic check nothing. Got a second opinion at my local dealership, he said everything looks fine just use the circulation button and dont try cranking it on a really hot day. $45 for the diagnostic check. Just do a little homework yourself so you dont get caught paying for something thats not broken.
