NEVER,...have I EVER ...been able to call up a mechanic shop, ask them if they can get me in right then and them say yes. My alternator went out while I was in town and an hour away from home. I called and spoke with Mike and was told they can put in a new alternator right then. Once I got there, Calvin immediately started working on it and was done within 35 mins. These guys were quick, very nice to deal with and would HIGHLY recommend them. Great people and thats hard to come by nowadays!!!!

Im from Colorado and broke down on the road to Petrolia during a little PCH tour. Every other shop we called was too busy to get me in even for the following week.Busted Knuckle got me in and replaced my clutch master cylinder in two hours! I was super stoked to be able to hit the road the very day I broke down and 1,000 miles from home at that.Thanks Mike!

Had a vehicle we were looking to buy from a private party inspected by them. They got us in with short notice and did an amazing and thorough job! They were great at showing and explaining to us any area of concern. Also VERY reasonable price. Highly recommend!!!

Mike, (the owner) is awesome. He squeezed me in and I had my car back the next day. Also, the total bill was cheaper than I expected.

Long story short.. they took a very difficult mechanical and financial situation and worked it all out for my sisters challenger.. also did a little work on my civics ball-joints.. Mike always friendly and informative has compassionately helped us with our needs.. if you have some serious engine-work or just need a lil tune up these guys are the ones to help you out.

I was driving to Eureka and I blew out my radiator while driving through Fortuna. I called around and drove to about every auto repair shop in Fortuna. Everyone said that they had to order the part and it wouldn’t be there until Monday or Tuesday, which meant I would be trapped in Fortuna the entire weekend. When I called Busted Knuckle they said that they could fix it. I was a little sceptical, but I brought it over. They are right next to an auto parts store, and they had called them to see if they had a radiator that fit my truck and they did! They sent me to buy the radiator which saved me money, and had it installed and sent me on my way in under an hour. Totally saved my butt. They also didn’t try to up sell me on anything or tell me something else was wrong to make more money. I know so little about cars that I would have bought blinker light fluid if they tried to sell it to me, so I really appreciate that! Highly recommended, especially if you are in a bind.

My car was shaking at a certain speed. My friend thought he knew what it was but wasnt sure and I didnt want to buy parts I didnt need so I took it to Busted Knuckles. I let Jay know my friend would fix it if it was something easy, but we needed it confirmed. Even though he had cars ahead of me, as soon as I got there, he took a quick look and confirmed. He had told me it would be $25.00 but when I tried to pay him, he wouldnt take it. He also gave me a quote incase we had problems fixing it, that was more then fair. It I hadnt just spent a fortune renting a truck, dolly and cherry picker for another project, I would have just had him do it. I would highly recommend Jay and Busted Knuckles for your car repairs.

HACK MECHANICS! I have an 06 Nissan Frontier. I took it to them for a timing chain they did half the job and didnt tell me till I asked. I had them finish the job and it fell apart a few months later. They fixed it again and it fell apart a few months later and when the loud ticking didnt go way they told me it was a bottom end noise. Now I have taken it to the dealer in Eureka and they say it need a timing gear. NEVER go to them.
