Theres no other place to take care of your wheels, tires, and alignment. Very professional and they know how to not damage your expensive race wheels.

Ive been getting and maintaining my tires on all my past and present vehicles at Hummel Tire since the early 80s. Dosent matter what the price is, theres not much difference from any other tire place in Humboldt. But hands down, you wont find any better service anywhere then at Hummel. I dont care how far I have to travel on my spare. Hummel is where Im going. Except on Sundays. I can wait an extra day and I will.

I needed tires for my Car. I wanted Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tires because I have them on another vehicle, and I have found them to perform well. Wendy and Lisa helped get me these tires at a competitive price, and scheduled me to bring my vehicle in right away.My vehicle is not an easy vehicle to install tires on. It has special wheels which are different sizes on the front and rear. They assured me they could handle the job using their specialized tire installation equipment. They were right! The crew did an excellent job installing the new tires and balancing my wheels.I was also able to get an excellent four-wheel alignment performed.What a difference it is to drive my vehicle now. Much smoother and safer to drive!Great job! Thank you Hummel Tires!

Love these guys. Open on Christmas but had to pay 400 bucks for 2 tires. Lol ouch. I mean, I needed the tires but sure wish the selection was bigger so I couldve bought presents for my kids. Not their fault but what a tough Christmas

I love that I can call and they know who I am and can easily look up what I need but just stating what vehicle I am inquiring about. I dont need to say the year, or the model just the maker and they know.If they dont have my tires in stock they usually arrive in a day or so.

Takes a lot for me to leave a review. I had a blowout and went to Les Schwab to see if they had a used tire to get me through two months. They said they did not but could sell me a new one for $350. Left and found Hummel Tire. They were moderately busy but I was met as I pulled in. They found me a good used tire and installed it for $40. While they were at it they took the time to fix a botched brake job from Les Schwab two weeks prior. I highly recommend based on value and amazing service.

Our local go-to for all things tires. You couldnt ask for better service and quality. We SO appreciate this local gem.

Fair pricing & great service/people

Hit something on the freeway and had an instant blowout on my truck while pulling my travel trailer near this town. I called a few tire shops and nobody had my tire. Hummel ordered my tire and had it the next day. The staff is fantastic and did an excellent job. They got us back on the road. If I lived nearby I would always use this tire shop. I highly recommend them.

They were great! Thought I was going in to spend a couple hundred bucks on a new tire, they found a used one that matched perfectly for half the price. When they took the old one off, which was still in very good shape, they were able to fix it! Other places said it couldnt be fixed just by looking at it on the car. Hummel really knows their stuff and their customer service was outstanding! Oh, and they fixed it for FREE! I will now be a customer for life!👍👍

Lisa was amazing! We would give them more than five stars if we could. We got a nail in our rental car tire and we had no spare! This happened at humbolt redwood forest about 15 miles away and we made it to Hummel tire and wheel and they patched up our tire quickly and with a smile. And they did not charge us!! WOW. You do not get service like that anymore. Definitely would recommend them!

My tire was losing air and I discovered a nail causing it. I drove into Hummel Tire store to have it fixed. J came right to me as soon as I drove in. He was amazing! took tire off and said to stay in my car. He rushed to repair it and when he returned and put my tire back on and I was ready to pay for the service. He said no charge. I was so impressed and will tell all my contacts how good Hummels service is! THANK YOU J .

Friendlier and helpful people. Great prices.I just got a tire for a full size farm tractor replaced here. The tire had not been replaced in about 50 years. It took them almost 2 hours to change the tire. Even with the huge amount of extra work they still did it for the quoted price. You can always trust Hummel to be fair.

What an awesome place, coming from San Diego To Canada. I needed to ck my air pressure on my tires and I found this place on yelp! Stoped by and meet the owner and her sister, beautiful people. They check my tires for free and gave me a metal screws and a pressure gauge for free. I wish them the best. I will never forget them. Now I have to do something nice for someone else. Glad I meet them and the service people!

On March 31 of this year I was driving north on Hwy 101 near Piercy, Ca. and blew out both dual right wheel tires. I called my service provider GOOD SAM and they put me in touch with HUMMEL. I did have to wait a few hours on the side of the road but that was to be expected, as I was still over an hour south of Fortuna. They had only one tire and had to procure another from another vendor. I was thrilled when their driver pulled up to change out the tires. He was both professional and had a very pleasant disposition. He made quick work of it and I was on my way in no time. GOOD JOB! Everyone! THANK YOU!

They greeted me pleasantly and quickly got to work patching the hole and i was all set in 10 minutes.. when i asked if i should go into the office to settle up he informed me that they fix flats for free!
