Used to really enjoy thrifting at Savers, but the introduction of self check out only has changed that, especially if you pay with cash. I wait longer because fewer registers accept cash transactions. Also, it might just be my perception, but it feels like the staff just want to get you out of there as quickly as possible. You used to be able to engage with the staff with friendly, cordial banter. Now I feel that any responses about inquiries or just simple greetings are met with cold and curt responses in order to rush me out of the store. I realize it IS a thrift store, but it used to be more enjoyable before.

If you find a piece of furniture here you had better take it with you as soon as you buy it or theyll resell it to someone else or someone will just walk out with it. If your piece is still there youll probably be dragging it out of the store anyways because the guy at the loading dock is more concerned when hell get his next fix than helping.

Very very busy on senior day! No carts available when I walked in so I just waited. Great prices on most items, some a little overpriced. Great experience though. Been to four different Savers in this by far is the largest in fountain valley.

This is my go to thrift store and really ought to be for everyone in the area. Huge selection, fair prices, and deals all the time. Having a loyalty program is great and I pretty much always find something when I go in. Itll be a sad day if I ever move somewhere with no Savers.

So rad savers is the best place for thrifty shopping..they have decent coustmer service and a wide selection of all kinds of house ware and clothing... fountain valley savers is excellent!

Awesome place right next door. We donate a lot here due to them supporting epilepsy research, which we have plenty of experience with. Do plenty of shopping here as well!

Savers is usually epic. Their shop its always clean. And the clothes seem more stylish thanl Goodwill. Their prices seem to have gone up some since the pandemic. Just like everyone else

I used to love this place but today I walked in and was forced to use a self check stand and they did not have one cashier to help guests who are uncomfortable with it or simply do not wish to work there. Wont be coming back after this.

I would rate this a zero I was shopping earlier today and witness an employee or manager being very rude to a vendor. She was so mean when the guy was trying to help their issues. I couldn’t help but watch and listen. All you had to do was sanitize. That’s it. Why be rude to the vendor if the problem is y’all. Have some common sense.

THIS SAVERS IS A SCAM! Pricing is NOT final. If the cashier decides that the price is wrong, the manager will pull a number out of thin air & reprice it. What a scam. I finally felt like I found a deal at Savers (you know, because it’s a thrift store), and then my dreams were crushed. Savers should probably retrain all of its employees so they’re on the same page because the person pricing items and the manager clearly aren’t. Savers has ruined bargain hunting.Btw. It was $5 Christmas snow globe, and they repriced it for $20.

Who is in charge of pricing? Many times Ive found items in the kitchen/Knick naks marked at higher than full price for new! Cmon! Its a thrift store!

The store is organized and the sale prices cant be beat. Ive found a lot of great clothing items I needed for my kiddo, some for myself, and these beautiful jewelry pieces. I love bargaining hunting for random things every once in a while, it was a treat!

I love this Savers location. Its always clean and the staff is super friendly and Im so glad theyre open again. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that Ive noticed the prices are increasing to amounts that are a little too high for used items. I do however find really great bargains and thats what keeps me coming back!

Love Savers. 4 stars is because they no longer honor the $2 survey coupon with whatever percentage coupon. They now call it coupon stacking. I still wont stop coming. I saved almost $20 with the 40% off kid stuff coupon and 20% club coupon on the rest of my items. Store is cleaner than it had gotten after re-opening immediately after covid, but I used to see a ton of people on the floor, cleaning stuff off the floor, etc. I think that needs to happen again.***Update***The lines outside due to the covid store occupancy limit make it impossible for me to shop. I cant imagine that Im the only senior who cant stand outside on Tuesdays and wait to shop. Plus I think it would behoove the store to invest in some ride-on carts. The store is wonderfully huge but some of us cant be standing that long. Id love to stay and shop longer than I do! Please, Savers!

Love this thrift store! Selection is amazing in most all departments. Clothing is by sizes and they even have xxl and xxxl. Books are orginized by subject. This store is HUGE. So much to choose from.. and new arrivals are brought in daily. The only complsint i have is that prices are kind of high compared to other thrift stores ( with the exception of Goodwill, i should say as their prices are insane). THE secret for me is that im a senior by SAVERS rules and every Tuesday Seniors get a 30% discount on everything purchased. This saves alot! ******Note**** if you have visted other SAVERS locations ....like i did ...,in Fullerton, which is messy, many items are dirty and trashy, selection is limited and store is half empty,, just know that Huntington Beach /Fountain Valley SAVERS is compleatly different and worth the drive if youre not in the area.

This place is pretty cool with great Customer Service provided by some cool employees! They have adult shirts (Vans, Levi’s, O’Neil) that are in great condition, some still with tags on. Also, the kids clothes here are in pretty great condition considering they are second hand and most of the labels are name brand. Employees, Stock AND Prices are great and are well worth the drive from Ontario🙂 See ya guys Soon!😂

This place is perfect for getting clothes for kids, fixing up your own wardrobe, and some other select items without breaking the bank. The best part is that this place is refreshed with new items all the time. So go and support them and drop off anything you dont use here as well.

Savers is a great thrift store always stocked full of a wide variety of secondhand items to pick through. The clothes (huge section) are typically in good condition, and there is a large selection of shoes and accessories. The jewelry counter is well organized. There is a seemingly endless amount of knickknacks, artwork, dishes, books, etc. I am only giving Savers 4 stars because the prices are often ridiculously high on anything considered to be an antique or collectible. The prices on such items seem to get higher every time I shop there which is typically every couple of months. Thrift stores are not, and should not be, antique stores. 90 percent of the time I can find the same collectible item on Ebay in better condition and for less money. Of course, bargains and surprises can be found if youre lucky. In short, Savers is a great place for clothes, books, costume jewelry and housewares. But shop carefully when antiques or collectibles are concerned.

Great place to find great deals on all kinds of things, from clothes and accessories to appliances and dishes. They have some good furniture and electronics, as well as without equipment and TONS of books. The parking lot is large, but it can quickly fill up on sale days. It may take some time and some shopping to find the best deals, but it can be a fun experience. The in store customer service is about what youd expect for a thrift store, but once youre at the checkout, the employees always have a smile and good attitude. Make sure you can carry what you buy, though, because, with the exception of large furniture items, you have to carry it out as their carts dont leave the store.

I love this store never really had problems until now. Please make it less obvious that you are racially profiling your shoppers, I mean really its getting old. Constantly following them under the guise of picking up clothing on the floor in each aisle they are in like really like I cant tell your not following me because of the color of my skin. Sad. You know who you are....white chubby dude with long brown hair of scruffy beard you should be fired.

Great place for clothing. Every day they have one color tag that is 50 percent off. They are constantly replacing stock with new donations. They have books, kitchenware, vases, furniture, toys, shoes, jewelry and sunglasses among others. The selection is limited, but the pricing is usually pretty good.

If you sift through VERY diligently, it can be a source for knick knacks to flip and occasionally, a still usable designer blouse, sweater, or handbag for resale. Their books cost more than many library or thrift shops. They regularly overestimate the value of the items in their jewelry case, and even tried to sell an obviously used sterling silver Tiffany bracelet for more than it would cost to buy the exact same bracelet BRAND NEW from Tiffany itself!

This is by far the best store to shop for anything. You never know what you will find. It depends on what people of the community donate. Everyday is another new shopping experience.

The look of this place has really gone down hill. It used to be so open and organized. Now its cluttered and disorganized. Looks like a regular thrift store. Their prices used to be awesome and now they are higher than the other thrifts around.

My favorite thrift store. I have even been to other Savers and still like this one better. They keep it well organized by size (except the baby clothes) and the aisles are wide.

I shop there offen & it is always a pleasant treasure hunt. If you have clothes or any household item to donate, Savers gives you a 5%-30% discount on anything in the store on your next shopping trip. Goodwill or Salvation Army doesnt offer that savings.

The employees is not courteous

I swooned when Savers came back. By far the best Thrift Store & as an epileptic I gotta love their cause. Clothes sold are impeccable with no stains or tears in sight. Fabulous jewelry and designer handbags!! My favorite this is their grab bags in almost every dept. AND you get a substantial discount card when you donate at their curbside donation drop off. Amazing sales, early perks with their membership card, witty helpful staff and thrift store pricing (when other stores sell junk for retail prices. Another plus is that clothes are super organiized by size and type. No more picking through racks for an item you love!

This place is very plain, full of second-hand clothing & merchandise, but there are some good deals to be found, depending on what youre looking for. For comparison, its bigger than the Goodwill store in South HB, & organized better. And, I found that the employees seem to be a bit more friendly & knowledgeable about their store.

Went quickly to find suit jacket and blouses for a job interview. Walked out with 2 of each for a total of $36. Success!
