This Walgreens used to be pretty fast and easy but the testing in the car line messes everything up and I end up waiting in line for like an hour! Its ridiculous. Testing should NOT be a drive though for a regular pharmacy. That needs to be done inside the store so we can get our medication in the drive though and get on with our day!

Let me begin by saying if I could rate with zero stars I would, but that isn’t an option. I received a phone notification that my prescription was ready for pick up at the pharmacy six days ago (on a Saturday morning). I went to the pharmacy the following Wednesday to pick it up and waited in line 25 minutes only to be told it was not ready. The cashier said it would take 45 minutes to fill it! I told her I would just come back the next day (Thursday) to get it. On Thursday I called in the morning to find out it still wasn’t ready, and I called later that afternoon and got the same recorded message. I called this morning (Friday) and got the same message, so I finally figured out how to actually speak to a person and they said they could have it ready in 15 minutes. So, I went to pick it up this evening and waited in the line for one hour with my grandson who had an appointment for a vaccine. We stood at the cash register for 20 minutes while they tried to figure out if he had a scheduled appointment. They couldn’t find it because he appeared to be late since we waited in line so long, his appointed time has passed even though we got there 20 minutes early as they requested. Then they told us to have a seat and told us to fill out paper work while we waited some more for someone to give him the vaccine. We were told it could be a while. We told them we were done waiting and walked out without getting the vaccine. I don’t think the people behind the counter could move any slower if they tried. I counted at least six people back there. I AM DONE WITH THIS PLACE!I did finally get my prescription, but that’s the last prescription they fill for me!

This Walgreens pharmacy has been consistent and wonderful to me and my family. Due to the recent surge in population for our little town, its obvious that it has been difficult for them to meet the current demand, however, they care about their patients and some of these pharmacist have spent countless hours to get me my prescriptions sooner than predicted. I am disappointed that the reviews here are so negative, because longtime residents have history with these kind people and they 100% deserve better than this. There are many places in Fountain to have your prescriptions filled, and this one works hard as heck to help, give them a break.

I went to go pick up an order at the pharmacy from my doctor’s appointment I had at 2pm. I gave them a couple hours to fill it and when I came to pick it up, they turned me away and said it wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow (even though I showed up an hour before closing time, half of which I was waiting in line since one girl was working the counter). Now I’ll have to go without the medication I need when it shouldn’t be like this. I don’t know why Bailey and her team couldn’t fill it for me, since they filled medication that wasn’t ready for the woman in front of me. It’s unprofessional to keep people’s prescriptions waiting and unfilled.

Ill never use this pharmacy ever again! And if you do, do so with caution. My son was in the ER due to pneumonia. Thankfully his oxygen levels were still in the normal range, which prevented him from getting admitted. Childrens Hospital and I went back and forth with this pharmacy the next day to get my sons prescription filled for hours before they were able to get it filled. And the staff was RUDE not very compassionate at all when it came to my circumstances got my little one. Terrible customer service all the way around. They seemed almost annoyed that I was wanting to get his script filled. Terrible terrible experience. Not even worth the one start I HAD to give to post this review.

Omg this is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Unorganized, slower than slow and run by the rudest people. My husband went to pick up our son’s meds and despite receiving calls every 15 minutes that his meds were ready, they were not. And that’s twice this has happened now! And instead of owning their mistakes they come up with crazy to buy more time like “your insurance and doctor has to approve the prescriptions.” Uhhhhhh…the doc had to call them in…..pretty sure that can be taken as approval. And we just moved so literally the insurance was JUST updated and taken care of for my sons meds. I hate that I’m forced to even give them one star.

Just went today to pick up a script before I left on that for vacation that night. They went above and beyond to get approval from my doctor to pick it up a day early. I really appreciate the support of the team at this location! To the pharmacist who made that long phone call for me who was working at 2pm on 7/19/21 and the assistant who did wvwrything she could....THANK YOU! Its truly a place where they care about their customers and the diverse needs they require! You guys are amazing!

The line is 45 minutes long minimum everytime I come here. Ive been on hold for 45 minutes and the call dropped. I called back and Im back to waiting on hold for another 45 minutes. This is the 2nd Walgreens I have dealt with and I never had these problems at the one on Constitution.

Been waiting for half an hour in line and still have 3 cars ahead of me. Plan on being here all day if you want to use this pharmacy. Its worth the money and or drive to go somewhere else. Peace of mind is much better. This isnt due to staffing shortage from C19. This was going on well before we ever heard of covid. Update...just spent 25 mins on hold and they hung up on me....update again. Been waiting an hr. 1 car infront of me.

My husband scheduled a COVID vaccine for this location. They kept him waiting an HOUR AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES after his appointment time. This was because they had 12 cars in drive up, 14 people in line inside and two staff. Its appaling to think about how long it would take to get a needed prescription-heaven forbid anything urgent. Dont come here. Avoid at all costs. Find ANY OTHER PHARMACY or be prepared to waste hours of your life waiting to be served as the incompetent staff haphazardly search the same script bin 5 times thinking yours will magically appear (yep, that actually happened). I wish I was joking. Id give 0 stars if I could.

Just talked to a very rude and arrogant pharmacist at this Walgreens. Wow this Company used to care. You provide horrible customer service and are very cold. I am pulling all my prescriptions and transferring them. I highly recommend that other customers do the same.

Waited 40 minutes with my 72 year old mother for flu shots. When she asked the pharmacist how much longer it would he, he said complaining wouldnt make it faster.i advised him that the shot booth had been empty for 30 minutes, he called me a liar.

This place must not have any management because the pharmacy techs just seem to have a free for all mentality. The pharmacy customer service is horrendous. Theres one woman with blue hair who treats every single customer picking up their meds like trash. The wait times are the longest Ive ever seen. They tell you 2 hours and meds still have yet to be filled 6 hours later. Some of them have no class whatsoever. Theres one woman who just wears a hoodie in the pharmacy department and likes to act hood. They also can never find your filled medications, or if they do they pretend they didnt see them to sneak off to the back to do god knows what leaving you waiting. Ive never been so appalled with an establishment. Literal nightmare.

Twice I have had prescriptions filled here and twice they have misplaced them- from the call center to the actual pharmacy. Both are time sensitive and the apathy with which I was met is appalling. The first time my dr office was still open and it took almost two hours, 3 calls toMy dr and finally the pharmacist calling my dr to get the prescription filled. The tech was gruff but polite and worked with me kindly to get it worked out. I was appreciative and gave them another chance. The second time (in a row) I went in again, they don’t have it. A little compassion would have gone a long way~ but this time the tech couldn’t care less. It’s not here. Shrug. My dr office was closed. I have never committed to never going back to any place of business in my Life until now. I am not picking up photos here- these are time sensitive medications in an emotional time. I don’t know if it’s your system from the call center to the pharmacy but something needs to change and one of those things is the attitude of some of the staff members. I was a tech for 5 years I understand the job can get hard, you take a lot of flack but I was not rude or condescending in the least. I always went out of my way to help people. 2 chances - I’m done.

Seriously waited over an hour for a prescription that was already filled and ready to go. Mickey Mouse tech kept trying to blame me when she didnt know what she was doing. But dont worry she has over 20 years of experience but didnt know how to apply insurance. First impression of her she was flirting with a customer and wrote down her number on his prescription. Very uncomfortable experience watching that when I just wanted meds to help my grandma.

Awful place to get a Covid test. The sign states Both lanes are open. After waiting 20 minutes in the lane farthest from the window I reported I was there to get a Covid test. Ashley, the pharmacy manager said Sorry, we cant give you the Covid test in that lane, you are going to have to pull back around and get in the other lane. (The window lane now had five cars in line.) Why is THERE NO SIGN stating this? I asked her that specific question and she said Sorry, dont know what to tell you. She was super rude and terse. I waisted my entire lunch break waiting for the COVID test only to go back to work without it. Worst pharmacy ever. Thanks Ashley, for ruining my day with what could have been fixed by a simple sign.

UPDATE: The Manager Jessica returned to work today and took the time to call me and help resolve any issues I may have had. She was polite, informed and professional. We spoke of options I may have, the issues the store was having with the printer and she offered help above and beyond expectations. I truly believe that if she was there a day before there would have never been an issue in the first place. I am re reviewing my original post and putting all stars, because with Jessica I think that is what the Walgreens deserves.(original review )Sent a 600 dollar order here and they cancelled it the next day due to a machine broken down (days before the order). When I called them to ask why they charged my card anyway, they said I would have to wait up to 30 days for a refund.The assistant manager was of little help and of no resolution.I say, go to a legit printing option or at the very least, a different Walgreens.

Every time I have to fill my grandsons prescriptions they say their are out of stock then never fill it without having to call them several time. Store staff is great but pharmacy staff is the rudest and have the worst customer service skill Ive ever encountered. I spend a lot of money there and I hate that their pharmacy staff is so rude and downright hateful for no reason. Ive watched them humiliate people and make people cry on multiple occasions. I thought the Photo Center employees would be somewhat competent in taking pictures for babies, but the older woman with glasses working there was pretty rude and uncouth. Didnt even answer my questions and insisted I was wrong when I said the photo taken wasnt within passport guidelines set by the Department of State. She touched up the picture so much that my babys head looked super cropped and very obviously photoshopped so I said that wasnt going to work. She retorted with a Ok, well you dont have to take it and walked away with an attitude. Wow. What phenomenal customer service.

As a former employee of the company, working in the pharmacy, I am absolutely appaled at the way my last prescription issue was handled. I had my prescription sent in 6 days before it was to be filled. It is a control and cannot be filled until the day of. Not an issue. My issue was it was OOS for 6 days prior. I called to ask when the next truck would be in and their reply was we dont know . The pharmacy manager should be able to tell you when the truck comes, whats on it, and an inventory list. I called in those consecutive days to get an update and was given the same answer of we dont know and finally on the day of my prescription fill when I actually needed my prescription I was told if you really need it then go somewhere else . WOW. Never in all my time working there have I ever responded to a customer in such a rude and completely unempathetic way. So I went to SAFEWAY. And they were extremely polite and got my prescription the same day with good customer service.The store manager needs to do something about the way the pharmacy is being run. Its clearly a problem as your ratings have gone down an entire star in 1 month. I even took my time to calm down before writing this because my original review would have been much more scathing. FIX THE ISSUE.

My wife and I visited the store yesterday to buy some candy. When we went to checkout, there was an elderly checkout man at the counter. I did not get his name. He was having a conversation with a customer checking out. He made a comment that, referring to the President of The United States, that yeah he contracted the coronavirus, and it couldnt have happened to a better person. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, not the right place. Keep your political views to yourself.I will NEVER go back to that store again.On a side note, he did have on a mask, but no gloves, but he had open wounds on his hands and arms. He looked as he had some illness, and did not sanitize anything after customers.

This pharmacy staff some them lie about your RXS I transferred from there to somewhere else, I asked them at least 25 times not to fill my medications and they just kept randomly doing it. its a inconvenience to go to pick up your medicine from the place where it is supposed to be and find out its not too soon to fill it. Its at the other pharmacy. Then they tell you that the doctor fax the refill there so I have the other pharmacy call them and they said they dont have any RXS for you.after just telling you they did. Maybe I should just get away from Walgreens altogether I dont know. But I dont like people telling lies, especially when it involves my health. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional pharmacy in my life! Every single time I go to pick up medications I know before I even get to the window there is going to be an issue! I have two insurance companies and it’s always one or the other they have an issue running now they deleted my primary insurance profile tried to run a Medicaid and handed me only one week worth of medication and sent me on my way then said I had to get a new prescription written but it would not be filled because of me already A weeks worth LOL I am currently dealing with pregnancy complications and this is the right around they are giving me! The Parmacy Staff are Disgusting, incompetent, rude, untrustworthy with information and Pharmacy Management was just as much help as the cashier in their window that ran the wrong insurance.

I absolutely love and adore the staff that work there. I frequent this store and have always been greeted with nothing but kindness. Several of the clerks go above and beyond to assist you. I do not use the pharmacy so I am unable to speak about that service. Yes, it can get crowded but that is due to the increase of the population in this area, not the fault of employees. I would like to say, THANK YOU, for staying open and helping our community with our needs.

Slowest pharmacy on the West Coast, clearly this place is understaffed but it doesn’t seem to matter to them. I have waited over an hour and a half in line, had someone tell me they would help me in 2 minutes, just for them to leave on break before considering helping. This place either needs to hire more help or expect to see some losses in the future. Who wants to stand in line, sick, for more than an hour?

I originally left a review about how long the drive thru always is which makes it super slow and take forever- but the problem is so many single people could easily walk in and leave the drive thru for those with cars full of kids or actual injuries. But, regardless, wish the drive thru was quicker and the line wasnt always 8+ cars deep, makes for a miserable waiting period with a car full of toddlers.

This is the only place I go for meds! There always so nice and willing to help anytime. I really like Sue shes always so sweet and caring!! No problems, anytime I go if there is a problem then its with my insurance or doctor. If you have to go to Walgreens for prescription, just go to a different location. It will save you time, frustration and a lot of unnecessary hassle. Just this month of January they messed up 2 of my nieces medicine and filled one that was not requested nor picked up. I currently cant get that prescription filled due to them saying I picked it up on the 6th when I did no such thing. After I get the issues worked out with this one prescription, I will be switching where I get future prescriptions filled. Any Suggestions that are hassle free?

This pharmacy is a dangerous place, in many ways. My provider was inconvenienced needlessly. They questioned my prescription needlessly. Extremely long lines always. No concern for the patient. Holds medication needlessly. Rude. Incompetent. New to Fountain but will NEVER use this pharmacy again. Don’t trust you or your child’s health to this place.

Their pharmacy is the best. The staff, which includes Sue and Josh go beyond excellent customer service. Josh even calls me to see if I have any questions when a new rx is prescribed to me. Sue takes her time with me always making me feel like she really cares. I have never received this positive attitude from any other pharmacy .

Came to get my perscriptions from urgent care with VA insurance. Woman at the counter didnt know what to do so she just pushed me aside. I myself called the VA for help and went to the counter a 2nd time the store manager again dismissed me as I was trying to explain the issue and get their fax number for the VA and he asked for the next customer as he handed me the fax number. He could hear the VA rep on my phone asking to speak to them but he just ignored me. So I finished talking with the VA and waiting in line a 3RD time (very busy) and lady from before told me I dont have coverage which I had just verified with the VA on the phone call they refused to take. I am 100% disabled I have coverage. Then they ask for the number I had. Which was on the paperwork with instructions the lady IGNORED because it wasnt convenient to them. Absolutely ridiculous to be ignored 3 times because I wasnt convenient to them. The store manager even admitted to trying to get the line down instead of assisting me. They had zero problems spending a solid 20min with the cute young girls in the line. Am I too tan to be treated with dignity and respect? Is it too inconvenient to work with a Veteran? What is the reason to be treated so poorly? WORTHLESS STAFF AND MANAGER

Unlike customers who typically go to Walgreens for their pharmacy needs, I often go there for other products. Last week I was in a bind of finding last minute a good tobacco pipe for a gift, and to my luck, my friend advised me to go to Walgreens an pick one of their Dr. Grabow pipes. They have a very small selection, but I was impressed with these briar pipes at a great price. The person who received the gift has a pipe for many years to come. As usual, I was in and out of Walgreens in less than 5 minutes.

Drive thru always has cars lined up around the building and the line inside is no better. Minimum of a 20 - 30 minute wait everytime I try to pick up a prescription. They need to hire more staff or consider opening another store in the area. I now drive 6 miles out of my way to use a Walgreens with much faster service.

Ensure when items are stocked, the correct items are stocked in the correct spot. I picked up two boxes of aleve, one behind the other, that were supposed to be on sale. When I checked out, one was 50 capsules, the other was 100. So I didnt get the sale price, which was supposed to be 1/2 off the 2nd bottle. Then I noticed two different signs for sunblock. One said 1/2 off with card and the other did not. So again when i got to the checkout counter, i noticed i didnt get the sale price. The lady said that i didnt get the discount because i didnt use a Walgreens card. If I have to start going around and investigating which signs are right and wrong and start stocking the shelves myself for my quick stop shopping, then this will not be my quick stop place to shop.

This walgreens pharmacy is the worst. They always have a 30min wait minimum. I cant understand why they cant figure out a system to speed up the process of serving the community regarding prescriptions. Everyone here hates their job and they have no desire to expedite services quickly. I will no longer fill prescriptions here. When you have sick children or need heart medication quickly the last thing you want to do is stand in a line for the insane amount of time you will at this walgreens pharmacy.

Every time I fill a prescription Im waiting for hours to drop it off and hours to pick it up and they dont even call you or text you when your prescription is ready and it always seems like there an hour behind on the time they say its going them to fill your script

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Very busy and slow. Hold times always 25 - 30 minutes, in-store wait times longer. I feel for the staff because the store obviously needs more pharmacists, but then the they take their misery out on customers, making the service even more unbearable. Use another pharmacy if at all possible!

I agree with most of the posters here. The pharmacy is probably the worse I have ever been to. Having said that, I think the main problem is that, along with most stores in the Fountain Mesa area, they have not kept up with the influx of new housing and the general population growth. Basically, along with the nearby Safeway, Fountain has outgrown the current retail infrastructure. Sadly, the corporate offices for these stores have refused to expand with the growth. Don’t know why they have their heads in the sand, but it is what it is I guess.

Pharmacy is terrible. Wait times are ridiculous whether you go inside or do the drive through. Last time I went through the drive through I was ignored for 10 minutes before anyone even said hi and asked me to be patient. Wait times when you call are horrible too. This location definitely needs some restructuring and probably new employees.

This walgreens pharmacy is terribad! Wait time always long sometimes 10 mins for one person, if there stuff is not ready why do I have to wait? Every other time I go here there is s problem with scripts of some kind. They either need more people or more efficient people. Next time get a snack before you go you will need it

Every time I go in the lady with the short red hair is always grumpy and rude. I had a mix up with my main insurance and wanted to switch it over and she acted as if it was such a hassle when it’s YOUR JOB!!! I understand being tired and ready to be off from all the madness with customers, but that’s not my fault! Do your job period!!!

Only speaking about the pharmacy, as the rest of the store and cashiers are fine...I was a regular customer for a while at this specific WG pharmacy, and out of nowhere, one day I was told by a pharm tech and a pharmacist, that a very necessary script of mine was no longer covered by my insurance. I told them they must be mistaken, but I was cut off by pharmacist named Cynthia, and suggested I go to another pharmacy. I called another Walgreens close by and the pharmacist looked up my name and told me there was no issue, the other Walgreens made a mistake and put in a wrong code. I called pharmacist Cynthia back to explain this to her and all I got was attitude and asking me...well, whats the code and I can put it in for you?... Seriously? Horrible customer service at this Walgreens pharmacy. I suggest find another one thats closest. Very rude techs and pharmacist who should not be pharmacists.

I have been coming here for over 14 years an never really had a problem tell now!! over 30 min in the drive through to drop an a Rx for my son cuz the car in front of me say an waited to fill their Rx. any time I come through an need one asap they have us pull around an wait an bo back through this is crazy to wait over 30 min just to drop off my sons Rx!! the line on cars wrapped around the building an three was more the 4 cars behind he.... bad bad service.. some of if have things we need to do an we couldnt even leave the line cuz we were the 2car an stuck with the curbside an the cars behind to close to back out an leave!!

Pharmacy here is awful. Always at least a 30 min wait in line. Needed a refill and they said the dr office never got back with them from weeks ago and they only call the dr once and aren’t authorized to try to get ahold of the dr again.. seriously?Poor customer service at this pharmacy.

Do not give this Walgreens your money. I am trying to get medication for my mother, and because they handed me back her script they told the doctor that we had no script. So the number they had been asking for this whole time they didnt even except. So for almost a week know unable to get anything taken care of. The lady at the drive through was rude and didnt want to do anything to help. Really sad that they do not want to take care of there customers. There is no wonder why they have a 2 rating.

This location forgot to order my sons medication and waited 12 days to tell me! My son needed a steroid for his nose bleeds, Ive gone in twice only to be told the system was down and they couldnt check the deliveries in, but it was probably there! Today I finally asked what was going on to delay so much and they told me it had never been ordered! Im so disgusted with not just one oversight but THREE! If they had bothered to even look when I went in inquiring, they would have seen it wasnt ordered! My son has bow unnecessarily had nose bleeds due to this pharmacy and their outright negligence!

Decent store, grumpy pharmacy staff. Theres one lady that really seems to hate her job and shes always at the checkout. It makes checking out in the pharmacy a real joy!!! *sarcasm*Update: after spending 90 minutes waiting in the pharmacy for a scrip, I finally resorted to the drive through. Another twenty minutes later I had my scrip. I wish these people would get it together!!! The girl with the long nails, horrible black wig and lack of personality sealed the deal. I will never be back.

The worst customer service!!!! Ive been in this store a few times and unfortunately after tonight Ive made the decision that I am not going back to this Walgreens. Every time Ive been in there, the employees are rude including the manager. Whitney is the most rudest cashier Ive ever had the unfortunate time to deal with. I will drive across town 10 miles to a different Walgreens before I step foot back in this one. I would give this no stars if possible. If unprofessional employees dont bother you then you wont have a problem in this store, thats for sure!!

Store manager, a portly bald guy with glasses is an unprofessional, low life. He seemed to be intoxicated when asked a question. Maybe he just didnt care. Either way this man needs to have a corporate evaluation for the safety of himself and customers. Completely unacceptable service. Very dissapointed compared to other locations.
