Besides the employees always being the nicest, friendliest, neighbor-types out there; Theres only one thing I bargain shop for- work from home drinks, and pool shock. When it comes to these things I stock up, because of how fast they get used at home (yes- thats the wife Im talking about). As far as I know, no one beats Job Lot. We are talking about 120 cans of Polar Orange Dry for $32.45- and during the season, great quality pool shock is only $12 bucks per 4/gallons. I remember back in the day Job Lot was only in little rhody; thankfully they are all over the place now.

One of our two favorite shopping stores! Great quality and variety of products from animal needs, to household items, to all weather clothing, to outdoor and repair equipment. The BEST prices around! Special deals weekly. Great offers for customers: we buy items for discounted prices AND receive credits for the same amounts to be used for purchases for other items at later visits. You go home happy because of your satisfying purchases and because you still have money left in your pocket for other things. Cant be beaten!

Terrible experience lines are formed in aisles in which customers shop; so inefficient. Cashiers refuse to mark dollar amount on crazy deal gift cards. They shove the card and receipt towards you and tell you their pens dont work. They sell permanent markers within store. Heres a tip: open a package so your helping the customer. The store is set up with little room to shop. Aisles are clogged with humidifiers, fans in all shapes and sizes. Constant run one with carriages. ALWAYS keep the woman with pigtails as the main cashier for returns, special orders, etc. She is always kind, polite, efficient and very pleasant no matter how busy the store is. She doesnt belong on the floor stocking. Leave that to the short, chubby woman with no personality as she cannot run register one. Constantly yelling, barking orders to staff and closing cashiers after youve been waiting 20+ minutes in a line. She belongs on floor with Barry. Wont be back to this location..

Its my favorite place to shop. Lots of items to choose from. I am a big fan of Bobs Red Mill products and they carry a lot of the product (Better than trying to find them at the grocery store). They do the whole covid thing.

Well organized and neat, I find great little finds here than I do at some of the other locations. Their rug selection isnt as good though, but they make up for it in other areas

I always find some bargains at OSJL. Whether its name brand chocolates or kitchen stuff. Also they have crazy deals where you can get the same amount of money as crazy deals card that your can spend later. Effectively getting the first item free. Well the price of that first item is not always the best value but the crazy deal makes the whole thing a great bargain.Always check out OSJL before going to other stores you may end up saving lot of money.

Prices arent great for simple things and they had no pools at all.

The cleanest Ocean State Job Lot that I have seen. I found what I want and went home happy. Good store and reasonably priced.

Always a surprise in store at Ocean State. Half the fun of stopping there is seeing what unusual items have made it to their shelves. There are many bargains to be had here.

Been a customer here for at least 10 years and used to enjoy coming here until my most recent experience. I went to purchase storage bins. I took the last few bins. They were black bins and had big white scratches on them and dents.I asked the cashier if I could get a discount since they were damaged. I then spoke with the manager and she said well they are storage bins and they are going to get damaged so I dont know what to tell you. I told her I understand that and the products I am buying should be in new condition prior to purchasing them. From there, she gave me attitude and no discount. I ended up going to Home Depot down the street and purchased the exact same bins for a few dollars more and was content with that knowing that I was getting what I paid for.I was extremely disappointed because all of the other staff there are great, the store is always clean, they are in a great location, and have good products. I am disappointed in the managers response and attitude that I received for asking to provide a discount for the inconvenience of having to purchase technically a used product since it was damaged. I dont mind purchasing used products (depending on what they are) but I should not have to pay the price of a new product for something that is damaged. Due to this experience, I will never return there.

I love this O.S.J.L.. Its like a combination Walmart/grocery store, in that it carries about 75% of their type of merchandise, its very close to where I live...so I can just hop in and out if I need just about anything (except for milk, bread, eggs, meats, etc.)

Interesting place. Big selection & very good specials & prices. A rewards program that lets you get more for your dollars (Crazy Deals). Quantities vary so if you see something you want get there quick. Very friendly service, community oriented, matches donations.

Good spot to come for gardening supplies and plants, homewares, packaged food products, stationary, and cleaning products.

Went to the one in Foxboro to pick up some of their specials. The inside is really just a mishmash of stock literally everywhere! You have to keep your eyes open because not only are the aisles wide enough for just 1 cart but it is easy to crash into someone coming via a cross aisle.That being said they have some unique items as well as the basics and at very decent pricing.I wish the store was just a little less chaotic inside but otherwise you can get some awesome deals there!!

Love this place. All kinds of stuff at great prices. Never know what will be on display. Store in Foxboro is small and crowded. Cant wait for store near me in PA to open.

I usually troll this store once a week because they are always getting new items in. I like that I can go online and put coupons from their flyer on to my Job Lot card. Employees are friendly and helpful & will help you to ur car if needed. Parking can be tight at times due to other stores in the plaza. Overall its a nice store to browse around, especially if you have an hour or so to spare!! 🤗

Very impressive array of items for sale. We picked up a bunch of board games and floor puzzles to keep the school kids busy during shut down.

Its ok for an off price retailer. Their pricing is reasonable and they send sale item circulars regularly through the mail. You can join their emailing for additional specials notification. Quantities may be limited, so be warned. I have gone there to buy sale items from time to time only to find I waited too long. The staff is helpful in many cases, but dont always know where an item might be found, or whats on sale that week. One cashier I encountered would not take a penny I offered with my payment because it was too dirty. I still shop there though. The merchandise Ive purchased has always been as it should be and Ive never had to return anything, so if youre looking for off priced items at reasonable prices go and browse. Youll probably come away with something.

I love browsing at this store. I always find what I need at a reasonable price. Their sales are really good. I have bought a lot there for much less I would have paid some where else.

I came here and saw two separate customers shopping without masks on. The store did nothing to enforce the mask policy. This is unacceptable. I wont be back.

This has to be the biggest OSJL Ive ever been in. Bright, cheery, well stocked even at minutes before Christmas. Staff all pleasant and helpful. A joyous shopping experience for the last minute necessities. Grateful for the opportunity to give to the food bank.Cannot comment about how well it is served by public transportation, and I didnt see a well-anchored bike rack. I would have given five stars if there were a way to get here while traveling green.Plus, we got a great sunset on the ride home. :-)

I buy all my pool supplies and chemicals hear! Dont waste your money at the pool stores. You can get most of the chemicals/ additives here for at least half the price or even more!

Im a firm believer that if you do not have time to go shopping you should not complain about the line. With that being said, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful but there is zero sense of urgency at the register. Customer services key!

Staff told me the item I was looking for was not sold there. Asked two staff members. Then I found the product I had asked for on my own . Store could be cleaner and more organized. All in the the prices are great.

Wholesale pricing on items you buy everyday at your local supermarket or department store as well many items that arent easily found. Saves you money. Ive bought outdoor patio stuff, lawn and garden, clothing, groceries, baked goods, household supplies, hardware items. The list goes on and on. I often find myself saying, Ill bet Ocean State Job Lot has that! and they usually do.

The Foxboro location on Rt 140 is well kept. A nicer shopping experience than the Brockton or Bridgewater locations. The staff is equally as courteous at all three locations but the store is better organized in Foxboro.
