Been purchasing ammunition from them for the last year, but recently decided to purchase a firearm from them. The process was simple and they promptly answered any questions I had. Theyre very knowledgeable and theres none of that firearm elitist attitude that you get at other shops.

This place overcharged me for my Glock. I’ve never bought a gun so i didn’t know anything about gun prices. They charged me me almost 1000 for a Glock. I didn’t know I got ripped off until I went to the firing line and they had a Glock for only 400 bucks. Do not come here they will take advantage of you.

I usually dont rate anything unless the employees has done something memorable. However, this is an exception because the employees has gone above and beyond my expectations. As a first time rifle owner it can be a daunting responsibility. But they were nothing but patient and respectful. They answered questions and made me understand my rifle even more. Ultimately, if this is your first time or you just wanna stop by, dont let the area fool you. Because the service is so much more personal and Ill definitely be coming back.

Mike and Fabian are great to deal with. They swapped the front post out on my USP Expert while I waited. You could not ask for better service. I have also used them for transfers in the past as well and they have always made the process easy. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.

$25 dollars for 25 rounds of dove ammo..do not go to this store..hella price gouging..these are the regular Winchester steel target load that goes for around $9.99 a box..SMH..

As a beginner into owning firearms, Fabian and Mike are very knowledgeable. They helped me through my first firearm purchase and getting the handgun I wanted. I shouldve wrote this awhile ago but about a couple months ago my wife went and bought some 380 FMJ ammunition from these guys and they charged her $37 for 50 rounds. She called me and asked if she should buy it for that price. I said go ahead since theres an ammo shortage at the moment and we might not find 380 anywhere soon. A week later we visited Turners and they were selling 380 FMJ of 50 rounds for $18. We went ahead and bought those. The ammo that my wife bought from The Armory wasnt any type of special ammo. It was your normal 380 FMJ. We both realized at that moment that these guys did some price gouging because I knew that price was way too high but told her to buy it anyway. I figured ammo prices in general every where will be much higher than usual at this time. It turns out ammo prices staid the same at other places. Im not a huge fan of Turners but they didnt price gouge. I understand theres an pandemic and theres an ammo shortage and i get it, but I cannot stand companies that price gouge. As nice as my experience has been in person with the workers at The Armory, I will never ever support that shop again.

When we got there, we had to wait 50 minutes for their supposed 30 minute lunch. Yet we were patient. Has a two person limit, myself and my boyfriend with our daughter[it was okay that she was with us and was not counted as an additional person) respectfully waited till the two people inside came out. But only one came out, so we wanted to wait for the 2nd person to leave so we could both come in, but a short/fat worker said that he was going to let someone else come in instead if one of us didnt come in. With that kind of rule, my boyfriend and I wouldnt ever be able to go in together at all because we wouldve have to had let the next person in each time.

Employee supposedly named David, made me feel uncomfortable. A short unattractive fellow, he also had a open carry pistol which is to be expected for defense but all these made us feel uncomfortable. He had his hand on the pistol at all times like he was ready to shoot. I had to leave out of fear of my life actually. What was this guy scared of? Buying a gun for your first time can be scary, it doesn’t help when the employee looks like he might shoot you. DON’T WORK AT A GUN SHOP IF YOU ARE SCARED OF PEOPLE. Avoid this place at all costs, don’t give them any business. That employee needs to go, and he shouldn’t carry a firearm. People like that shoot people for a perceived threat. Buyer beware buy at your own risk. A coward with a gun is very dangerous.

I was shopping for a new lower and I saw on on the manufacturers website they were an authorized dealer.So I called and spoke to Mike. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions and gave me a great price!He even matched an online vendors price!!!Which if you don’t know is great because online prices are insanely low.Told him I would be there after work to check it out since they had the one I wanted in stock.When I got to the shop I was greeted low and behold Mike had the part pulled and waiting for me!We took care of all the paperwork and thanks to the great state of California I’ll be able to pick up my new lower in 10 days.Mike and The Armory made my purchase quick, simple and very pleasant.I highly recommend The Armory to anyone and everyone!

I purchased a handgun from this location. The price was more or less satisfactory. Went there to buy some accessories/mags a couple of days ago. Im relatively new to the gun game, I found out their prices are massively overpriced. For example, a magazine from the manufacturer costs significantly less than the price they are offering. I would have taken the items back, but there is a 30% restocking fee. Restocking fee aka putting item back on the shelf like two feet away from them. That is ridiculously high. Especially if you purchase over 100 dollars or so. They dont seem to care for the customer at all. I understand they have to make a profit to run their business, but come on. Go someplace else where they might actually value the customer.

Ive been doing business with these guys for two years and theyre great. They have a good variety in the store, their prices are competitive, and they are excellent about placing orders (if looking for something specific). You can call them 100 times and youll get the same great support each time, theyre knowledgeable, patient and will answer your questions without blowing you off or making you feel dumb. Before you go to the big retailers to save a buck give these businesses your support.

This was not my typical kind of shopping trip and it was quite intimidating when calling around asking about the process of purchasing a handgun. I will say that from the website to phone calls to in store interactions, The Armory made the process so smooth and stress free. Their website is user friendly and I appreciate the links to the handbook that is needed for the safety cert. test. Over the phone all of my questions were answered and with no annoyance, which was expected considering I had a ton of questions. In store Colton immediately addressed me and set me up to take the test. I then went to mike who again answered a number of questions and made sure my item was going to be available in time for Christmas. I will also say that their prices are fair from the research I gathered. I highly recommend them especially to customers who are first time buyers!

I contacted the Armory in regard to purchasing a shotgun and some ammunition for Central California Builders Exchange Annual Clay Shoot. Mike Van Dyke got right back to me and was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. I tried two other businesses before talking to Mike at the Armory and one was not friendly at all the other never responded to my email. I recommend the Armory to anyone in need of their type of product or service.

Just bought a Glock 23 from the Armory and have had a great experience. Ive been to other shops and have been completely ignored. Every guy working acknowledged me with a hello. Mike answered all of my questions and got me in and out quickly! Two thumbs up!

Was poking around various shops in the area for a pistol, not my first purchase and knew what I was looking for. First, when I called them, they picked up the phone and were able to answer immediately what they had in stock in the models I was looking for. Went in a little later in the day today to take a look at it. On walking in and looking at the used stuff for a minute, I was greeted by one of the clerks- told him what I had called in about and he took me right over. Explained the differences between the two and showed me the ins and outs. Super friendly dude, I decided to buy on the spot, as their pricing was a little better and they were easy to deal with. Great selection of pistols and rifles, and their prices are right, may go back and pickup one of the rifles I have my eye on at some point as well!

Great place to visit. I had a issue today where I needed a gas tube pinned to a gas block. I brought it in and they took care of me right away. Fast and friendly service. Clean, well lit and stocked store. Like Arnold says Ill be back.

I would have given them a 0 if it was an option. The owner is very unprofessional and doesn’t know anything about customer service. I had gone in for a private party transfer and the firearm had just been cleaned thoroughly by the seller, I inspected the firearm and can say it was spotless (no carbon residue). After I waited my 10 days and picked up the firearm there was carbon residue on the bolt, mag well, and down the barrel. After I asked the owner if it was common practice for them to shoot firearms that are in the possession, he stated that they don’t even have a range there...I understand that but that doesn’t mean that he could not have taken the firearm somewhere else. Then after I told him the gun was cleaned before we brought it in, he said “you must not have done a very good job cleaning it”. I’m pretty sure that is how NOT to talk to your customers. Bottom line, this place is a joke and overpriced.
