Greatly appreciated the responsiveness in scheduling a date; understanding the design I was seeking and adjusting to making the vision for my closet a reality; appreciate the attention to detail, the precision in the installation. The installers, Mike the owner and Donna were great to work with; Important to note that during the chaos of reconstruction, I greatly appreciate their patience, their understanding and ability to explain things in a way that kept me assured that all was going to look great!! I am very grateful to the staff and installation experts at Closets By Design Fresno. During this crazy time where labor and materials are all in short supply, I knew I would have to wait a bit to get my closets. But my appointment was kept, I was helped through a little problem of my own doing, with the cabinets, and the installation crew went above and beyond to help me get the cabinets that I wanted!

Madi designed a great closet for us and the final product was even better than anticipated. Chris who installed the closets did a great job and installed by himself even though it was a pretty big job, he was on time and called me prior to arrival. He did a great job!

Closet and pantry organizer design got us more space and better organization. Installation went smoothly, no mess and great customer service.

Starting with the design process, the designer had some great ideas for us, the process was easy, and quick. The install process was very professional, fast, and clean. The only issue was the time between design and install was about 10 weeks.

Easy design process and quick install. Thinking of using my kids closets too.I’m editing this review for multiple reasons. I had Melissa come out and design my kids closets. I love the designs, however the “quick” install upon further inspection really depicted a quick install. A supervisor came out over a month ago and marked up several pieces that needed to be replaced. I haven’t heard anything back. I called the office yesterday to follow up & still no information.Needless to say I am holding off on ordering the kids’ closets. At this point we have all gotten used to living out of storage tubs.

Had the initial in home consult back in October. A month later I contacted the person who helped me because I had heard nothing. I had to call the company to request another salesperson to help me because of the lack of response a week later. The same salesperson contacts me the next day to ask about the installation date. I answered her and have heard nothing since then. That was almost 2 months ago. I decided to shop around for a media center and found the perfect one, I saved about $2000.00 from the quote I was given by Closets by Design.

Called several times with a question about the product we bought with no response. Even bad news is some news. I made an appointment to have them measure my garage, they told me what would fit and some options to think about. They were back a few days later with working drawings and an estimate. It wasnt a big box store price but they arent big box store cabinets. The installation crew came days ahead of schedule and transformed our garage in a few hours. Everyone was courteous, prompt and professional. Were very very happy with what they built for us.

I already own products from this company and just love them, very sturdy and well made. The reason for 4 stars is that the price was higher than expected but I will again review once I receive the final product. Matt was thorough and very accommodating. Im sure to use these guys again for other projects in my home.

I had my pantry installed in March and have been taking to Donna about getting another shelf for it. It has been 2 months and I have heard every excuse from her. I will call California closets before freaking with her again.

Scheduling needs help:I scheduled an appointment with them, they were 2 months out just to come give me a layout and quote. I confirmed my appointment the day before with the text they sent me. The designer Melissa called an hr before the appointment to confirm. I was busy and unable to answer so I got back to her just before 10 and now she will be an hr late.

We had a unique need to create a walk in closet within a bedroom. Rian drew up the floor plan and gave us a quote that was reasonable. The installation started on the scheduled date - with a slight completion delay. The end result was a great looking project. Miguel the job manager was a pleasure to work with. Only request Miguel as installer. Anyways some time ago l scheduled installation of cabinets days ahead of time and day of installation the workers were half day late. I took a whole day off from work waiting an planning. The owner never called to apologize or make adjustments. These people make a killing on these products. So held back $400 from total cost. Make sure do not do business with these people. Its better to pay more and get good service the trying to get cheap prices and be totally unhappy. Be careful when doing business with these people.

Closet by design is awesome. They took care of every single concern that we had. They truely believe in customer satisfaction. I would definitely recommend closet by design.

So far so Good! Mike is Awesome! Draws and prices a design right on the spot. Very knowledgeable at his craft. Went out of his way to make sure we chose the perfect items to suit our needs. We install soon and I am betting that goes off without a hitch based on the level of service this far!
