I have heard that the Avocado mattress was amazing. I was skeptical. My experience at the Fullerton store was as great as the mattress. Thaj allowed me to take my time and test the various mattresses with no pressure to buy. The luxury mattress is like sleeping on a soft but supportive cloud. I can’t wait to receive my new mattress. If you are in the market for a mattress; you must try Avocado.

I am thrilled with my new Avocado Green mattress and foundation. Everything about the buying process was easy and efficient. My purchase arrived in a timely manner. The setup was straightforward. I was immediately comfortable upon first lying down on my Avocado with no need for an adjustment period. I have been blown away by the customer service provided to us by Avocado at the Fullerton location. Erika, the general manager, has assisted us with the purchasing and delivering of our mattress & topper. Every time we have a question, she has answered it. Every time we have a request, she as fulfilled it. Every step in this process has been easy- and we feel valued as customers. I cannot recommend this company enough!

Everything was better than expected. Our salesperson was knowledgeable and pleasant. We got to try the mattresses and toppers to our satisfaction. We also got a few discounts we were not expecting. I highly recommend this store and its products. The only problem was that there was not a telephone number to call to check on a few things before traveling to their store (which is some distance from my home in heavy traffic). I was told they were going to correct this deficiency soon.

Avocado Mattress is somewhat unique, making their products locally and upon demand. Brianna did a fine job helping us with our selections. Now well wait for delivery hoping the mattress will be as good as its ratings.

We felt that our Tempurpedic mattress was starting to swallow us, and we read about the Avocado Green Mattress built here in SoCal that includes individually wrapped springs for support as well as latex for comfort. We visited the factory store in Fullerton that shares space with their restful, beautifully designed showroom with only five mattresses. Nothing overwhelming like a big commercial mattress store. Our sales associate Bree was very professional and listened carefully to what we were looking for. She gave us a sheet and two pillow covers that we could take from bed to bed to safely try them out. She showed us a cut-away sample of the construction of each mattress, which made understanding what we liked and why much easier. We had all the time we needed to really settle in to each one. It was a relaxing, comfortable experience, quite unlike our previous mattress shopping. We were pleased with the excellent warranty and return period available. The materials are organic and naturally flame retardant, and no chemical gasses are emitted, so we feel we are doing something good for the local economy, the environment, and our own sleep.

Ive been researching non toxic beds since I had a very bad reaction to a new mattress, I wanted to try out the different beds before I purchased one. My husband and I tried out the mattresses and purchased a bed and mattress. Cant wait until it all arrives. Great customer service! Thank you for making non toxic mattresses and furniture.

Avocado green experience was great. Tahj was very informative and patient with my partner and I while we tried out the beds and discussed it all over before making the final decision to make the switch. We have just recenlty made our purchase and are waiting for our delivery update, so I cannot speak for the mattress itself yet, however I am pretty confident so far with making the large purchase! Also, the store was very clean and other customers were very respectful in regards to space while shopping and laying on the beds. So if you are unsure you want to go in for the experience, I assure you during this time you will feel confident and safe while doing so. Very good experience. I am excited for our delivery to arrive and have a restful comfy sleep. The best part is going to be sleeping on and with products that are healthy for us and eco friendly.

So disappointed! Had a wonderful experience picking out our bed. Erica, the store manager was very low key and helpful. We were not sure which mattress was right for us. After asking us a few questions, she helped us find one! And she introduced us to the adjustable base with the zero gravity and massage feature. We were sold! Bought the avocado green mattress with adjustable base, mattress topper, and mattress protectors!We patiently and excitedly waited for our delivery day! When we got the email that it was coming we prepared our bedroom, removed our bed and were ready for the avocado! It arrived! Too short for our bed! We have a california king and got a regular king!Called Erica, she said she distinctly remembered us telling her we wanted a regular king, not a California king! We bought the bed June 1st, now its July 20th, and she remembers distinctly? Her contention that my husband and I both told her the wrong size is just not true. No apologies, just said it was miscommunication. Said to send everything back.I could not find anywhere on line for help.We are sleeping in our guest bedroom, not were we want to be....dont know what to do next....start looking all over again?Wish I was writhing a different review.

We have been mattress shopping for several weeks. Focused on a hybrid mattress and have looked at and laid on several brands. A friend recommended we visit Avocado as he had recently purchased an Avocado mattress and gave a high and hearty recommendation. When we got to the showroom we were helped by Melissa. Very product knowledgable, helpful, and pleasant salesperson to be around. Again, we have been mattress shopping for weeks, lots of product, lots of brands.We left the Avocado store with a written order which we will finalize in the very near future when my wife and I can confirm a delivery date that works for us. It is tough to judge a mattress in a showroom, however if the mattress we ordered is as good as the one we tried I now know why friend gave Avocado his high and hearty recommendation. Trusting the delivery and set up service is as good as we got from Melissa in the showroom.

We bought our mattresses after visiting the factory store in Fullerton. My wife and I went mattress shopping all day and this was by far the best experience. Taj helped us answer questions and test the beds in a pressure free environment.I only gave 4 stars because the back end of the purchase was a little confusing. This is probably because they are a smaller company and I wouldn’t let this discourage others from purchasing a mattress if they like it.Mattress took a week to arrive and everything so far looks great.

Taj was excellent and very knowledgeable in her description of all of the different mattresses. I trusted her honest opinion in what would work for me. She helped me identify what would best meet my needs.I especially appreciated her friendly, relaxed manner.

Went to the factory store in Fullerton and got amazing service! The space is very clean and aesthetically-pleasing, and Jacqueline was really helpful and kind. I went to check out the mattresses in person and will be ordering mine online, but attendants can also help you place your order there. Overall, a very pleasant experience that I would recommend if you are still unsure what to get.

The moment I stepped in the Avocado store, I felt like being in the nature. Taj gave us a warm welcome and detailed explanations of all the mattresses. I tested each one and selected the Luxury Plush without the pillow top. It feels right for me. I like a bed with good spine support and contoured plush comfort. I also love the materials they are using. They are all natural without the bad smell. I have to wait 3 weeks for the bed to be made. I saw the warehouse in the back of the store where they make the bed. The services are excellent! Taj is great and everyone else are supper nice and friendly too. I cant wait to sleep on this bed!

Just received my replacement Avocado pillows, very sloppy presentation. Ill fitted sloppily placed pillows. It’s like these pillows were already “broken in.” So disappointed in this company.

Went to check out their mattresses. They were really great. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable. Answering every question we had.

Salesperson was friendly and helpful. Allowed us to try every firm mattress, provided a fresh, clean sheet, with pillows covered with a fresh clean sheet. We got to see them making mattresses behind the glass. Repeatedly offered beverages & snacks, not just 1 token offer. Even gave us a brief history and direction of the company.

Extremely disappointing customer service. The Avocado Green Mattress looks great, too bad Im no longer a customer. I placed my order October 1, expecting a 6+ week delay as their website stated. But the order confirmation was the only communication I received during the entire time until now. I reached out to politely request an update of any kind and was only met with automated marketing response. Followed soon by another one telling me to expect 5 business days to receive a human response. It does seem like they have plenty of bandwidth for regular social media posts though. So still before hearing from a human, I reluctantly requested Customer Service to cancel my order, still hoping a human would intervene to maintain my business. Nope, a human did finally intervene to simply say sure your order is canceled. No attempt to salvage, interesting business strategy. I understand there are supply chain and shipping delays which they do state clearly, but all I wanted was to simply be treated like a customer, or you know, a person. I suppose Im whining, but I really wanted this mattress...a HIGH VALUE purchase...and I was ignored and forced to move on instead.EDIT: For what its worth, adding a star. One of the companys founders, Jay, actually reached out to me personally, scheduled a phone meeting, and completely took responsibility for the poor communication. There was no longer any business to resolve, but I respect that he owned the situation.

Although the products do take a while to ship, it’s totally worth the wait. Since Avocado Green Mattress Company only uses only the finest, quality materials in there products, I imagine it’s much harder to acquire these goods. Customer service was top notch each time I reached out to them with questions. The last customer service representative, Taj W. was the absolute BEST! Talk about outstanding and friendly service through emails! I almost went with another company for my mattress and pillows but read their reviews on customer service and decided to go with Avocado instead. So glad I did! Truly awesome service and products! Thanks again Taj for always being so helpful and quick to respond whenever I had any inquiries!

Avocado mattresses are so comfortable. Very very comfortable. I highly recommend you go to your local showroom and try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. The best mattresses out there hands down.

This is a review for the store only as I have yet to purchase a mattress. Representative (Jude) was very helpful.After showing us their two different kinds of their pillows and letting us select one that fit best for us, we were able to try various mattresses and topper combos with an individual sheet for each of our selected pillows and the bed (covid friendly). There was enough space to roll around and lay on the mattresses without a sales person hawking us. The cold brew did not hurt either!Each product we tried had an explanation of the materials, where they were sourced and how they compared to traditional methods. At the end an invoice with discounts was sent to us, signifying that a purchase was not necessary at this time but had we wanted to then the current price with promotions would not change. The no pressure environment is a welcome change from traditional show rooms.

My girlfriend and I have been shopping around for a mattress for about 6 months. We tried various companies that offer various levels of firmness but we also wanted to be as Eco-friendly as possible. We settled on two different companies, Avocado and one other. Both offered what we were looking for at around the same price as one another. We had the opportunity to visit the Avocado show room in Fullerton CA, and that made all the difference.When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a very friendly associate, Brianna U. Due to COVID she had us wait at the entrance while she took our temperatures, which was much appreciated, after that she asked what we were looking for and we explained the situation. She offered for us to try the first mattress but before we did, she laid down a sheet across the mattress and across the pillows. Once my girlfriend and I laid down, Brianna stepped away, I assume so we didnt feel pressured. We took our time and moved around a bunch but we wanted to try different mattress with or without a mattress topper. We tried every possible combination they had to offer and never once did Brianna grow impatient, sigh, or roll her eyes. She was kind, knowledgeable, professional, and patient. We wanted to discuss what we thought of each one in private. Brianna offered us each a cup of kombucha while we sat outside. After we decided on a mattress and topper that felt great and met our standards, we met Brianna back inside and asked her all the questions that we could think of. There was never any hesitation in her answers and she answered them completely, confidently, and competently.We contacted Brianna a few days later via email and she replied immediately. I mentioned a coupon I found online and she honored it, which was a nice surprise. The mattress felt great and were excited for it to arrive but Brianna was the real selling point. She deserves a raise, promotion, a bounus and an extra vacation. I dont know if youll read this Brianna but thank you for your hard work and your patience.

Had a great experience today buying our new mattress. Our saleslady, Taj, (not sure if I spelled that right) was informative and knowledgeable. She let us take our time trying out all the mattresses until we settled on the first one we laid down on. She rang us up quickly and we look forward to getting out new mattress next month. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Very positive experience.When you walk in they ask you to use hand sanitizer and then take your temp, once cleared you get to try out the mattresses that they put a bed sheet over to keep it clean from cooties and dirt in your shoes. They also do the same with the pillows, placing a clean pillow case on top of it and then you just take the sheets and pillows with you from bed to bed until you find the one.

We had a great experience at the Fullerton store. Taj was very helpful, knowledgeable and most of all patient. We had our to kids with us and were often distracted by them. Then when trying to finalize the purchase online I was having issues with my card. Taj responded to my emails promptly and took care of everything like a pro. Thank you Taj, we cant wait for the bed to arrive.

The Store Manager, Katelyn, helped me resolve an issue that I was having around the purchase of an Avocado Green Mattress. The mistake was entirely my fault, but she was Kind and professional in dealing with me. I believe she represented Avocado, at the highest level of Courtesy. I have not yet received my mattress (just bought it today) but based on the reviews and research Ive done and their wonderful Staff, I have the highest expectations.

I purchased and paid for a king-size green mattress (November 1st) and platform (November 8th). I was told it would be manufactured and delivered with two weeks. The Fullerton store does not have a telephone number and you can only communicate via email. I have tried repeatedly to communicate with the Fullerton store and have not been able to get solid answers to my questions. Very frustrating experience and I could not recommend this company - at this point of time - to anyone.
