Sitting here with a tasteless egg salad sandwich and having to listen to loud angry rap music ( always great for digestion) and on top of it having to listen to loud remodeling ( because lunchtime is always great time for that). Fryer is not working apparently and young lady at front is harried. Sad Covid destroyed many businesses but somehow they are still here?? New partnership doesn’t seem to be working, this used to be a great place to eat

So fresh and delicious. We ordered sandwiches yesterday, and they were so so so fresh! Highly recommend the large chocolate chip cookie (like size of your face). Ordered breakfast this morning.. omelette, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and cherry danish (originally ordered a blueberry muffin but they ran out). Very very tasty! This place is better than a lot of the breakfast and deli places in Raleigh and Durham. We love that this place is close to us and is a local business. We will be back soon!

The most inconsistent food/cooks. Sometimes it will be good then others it looks like a 5 year old made it. For example, a ham egg and cheese sometimes it’ll only have 1 tiny triangle of ham for the entire sandwich, other times it’ll have the perfect amount of ham. If you ask for extra ham sometimes they’ll give you a perfect amount then others it’ll be an inch thick layer of nothing but ham. It was better when it was Bagels+

We eat here a lot and they used to be good, but the last few times have been super disappointing. Today was the final straw. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Never have I ever had a Caesar salad with iceberg lettuce. Caesar salads are made with romaine. On top of the iceberg lettuce, they put the HOT grilled chicken. Which had wilted that iceberg lettuce down to mush by the time I got home with my food. They couldve put the chicken in a different container. Adding to that, the extra dressing I ordered was just poured on the salad and not put in a separate cup like most restaurants do. So my wilted lettuce was also swimming in dressing, making it slimy and inedible. The staff have been super slow and they just act confused all the time. Last time I was in there, there were actually people getting refunds because their food was taking so long. Train your staff better or hire some people that have common sense.

The food was great pretty good and looks excellent. The coffee is awful. The place is not well maintained and dirty with lots of flies. There was even a bug in the sugar dispenser for the coffee. Praying I don’t get food poisoning.

The donuts and other pastries are very good and not too sweet. I recommend the chocolate cigar or the eclair. The wait time was as expected on a busy Sunday morning. For my taste Id say as far as pastries go, this place is very much like the utica bakery truck in Apex.

I didnt expect to find good bagels in the south, but they are very good here. I only gave 3 stars because the prices are very high. I actually paid 35% more for the same bagel, egg & cheese + coffee than I did in NJ ($7.09 vs. $5.30).... And the coffee is fine but not as excellent as I would hope to be the case given the pricing and volume being sold.

Way overpriced!! I ordered a bacon egg & cheese on a toasted bagel with a coffee & they charged me almost $10 for it. the bagel wasnt toasted & everything in it was cold. I would be understanding if it was busy inside but it wasnt.

I ordered a plain bagel with sausage and cheese. Got a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. And because i dont eat eggs i gave it back and reasonably asked for it to be remade. I get back a bagel with 1 sausage and no cheese and still had eggs on it. My first time here and im extremely disappointed. Do not recommend.

The bagels are delicious and there’s a great variety to choose from. The pastries and banana bread i love as well! Only gave it 4 stars because the service isn’t very fast. We waited 15 mins for 4 bagel sandwiches. I will still be back though!

Drove 20 minutes for 6 bagels Sunday morning, bagels were great but unfortunately they only put 5 in the bag and still charged us for 6. Did not want to drive back but had some disappointed kids. They were not that busy so there is no reason why they couldnt put the right amount in the bag.

Ive driven past Bluegrass Bagels many times not knowing that its also an American cuisine grill. They feature many items from burgers to salads and lots in between.Its a counter serve place with comfortable seating. It was clean and the service fast and friendly.The cheeseburger I had was large and was very good. The fries were hot and crispy.I wanted to take some bagels home but they were out of the kind I wanted (to be fair, it was late afternoon and they were sold out so I dont hold it against them.) Ill come another day in the morning.Oh! They gave us two free donuts with the meal. :-)Recommended!

Don’t bother going when it’s busy (eg. noon on Saturday). Long waiting times for hot food, check your order before you leave. Despite appearing well staffed, they’re unbelievably disorganized when it gets busy. It’s not bad during non peak times though.

Best bagels this side of NY Deli. One of our go tos on the weekend. Makes good omelets and breakfast potatoes.

Count your bagels before you leave.I ordered several times from this place including today.The last several times they gave me 12 vs. 13 and I have ignored it since when you buy the dozen bagels the 13th is free. Today I ordered the same thing and trusted they did it right but I instead of getting 13 bagels I got 11 and it not acceptable and the rest of the customers need to know my experience.I called them today to point out the issue and instead of providing the right customer service experience the only thing I got out of them is “I am sorry “.I am all in supporting of local business but it does not give them the right to do this to the customers.

Bagels plus in Fuquay-Varina, nc. A wonderful bakery, bagel, and breakfast place. Soft, fresh bagels. There is a wide variety of bagels. We got the garlic bagel and it was very tasty. One bite and you know it is fresh made. The latkas were perfectly seasoned with chive n salt. Challah toast was sweet, soft, and didnt even need syrup. Coffee is actually good quality. Seating is comfortable, the staff are very friendly. The owner even came by and gave us cookies! Will definitely come back.

We visited Bluegrass Bagels on Memorial Day after visiting friends in the area in effort to give our business to local restaurants. This was the biggest restaraunt debacle Ive ever seen. We placed a to go order for a bagel with cream cheese and a simple egg sandwich. After about 30 minutes for a simple to go order, they asked us if we would be okay with a different bagel...sure. Then, 10 minutes later someone different ended up asking the same question. After 40 minutes, our order had not even made it back to the kitchen. The excuse was that they were busy. After the people behind us got their order before us, we asked for a refund and went to ChickFilA. All of the staff looked extremely frazzled. There is nothing that makes a 40 minute wait time okay with NO updates. It seemed like all the customers in the restaurant were having the same issue. I have never witnessed this level of incompetence in a restaurant. Do not go here. And suggestion for the restaraunt...get a ticket system to make sure things are going in and out on time.

Yummy .yummm . Yummmm. Hidden gem! Another local business owner told us about bagels plus! My daughter enjoyed the chicken fingers. Shes also enjoyed the horse carousel for 50cent out back. The staff are very warm and friendly! I had a everything bagel with honey walnut cream cheese with lox! Amazing .

We came in on Saturday @ 5pm. No wait, no line. The food is AMAZING !!! Im from Jersey so very picky about my hoagies! They tasted just like back home!!! Loaded with meat !! And the 12 was huge ! Enough to feed 2 people or have extra lunch for the next day.We also got desserts. They were very delicious as well.A little pricey, but its def worth it & the quality is there !

3 stars because the owner seems like a nice gentleman that cares and he uses good quality product for his food but his employees aren’t friendly nor helpful the girl at the register was not helpful and told me the bagels were labeled but they were all mislabeled they only had 4 different types of bagels and couldn’t tell me which one was which. Then the guy in the kitchen rang the bell to let them know our bagels were done every single one of the employees walked by them and even stood in front of them serval times and ignore the fact that our food was just sitting there getting cold for the longest time I think they ignore us purposely.

Horrible experience. First time customer, the staff was rude and I waited 25 minutes for two bagels while multiple people who came in afterwards were being served. Another woman had the same experience as she was waiting for her order and just wanted her money back. The staff were horribly rude and I will not be back here. Over priced and terrible service.

Our favorite thing to do is grab brunch on Sundays, usually at IHOP but one Sunday the wait was just too long, so we popped in here. Why did we wait so long? Ample parking in front and back; though it is busy on Sunday mornings, they really have fast service. Service is really casual (disposables) but they put the quality in the food. Definitely go for the namesake, its what they excel at. Enjoyed an everything bagel with lox complete with cream cheese, red onions, tomato and caper. Bagel was fresh, chewy and flavorful and the lox was delicious without being overly salty. Definitely want to return and try something off of their hot sandwich menu. Looks like this will be our new Sunday brunch spot.

The food is good but vibe and methodology to get customers in and out the door aggravate me every time I set foot inside. Thats on me but I dont feel that way in other establishments. Will find someplace else and wont be back.

This was an ok experience. Weirdly, everthing presented better in the case than it wound up being on the table. Primarily, however, is that nothing was particularly clean. The tray our food came out on had at least one prior customers food still on it...gross. Seriously...wipe the trays. It doesnt take that long.Coffee was ok, iced tea was a little bitter. Everything was ok, but not much more.

Great bagels friendly cashier. Selfish owner! No mask doesnt care that anyone that comes in is wearing or not wearing one either. Second time. Time to find a new place to get bagels. Changed their name but didnt change their ways. Wont be back.

Went there on a Sunday at 12:45, they close at 6:00 PM and they had no bagels and said they werent making any more for the day. A bagel store that wasnt closing for over 5 hours has no bagels and they arent making any? Definitely the last time Ill ever go there!

While I have enjoyed your bagels for a quick stop in the morning you are beginning to slip. The cream cheese is being spread very thin and when I ask for my bagel to be toasted, please do. I was in and out in less than a minute and a half. You had no time to toast it and it surely was not, so why say you did.

First of all it still took 30+ minutes to get a bagel sandwich and home fries. I Even put my order in on the app- When they came it was falling apart and if you see my photo, that’s tomato from someone else’s food on my sandwich 🤮The whole place looks like it’s NEVER been cleaned. Dirt and food build up in the cases, rusty dirty water dripping fromAbove the food. There was an old container of some fish salad they labeled “use first” and had a date several days ago on it 🤢There were flies landing on all of the bagels that just sit in the open all day. I will not be returning.

I was very impressed by their wide selection of delicious food covering so much more than just bagels. Although unassuming in every way the food speaks for itself. The sort of breakfast or lunch youd expect from a high-end downtown restaurant with the comfort youd expect from a local diner.

Only place for bagels and Italian treats.

My bf and I went here without knowing any of the history of the owner. We got 2 sandwiches, 2 desserts, and fries. We were made to feel welcomed even though we came in 45 minutes before they closed. And the woman behind the counter was extremely nice and patient while I Ohd and Ahd over all the baked goods. Food took maybe 10 minutes to get to us and it was hot and absolutely delicious. I came here to give them a glowing 5 star review. And my experience there, they truly deserve it. But, its so unfortunate to read about the owners views.

I had the three cheese bagel with cream cheese this morning... best bagel I’ve ever had! It was chewy on the outside and SO soft and moist on the inside. Definitely recommend!

Normally food is good. Got home only to find out my order got messed up. I ordered tuna o wheat toast but got chicken. Chicken was dry and hard, lettuce was not fresh. Very surprised and disappointed.

This was packed with a line out the door but they are so efficient and friendly! Also, excellent healthy options, egg whites, veggie burger, turkey sausage and burger! Also, they let me substitute sliced tomato for the side of potato and bagel! Amazing customer service. Also, the desserts and bagels looked amazing!!!!!!

Portions of meat seem to fluctuate (today it was non-existing) and same with the bagels (especially the Everything). When the place is good its good, when its not its not.If youre looking for consistency and quality control, probably not your place unless youre going to try it multiple times to get the full vibe. I do go here frequently because I like it, and because there is literally nothing near by for an equivalent breakfast option.

BUSINESS THAT DOES NOT ENFORCE FACE MASKWe normally love Bagels Plus but we we haven’t been there since the pandemic started. However, yesterday I went to quickly grab a bread and some bagles. I was super disappointed because face masks were not enforced here. Some customers didn’t wear masks, the lady on the register had a mask on but it was sitting on her chin and she only put it back on when I was standing in front of her. Also some bread where sitting in paper bags open for everyone to potentially grab, however some others were covered with plastic foil. I think we won’t go there anymore while the pandemic is still going on. It’s just sad that the owner doesn’t enforce the NC recommendations to help keep everyone safe!

Bagels are pretty good, unfortunately we were shorted on our order. We purchased 18 bagels but only received 13 and did not have time to go back and correct it.

Love this place! There was an Old man touching all of the bagels without gloves whilst the employees practiced common sense preparing food with gloves. Good amount of selection of dirty hand touched bagels though.

I provide reviews both good and bad to the community. I have posted a positive review previously for Bagels Plus. Today a Sunday morning, BP was packed more than usual. Our order was lost in the shuffle. We had to ask for our order as people who were behind us were being served. Our order was sitting in their queue. No one called us. Upon explaining no one called us, only a quick sorry was delivered with our now cold breakfast sandwiches. Quality of food and customer service are key for me. If the owner watches this forum you know you serve a predominantly Northeast crowd. You need to make sure you service is polite, fast and you take care of your customer if something goes wrong. This will not prevent me from going back. But if this happens again, the manager will be informed on the spot. BTW, the bagels are still very very good.

My family and I have been going here since they opened. They have Great food. All of their food is cooked fresh to order and they are Not skimpy with their portions. So simple put, you are guaranteed a fresh hot meal and you will not leave hungry. It is definitely worth indulging in.

You cant go wrong at Bagels Plus! The Reuben sandwiches are the best around, way better than any sandwich chain. Pro tip: Go for dinner and get bagels for the next morning. Dont forget a tub of one of their delicious cream cheeses; honey walnut and veggie are my favorites.

Weve been going to Bagels + for breakfast sandwiches, pastries and wraps a few times a month since they opened. Delicious. That said, I hadnt tried much else until recently. My son and I went for dinner between activities a few weeks ago and I ordered a Reuben. It was the best Ive had in years! (And I love them... I order them a lot!). My son got the pizza bagels. They were awesome! Then to top it off, I decided to try one of the cakes for a family birthday. Oh my! It was amazing! I wont get cakes anywhere else from now on. The prices were reasonable and the hours allowed me to get there after work, unlike many of the local bakeries that close at 6 or 6:30. We love Bagels Plus!

I bought a cake and it was fantastic.***ORIGINAL REVIEW***Though its got Bagels in the name, Id call it more of a restaurant or bakery, because bagels are only a small part of what they offer. Overall the food was great and Ill be back to visit this great local food nook.I had the napoleon for dessert today and it was a flaky pastry with Bavarian cream layers between the flaky crust, with icing on top. It was decadent. This followed the chicken Philly sub I ordered, and while the chicken was a little dry, the bread couldnt have been more perfect, and made up for the slightly dry chicken. Furthermore, it came with what I believe might be the best French fries in the Holly Springs area. They were certainly above par.The environment and ambiance kind of had a fast food or gas station feel, not really what I might call cozy and its located in an area that is fairly remote. Even though its really remote, its extremely limited in parking. During peak hours you might not be able to park. I do have to say that everything was very clean though.Overall its a great experience!

I wont lie, this place makes the closest thing to NY bagels Ive had in a long time. Sadly, the owners actions make it really hard to support this business in good conscience. For the good of his employees, I wish he would cede ownership to someone else. Until then, Ill be making my own bagels.
