Unfortunately, I cant give a half of a star. Go to BBB and read the reviews and yelp. I am not the only one that hates they dealt with this company. $500 to have a part of my window fixed. When you open the window it falls down. It doesnt fit. They sent 2 people out to look at it claiming I now needed $200 jambs. The window wasnt falling down before it was repaired. $500 and I have a piece of wood in the window to keep it from falling down.

First time using Glass Guru. I was very happy with the service. They were responsive and very professional. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

When they put new windows in, they damaged the window frames and the walls. We complained about it but they refused to fix the damages and said this is NORMAl sometimes happens when you replace windows.We are so disappointed.

Replaced shower door to resolve a water leak. On time, professional. Reasonable price fr service rendered. Please with quality of product and outcome.

Took in wood shelves to have glass shelves cut to match. Shelves were cut too long and do not fit in the cabinets. They will not fix as it falls within their tolerance. Want to charge again to have them cut to correct length. Poor communication, they dont answer, return calls, rarely in the office. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone!

From the beginning they were very nice and professional. Very quick to respond and get us a quote. We had to wait for our window glass to come in, but when it did they were quick to get it scheduled! Very prompt for our appointments as well. Would highly recommend them !!

I hired this company to give me an estimate on replacing three windows in my sons condo. Much to my surprise they sent me an estimate to repair the windows. I had no idea they could be repaired, they didnt open right, they sat uneven and the locking mechanisms were suspect at best. They were timely in their very reasonable estimate and this morning they fixed the windows and they now work perfect. They could have easily sold me three new windows! I am so pleased that I am now going to have them in to my home to give me an estimate on resealing several of my Anderson wood frame windows and repairing my sliding glass door. Again, I have been under the impression that I would need to replace some of my windows and my sliding glass door. I will keep you posted when they come in and repair my windows and door.

The service techs were awesome. Arrived on time, kept me up dated as they worked each window. Paid close attention to ensure my wood trim wasnt damaged.Knew how to work with my window frames. Some were difficult to removed and he used his expertise to slowly work the glass out. Only experience can make that happen.Will definitely use Glass Guru on my next window job. Saved me money by not having to completely replace the windows.Thank you for a job well done!!!!

We are a regular customer (golf balls ☹️) and Glass Guru was great. Specifically Tony. He had to deal with dogs, kids, weeds and me trying to work from home. Nice job!

The technicians were professional and courteous. I could not have asked for an easier process.

First of all, this company is very difficult to get a hold of. They use an answering service that I dont think is even local so if you miss their call and hit redial, all they do is take a message and you have to wait for someone to call you back (which is like two days later). Second, I waited almost two weeks for this company to come out and give an estimate. Multiple windows with broken seals, some rotting wood, some mechanical. Some within their scope and some not. This is a 7,000 sq. ft. house so there are a lot of windows. The salesguy looked around the first floor and then left...on his way out he said wed be better off calling the window manufacturer. No explanation as to what the problem was, what exactly it is they do and dont do, and no other information so that I could get someone better qualified. After reading some other negative reviews Im probably glad they didnt complete the estimate. Im not sure this is a legitimate company otherwise they would have expertise on repairing windows.

These people are awful. They came out to replace glass and then ended up breaking the entire window and are refusing to fix it. They have put my brother is worse place then he was before they arrived and then they won’t even return his deposit. So they have refused to even make right the damage they caused and they won’t even refund his money. Do not use these people!!!!

On July 29, 2020 a Glass Guru technician replace two upper glasses with broken seals on double hung windows. While working, the technician damaged one of the screens (poked a hole in and slit part of the screen) took a small chunk out of one of the window sills, and left behind one of his tools. I contacted the company shortly after he left when I discovered the damaged screen and the abandoned tool. I sent a picture of the screen and requested that they replace or repair it. They responded that they would get the technician back out to fix it. As of October 3, I have never heard from them again. I have paid to have the screen replaced and the sill repaired and painted. I did not want the sharp tool sitting around my house or garage so gave it to a neighbor. The Glass Guru is out of a tool and out of any future business from me.

Came out and gave me a quote. Nice man. Seem to care more about saving me with Jesus.Gave them deposit. Couldnt get receipt because he was unprepared and ipad wasnt charged. Didnt have a charger. After 2 weeks called left message, no response. Called again, nothing. Been a month ZERO communication.

Very responsive from quote to installation. Installer had to remove wood trim to install the window and I was concerned we’d have to have it replaced, painted, etc. Installer removed it, installed the window, replaced the trim and you’d never know work was done on the window. Estimator and installer were very nice, professional people. Thanks!

Customer Service is horrible. They come to take measurements so they can give you a quote but it takes multiple calls and after two weeks - they still can’t give you a quote. Every time you call they say “I can email the owner so the next time he is in he can review it to see when a quote will be done.” Stay away from this company. There are plenty of other glass companies you can provide better service.

If I could give negative stars, I would. DO NOT GIVE A DIME TO THIS COMPANY! Horrible customer service!! I had to miss work for my scheduled appointment and they called AN HOUR after my appointment to tell me it had to be rescheduled because the rain, but it had been raining all morning. I talked to the GM and said I wanted money taken off the final bill and he told me no.

The tech who came to my home looked at my windows and told me only one needed to be replaced. Then he showed me how to open my windows to wash them. He was back when he said he would be with the new window, which fit perfectly and looks great. Such professionalism and honesty is admirable.

Poor quality, awful service. Had a double pane window replaced in an existing wooden sash. The sash came back completely damaged and in horrible condition. Owner refused to refund the money which was only $93. Will never do business with them again and would strongly advise you to hire someone else for your glass needs. What good is a company if they cant/wont stand behind their product and service? Id give them 0 stars if possible.

I called to schedule an estimate for their proprietary system that fixes foggy windows and they came out and pulled a bait and switch quoting prices to replace the panes of glass instead of doing the treatment. I was not home so I called the next day and they said they have not had the kits since September 2019 so they cannot provide that service. I asked then why was that not stated to me when I initially called. They did not answer. I have attempted to call corporate with no response. This company is extremely dishonest and pulled a bait and switch with me. They are now saying my windows are not eligible which is fine but if I know they did not have the kits from the start I would have gone with a different company.

I had this company come out to take measurements for an estimate to replace glass on 4 windows at my investment property. The guys that came out said that they would contact me within 24 hours with an estimate and never contacted me. I placed a follow-up call to and was told by the lady who took my call that she’d have someone reach out to me. Needless to say, no one ever called me back. This was very unprofessional and a complete waste of my time.

Dont waste your time. Justin came out to my house and was very positive in person and offered a competitive quote in person to where I nearly put a deposit down there. Glad I didnt. Later in the day I get the official quote which was nearly DOUBLE what we had talked about. This new number out of the blue wasnt even close to competitive. This whole bait-and-switch wasted half a day off work.

Read BBB reviews, read Yelp, etc. Just call somebody else and save yourself some trouble. It starts at the top. The owner is incompetent and he keeps employees like Justin. Im new at this. I dont fell comfortable giving them 1 star, but I cant post with 0 stars.

I called to get an estimate. They advertise that there is no need for replacement. the technician gets to my house and tells me i need to replace the glass. he tells me that I will get the estimate over in a day or 2. I have not received the estimate yet or a phone call. Horrible customer service. No follow up!

I need them to come and do estimate. I was going to buy today and get it scheduled, but the salesman called and wanted to do a quote over the phone first.Just show you know I flip homes for a living. This is the first Time I have ever had issues with a company like this. Just want to say I would not recommend this company. Haven’t used them because of the sales issue. Ps the budget for the doors was $2500. So please jnderstand you lost money.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We had them quote out a trim job that we were considering and they gave us a price of $1000 and asked for a $500 deposit. They then came back and the bid changed to over $4000 so we decided not to do the work. We hounded them to get our deposit back and they have the audacity to take $130 out of the deposit for time spent. Time spent on what, quoting out a job? Thats your job and on your website and vehicles it says free quotes, guess that is not really true. If i could give them zero stars i would. Absolutely horrible company to work with.

The Glass Guru from Gahanna replaced 9 cloudy panes in 6 different windows throughout our house in 2015. All replaced panes are holding up well 3 years later. Our windows are wood Hurd windows custom stained to match the interior woodwork, so we didnt want replacement windows that wouldnt match nor the expense of custom-stained new windows. The Glass Guru met our expectations at a fraction of the cost of new windows with custom stain. We put 1/3 down and paid the balance when the job was complete. We will be contacting them shortly to replace the panes in a garage window. The negative reviews are worth reading but do not reflect our experience in 2015, and we are looking forward to working with them again.

We had a window that has condensation. We asked them if we should just replace the window and they said replacing the glass will resolve the problem. We had them replace the glass and the problem continued. Now they ignore our phone calls and dont return any of our multiple messages. Buyer beware take your money somewhere else to a competent company that actually cares about the customer.

Got what I wanted and quality was great but if you can, try to avoid the receptionist ask for the guy who actually cuts your glass I promise itll make your day easier
