We bought our entire kitchen appliances for our kitchen remodel. Crystal helped in decisions with timing of the shipments and storage. She took care of a recall and return with ease. She got into the details of our downdraft so that no mistakes were made for our installation. City Plumbing was careful with the delivery and there were no nicks or scratches. Overall, Crystal was calm, detailed, accommodating and helpful each step of the way with excellent follow up on rebates paperwork etc. Crystal & co, were a joy to work with! And we love our beautiful kitchen!

I recently purchased a washer and dryer from City Plumbing. The price was comparable to Lowe’s and Home Depot but I chose City Plumbing to support a local business. Unfortunately, that was a terrible choice. The washer arrived damaged. I immediately contacted City Plumbing and was told I would get a replacement. They did NOT communicate that if I used the washer I would not be eligible for a replacement. That information was communicated a week later! No discount was offered for the damaged machine. I was offered a replacement panel, that also arrived damaged. I do not recommend using City Plumbing for your appliance purchases as they do not back their products and the lack of customer service is unacceptable.Update: After speaking with Whirlpool, I was informed Home Depot and Lowe’s have different contracts with Whirlpool that allow for more generous return and repair policies. So, learn from my lesson and buy your appliances at a big box store... NOT LOCAL.

We recently built a new home in the Gainesville area and were fortunate to use City Plumbing for our plumbing and electrical fixtures. Patti West is absolutely amazing to work with, she went above and beyond with her knowledge, patience and kindness. We found everything that we wanted through City Plumbing, their inventory, prices and product lines are the best in the business. The selections and services cannot be beat.I recently received a call from City Plumbing in Gainesville with questions I had regarding my recently installed refrigerator. Alida, a member of the staff, was most helpful and reported my concern to a service rep and followed up with arrangements for him to come to my home.Michael arrived on time and determined the problem immediately. He went a step further and ordered a replacement for the faulty part — explaining that the part was under warranty. While he was here, I had a few questions concerning my other brand new appliances!Michael is the most knowledgeable service technician and most willing to be of service. He followed up a few days later to install the part!!

I was there waiting for about 15 mins and no one helped us or even said anything to us. We walked out. Lets just say say first bad impression and never coming back. If I could give you a zero I would definitely give you a zero.

Ordered some dryer vent online for my company. Parts didnt ship out until I bothered them about being charged for the parts and the invoice not being correct with what I originally was told I would pay for the parts. Then, another very small charge was added to the amount and my card was charged for that as well and was told it was because I bought it within the state and it was taxes. Now, I cant get an invoice for that small amount. I dont work or live locally from this company, so I cant say if it has good customer service, but the online side of things isnt that great. I will stick with a bigger company or someone else next time.

Bought a Scotsman ice machine from City Plumbing & Electric and it stopped working after only 3 weeks, Michael came promptly & found a bad control board & the compressor was bad so he got on the phone with Scotsman & explained the situation to them & was able to convince Scotsman to send me a new machine!Thanks Michael!I would highly recommend City Plumbing & Electric

We purchased $28,000 worth of kitchen appliances. The worst experiences. Our sales rep was Crystal. Double wall oven, did not work. still not working it was install in November. It is now February. $8k refrigerator came in panel damaged, twice, range hood, paid for new one, used one was shipped, new one arrived in February with missing parts again. under counter refrigerator back ordered 6 times just now received. Even if your contractor uses them, do not accept your appliance order from them. This supply house has no sense of urgency. No influence with the buyers. Still waiting for our kitchen to be finished. Even when we asked for City Plumbing to open the boxes so damaged items would not be sent to our house still damaged products sent to our home. The worst service and execution.

We were remodeling our master bath and were so pleased with the way Denise Williams, in the Blairsville store, guided and helped us. Denise was patient, answered emails promptly, and full of great ideas. We love the new look in our master bath, and we love Denise Williams for being such a pleasure to work with.

Very rude assistance obtaining needed supplies from the back. Pretty much unless you are a male contractor they wont help you. A female walking in on her own gets told I dont feel comfortable selling you this. That is exactly what I was told. I will NEVER do business here and suggest you dont either.

I ordered a custom shower pan for my handicap father and had to prepay the order in full. I was called when it arrived and told the man the project was on hold for the moment. He said no worries, it would be there when I was ready for it. When I went to pick it up, the nice young man helping me could not find it and said of course they would order another for me and he went in the back office to place the order. Then a manager, an old man with terrible teeth and inflamed gums came out and told me they threw it out and if I wanted another one I would have to pay for it a second time. I imagine they sold it and this old manager thinks it is just fine to steal from customers.

Michael Northcutt recently provided service for several issues I had with my Thermador appliances, which I ordered from City Plumbing during construction of my home in Sapphire, NC. After traveling a distance from the Gainesville area to reach my home, Michael was both personable and professional in repairing the problems I had. He took time to explain reasons for the problems, assisted me in locating warranty information for my oven, and contacted Thermador himself to order replacement racks. Michael is very knowledgeable regarding all makes of appliances and is an asset to the appliance service department of City Plumbing. A welcome change to prior experiences I have had!

The Lady at front, very bad custumer service,rude. she told me the sink I was picking up was ready around the loading area, but I stayed in show room looking around, because I needed some faucets for my personal house,maybe 5 minutes later she came and told me with attitude they are waiting for you around the loading area and when she was walking away she saidthey dont have all day

Called asking if they had a two stage gas regulator that my gas contractor was looking for local to fix my system. Guy told me he didnt know if they had it and didnt offer to find out. Very distant and acted like I was bothering him by calling. Sorry for the inconvenience. I guess Ill have to order it from Lowes.

Dont use Blairsville location. Sales Rep Denise never processed our order until we called which was 3 weeks later. We moved to Gainesville location only to be treated as if we were not patient people. So unhappy. We will only get the minimum for plumbing and take the lighting and appliances elsewhere. No one ever apologized for not placing our order and putting us 3 weeks behind. We were not given a choice by builder for plumbing or we would have not returned to different location. In the past, we built a home and used PDI and was very happy with customer service. I guess we have to lower our expectations for City Plumbing.
