Do a lot of business here. Normally very nice but the helmets were not priced correctly and they charged us $20 over the ticket price. Woman working in parts was EXTREMELY rude and admitted she hadn’t adjusted the price tags and told us to get over it. Only bought the helmet because we need it for a trip. They need to fix that woman’s attitude and work ethic apparently.

I took my cruiser in to replace both tires and they found I needed new rear brakes as well. They took care of me with no problem. Total professionalism from everyone I encountered in the service department. I assume they saw my retired military license plates and they thanked me for my service, I really appreciated that. Top notch operation and Ill make sure everyone from the American Legion Riders uses them whenever the opportunity arises. Keep up the great work, you have a customer for life and I will refer you to anyone that asks about motorcycle needs.

Applied online, drove to the dealership and 45 minutes later I was leaving on my bike.The last place I bought from took a minimum of two hours and they had my info for financing for a week.Big thanks to Ted in finance and the whole team at Gainesville Motorsports for making this the best buying experience Ive ever had.

These guys wer trying... I had a customer needing a ignition on a Kowasaki 800 motorcycle. Gainsville Motorsports said they could order it, coming out of Cali. 6 -7 days ok beings it was first time dealing with them had customer pre pay w/ card waited. Went their to pick up they had the horn side not ignition.big let down. Good thing we became friends, customer... or he might a thought we were incompetent. I dont understand i had specifically said a couple of times ignition. Other then that they are good. Clean show room. Curtiuos staff. Clean bathroom.

Parts department totally unknowledgeable and in helpful. I can order parts online, this is why local business is loosing to online I go into a store for assistance. The woman at the parts counter didn’t seem interested in being helpful at all. Shame too because while I was in there I saw a lot of stuff I want, guess I’ll get that online as well

Went here and spent $450 on fourwheeler tires and the service deck was only for themselves, they wouldn’t mount a tire on a already pulled rim and they closed at 6 it was 5:37 these people don’t want to work and are only to take your money . I Do not recommend

I was looking for a cash deal on a used trail bike and stumbled upon the Yamaha Wr250F online. Decided to call and check in on it and spoke with Cody about it over the phone. I live 1.5 hours away and wanted to make sure the bike would be available. So I decided to make the drive that day to come and look at it.Upon arrival and being greeted by everyone, I began looking over the bike and I noticed the carb was leaking a bit and front forks needed new seals. Other than that, the bike was excellent. They took it into the shop that day and fixed the seals and took care of the carb as well, no questions asked and free of charge!I never once felt pressured to buy and was even offered that I could come back to look at it once it was out of shop to decide if I still wanted it. Cody kept me informed the entire way through the process and was very upfront about everything. He had all the paperwork basically done upon arrival, and he even offered to deliver it!Long story short, I decided to buy that day and would come back to pick up once it was ready. I am very happy with my purchase and do not understand the negative reviews reflected on this dealership... It is a business after all, not a charity. And people take things way too personal now and turn into keyboard warriors if they don’t get their way...You have earned a valued customer after this purchase and I will be back once I’m in the market again.Thank you again to Cody, and the entire team at Gainesville for your service.

This was my first time at Gainesville Motorsports, and I must say I was very pleased with my experience. Tyler N. was the sales person that helped me throughout the whole process. He was very knowledgeable about all the machines I had questions with. Without Tylers help I probably wouldnt have made a purchase. From questions about maintaining to financing(Thanks to Mark as well) the team at Gainesville Motorsports was able to help me every step of the way. Even David from the parts department was able to help me find a good and safe fitting helmet. Thanks to Mark from financing as well. I purchased a new atv from here. Even with very good credit they couldnt go any less than 12 percent interest rate. I pay the same in interest each month as I do towards the atv. I wouldnt recommended going here.

Mark Bellows was very helpful an went out his way to answer all my questions. He did his best to get the price down for me excpecialy since I was paying cash! The owner or manager who he has to get approval from would not Budge at all which was very disappointing. So I called around and thir price for what I got was only 300 cheaper than other places and they had one on hand. So we went over the # agin and I went ahead an put $ down. I came back the following day to pick the new atv. I went in to take an do all necessary paperwork with Ted Cobb. As we were going through everything an I gave him the rest of what I owed I noticed the price had been changed from what I agreed an signed with Mark Bellows. Ted brought him back in and I showed the picture of original price agreed an that I signed. Mark went back to owner or manager to make shure they could still honor the original quote. The owner or manager would not do it. I was so upset that this is the way the owner or manager does business. I own my own company and when I give a price that is the price no mater if I bid the job wrong or priced my materials wrong. I will always do right by my customers even if it cost me a little less profit.!! With this said the owner or manager who was involved should not be working thir or treating customers that way.!!! So Ted Cobb made magic happen with the extended warranty pricing wich almost got me to the original quote Mark Bellows gave me. I still lost about 175 from original quote. So I really liked Ted Cob and Mark Bellows so I ate that $reluctantly. Plus I wated the Atv and went through all paperwork and just didnt want to walk away because owner or manager doesnt know how to treat thir customers. The owner or manager was going to let me walk away after all my cash was in thir hands!!🤬. Gainesville Motorsports should be thankful for Ted Cobb and Mark Bellows.!!! If those guys are working thir my next atv for my wife will be bought thir as well. Thanks Ted Cobb for making it happen and keeping me happy. As for the owner or manager who was involved you should be ashamed of yourself to let a cash customer walk out the door because you would not honor price agreed on when I even signed paperwork an put cash down-payment on. Although the lady receptionist was nice and so was the manager, I am not please with the salesman customer service. I went in last week to have a buyers order sent over to my fiance company. I called and check the status on it a few days later bc they never received it. I went in today to purchase the atv (eventhough the shipping fee is crazy and unrealistic due to the fact they already have the unit there!). Granted we were about $400 off on the deal, I was willing to pay and and make it happen. I waited for almost an hour to buy as my current salesman didnt show up and I didnt receive a follow up after I left . Basically I do not believe they wanted my business and thats totally fine as I will purchase else where.I guess they are doing so well in numbers that good customer service is not a priority 🙄.UPDATE: I received a call back from the manager Anthony. He was very apologetic and made everything right . I came back within 48 hrs and made a purchase on a brand new Honda Foreman. I sincerely would like to thank him for his customer service and help throughout my buying process. This guy change my whole thought process and saved me a trip for going to Tennessee. 😁.

Used the service dept and parts. I think it was Jeff in service, very nice. I had new tires put on my ride, only took a day. Went to parts and bought chain lubes that doesnt splatter everything, price was good, service is great. I recommend this bike dealer for your bike needs.

Update - 8/19/20. Since my original review I have used Gainesville Motorsports for service related to a lift kit installation on my 2020 Northstar Ultimate. Once again, Brandon Conley and Josh Scott have been outstanding to work with. Parts ordered the same day I inquired about the install and once delivered installation occurred within hours. All the while, I was routinely updated about the progress. Top notch customer service!Outstanding service and support with Gainesville Motorsports. Terrible experience. Almost ruined a lifelong dream of mine and gave me the run around and acted uninterested in me. Got declined a loan for a dirt cheap bike and I have good credit. I even offered to put a bigger down payment and was shrugged off. Went to another dealer they cleared me easily and bought a brand new cbr. Worst place to shop if youre not completely loaded. Almost turned me off the entire 2 wheel experience.

A real shop (not one of the chain stores) with great people. I called saying I was working on a deal at one of the chain stores but they did not have the bike there best price was more that the limit by credit union would do. Jon asked what the prices needed to be and he came back 13.47 more. No time wasted no BS. Did it all via the phone. The next day I picked up my new bike for the price the other dealer said was impossible and was impressed buy the service I got. Less than 5 minutes in the box to finish the paper work and I was off after a detailed review of the bike.

10-10-20Had a great experience with Gainesville Motorsports last month when Billy helped me, kindly and courteously.So, when I was shopping for a front tire for my Honda VTX 1300C, I called to see if they had one in stock -- at a good end-of-the-season price.The best part? They said, If you can come over right away, well install it while you wait. Bang! Put 400 miles on it in two days.Gotta love Michelin Commander II tires.Gotta love the service and good deals at Gainesville Motorsports.9-11-20Rode my 2007 Honda VTX 1300C to Gainesville Motorsports to offer a mechanic $5 to rent a tool so I could adjust the rear shocks myself.I figured that was fair. A man named Billy went digging to see if he had the correct wrench/spanner. He declined my $5.A few minutes later, he came back with three different types of tools to try on my 13-year-old bike. One worked.I returned them to Billy and again offered him $5.He genuinely refused the money.Pleasantly said something like, You dont have to pay me to do the right thing.Ready? He LIKES helping people.He likes what he does.Makes me believe theres hope for America.Makes me certain that I want Billy working on my bike.Thank you, Billy.Congratulations, Gainesville Motorsports for Billy and your crew.

Very polite. Charge way too much to change the tire $150 to labor to change a front tire I can have three sets of car tires installed for that much. Spoke with manager Jeff and he tried to justify the labor charge as manufacturer hours he feels this is a fair rate to change one tire labor only for the front of a naked bike Ill let you decide

They sent me an incorrect title when I paid my Husqvarna off. They refuse to help me fix the issue. I am now out of pocket for a title correction. Also broke my handlebar mount when I came in for service. Almost 11k spent and zero regard for customer satisfaction. Stay far away.

Asked for replace the wear ring, only need to use a impeller tool ($15) to get it out, put the new one in and screw the impeller back on (old one was completely gone, so they didnthad to remove it). Literally 5 minutes of labor and they asked for $100. Great way to keep customers away from your service department

I was an out of state purchaser of a used motorcycle. We had a little mix up with a small charge on my bill. But I didn’t notice it until I went to take care of the paperwork in my state almost a month later. But when I called the dealership my salesman Mark and the general manager quickly saw the issue and had a check sent out the next day.I’ve purchased motorcycles from a half dozen or so “power sports dealerships” and been inside of a dozen more. GMS is a top notch shop. The showrooms is not over crowded. But it is packed with variety. Enough of it to keep anyone’s eyes bouncing from the showroom to their imagination and back for hours. And the place is clean. From the bikes and sxs’s to the gear and even the restrooms, all squeaky clean. They were this clean pre-Covid!.The staff is great as well. You know you’re in GA from the warm welcomes and friendly acknowledgement by all GMS staff. Even the occasional technician that happen to be in front of the house will say hello in a way that doesn’t feel like anyone’s trying to sell you something.The gentleman who handles the finance paperwork was super pleasant and hooked me up with an extra tshirt for making the long trip to pick up the bike. All around Grade A job.

On sept 23rd Jason texted me after I showed interest in a Honda Rebel. After being coaxed to hurt my credit and apply for financing, I never heard back until I showed up in person. Didn’t get any details, on services that shouldn’t really take over 48 hours. I never heard back, at all on being accepted or denied until today when I got mail on my credit score from Gainesville motor sports. I should have trusted the low reviews on this page as a bad sign, I wanted to believe it was just bad apples. I’m sure I’ll get some response trying to manipulate, justify or straight up lie as that seems to be how they’ve replied to any other negative review, but the fact of the matter is they didn’t give me respect, wasted my time, penalized my credit for no services, and just poor business practice. There’s no trust.So what did I do, I took my money, and happily got myself a brand new Harley.There’s a reason they are a 4.0 as if this review, and anything below a 4.7 you just should steer clear of.

Not the motorcycle store they used to be. Took the harley in to have a rear tire put on Tuesday. Said it would be done Thursday. After calling they said Friday. Called Friday, said it would be done Saturday. Called Saturday, said it would be done by 12. Called at 12, said the tire hasnt even been delivered yet. Went down there, they put the tire on at 3:30. Pitiful place, really.

The people are nice but took my extremely clean 2016 FE 350S for valve check and when. I got it back it was obvious that it had been left outside in the rain for 3 weeks because it had water spots all over the black wheels, hubs, plastics, and everywhere. I take better care of my stuff than that and wasnt happy.

They take care of us every time we visit and always ensure we are finding what were looking for and has all of the information for everything were interested in. We came here to purchase a new four-wheeler and we love it! We had a small issue, the battery died within the first month and when bringing the battery back, they wanted the entire unit to make sure we werent doing something wrong. It wasnt easy to just bring it back, so we wasted extra money on an extended warranty only for it not to help. We ended up taking the battery to Walmart and they helped us find the right one for an unfortunate $80. Bit disappointed with that ordeal.

UPDATE: I spoke to the general manager, Brooks Swanson. He provided excellent customer service and said he would make the situation right--they basically price matched the quotes I received and refunded me accordingly. Ive had many bad customer service experiences over the years with various companies, and the one thing that will keep me with a company is them willing to make a situation right. No company is perfect, but as long as they right their wrongs, and make improvements in the future, then Im willing to give them another chance. Brooks immediately admitted they had room for improvement, offered to make the situation right, and spoke to me like a genuine person; that is the type of person I want to do business with. I believe that he will make the necessary improvements in customer service/communication and be up front with customers about pricing and price match to competitors.----We dropped our ATV off for a “full service” and wrongly assumed their prices would be comparable and reasonable. Since we bought the ATV from there, we naturally took it there for service. After they changed a spark plug, changed the fluids, and a filter, and checked the ATV, they told us we owed $625! Nearby competitors quoted us 275-350 for the same services. After speaking to the service manager, we were told nothing could be done to make the situation right.

Terrible service from oily Jason. Sat in the dealership 3 hours while we worked other deals. Triple the price of a normal warranty. Made up a ridiculous story of why it was never delivered. I have been doing business with these people since the early 80s and made my first purchase from them in 1984 when they were located on Atlanta highway. When I stopped by the other day interested in purchasing a Yamaha I was very put off and disappointed. Well I did get there just before they closed but was not expecting the treatment that I got when one of the salesmen that I have known for quite a while decided to tell me to come back tomorrow. I did not have time to go there tomorrow and felt very put out because he couldnt stand there for three more minutes to fill me in on the only new Yamaha they had and one that was used, well of course I had to ask questions about the both of them before I decided to purchase them.And for those of you who are looking to make any kind of purchase there Please be aware that they have obviously changed policies and you are not allowed to make any test drives at this establishment!They are actually expecting you to pay the full price then take it for a test drive and then simply return it as long as its within a few hours and they will credit you for your next purchase!

Bought 2019 Kawasaki Mule from Gainesville Motorsports in June.Our salesman Brandon, was very knowledgeable about every side by side in inventory, and explained the pros and cons of each model. He never pressured us to by the next higher priced model, or add accessories we didnt need. Brandon even described a variety of trails in North Georgia to try out.From choosing our side by side, to financing to adding a hitch receiver we were very satisfied.I cant comment on service yet but every local we speak to gives Gainesville Motorsports high marks.

Bought to skis from them, John Stover helped us out and answered all of our questions and concerns. He kept his word for after sale work that I wanted to be done on both skis. They even dropped off the skis on Lake Lanier for us, which we truly appreciated. Plenty of accessories in stock for our skis as well which was nice. Would recommend to anyone looking for some jetskis. They also had a good amount of motorcycle inventory and side by sides. Thanks again John and Gainesville Motorsports!

I called this store after locating it from CanAm site and noticing they had the exact UTV I wanted. I talked to Tyler Nilsen who was kind enough to take pictures and send me of the UTV I wanted. Knowing I was over a 2 hour drive away, he kept me posted to make sure my trip was worthy. Once we arrived he helped us right away and completed paperwork quickly. Tyler was so kind to help me load and strap down the unit before we left. I would give this whole experience a 10 star rating if it was available!

I walked in on Saturday to get information on a Hayabusa. Was in the store for about 15 minutes. No one ever acknowledged my presence. Every sales associate was either on their phone, computer or shooting the breeze with a buddy or another sales associate. One jumped up to go outside and take a personal call. The little lady in the receptionist booth never said a word.It’s amazing to me that when you walk onto a sales floor full of inventory that the sales associates don’t bother to greet or engage shoppers. At least say hello. Dang!I’ll buy a bike and I’ll pay cash for it but it won’t be from here. I’m not sure they are motivated enough to process the paperwork, much less help me make a buying decision.If I was the owner or manager, I’d call a sales meeting and set expectations for how to run a sales floor. Clearly the team there today either had too much Friday night or they are working for the bell. Either way, they showed no interest in helping me and I won’t be back.I hope you take this constructively as it’s meant to be. You have lots of really nice inventory but today you missed a possible sale.

I walk in, not one person approached me as they all had their headphones in and on their phones. I asked one of the guys about some wave runners options and he looked at me like i had 4 heads. Seems like they all hate their job.

Majorly overpriced! I went in to look at a Polaris Ranger and was blown away when they handed me a breakdown on the price. Junk fees on top of junk fees (dock fees, dealer fees, assembly fees, etc) added to the price of the machine. The price of the machine was also full MSRP. I got right back in the truck, drove to TN and saved $4,000 on the exact same machine at another dealer.

Just got off the phone with Jeff in service. We purchased a new jet ski on March 12th and have had to tow it 3 times. Jeff stated I was literally put in front of 200 other people that also are having problems with their new purchases, I should be glad with that response. Sounds like its a possibility GMS has made some defective sales. He made multiple unprofessional comments in a sarcastic format. Terrible service. When I told him his attitude could be better, he said I was being combative. After all the $1000s (3 razors, ranger, four wheeler, jet ski, all new)weve spent here, the jet ski will be our last.

Jon helped me with the purchase of my new motorcycle. He had excellent customer service skills and a wonderful bedside manner. He was very knowledgeable about all of the motorcycles that are sold there and helped me pick out the best bike for me. Gail from accessories was wonderful as well in helping me pick out my jacket and helmet. She also gave me confidence to ride when it came time to leave on my new Ninja 400!

The salesperson was very informative. However he was a salesperson so trying to get us to come in to make a purchase. We have purchased from them in the past. However we chose to purchase from someone else due to the price difference. I do not recommend their service department at all. Their prices seemed a lot higher. They also have a very long wait for service.

I came to Gainesville Motorsports with over $12,000 cash in the form of a cashiers check today but evidently they didn’t want the sale...or perhaps not from a woman. Brooks Swanson actually let this deal fall through over less than $300!! I’m stunned. I’d hoped this would be the first of several purchases from them as I would prefer to support the local Gainesville economy. This is the first time I’ve been turned down after presenting cash in hand. Still in disbelief. It I am glad I found several others that are lower and some same price and said gainsville Motorsports are bullies even per BBB complaints.

We came here today seriously looking to by a can am commander xt side by side. We walked around the lot for a good 30 minutes and were never assisted. We walked inside hoping somebody would assist us and were ignored in there as well. We saw multiple salesmen walking around not doing anything and sitting at their desks on their phones. We are extremely disappointed by this and will sadly not be coming back to spend our hard earned money here.

Ive purchased two new motorcycles from these guys in the last month. In my opinion, theyre the best shop to buy from in the greater Atlanta area. I dont like to mess around with motorcycle purchases. I know what bike I want, call the local dealers and ask their out the door price, then show up with a cashiers check in hand. These guys dont play any of the bullshit games other shops do. They dont try the what price have you gotten so far we can beat it game or well what do you want your monthly payment to be horseshit. They just gave me a price. Both times the price was great so I bought from them. I also like the low pressure sales environment in the showroom. I work on my own bikes so I cant comment on the service department, but the purchasing experience here is A+.
