The silver dust store has always accompanied other retail stores downtown when buying to adjust the arts and craft mode.

Amazing selection. Phenomenal pricing on beads inc heishi, genuine turquoise and coral, sterling findings for creators…plus a while gallery of fine native jewelry and beadwork, pottery and more. You can also select herbs and tobaccos and pipes. Very helpful people.

I used to love coming here for my supplies. My last two visits were not so pleasant. The white lady was rude, rushing me, told me she was getting inpatient. Talked down on the supplies I needed. The only reason I set foot in there was because the indigenous supply store I usually go to was closed and I needed supplies right away to finish a project I was working on. Oh yes.. my size 9/0 seed beads turned out to be different sizes. It’s safe to say, I won’t be stepping foot in that store again.

I used to love this place when I lived nearby. I visited the place almost weekly for my jewelry supplies, but being away for a couple years it seems like it has been going downhill. But thats just from my perspective.

I have a silver & turquoise bracelet that I love and have worn for 50 years (yes, Im old). A few months back, it broke, so was in need of repair. Not wanting to trust this job to just anyone, I asked around Gallup for suggestions. Several people recommended Silver Dust so thats where I took it. They repaired it quickly and expertly for a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend this shop.
