Normally, going to the Verizon store is not pleasant. This retailer however is fantastic! Ive had complex issues that theyve been able to sort out no questions asked. Small issues they take care of super fast. Really nice associates at this location. If all locations provided this level of service I wouldnt dread going to the Verizon store.

I purchased a new Nokia 5 g phone the end of May 2021. Since then I have spent 2.5 hrs on phone with Verizon customer service rep to fix problem i.e. not being able to make calls, not able to access voice mail & the inability to access incoming calls. 2 of 3 problems solved except ability to answer incoming calls. I have been a Verizon customer since 1995 & this is the worst phone I have had. Went to Verizon Galveston store this week & rep tried to fix incoming call problem,but I still cant answer incoming calls & phone cant accept software updates - error 402. Im not a happy camper.

I would not recommend anybody going to this version store. The guy named Garret has misinformed and put us on a contract that we never wanted. My wife and me are on a fixed income and I told him that we could afford 140.00. To this day our bill has been from 164.00 and now is 179.00. This is uncalled for a store to trick you in to something u do not want. Oh I forgot to say he told us that iPad was free. We Had to go and get customer service to help us take it back and stop charging us 54.00 more dollars. I will never use Galveston Verizon again. Let me say that Stanley from customer service was Great.

Rene, my customer service repr, was OUTSTANDING.... Knowledgeable, with excellent customer service. He knew exactly what the problem was and gave me suggestions as to how to remedy the problem. I then suggested (because I accidentally dropped my phone in my dogs water bowl) that replacing the phone would be the best option. He agreed. But this is where his sales skills and superb customer service were most apparent. He didnt try to oversell - rather simply suggested the latest Iphone 8 (that came out 1 1/2 years ago) and go from there. It took a while to transfer all the info from my original Iphone 8 to the new phone - he was patient and thorough and a pleasure w/ whom to work. The reason Im going into SO MUCH detail, is that I have been in direct sales for over 50 years. I know a good, quality sales person when I meet them. Rene was excellent and provided EXCELLENT customer service. I was at Galveston store 2 hours. And he truly proved that outstanding sales people that no matter what our product or service we sell... we are truly in the people business. No pics. Typical Verizon store. BUT the young lady who helped is a saint!! My hubs has a terrible tone of voice when things that shouldnt go wrong do...or things go wrong after hes screwed up somewhere. Meaning hes dropped his phone repeatedly and then it died. And he wants a new phone, no additional time on his contract and not a lot of money...he wants a cheap phone.Suffice to say that he has a new phone, no additional time on his contract and we paid out of pocket for a new phone.She did a PHENOMENAL job and should be rewarded just for having to deal with him. 🥴 Im a tired wife tonight... can you tell?

New phone buyer beware! The Verizon store in Galveston is not a corporate store. The store staff is very nice. I paid $400 in store that day. Then a month later was surprised to see my 1st bill was $399. I was extremely disappointed to find out that they charged me $40 for each phone (I had 3 - $120. total) to move data from old phone to new phone. The sales rep did not explain this extra fee and he told me due to covid he would email me my invoice. I received a copy of the verizon contract but no itemized receipt. I thought I was paying the activation fee but it was a set up fee of $40 per line. The rep did nothing to move the data on my sons phone and this fee states that it is non refundable. I wont recommend this store for that reason.

Madison helped me out yesterday, and it was truly a great experience. I used to work at a Verizon store in CT, so I know what its like to be in that environment. I called the store to ask if they had the phone I was looking for and what limitations I had by working with a non-corporate store. Madison educated me that there are tons of stores all over the country and that I had a few in my area back home in CT (Im on vacation), and the conveniences working with them were comparable, if not even more advantageous. She had everything prepared for me when I arrived so I could get in, upload my information, make my purchase, and get as good of a deal as possible. Additionally, she was just a pleasant and funny person to work with while I was there. The process is naturally not a quick one, so she made it enjoyable while I was there. I highly recommend this location and Madisons service.

We had Shawn Alexander help my family and myself this last visit to Cellular Sales here in Galveston!.... This isnt the first time weve had him assist us in line transferring, upgrading, and anything else our needs are at the time. HE ALWAYS GOES THE EXTRA MILE TO INTEND OUR 100% SATISFACTION DURING THAT PARTICULAR VISIT! This specific visit, our car was in the shop and transportation was very limited. He handled everything for us up to the actual purchasing and signing of our new iPhone 11s.
