Got an amp and sub install on our equinox, the crew at Hollywood sound did a great and clean job. I will definitely return as a customer, and refer anyone who needs any work done. Price was very fair as well

I had amps and speakers installed, was over charged, now my radio will not work properly and NAS the owner charged me to fix it when it didnt happen until after they messed with my cars..Now Im without music, and this will be my 4th time coming back for this issue, Im upset... highly.

Professional, courteous, had my speakers installed in about 45 minutes. Owner even drove another customer home so he didn’t have to call an Uber. Highly recommend these guys!

Well thought they did a good job at a fair price on my tahoe come to find out two weeks later my driver side speaker is not working again. That’s what I wanted corrected. I was assured that it would be working again and does not. Will be coming up this Monday definitely to see what’s going on. Highly doubt they’re gonna take the time to correct the issue especially cause I paid so much. guess I’ll see and change this review.

Well after dealing with no good radio installers for years I am so happy that I chose to come into Hollywood sound and let them get me all the way together, I came in with all sort of issues with my system from a previous installer kind of worried that wouldn’t be able to get it going again but low and behold they did in no time at all!!! They are knowledgeable, fair in pricing and efficient I can tell that they love what they do just because of the results they produce. I highly recommend these guys to anyone that want top of the line service.

They sell you sounds that will go out after a month so you will have to keep coming back…installers are great!!! Sounds are horrible

Ive been here 3 times and it was years between visits. Nassar is always upfront and honest with their pricing and timing. I believe his name is Mike who runs the installs and he is awesome. They must be doing something right if they are both still there and it seems they are always pretty busy. Dont go to a shop that isnt busy.One time I had them change out a radio I purchased elsewhere. Another time I had them install tint in my truck. This last time I had them remove a car alarm system. All fair pricing, done quickly, and the wiring looked really good. Ive done more than my fair share of stereo and light wiring and his methods look great.They have more staff now than I have ever seen and it looks like they are doing some good work, laid back but still getting the job done. I hope they get a tint guy on staff as they rely on a contract guy who seems to not be as timely as the regular staff.Finally, I know Covid may have slowed business but the interior of the office needs an update. Much of the stock is stacked unprofessionally and the display cases look a bit old and dirty. It just needs a few new things, paint, flooring, and some style. It would take about $500 for some bar stools, some craigslist stuff, some carpet squares, paint, elbow grease, and a couple of days and it would look more welcoming.Dont let the few bad reviews sway you and know that the work will get done right.

Honestly thought Nasser had one of the best sound shops just the way he treats his customers when there spending money, but if any issues go wrong like the camera and radio I had them install a week later in my Ford F-150 don’t even bother waisting gas going up there, spent over $800 for a camera that doesn’t work, and a pioneer radio that cuts in and out when i hit bumps. Been there 4 times now and I get the bring your truck back in the morning and when I did the two times he tried pulling it again. Sorry take my advice and go spend your money somewhere else. Nasser the owner is a scam but the installers are great, leaving this review on my sisters account. Very disappointed in the way he treated me mind you I was going on over 10 years doing buisness with him!Twin

Poor customer service went there to get all my windows tinted in my truck. Paid in full come back to pick my truck up and the front window was not done. He then continued to say that there was a miscommunication with him and the tint guy (completely understandable). I said OK when can we make a appointment? He told me the next day give him a call. Its been 2weeks Of me calling everyday to get in there to get the work I paid for. I ended up getting a refund for the difference in the front window and was only refunded 76$ as I called around to price check with most companies charge 110$-150$ for that window. At the end of the day he told me he will not have me come up there for one window so after shorting me money and wasting my time I decided to go some where else and pay the extra to get it done the right way.also the window tint is horribly placed and Contemplating getting it done all over again.i will never go there again and or refer any one to go.

After installing my amp, and capacitor, the subwoofer was NOT working. So I had the installer check for bad wires. Turned out my brand new subs from Bestbuy were blown. Not sure if Hollywood sound blew them or if bad from factory. So, they told me after visiting a few weeks ago that I now had a bad amplifier. I purchased a new amp, installed it and go figure STILL NO SUB working. Took sub to buddys car and turns out its a blown voice coil. So thanks to a port diagnostic I purchased something I did NOTA NEED to replace. Do NOT trust your vehicles to this place to do you right. Find another local shop to save you time and headaches.

Had my company work van broken into, thousands of dollars worth of tools stolen. Spent a week calling around trying to get alarm prices from different places, all the others wanted about 500.00,told them I have 3 trucks to do no discounts from any of them..My dealer told me to check out Hollywood auto sound in garden city, man oh man Im glad I did Nash beat all their prices by at least 200.00 per unit. Did 3 alarms and remote start units in 2 days, these vans have power windows and locks...Mike did a great job on the install..

I have been going to this place for about 9 years now anytime I needed an auto starter or radio installed. They always have the best prices and the fastest service. I recommend anyone to go here. I no longer live over this way but I still go to get work done by them.

Very good service. Went in to get a pricing on installations of a new sound system, not only a great price, but they were quick about it. I decided I want led to go through with it and they got me right in that day, didnt even have to wait 5 minutes. Took about an hour to get all the old stuff out & the new stuff in. The sound is great. Really good pricing as well.

Nass is great! Ive gone without a radio for MONTHS By chance I find HOLLYWOOD SOUND when I pulled into the lot they fixed my aux port and replaced my radio in 15 minutes. I Need my music! Thank you so much. You wont regret going to Hollywood sound.

Naas and his guys are by far the best to go to for any stereo and car accessory needs! Had some issues with the radio in my car. Got a new head unit and the rest of my system installed for a great price, and in a very timely matter! Going to return for tints and another speaker install soon!

My husband told the owner i wanted limo tint all the way around my truck paid almost $300 and he put lighter tint on the front because he said he thought it would look better not what i asked for not what i paid for ive been a loyal customer for years and i have referred even strangers to this place. you lost a good customer ill never refer someone again!!!!

I brought in my Harley Davidson. They put in 4 speakers, anew radio and an excellent sounding 4 channel Rockford Fosgate amp that was completely hidden.Two of the speakers were installed perfectly in the saddlebags. Overall I loved the job and it was extremely loud and clear. I would recommend this shop to everyone out there.

My son purchased a vehicle from here 40 days ago and it broke down last week. Now he is being told that he needs a engine. I contacted Nassar who is the owner and told him what was going on, he told me he couldnt help me and put me on hold. I thought he could be trusted because I had dealt with him on other occasions but this is by far the worse response I thought I could have recieved. Now im going to try and get a lawyer because it hasnt been 2 months. Nassar told us the car was in excellent condition, not that the engine was going out.

Nass and the guys are patient and friendly professionals who will work with your budget and you in order to make you a satisfied customer. For that I have to say they are good people and a good business, I would come back and recommend to others. I wouldve gave five stars but my first visit didnt go as well as planned but Nass was honest and accommodating and the workers Matt and Hollywood were very patient and friendly professionals which made it worth the trouble in the end.

Everyone is extremely knowledgeable on the products they sell. They are friendly and do an excellent job on installations, plus they will give you a bang for the buck price on their car stereo products!

Deserves no stars. Glued unit into my dash. Stripped my ignition wires. Horrible job all around. Went to take unit back and of course no help. No refunds. Not even advice on what i should do. Just made it my fault. I seriously regret setting foot inside this place. Pure rip off. Claims court next step.

I wouldnt even give one star ever rude customer service. First time I went in he put a ten year old radio for 150 in that would not turn off went back only to be changed another 100 for a not so radio. Never got a receipt and no thank you for coming in. I would never reference any one to the place.

Great service! Great people! I got my all my windows tinted and a Bluetooth put into my Linclon LS. I explained to them I had to be to work at a certain time and needed it done before then and they Assured me it would be done and it was, only took about an hour. They owner even took me home so I didnt have to sit up there to wait while they were working. That made me feel good cause I knew I was in good hands being taken care of, he told me to sit in the back seat because he was going to chauffeur me and came and got me when they were done. Im very happy with the customer service and also the quality of the work I asked for. Im even thinking about going back to them to get my sounds put in. Thank you Hollywood Sound!

1st experience was ok at best. The owners customer service is below acceptable. They schedule you for a appointment. And never get you in on time. They do not warranty their work. Once they have your money. They could care less about you. Their technicians are below par. One of them told me that I had to show them where the blown fuse was. He claims to have 18 years of experience. This place should not even be in business. They do not care about the customer at all. Only care about getting you in the door and back out of the door. One customer had sounds installed while I was there. As soon as he pulled out of the service bay. His entire system died. Amazing, same tech that didnt know where my blown fuse was. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone. Stay away from Hollywood Sound. They treat you like crap. And only care about your money. They do not warranty their work. Find some place else. Pay a little bit more and get quality workmanship. STAY AWAY FROM HOLLYWOOD SOUND.

Came in to have some tint installed on my car. Appointment was at 3:30 i arrived at 3. Tint is about a 2 hour job so i waited until about 4 and the tint guy had still not shown up. I wasnt about to sit around forever so i called a buddy to pick me up. 5 rolls around and the tint guy had still not shown up but luckily my buddy did. So the guy at the counter said it would still be done by 6. So at 6 i started heading back. I showed up at 6 and had to wait another hour for the guy to finish. Ridiculous that his worker cannot show up in a timely manner, got no compensation for waiting forever and no apology for him being so late. Another thing that pissed me off that i noticed after i left is that the tint guys muddy boot prints were all over my trim and seats. If youre going to be late at least clean up your own mess. Give me a good review. Wish i could, sorry bud. Oh, and i told him to run it as credit, so what does he do? Runs it as debit. What do you not undersrand? I only keep spending money on my checking, thankfully i had overdraft protection.

Plus pixI bought a vehicle from this guy at his store and part of the deal was for him to install a one mile range Excalibur alarm/remote starter on my vehicle for 200 bucks. We agreed on it and he said to bring it in on saturday at 9am. I brought it in and he was somewhere picking up another used vehicle. The installer there said they sell those for about 400 bucks and i told him im supposed to get it for 200 installed and all because its apart of the deal of buying the vehicle. The owner finally shows up late and says he didnt agree to give me the 1 mile range unit when thats the only unit ive been talking about because i have the exact same one on my 2016 300. And said why would he do that? Wasnt even man enough to look me in my face while he told me that bold face lie. Even though he said no to installing the mile range for 200 i walked out because he is not a man of his word. Id rather spend my money elsewhere. I dont care about the price but we both agreed on it. After i walked out he walked out behind me and said the only deal he could give me is the 1500 ft range for 200 And the normal price was 259.. We had a deal and you broke it. He seemed pressed to get my buisness back but i lt was too late. Then says you might ge a better deal but the other locations are ghetto. Lol the only thing not ghetto about this store front is the location. Dusty/dirty.. Also he sells used vehicles at this location. I guess hes a dealer because he also messed up on our plate on our truck and we had to pay him a extra 35 bucks because he messed something up.. All around a no go for this place owner is full of sh××... Owner Please dont respond either. U kno ur full of sh××!!!UpdateSo after 3 months of purchasing a vehicle from this guy and posting this honest review i come to find out the owner has been trying to hunt me down to harass me on social media. It is not normal to have this many reviews. My experience: This is a clown operation. So many reasons. If after you read this, and you still go here, be sure to GET IT IN WRITING. 1. Matt is slick. He said they have decades of experience and he would install, but instead another very inexperienced guy did the work and did not have a clue about the system when I asked him questions. 2. Another bait and switch. Nass promised they would install a specific system we agreed upon but installed another probably because of overstock or cheaper system. No reason given why. 3. They promised me a hood switch and never did install it later claiming they always break. 4. Notice a pattern in the negative reviews. They do not keep promises about time to install. I lost hours of my life waiting. Just as the reviews wrote below. Notice how he replied to a review below after a customer had to try three times for service...He replied to blame the customer for not calling allegedly. Who would you believe? 5. There is no easy recourse but court or the BBB which really does not exist to protect customers but to promote businesses, since there is no way to contact headquarters if there is one. Try googling it. You may find a Hollywood Sound in Florida but that is not the same company. There are more reasons than what I write here, but that is plenty for you to consider. Im not sure of better shops, but I should have called around more and paid more. System still does not work as it should. Regretting going to this place. I hope that helps you.

This place is TERRIBLE!!! i bought my car in 2016 and took it here to have my system installed. From the day they installed it i was having problems with it. I couldnt listen to the radio if my car was off. the wires they used to connect everything were cheap and terrible quality. and under my hood they just had the connector lose and rolling around across my battery and engine until i secured it myself! I could hear static in my music. it was just a horrible sound to the point where my radio fried completely and stopped working. i took it back to the place to have them look at it and they tried to charge me $50 just to tell me i needed a new radio! mind you i was told i would have a lifetime warranty..I didnt have a radio for over a year because i did not wanna take my car back to this place to have them fix it. I finally got a new radio and guess what my system started doing like heartbeat like sounds and not working at all! try listening to music with no bass. thats what was happening to me. I took my car to MOTORCITY TUNES and they fixed everything! they stripped everything and completely redid my install for less than what i paid Hollywood to do in the first place!. DO NOT GO TO HOLLYWOOD SOUNDS! BECAUSE YOU SOUNDS WILL SOUND LIKE TRASH!!!!!

I have a 2006 Range Rover HSE. Everyone said that you couldn’t add a remote starter and alarm. Not only did Hollywood Sounds add the aftermarket two way alarm and remote starter, but they also installed a double din Pioneer radio. So if you need the impossible done go to Hollywood Sounds!!!!

Terrible service. Went on a Saturday to have a navi system put in, he told come back on Tuesday at 2pm.. I come Tuesday at 2 and he tells me come back at 4. I come back at 4 and he tells me to come back tomorrow. Never again will I step foot in that place .
