Nice little Hannaford. Decent selection, market prices. Clean, and clean bathroom. Crowded time of day I waited 4 minutes in the self check aisle. Only reason its 4 star is its small

This is the most awesome supermarket the people are incredible you need something theyll walk you up and down those aisles till you find it. Their produce is top rate no wimpy broccoli here. Everything is crisp and fresh .their meat department is extensive. whatever you want this store has it. Check it out they have stores everywhere all over . these people really care about groceries about keeping produce immaculate fresh with a huge variety. But most of all they care about their customers and will go to Great Lengths to meet their needs.

Hannaford is one of the best supermarkets I have ever shopped at. They have great customer service and every day low prices.

Customer service is great in all the departments except by some of the store managers . I had told one of the managers what a wonderful job a employee had done for me and the manager said he would make sure that he would mention it and praise her but when I went back a couple of weeks later I asked the girl if she heard anything from management because I had put in a good word in for her she told me no nobody ever said anything to her . When I heard that I was very disappointed so what good is it when management walks around the store and asks you if everything is fine if they don’t even do what they say they would do . What example do they set for the other employees ???? I’m just glad that the other staff is better then that .

Always friendly people and its amazing what they cram in that tiny store. Also how fast you can get in and out of that store!!! 😊

Great clean store helpful employees and quick check out service

Some of the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. There is even one employee that cashed me out once and they never said one word to me the entire transaction.

Some aisles are slightly smaller than larger Hannafords but its well stocked & clean public restrooms

Great selections, food is fresh and a great bakery section.

I think I was at register 8 less than an hour ago. The cashier was friendly, and apparently has a very bubbly personality. If I see her there again I will definately go thru her register. Whoever you are, thank you for being very, very upbeat

Best store around for produce. I have shopped around for years, and always come back to Hannaford. Their produce last long before it begins to degrade. They have most items I am looking for, especially in the deli. They also have a great butchery. They offer many different services and cuts of meats. I would say If you need a great grocery store, Hannaford is it.

Former employee of hannaford brothers..so I always prefer shopping at their turnpike Augusta store..as it has a larger variety of produce meat and a great deli..today I was in Gardiner and found all the things I needed. Clean stores and restrooms...as I waited for the taxi..I took advantage of the smokers area..much appreciated by us smokers..thank you

Facemask policy not even remotely being enforced. About 1/3 of the customers were not wearing masks. I feel sorry for any high-risk population that relies on this hannafords and doesnt have a safe atmosphere to get food. Definitely not coming back here during the pandemic....(All staff were wearing masks and super friendly though)

What youd expect from a supermarket. Decent selection of produce, bakery, deli, etc. Pharmacy. Rarely a wait for service. They handled covid responsibly for the most part..5/5 would consume again

This store is unique to the North East region and chances are that outside this region, no one has ever heard of it. Produce had lots of organic choices and a variety of meats and gourmet cheeses. They sell liquor inside the store which is a first time for me. Deli looked clean and well staffed. Wines could use a more variety. Would love to see more of local produce and Maine lobsters.

How difficult is it to place cold items in the insulated tote and dry goods in a regular one?

Great place for some good deals on groceries. Make sure to go early in the morning so that the produce will be fresh. Also, sometimes the meat deals are a little over priced.

Not very crowded at all. Got in and out very quickly.

Prices good clean environment

Hannaford for me is a little confusing but ill admit thats only because my wife is my navigator and when shes not with me im lost. I usually have to ask an associate where things are but they are happy to help. The have long checkout lines but man they are quick.

Good deals and they have a sushi chef there almost everyday to the sushi is fresh!

They have not had gluten-free taco seasoning for a long time. Edit today, Jan 12, 2021. It seems to be now all the Hannafords are getting the food and free taco seasoning mix, but sporadically. We buy them every time we see them and now we have about 10. LOL

Neighborhood grocer, I sometimes go 3 times a week. Rarely is it not busy. Still, always stocked, organized, fresh produce, and clean. Never takes to long to check out which is a huge plus.

Got some of best bakery items and cheese

I tried to purchase 2 reusable bags that were clearly marked 2 for 1.00. They came up on the cashier terminal as $2.50. The store refused to honor the marked price. I then asked the cashier to get me 10 megabucks #s for tonights drawing and she tried to give me 1 # for 10 drawings instead of 10 #s. This was the Gardiner store. Wont be going back there anymore.

Well lit, well stocked, people are extremely friendly, all in all was a pleasureable trip, definitely would come back soon!

It was ok,The workers are very nice and helpful but I did not feel safe because about half the other shoppers were not wearing masks and I think they should not be let into the store without it also very rude shoppers that can not follow the one way aisles and are going the wrong way then get mad at you when you are in the way.

No paper towels, or basket coffee filters...that negative out of the way, I chose Hannaford over IGA (closer to home) because it was where my family shops.I needed the rest room...but way at the other end of the store. I needed everything, but it was strange going aile by aile in reverse order.The selection was very good, compared to the Acme I visit where they might be out of what I am looking for because of shelf space.Hannaford has what I need...almost.But I cut them some covid19 slack.It was clean and orderly. Shelves were neat, and things were placed so you could read the labels.They have a traffic cop employee, guiding you to a free checkout line.They have hand sanitizer avaiable.They have a mask rule, but a few recacitrants got in without one.Aside from the current situation, I found myself happy with my visit.

I wish zero or negative stars were possible, and I definitely am switching the store I shop at to IGA or Walmart. Ive previously worked here, and given them chances by making them my go to grocery store, but frankly, the front end always takes forever to check me out, everyone has noticable, rude, attitudes and Ive never had a positive, satisfied experience with the over all vibe the store gives off because of it employees. Never once have I made it out of there, even when just getting my WIC, in under an hour because of how long it takes to check out and wait for all the employees to miraculously sync up and make some sort of sense out of scanning 3 simple items. And never once have I gotten a genuine feeling of community there that makes me want to return just because I feel like like Im a valued customer.

Fresh ripe produce; excellent meat cuts; a clean, inviting and kid friendly shopping experience. The check out clerks are typically pleasant and floor associates are helpful. Availability of common store brand center store products has been an issue over the past few months and maneuvering through the store at high traffic times around mid isle displays is a challenge. Otherwise a 👍 shopping experience.

This store has been newly renovated and is well lit and clean. They have a good selection. However, the aisles are narrow and have displays along the edges so it is difficult to get through. Every conceivable open spot has a display in it.The staff is friendly and competent.

Friendly people with fair prices, and good sales. Great selection of wine and beer, along with liquor. Excellent produce, meat and bakery departments. Wal-Mart maybe cheap in price on most stuff, but Hannaford sales are very good. You will lose money if dont include Hannaford in your grocery shopping stops.

Since when does can goods and glass jars go into the same bag? Also when does ANYTHING go on top of bread unless its more bread? My parents are on a very tight budget as my mom is fighting cancer! When we buy food we would obviously like it in the condition we grabbed it out of isles. You cant always watch what your naggers are doing but maybe you guys could teach them to do it properly please.

Fantastic experience. One of our last visits we were met in an aisle by an associate named.Joyce. it was the place.where you could by special homemade noodles & she was just so helpful we couldnt believe it. We just couldnt believe how much time she took trying to make sure we got what we wanted or needed. Next time I go in I want to make a point of letting management know how we felt. Just didnt have time that day. Good job Joyce.

Items were easy to find. A good supply of fruits and vegetables was available. The atmosphere was buzzing with activity as people shopped. I purchased several fruits and fresh vegetables.

The deli is very helpful will slice deli meats just the way I want it. I love it when roast beef is on sale especially when it is rare!! The store all over is neat and clean and there is always someone there that you can ask a question of and get an actual answer!

Fairly empty shelves. Still no tp avail.I only need 1 pkg lolI got most of food I wanted.Good thing Im not a neat eater. Wasnt much thete.On the other hand. Shoppers were all pleasent and checkers working 150 mph.

Great selection, friendly staff. Produce is always good quality. The only place to stock fresh cat fish. Local seafood, meat, and local products at great prices. If you ever get bad stuff they refund double and give yiu product. Cant ask for a better store. Also love the To Go. Saves time and always get great stuff.

A great place to get your groceries and a bit more. The shelves are usually well stocked and the produce and meats are fresh. They also have a bigger parking area then other grocery stores.

Everyone was very courteous.

I was treated dismissively by the person at the customer service counter. She was spending more time chatting with co workers then checking out my purchase. As a result she charged me twice or an item that I was purchasing. She was rude when I asked her a simple question and she barely paid attention to me requests to begin with. Poor, poor service. How did that person get to be an assistant manager.

This is a very well stocked and supplied grocery store. The staff is helpful and super friendly so if u cant find it just ask. Good selection of fruit and produce,meats and seafoods. Most nights open until 1000 which is another bonus for us night owls.
