Ordered 18 yards of loam from them. They said they would wait until Monday for better weather. My wife took Monday off to make sure they dumped it in the right part of the driveway. No one came to drop off. No answer when we tried calling. They had a text # that my wife texted and they said the driver made all the deliveries for the day but he would check into it. He never got back to us. The next day when we canceled the order he said it’s been to wet for loam delivery. It hadn’t rained in three days and no one bothered to call and let us know they weren’t delivering. Is it to wet to use the phone. I’ve ordered a ton of stuff from them in the past and have had to many issues now. Talking my business elsewhere.

Exceptional high end quality work! Everyone we encountered was professional, courteous and went out of their way to make things perfect for us. A few things came up that needed clarification. These were dealt with quickly, easily and graciously. We now have a serene sanctuary that exceeded our expectations. The men who worked on creating our garden oasis were truly highly skilled artists at their craft. And they were a delight have working on this creation. Thank you to the great team at Wingate who made this stunning garden possible! Your efforts were outstanding (especially the water fall feature -special thanks to Mark and Bubba for that!) and truly appreciated by us!

Wingate installed a cobblestone walkway between my house and garage. Their crew did excellent work, the job was done in an appropriate amount of time and it turned out great. Thanks.

Very unprofessional business. Never available to answer the phone, and forgot many items on multiple occasions.

Around this time last year, We had hired Wingate to add pavers around our new inground pool and add loam and grass up the back yard. I can tell you, I wish we never hired them. After the pavers were installed, we noticed some pavers started to sink and the sealant job was super patchy. They addressed this by taking 3 days to power wash the pavers with some chemicals. No regard for the pool because all of the chemicals and polymer sand in the cracks of the pavers went into our pool and some of it went through our infiltration system. We had to clean the pool a few times to take out the sand that went to the bottom of the pool and the yellowish stain on the liner from he chemicals. We were constantly being told that they, Will take care of it but every time they did, it got worse and they made us feel we were in the wrong. Let me tell you, we have had work done by many different companies, and this company takes the cake. We understand things happen and we were totally understanding but very frustrated with everything. The pavers are now trash and they have no sand between the cracks and they still sink in some spots. The loam, we paid 38 dollars a yard and we couldnt believe how full of glass and trash it was loaded with. We were/are concerned of someone getting they foot sliced like what happened to my husband. They refused to address that issue. We finally decided we were going to talk to the owner, Joe. He came by agreed it all (except the loam) needed to be addressed. He recommended new pavers. We decided well, this owner cares about this company, maybe he will make sure we get everything professionally done. Nope, we responded to the email and didnt hear from him. After a month, with no response, I emailed them and told them I contacted the attorney generals office, which I did. With COVID issues we are still awaiting them to help us remedy this. Our backyard is full of pigweeds now and if you live in the Randolph area, you have probably seen how they left us, but they made sure they ran with almost $5,500 of our dollars. Now we have a horrible cheap paver job and pigweeds and out just about 6 grand.I was going to just move on but as a consumer I had to write this review, I dont want anyone to go through what we went through with them. Please do your research and read the reviews left here... In my opinion, this company is no good, low down, and make you as the consumer feel guilty. You dont need that stress and neither did we. I will post pictures when I have time. This is only a little bit of what we went though. I would need a book deal to explain everything (A little humor for such a horrible experience). Please look around dont take that chance. I have to save up now and will probably take me a couple of years to try again to make my backyard at least 1/2 way decent. PLEASE BEWARE. i wish someone warned us. :(

Just showed up and walked around picking out plants, get to the door and they’re closed...There were pickup trucks in the parking lot and one even drove by me but no one said anything...If you’re going to be closed during a normal weekday, maybe don’t have your big front gates open. Not impressed.

Positive experience from start to finish! Wingate designed and planted a lovely garden with thirty shrubs and thirty perennials at our lakeside cottage. Project Manager Tim and Designer Angie took all of our wishes and the propertys characteristics (steep slopes and partial shade) into consideration and gave us a garden that will provide blooms spring through fall. The color palette, foliage shapes and textures, plant size, and groupings all work together to make it just beautiful! Every aspect of this project was done professionally and in a timely manner. We hope to have Wingate do more plantings in the future.

After a rocky start due to communication glitches, Joe and his crew really came through and did a fabulous job beautifying our yard. The guys were eager to do what was asked and offered great suggestions during the process. Glad we chose Wingate Landscaping and will do so again when the occasion arises.

Joe - ownerMark, shorty - operations managerIts a simple fact of 8th grade math !Shorty knows the bucket is 3/4 yard or 6/8 ydWe ordered 4/8 yd and and were shorted two days running, for the last 20 years, shorty has delivered 3/8 yd ..... shorting every customer 1/8 ydWhen confronted, shorty only reverts to intimidating, finger pointing and blaming women and the unexperiencedJoe was unresponsive to the facts of the complaint. . 1/2 of 3/4 is not 1/2 yard !This isnt a frank Wingate company and lacks the ethics that Frank lived by

Very disappointed with this company. It took over a month to complete a five day job and my mom was overcharged for services and materials. Poor communication throughout. I reached out to the owner twice but I guess since the bill was paid, they had no reason to respond. Please use caution.
