My wife and I have been using this Rad Air location to service our vehicles for about 3 years now since we moved to Garfield Heights. Eric always gets us in fast, and he always provides fantastic customer service. His team is also always very nice when/if we have to speak directly with any of them as well. Eric and his team fully inspect our vehicles when we take them for seasonal maintenance and advise us on any necessary repairs that we may not have been aware of. We had to have some labor-intensive work done on our vehicles such as wheel bearing replacement/all associated work including alignment on one, exhaust replacement on older of the two vehicles, and replacement of rear brakes on both cars. Even had a new rear-view mirror installed next-day that needed to be ordered. We’ve always been very pleased with the results of their work thus far, and I’m confident that will continue. Highly recommend this business establishment for any/all of your auto care needs!

This is definitely going to be the place where we take our company car for care! & I do mean care. 1st of all, they fit me in while they were really busy. Then they were honest about what work was needed for our old vehicle to be safe. & their price was fair. Also, everyone I interacted with was nice and helpful.

Rad Air Garfield, Eric and the team are fantastic! The Ford Dealer made me wait 4 days to just get a diagnosis. Then the Ford dealer said the compressor was on back order for 6 to 7 weeks. I called Eric and he said if I dropped off the car at 8am, they could replace the compressor by the end of the day. They fixed it the next day just as they said. 7 weeks for the dealer and only one day for Rad Air! Oh, and warranty was better than the dealer and the final cost was $150 less too! Im a very satisfied customer. Thanks Guys.

Had never used Rad-Air before. Daughters car would not start and had it towed to their Turney Rd location. Eric was great to deal with from the very beginning. He put me at ease, checked the car out when he said they would, and called me timely with a diagnosis. Eric patiently answered all my questions and got the car back on the road very timely. It has only been a day since service performed but have not heard from my daughter with any issues. I would definitely recommend their service and will use them again if I my daughter has any other issues with the car. What really caught my attention was the way Eric handled a new customer. He really made me feel like I was getting an honest assessment of the problem and he was very knowledgeable.

I went to RADAir to have tests ran on my red Chrysler van to see what was wrong. My car suddenly felt like it wanted to shut down. I managed to drive it into the parking lot and from there customer service was well. Not too long after, I was told I had injection issues and was given a quote. I qualified for snap, was given a beautiful loaner vehicle, and confidently drove off to work. Days later I came to pick up my vehicle, and it seemed as if something was wrong with it. It rumbled a lot and had some gray smoke coming out the exhaust. I asked if this was normal, and I was assured this was ok. I drove my vehicle home and minutes later received a call asking if I still had the keys to the loaner vehicle. I hadn’t yet shut my vehicle off and headed back to RADAir to return the loaner keys. I left to head back home once again, and this time I parked my car, and shut it off. I took a nap til it was time for work,came outside, my car wouldn’t start up. I called RADAir to tell them what was happening, and the kind manager sent a nice gentleman out to my location to try and assist. After a few bangings on the starter, it was confirmed my starter was blown somehow. The manager kindly had the mechanic bring me back to the shop, offered me the same beautiful loaner vehicle, and had my vehicle towed back to the shop. 10-29-2021 it was confirmed that it was in fact my starter, it was then reconfirmed on 11-1-2021, and by the morning of 11-2-2021 I was back in my red Chrysler van. In conclusion, Sofar, my vehicle is doing well, and service was so good I was happy to share the entire experience. I had a gas leak in my fuel line and they got me in quickly. Eric was great about keeping me informed about the repair and when it would be done. They did a great job and their customer service was fantastic. I would definitely recommend them!

I do not trust people with my cars. Im a part time mechanic and have seen many, many horrors. Unfortunately, theres just some things I will never be able to do myself. In those situations, I take the vehicle I am working on to a shop. I have tried a few in my area in an attempt to find a good shop that didnt ignore my requests or treat me poorly, and Rad Air was phenomenal. Eric told hed have it done same day, even though we talked about how it was going to be more work than a normal alignment due to part of the subframe bending during shipment, but he delivered.He stuck to his promise and kept me updated the whole time. I will almost certainly be back to Rad Air for future work. Its nice to have a reliable, trusted mechanic nearby.

Took my car in today to get my camshaft positing sensor, and a code that was reading cylinder 6 is misfiring fixed. Went to pick my car up and I couldnt even push my breaks down to stop my car and my engine light started blinking as well as my ETC light. I couldnt even drive it off the lot. Had to leave it there. Unfortunately I wasnt able to get any help do to the fact that the shop had closed and there was only one guy there that had no clue as to what was wrong with my car. So I had to leave my car up there until Monday. I can tell they didnt even drive it to make sure everything was good because I pulled it out of the garage! If they had done that they would have seen immediately that something wasnt right. This is a very unfortunate experience.

Went to Rad Air for the first time, unaware of the many services they provided.Eric provided me with valuable information regarding my failed air conditioning system and what it would take to get back to top performance. Feeling comfortable with his remarks, Was convinced Rad Air had the professionalism I needed for my classic Box Chevy.Additional items of interest was brought to my attention, that I feel comfortable trusting him to do in the near future.

Service completed in a timely fashion and even provided a loaner vehicle at no cost!!Water pump, tie rod, and oil pan gasket removed and replaced; lube, oil filter, alignment done and cooling system, engine, radiator and heater serviced. Feel confident and relieved!

Amazing people as soon as you walk in the door as you describe what’s wrong with the car you might be right but he was able to tell me it was something else before even looking at it and he was right!.. the knowledge that they have is amazing very professional & they fix it right the 1st time no complaints price might be a lil to high but he used a coupon without telling me to save a few bucks that was another great thing I recommend this place always 10 starts for me I’ll definitely be back Great work I feel safe with my car when I leave!!!

Got a second quote, 1100.00 more for a water pump because its under the motor on the Ford Taurus. They wanted 2900+ I got it done for 15. *UPDATE* Thank you for the honest response, I understand the warranty service, but giving the customer both options would of gave me a choice on the extra warraties that just wasnt in my budget at the time, or it couldve helped me understand to prioritize it, in my budget. Thats what makes the customer service better, because you gave me great customer service,got me straight in and called not to long after. I appreciate that.

We had high hopes for good things when we explained the crazy estimate we got for a wiring repair from our dealer & Eric said something along the lines of Please bring that in - I really need to see that His team ended up solving the problem for a few hundred dollars rather than the few thousand dollars that the dealer wanted to charge. Eric and the team took the time to properly analyze what happened. Analysis was way more reasonable than the dealership. $50 to run a test for 1234yf system. Dealership wanted $200. The newer refrigerant is NOT cheap folks. Expect if you have 1234yf refrigerant to pay more everywhere. Eric kept to his word and his time frame. The condenser he supplies as a replacement is a LIFETIME warrantee. He even saved the old part to show me how corroded it was after just that short amount of time. Crazy how terrible manufacturer parts can be. While it wasn’t the cheapest repair, it was done right, it was done quickly and the AC has been restored 100% and I can enjoy driving around on these muggy Cleveland days. I HIGHLY recommend you go here if you’re having issues…

They are overpriced. I think because I’m a woman they thought they could up charge me for services. Luckily I did my shopping around, and everyone else was way cheaper. I will never go back here, they tried to charge me $1500 for a new engine, but someone else found me one at $400 with 30,000 less miles than the engine Eric quoted me on.

Ive had my car serviced a little over a week now and as of date no issues. Car is running smoothly. I was in need of a mechanic for a very long time. I received a flyer in the mail for Rad Air. Called and made an appointment for my Honda civic and got in quickly. All the work I needed was done that day. They did an excellent job of communicating the issues the car had. I had gotten a flat. It was time to get new tires anyway. They ordered the tires and serviced my Jeep the next day. I wanted them to do an oil change and inspect the car to get it ready for the change in weather. I ended up having to get new front breaks but everything else was fine. :). The Jeep is definitely riding smoother. I feel safer now that the team at Rad Air did a bumper to bumper inspection. My family has been coming to the Garfield Rad Air for almost 10 years. I brought my Mazda in for an oil change and tire rotation and mentioned I had a coupon upon arrival. I also specifically mentioned that I would like to run synthetic blend oil, as this what I have always run in this car even at the Mazda dealership with no issues. The guy at the front desk wrote everything down and said theyll call me once it was ready.When I returned to pick my vehicle up, the price was about $20 higher than I was expecting. I asked if this was the price after the coupon was applied, and I was told that it was. After I paid for everything, I was told that I would get a receipt via email. So I left the shop and checked the itemized receipt and noticed that the coupon price was nowhere to be found. I immediately called Rad Air and inquired why the price was so high. I mentioned to Eric that the price shouldve been $39.99 for synthetic blend oil and was told that the bill was higher because they ran full synthetic oil for the oil change. I then asked why they ran full synthetic when I specifically asked for synthetic blend. The only answer I was given was that the car calls for full synthetic and that it will run better and last longer between oil changes.I then mentioned that Ive taken my vehicle to the Mazda dealership numerous times and have always run semi-synthetic and have never ever been told that it has to run full synthetic oil. And I politely reiterated that I asked for synthetic blend when I dropped the car off and that no one called to inform me that they would be upgrading it to full synthetic. Eric again tried to state that its better for the car, etc. I then politely stated again that I understand that, but its not what I asked for. He then finally apologized and said I dont know what happened, but its in there now. Unbelievable. There was no willingness to compensate me in any manner on a screw-up on their part. Poor customer service and dishonest business practices.

I was in a bind and RAD AIR came through. Flat tire, stripped lug nuts and needed fixed ASAP. RAD AIR towed my car, replaced my tire and got me back on the road ALL in the SAME DAY. I just stopped in to get a quote on repairing the AC lines going to the rear AC unit in my van. They quoted me $800. I find that surprising since my mechanic is willing to replace those lines with new ones from the dealer, for $800. Why would repairing the existing lines cost the same as replacing them with new lines? Seems to me that that is just a little bit of price fixing right there.

Did a great job on an oil change and vehicle inspection. Plan on taking the car back to get a brake job.

Rad Air in Garfield Hts is one of the greatest car shops I have ever been to and I am not exaggerating. The owner, Eric always takes care of me and I have even started bringing my family members. He always gives me accurate information and as a female its hard to get mechanics to be honest with us because most of us know so little about cars. Rad Air on the other hand educates me on the problem not just tells me whats wrong and how much its gonna cost. They also let me know how to avoid it from happening again. The prices are reasonable and parts are guaranteed. What else can you ask for from a car shop. Oh did I mention they offer loaner vehicles for you to get back and forth to work :-)

I was very disappointed when I received my Honda crv that to my surprise that they had used epoxy glue on my plugs for my misfiring in cole pack 1 and 3! Instead of informing me of this... RadAir took it upon themselves to think that was OK TO DO! WHICH IT WAS NOT! AT ALL... I know I will NEVER take my vehicle to them again!!
