Well, I will be honest,this is a good store and all but its expensive. I bought some pants for $40 when I couldve bought them for $15 at another store. You guys should add more band tees from other bands. I think you guys should restock demonias or more alternative stiff in store than online :)

Literally the worst customer service ever. The two ladies working didnt acknowledge me as I walked in despite being right in front of them, and were far more interested in their conversation than helping me. It is really bad form to trash your customers within earshot of other customers, just saying. Had a question about stock, they were useless and made no effort to help - called the Town East store immediately after and got an informed answer though. I know where Ill be shopping in future.

This is the Hot Topic I frequent the most and every time I’ve gone, the employees have been friendly, letting me know what the deals are for the day. Today I was about to walk in, a few minutes before closing, and I couldn’t even step in. The employee at the register came at me and said, “What are you doing? Do you know what you’re shopping for?” She didn’t even let me walk into the store and I found that really disrespectful. I work in retail and I know that sometimes when customers come in last minute it can get annoying but I’ve never denied a customer to come in to my store. They have the right to come in and see our product and buy something if they would like. I was not okay with this experience and it might be a while until I shop here again.

Today on 11/15/20 me and my friends were having a good time at the fire wheel mall. We wanted to go into hot topic to look at their hair dye and earring selection. We stood in line just like everyone else to enter the store. Three of us were going to go in, but we were figuring out who needed to most. The lady opening the door with short pink hair, came out and before we could explain why there were more then 3 of us she started to cuss us out. She was screaming in our faces and yelling very rude profanity. When we entered the store she watched us and made continuous dirty looks at us. We then went to go check out and while having a conversation she budded in and started to cuss at us and tell us we had no personality. The rest of the workers just watched and didn’t intervene. After, we were all very shaken up and upset. One of us went home crying, because it had put a terrible mood in our whole day. We tried to call and complain, but then she answered the phone and hung up on us after we spoke one word. By the time we could call corporate they were closed.

The guy working there today is extra rude and not helpful at all hope you guys watch him because yall just lost a customer and got this review because of him

This Hot Topic is typically better organized that a lot of the other ones out there. Some Hot Topic stores look like they are having a fire sale and items are haphazardly thrown around the store. The employees at this location are great too.

I have shopped several Hot Topic locations and I have never seen the employees dress up in store !!! The store manager Nicole was super helpful and fun!! The associate with the purple Hair Melissa was also extremely sweet and energetic which made the shopping experience even better. Great job guys keep up the awesome customer service!!!

A little cramped but over all a good place to shop. I was able to get 4 shirts and 3 2 packs of rist bands for 60 bucks. VERY SATISFIED

I am always greeted by a sales person who asks if I need any help. If I do, they try to suggest items that might be appropriate for me to purchase as gifts for young people. If I dont need help, they dont follow me around the store. Most of the items are good quality. I had to return one item because of a broken zipper. No problem! Great place to get gifts for a teen/20 something.

Always hit the discounts rack and get a whole top and bottom, this time an outfit cost me 22 bucks. Love Hot Topic, always a go to store to keep ya young. Lol !!!!!!

I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. I bought a shirt for a friend that was having surgery. First off, the girl who was working at the time I went in there a couple day before St. Patty’s Day, named NICOLE WITH DIRTY LOOKING TATTOOS was extremely rude to me. Didn’t greet me when I walked in store (which is fine, I never take that personal but considering how RUDE she was added on to this) I smiled and said hello and she completely ignored me. So I went in there to return the shirt. It literally stayed in my back seat from the day I bought till the day I returned it. My friend never even saw the shirt he just told me he didn’t want it in conversation. Turns out he had a several shirts similar to the one I bought him. So the rude NICOLE girl gave me the ugliest look when she saw the shirt and said “this is digusting.” She then informed me it had deodorant marks all over the shirt. I told her that must have been from someone trying it on before I purchased it. And she was saying little stuff under her breath giving me the hardest time. I felt so angry and humiliated. We went back and forth yelling at each other in the store. She ended up taking the shirt back but made sure I heard her say “this is going in the DAMAGES” as she was writing down the info on the shirt. You don’t treat a customer this way by any means. If the shirt was so disgusting I should have gotten a discount when buying the shirt, but they they do that??? No. I had no idea there were marks on there from someone’s deodorant. I didn’t even think to check it because it just didn’t cross my mind. Either way it’s not like it was a stain that couldn’t be removed. I should not have been treated this way and for this experience I WILL NOT be back at this Hot Topic or any other one. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I enjoy shopping at this location. The employees do their job telling you about the sales and promotions that are going on, but dont hound you about it, and then give you space to enjoy your shopping while occasionally checking to see if youre doing okay, or striking up conversation about mutual interests.

Staff is friendly, my daughter found several things she liked. This store is bigger than the one in Town East mall.

The store has some great merch - especially tshirts and hoodies, but it is so freaking small and there is so much stuff crammed in there. It is really hard to look around at stuff. I try and order online to avoid going to the store. The staff are usually really nice if you need help.

I dont know if its all hot topics or just this one but every time I go there or call asking about an item they have no idea what Im talking about until they sell out of it. They dont follow thier store hours online or to the mall hours and they keep products in the back for their own employees so no customers can purchase it. VERY unprofessional!

Geez where do i start? Today i went in with a few friends and we where playing around with the anime merch but thats when i noticed that an employee with two different colors of hair on each side and a black dress kept following me around its a small store so i didnt pay much attention that was untill i noticed that she wasnt jusy following my group around no she was after me. She must have thought i was going to shop lift but i never even touched my purse through out the entire experience and to make matters worse my friend wasnt paying attention and put a small plush that she was going to purchase in her world market bag of course she noticed right after and took it out but another employee that was following her around said are you shoplifting?! We soon payed and left the store as we planned to the entire time. Not returning again if they assume that im going to shoplift because im young. Keep your edgy stuff to your self
