I found my dress at Crystal Bride with the help and encouragement of the wonderful Irene! She brought 3 options based off the styles I pinned on Pinterest, had a specific order to help me decide and ultimately found one of the exact dresses from my Pinterest in store (which is the dress I went home with too!). I HATE trying on clothes and was so stressed about how the day would go but Irene made me feel beautiful and allowed me to take the time I needed to feel good about the decision.After purchasing my dress, I also got it altered by Amparo who was equally wonderful to work with. She made me feel good in my skin even when I didnt hit my ideal weight goal before wedding time.I loved every moment if my experience as a Crystal Bride and would recommend this experience for any bride-to-be!

I love the crystal bride! It’s a one stop shop for all your wedding gown needs. I loved coming here over the past three years (yes, three). I wanted to prank my family with the black dress and Kristin was so on board she video taped their reactions! We ordered bridesmaid dresses through the crystal bride and I had the same consultant help me with the girls dresses which was helpful because she knew which dress I picked. It was soo much fun I wish I could do it again lol. Because of covid we eloped last year - I even had the opportunity to go dress shopping twice for two different dresses! We postponed our big wedding to this year and the staff was so understanding with canceling alteration appointments and rescheduling this year. You don’t have to do alterations through them but I loved going there I actually wanted to! And they’ll keep your accessories there so you don’t have to worry about lugging shoes/ veil every appointment. (Thanks Mila!)

I had so much fun shopping at the Crystal Bride! I worked one-on-one with Irene and though I did not bring any family or friends along, I never felt alone. Irene was efficient, respectful, knowledgable and kind. She helped me find the most perfect dress in less than an hour. (I wasnt in a hurry; we just worked that well together!) The reason I did not give my experience five starts was the payment issue. The store was having an issue with their credit card machine so I was charged twice for my dress, and it took a while to resolve. (My credit company got involved and actually took responsibility for reimbursing me for the extra charge.) Anyway, Id recommend working with Irene! She nailed all of the accessories to really help me see the vision for my big day more clearly.

I wanted to give a HUGE Thank you to Crystal Bride! I came into this morning dressed like a hobo before my hair and make-up appointment for a wedding I have this evening. I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful my experience was. First off, I booked my appointment several months in advance. I got a confirmation call and text from my consultant. Kristin was absolutely PHENOMENAL. She answered my questions via text (almost certainly after hours) and she was so attentive before I even set foot in the store. On the day of my appointment I was warmly greeted by everyone who was there and Kristin happened to be the person who checked me in. She listened to me, she pulled the dresses I included in my registration form and she encouraged my entourage to pull dresses for me too. As we started honing in on the style I liked the best she was only pulling dresses that made sense. She was so personable, encouraging, fun, lighthearted, and meshed so well with our vibe. When I put on “the one” even her demeanor changed. She knew it was my dress and she didn’t once sound salesy or pushy which added a whole layer of comfort in knowing it was my decision. She never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured at all. I knew this was my dress, so did everyone there. It was just the greatest experience and I couldn’t be more thankful to Kristin for everything she did! Cannot wait to go pick it up!

I am not even sure where to start. From the moment you book your reservation to the moment you walk into the store, you are treated like you are the ONLY client in the building. They follow up via text before your appointment asking you what you are looking for, what your reception might be like, and generally getting to know your style vibe. And when you walk in, 4 staff people are excited to see you and are already making you feel seen and cared for! We were laughing and having fun immediately!The space is cozy but there is a lot of dress selection and a lot of hands on site to help you and your stylist which I appreciated.McKenna already had plenty of dresses pulled for me to try on and many of them fit like a glove, which can be rare when searching for wedding dresses. She listened and guided us in great ways but I never felt I was being pressured or not listened to. The manager Rebecca even got into the mix and was helping us decide and luckily, I said “yes” to an amazing dress on my second time trying on wedding dresses ever in my life!I loved this store, this experience and McKenna’s attention to detail and care. 10/10 would recommend! The Crystal Bride put my dress shopping experience over the top. (As it is already such an exciting experience) they truly made it better than I could have imagined. Irene really grasped my image of the dress of my dreams and gave me some great options and I definitely had a hard time choosing between but eventually said yes to a dress! Walked in excited as I’ve been eyeing this shop for months. I was in search for accessories for my wedding dress. Upon walking in no one greeted myself or the person I was with. Other ladies filed in and were greeted and spoken to, as well as asked how they could be helped. Finally Fiona came over and asked how she could help us after 10 minutes and several other women walking in and being spoken to. Fiona did her best to help by directing us to combs, veils, and more upstairs. She then wrote up a sheet w/ the information of what I liked. She introduced us to the owner and this woman wouldn’t even look at us. It was insane. Finally on our way out the owner said she liked my friends braid. Heck of a way to treat a customer. Will NOT be returning.

On a cold and crisp October day in 2019 my daughter Julie and I on a whim decided ti check out The Crystal Bride in Geneva. We had been grocery shopping and we werent exactly dressed up to go look at beautiful dresses. We were driving through Geneva and drove by The Crystal Bride and Julie said, oh I have heard of them!. I said, lets park and go in. She had yet to start shopping for a dress for her spring 2020 wedding. It was the first bridal shop we had ever been in. Walking into the quaint shop was an absolute, wonderful surprise. We were greeted by several pretty young women who graciously offered to help us. Julie kept telling the girls that she had absolutely NO ideal what she wanted in a wedding dress. Away we went up the staircase to take a preview of the many beautiful wedding dresses that they had there. We were able to make an appointment for one week later, knowing that the young ladies would be able to help Julie find a wedding dress that she would love. Exactly a week later, her bridal consultant at the shoppe was able to help Julie find the perfect dress that truly captured the sparkle she was looking to find. As you can see by the attached photos, the dress did indeed sparkle on my daughter and mom found a dress sparkled that too! The owner, Nancy, and her staff were so very patient with the remainder of the process, allowing the bridesmaids to come in at different times and even allowing a couple of them to bring their young ones in tow. The wedding had to be postponed twice, but my daughter was finally able to have a magical winter wedding on Dec 26th., despite being in the middle of a pandemic; sending out invites, un-invites and re-invites. From this experience, there is no doubt in my mind that The Crystal Bride is the best bridal shoppe the Chicago suburban area and that Nancy and her entire staff above and beyond what we ever could have imagined. I’m not one to usually give reviews but I had Kristin help me find my beautiful dress and she was amazing! This was the first place I went to try on dresses and I was so nervous I wasn’t going to like anything or know where to start. She got inspiration from pictures I sent her the day before, but ultimately was just so good at picking out things she thought I’d like on her own. She was able to pick up on cues of what I liked and didn’t like without me even saying, and she was so personable and friendly. She even went out of her way to bring up a fur (I’m having a winter wedding) and brought up a bridesmaid dress in my color to make sure the shade of my dress looked good next to the bridesmaids. I loved working with the staff at Crystal Bride. My wedding was out of state and it was rescheduled due to COVID. They worked with me to schedule the fittings as I was living out of state as well. My bridal party were all from out of town and crystal Bride accommodated them so they could all drive together for their appointments. They also stored all our dresses and shoes together until we could come get them all and transport them to the out of state wedding venue. The seamstress I had was amazing! Crystal Bride is an absolutely PHENOMENAL bridal salon! This was my second appointment and I could not be more pleased with my experience! I had the pleasure of working with Kristen and she was the greatest! From her text to me the day before my appointment to get an idea about me, my fiancé, our venue and my vision to the entire appointment she was what every girl dreams of in a bridal consultant! I walked in very open-minded - my first appointment did not lead me in a direction where I was able to narrow down my vision - and from the first dress she was able to help me find what was right for me, my body, and my vision for the wedding. I went in thinking I wanted a-line, simple, no sparkle, and strapless. After trying on the first a-line dress I realized that is not at all what is right for me and we went in a completely different direction: fit and flare. Several dresses later, I asked Kristen, on a hunch, if Crystal Bride had a dress I fell in love with on an Instagram story from a different salon a couple weeks prior. To my surprise, she rounded the corner and appeared with the exact dress! And that dress turned out to be the dress of my dreams and the dress I said yes to! This boutique was recommended by a couple of my friends who said their experience was great! So, to be honest, this was the 2nd place I went to, only because it was a little farther away. But it also gave me an option of comparison. So, this place was amazing the minute I walked in. The staff were all SO friendly and all willingly to help. The whole experience was just so…fun and pretty much what I was hoping for! There were enough mirrors to see everything and the lighting was great. The atmosphere there was so nice and you feel special. Like a bride. No one was rushing me, if I didn’t like something, I felt comfortable enough to say so. My girl, who was helping me, Kristen, A-mazing! She had a great attitude, was funny, friendly and put absolutely no pressure on me once-so ever. She took the time to talk to me, ask me questions about what I like, what I was looking for and just did a phenomenal job. She interacted with my small “entourage” group lol! She did absolutely, great. I told her, she’s gotta love her job (she totally does, she admitted), I said yeah! Making dreams come true on the daily!! Update!!! My final tailored wedding dress was perfect!!! The dress fit like a glove, which is how it was designed to fit! My veil was stunning and the added belt was the perfect extra touch. I am so pleased with my experience purchasing, tailoring, and WEARING my wedding dress.What a great experience! We had Irene and she was lovely. Very honest and kind. She knew the right advice to make sure i found the perfect dress! My cousin bought her dress here and i though it was the most perfect dress for her. I think it speaks volumes to this boutique that although my cousins and I dress are different they are perfect for each of us! Cant wait for our big day!

She really listened to what I liked and was very knowledgeable of the dresses that the Crystal Bride carried. I recently bought my wedding dress at the Crystal Bride and I am so in love! The first time I went I originally worked with Irene, and she was extremely helpful, so kind, and made me so comfortable - we had so much fun!! She pulled all of my dress ideas before I even got there and I ended up loving the first dress I tried on!Even when I returned, every single person who worked there treated me with the same respect and kindness as the first time and I would not want to get my wedding dress anywhere else!

Kristin was so awesome. Listened to me and even got me a nutrigrain bar when my blood sugar dropped 😆 ... she had just spent a lot of time with other people but she acted like I was the first of her day. She was enthusiastic as were the other employees around the store. I knew when her and I started looking at dresses that was the place I’d find “the one” and we did! Love that place. Can’t wait to see my dress when it comes in in the fall.

I had the best time at Crystal Bride shopping for my wedding gown!!! I’m a super indecisive person and was actually super nervous about dress shopping, but Irene had pulled dresses that were perfect for me and as she got to know me and my style even more as I was trying them on, she pulled out more and more options for me to try. Every dress was absolutely stunning and exactly within my budget, and I was able to say yes to the dress on my first dress shopping appointment!!! The Crystal Bride is the only place to get a dress! They have the best selection, the best environment, and the best staff. My dress was the very first dress I tried on. Of course I thought it was too good to be true, so I went to a bunch of other salons, but nothing ever compared. The Crystal Bride will make you feel comfortable, theyll listen to your needs, and then exceed them. I had limited availability to pick my dress up and so did they, but they went above and beyond to fit me in. They werent able to fit me in for alterations unfortunately, but gave me an extensive list of other places I could go. Highly, highly recommended!

Kristin took the time to work with me until I found out exactly what I was looking for and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I had Rebecca as my consultant. She was absolutely wonderful. She texted me the day before my appointment and asked for ideas of what I was looking for. She had a variety of dresses pulled for me when I got to the store for my appointment. We saw two dresses on display that we loved and she had them in my room within 10minutes! She knew exactly what I was looking for and found my perfect dress for my wedding day! this was my first time ever trying on wedding dresses and she made it so simple and had fantastic options!

My daughter had chosen her wedding gown at Crystal Bride 4 years ago and had a marvelous experience. Now it’s my turn and I had a few ideas of what I didn’t want in a wedding gown, but didn’t really know what I did want. Mckenna skillfully guided me in determining what I did want. I wish I could give Crystal Bride 10 stars.. their entire staff is just so amazing! I said yes to the dress back in 2019 and told my mom I wanted to invite Kristin to the wedding after our experience, ha! She is awesome! Due to COVID we had to postpone our wedding and I was unable to have my dress tailored by Crystal Bride as I lived out of town. They were so accommodating and mailed my dress (with tracking and insurance) to where I currently live. After trying on my dress at my local tailors for the last time before the wedding, I noticed they had placed the incorrect belt. My local tailor unfortunately lost the beautiful belt I purchased from Crystal Bride. However, Rebecca at Crystal Bride came to the rescue and overnighted the same belt to my tailor in the last hour. They are just so amazing! Thank you, Crystal Bride!

A few weeks ago I made a appointment to see wedding dresses, I thought I would enjoy my time here since I read the reviews, unfortunately the person who helped me wasnt the best at suggesting me anything, she didnt help me bring my dress out, didnt measure me to give me a size for my dress, and seemed like she was in a rush for us to get out, then she still had the audacity to give me her card incase I liked any of their dresses.

Went for my sister-in-law. Very helpful staff and nice spot.

Kristin was beyond amazing! I had the best experience with her. With a very short engagement, I didn’t have high hopes of finding a dress, but her positive attitude and energy was truly the thing that I needed. I found the most beautiful and perfect dress. After saying “yes to the dress” the staff and owner of Crystal Bride could not have been more excited or happy for me. They made me feel comfortable and listened to what I wanted and helped me find exactly that. From the moment I walked in the door, Kristin was attentive and welcoming. I worked with Rebecca to find my dream dress. She was AMAZING! Obviously finding a wedding dress brings about a lot of emotions, but Rebecca made it clear this was about what I felt most comfortable and beautiful in. She asked insightful questions about what I liked and disliked about dresses which allowed her to make recommendations of other dresses that I may like. My only complaint is that I won’t need to shop for another wedding dress again, and therefore can’t work with this wonderful team again! I would 1000% come back to Rebecca and The Crystal Bride. Irene was fantastic! Before my appointment she reached out to me to get an idea of what my wedding style was going to be like and if I had any ideas on what type of dress I’d like. I shared with her my Pinterest board and her picks were spot on. I ended up going with the 2nd dress I tried on. I was scared it was going to be overwhelming but she made it so easy! I cannot recommend this place enough! I went to about 5 other bridal shops before going to Crystal Bride and found my dream dress here. They were very accommodating and encouraged my family/friends and I to look through the dresses ourselves which was refreshing from other salons. When I found my dream dress, I wanted the high neck to be a V-neck and Laura, the seamstress, made all my dreams come true. She was more thorough with the dress’s appearance than even I was and wanted to make sure it fit like a glove. From the moment I walked in, to the very end of the process, I knew my bridal look was in good hands!

The Crystal Bride was amazing from start to finish. As soon as I put my dress on, everyone with me, cried, and I knew it was the one. I am an out-of-state bride and they were so accommodating with appointments fittings, often fitting me, my mom and MOH in around the same times. Everyone is so kind and make you feel like you’ve known them forever. At the altar, my now husband told me I looked perfect. Thank you Crystal Bride for making me feel like a princess that day.

I was helped by the owner in finding a wedding dress. I found one but it had off the shoulder straps which I did not want, but she assured me that could be fixed and made as a regular straps to support my large chest. Another issue was the cups did not fit and she had said I have to order another size up in the dress for the cups to cover.I did as she said and when I came back for a fitting was very disappointed.The woman who does alterations said there is no way to make the off the shoulder straps any differently (even though the picture for the dress online showed them in 2 different styles). I had to leave them as off the shoulder even thought I couldn’t raise my hands very high. Another issue was that there was no point in ordering a larger size dress as the cups still did not cover my chest and the woman doing alterations asked me - who told me I should order a larger dress and when I told her it was the owner she stated that the owner wouldn’t know because she doesn’t do alterations. So she’s unsure why she told me this information.In the end I had a baggy dress - even with alterations my tummy and behind were baggy. I honestly felt like I was bothering the staff anytime I brought up an issue where in the end I just took what I was given.

If I am being completely honest, I was absolutely DREADING going dress shopping for my wedding. As a plus size bride, I was consistently told that the experience would be a miserable one - no options to try in my size, limited selections, etc. I was so certain that I wouldnt have any luck shopping that I scheduled four appointments for this weekend (while my Mom was in town to attend with me.)I am thrilled to say that not only did I find the dress of my dreams at my very first appointment, but it was only the fourth dress I tried on (three of which were samples that fit me perfectly, without bungee ties, chords, or clips!)Kayla was my consultant and I liked her from the very moment she greeted me. She was kind, welcoming, understanding, and truly listened to all of my feedback and requests.I genuinely enjoyed my experience at The Crystal Bride and I am so thankful to them for helping me find the dress of my dreams.Amazing service, outstanding selection (in ALL sizes), and wonderful consultants. Ask to work with Kayla and you will not regret it!

I made an appointment at this boutique because a couple people I knew had a good experience here. I felt I received a much lower level of service than these people and the people I observed while at the store. Im not sure if it was because my budget was on the lower end, but I just felt that my consultant was very uninterested in working with me. She wasnt engaging very much, I felt like I couldnt ask questions, she didnt compliment me at all or tell me anything looked nice on me.. she just wasnt enthused at all and the people I was with noticed it as well. One of the high neck dresses I had on made my skin very red, and all she said was looks like you have sensitive skin. I tried on a similar style at another boutique and the consultant offered a solution for it and was MUCH nicer and seemed like she actually loved her job. She offered other options too such as petticoats, etc that I didnt even know were a thing because Ive never gone dress shopping before. Had I known about these things and had a better experience at The Crystal Bride, I may have purchased my dress there because I did end up spending WAY more than I wanted to at another store just because the experience was so good.My advice to brides is if you go here you may want to get a recommendation for the consultant and definitely look at other stores first if your budget is under $1300. Also, you have to walk from your dressing room to the mirror/seating area, and it can be a little awkward when there are brides there with a ton of other people. This is not the place for you if you want a little more of an intimate experience.

This was the second shop I went to find my wedding dress! The first place I went to felt like I was really being heard about what I wanted. This shop specifically Irene(who was my coordinator) was amazing. She helped me narrow down my silhouette. I felt like she knew what she was talking about and really listened to my needs. I eventually found my dress and I really wanted to just stay their. They have so many beautiful dresses to see. It was hard to figure out which one I wanted, but they reminded me that the dresses are beautiful, but this dress should be about me. :) I cant wait for my dress to finally come in and do the first fitting.

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about the Crystal Bride. I purchased my Jasmine Bridal Gown, as well as received my alterations here. It was the most STUNNING dress I have ever seen! They have a vast selection of dresses from various designers, and you are destined to find your perfect dress here. I loved coming into the Crystal Bride for all of my fittings as the staff was always so friendly and welcoming. I truly will miss coming here and am so thankful for the Crystal Bride for helping make me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. THANK YOU!!!!

TLDR: They have you do A LOT to prepare for your appointment. They text you prior to your appointment to get to know you. Then you fill out paperwork and select your fav dress types, explain why you like certain details of dresses, pick out designers that have your style, paste links to dresses from their website, and share your wedding Pinterest board. They have you share ALLLL your style information and then don’t use ANY of that information during that appointment.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -I had super high hopes for The Crystal Bride. I was extremely excited to try on wedding dresses here because of the designers they carried. But I was let down. Like, waaay down.TCB has you fill out a ton of “pre-appointment” paperwork which I thought was great. They asked about styles you liked, designers you had your eye on, links to dresses on their website, and they even asked for you Pinterest board to look at dresses you’ve pinned. I took this as a great sign that they took this seriously and wanted to find your perfect dress.When I arrived at my appointment I was asked to fill out more paperwork with all my information and wait about 15-20 minutes.Once my appointment actually started my consultant was not prepared at all. She showed me a few dresses she pulled for me and they were NOTHING like anything mentioned in the pre-appointment information. I told her they were not my style and so I showed her some screenshots on my phone of dresses I liked. Of the 15 dresses she showed me I only liked 1. I showed her a few dresses that their website said they carried and she didn’t even bring those out for me to try.I called it quits on my appointment early and left disappointed. Would not recommend.
