This place is so awesome! The food is outstanding and the owners are the nicest people. You are doing yourself a huge disservice by not swinging by and grabbing a donut or hot breakfast sandwich. I 100% promise you will not be disappointed.

Just Got Breakfast sausage egg cheese croissant. Made fresh to order. Real eggs just amazing. And the Donuts were top notch. Highly recommend to stop here for your next breakfast sandwich or donuts.

Forget any donut place anywhere else on earth. These are hands down the best. Better than the $12 a piece ones you’ll find in downtown Chicago. The cinnamon twist is my favorite as is the vanilla glaze, but I wouldn’t turn down a chocolate cake either. It’s crazy how amazing the savory breakfast sandwiches are (served on their homemade flaky soft croissants). The sausage & egg wins at our house but they also make a delicious bacon cooked just right (nice and crunchy) and a ham and cheese. I love this place so much we had to share the love and bring them to our neighbors and family nearby and now they’re all hooked too! I’ll update later with some photos. They usually disappear too fast to even get a picture. The owners and employees (family run-biz) are the nicest. I’ve had only perfect experiences every time. They are consistent!

I have to said the donuts are good and they have my favorite its call Maple with bacon on top its so good very nice costumer service.

I absolutely LOVE coming here! Their donuts are so delicious. I love coming here in the morning before school, or on the weekends too. Everyone is super friendly and helpful there, its a great environment to walk into. I also greatly appreciate their dedication to making their restaurant a safe place during the COVID 19 pandemic. I know that when I go in there, they are making it a safe as possible with masks and hand sanitizer, so I can feel good about getting my donuts before I start distance learning.

The first time I came here and saw their apple fritters, I was like these look like the ones I remember when I lived in California. And they are as good as they look. Everytime I bring a box of them into work I get the ooooos and ahhhhhhs from people because they really like them. Someday Ill try something else!! But one cant go wrong with those apple fritters. Nice people as well and the store is kept up nicely. Nice job!

Simple, fresh donuts. Also, quick, friendly service. I got a pumpkin, apple cider, and banana donut - they threw in an extra blueberry for free! The croissant with bacon egg and cheese tasted real (not frozen/microwaved), and the prices are right. Ill stop here over the yellow arches next door any day.

Finally a good donut place!! I’ve been trying to find a locally owned donut shop that actually make their own donuts and not just ship in frozen like the other donut companies, not naming any names but very similar to funkin fonuts, this place has fresh donuts every day, hand made by some good folk, I suggest coming here to get some donuts than your other shop!

Weve been here twice now and have loved everything weve tried. Their breakfast sandwiches are so good and fresh as are the donuts and they always have a variety of flavors. They honestly are so fairly priced too, you really cant beat it for fresh donuts. Definitely becoming a regular place for my husband and I! We have especially loved the strawberry glazed, apple fritter, and strawberries and cream.

This place is the only donut place I actually enjoy. The couple who owns the store is really kind and decent. Their donuts are always fresh and delicious. But the real reason I go to this place is their croissant sandwich with bacon and egg. It is the best croissant sandwich I have ever eaten and even the egg they use is delicious. I assume they use good quality ingredients in all of their products.

The staff were super kind and very patient while I looked over their selection. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant, and it was made fresh while I was waiting. The yolk and the egg was even still runny, which, for me, is the best! Would definitely go again for a quick and inexpensive breakfast or donuty snack.

Great donuts. We especially like the maple frosted and blueberry donuts. I wish they would innovate a little with drizzles, like raspberry, caramel, or peanut butter, and other toppings as well as different batters like raspberry, apple cider, etc... we dont have a unique donut shop around here yet. Bacon is maple flavored, so I only get sausage if I order a sandwich.

I recommend getting the breakfast sandwich on a croissant, which have a perfectly flaky outside, with a soft, airy, and buttery inside. The eggs on the sandwich are delicious too. No eggsaggeration, their eggs taste more fresh and natural than any I buy at the store. The storefront is always neat and clean. The couple who own and work the place themselves, are always very friendly, and they had my order out much more quickly than expected.

Donuts are made that day, and are delicious. Theyre pretty cheap, too! Their coffee is above average, especially for a cup that costs only $1.30. The service is always great. Try the bacon, egg and cheese croissant with an extra egg. Be careful, though; they only make a certain amount of donuts for the day, so if you go on high-demand days, like the weekends or holidays, you probably wont be left with much choice by 11am, if there are any left at all.

Why would you go to any big chain donut place when THESE GUYS ARE HERE?? It’s a cute tiny little shop with very nice people and really good donuts! There’s just no comparison between biting into a warm, flaky donut from here and one from DD. Check it out!

Wife and I were searching for new sweet spots and came across fresh donuts. Came around closing time so we expected the donuts to be a little rigid/stale but when we bit into them, they were like a cloud. The name of the shop does not lie, very impressed. Great donuts! This doughnut location is not just a fresh donuts location it is also a fresh sandwich location too. I assume most of you know Dunkin’ Donuts are typically 12 to 24 hours old when you buy them in the morning. They make them in a warehouse somewhere in Chicago area and deliver them in the middle of the night or early evening the day prior for serving the next day morning. Tr donuts are hard to fine you can typically find them at a bakery or at this location there are only a few in the Chicago area that actually have them made hours or minutes before you walk in, this is one of those places. That tastes are top notch. The croissants Egg, bacon, sausage, sandwiches are the best the croissants or so soft 10 flaky they melt in your mouth. Do not miss an opportunity to stop here whether it is for breakfast or lunch or a late night snack, you won’t be disappointed.

Everything is made fresh, its excellent quality and incredibly priced. I bought 2 dozen doughnuts for $21! These are just as good as the high end gourmet style doughnuts in the city that are 3x as expensive! The breakfast sandwiches are amazing and made fresh. Really nice people as well.

All the classic donuts options done perfectly! The yeast donuts are unique with a thin crisp outer layer before this warm fluffy middle - Ive never experienced that other places. The owners are very friendly and their prices are much better than Dunkin or even local spots like Dimples Donuts. This is MY donut shop!

Highly recommend this place!They have a large selection of doughnuts, which all looked good. I got an old fashioned and truly enjoyed it.However, the real kicker here is a characteristic not normally mentioned in reviews. Spending a lot of the time on the road for work brings me to a ton of diners, coffee shops, & breakfast joints and most are pretty similar. When you are constantly drinking coffee, you are often required to use the facilities at restaurants and other public locations. This is almost always a dreadful experience as you are out of your element and even more so, using sub-par cleaning materials.NOT AT FRESH DONUTS!!! I commend this establishment for putting their customers first and providing 3-ply extra soft. The fact I was able to comfortably complete my business, feeling as clean & fresh as one would in the comfort of their own home, created an incredibly zen atmosphere for my doughnut consumption experience.If I could give 6 stars, I would. All places should take after Fresh Donuts.

Fresh Donuts is a wonderful addition to the area. I was told about them, by a customer at my place of employment and I have yet to be disappointed. The pastries ( Apple filled Bear Claws, Banana Cake Donuts, Chocolate Cake Donuts topped with toasted Coconut, Donuts filled with selected fillings at the time of order, Long John Twists that taste like Apple Fritters, Bacon topped Long John Twists, Donuts topped with Cookies and cereal, every kind of Glaze topped Donut, even Kolachkies!) She and her Husband make the flakiest, most tender most FRESH DONUTS I have ever had the pleasure and luck of having, in all my 40 years. I am not part owner or anything of the like, but I AM a trained cook. I pity the fools who line up like cattle at the McDonalds next door. Oh! I forgot to mention the simply AWESOME Breakfast Sandwiches the shop serves( fresh Croissants filled with bacon egg and cheese, or Sausage egg and cheese. Biscuit sandwiches as well )Coffee is very tasty and fresh. people, there are shops that serve similar products; however I am willing to bet you that you will be tickled any number of colors that you decided to give this excellent business a peek. Very good breakfast food

This place was not as fresh as I had hoped they would be. However in their defense I was there early afternoon very late morning. So, I imagine like everywhere else, by that time the donuts would have been slightly not as fresh as someplace that is doing the production Ive Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kremes and has the ability to pump out fresh donuts the entire time they are open

While the donuts here arent bad, they definitely dont deserve te five star rating everyones been giving them. If youre coming here for some really good donuts, expect to be disappointed. Aside from that, the donuts are fairly good but the strawberry frosting tasted like toothpaste.
