The bathrooms were amazing, they have regular doors for the stall and it felt very private and clean
Very busy Truck/Auto fuel station. Prices were reasonable. Easy off and on the highway.
Got stuck here cause of weather, VERY CLEAN... The cleanest truck stop I have ever been to. Day and night staff very friendly and eager to help anyway they can. Thank you very much. Will stop back by next time !!!
Awesome manager and late night staff. She was amazing. She gave me the most unbiased attention I have needed and it doesn’t compare to any other Pilot I have been to. Thank you Kelli, and thank you to your manager who showed so much patience for me.
Clean facilities, friendly service.
I spent a night at the flying J in my RV the other night. I wasnt to impressed with the store itself or the surroundings as it is in the middle of town. The one bright spot was the employees, they were all very cordial and helpful. Except one, her name was Diane, she went above and beyond anything Ive seen in a very long time to make me as comfortable as possible. Im not sure if she was the manger of the store or not, but if she wasnt she absolutely should be.THANK YOU VERY MUCH DIANE.
Store is in need of major renovations.Stopped to fill RV propane. Pump was in process of being inspected by state. Asked how long till done. I was told not long, but no one was certified to pump propane. I was talking to store manager mind you. The store manager wasnt even certified to pump propane!Manager referred us to Menards. Pulled in, employee came out without needing to go and get someone. Talking with him, FJ sends them customer all the time. Added bonus, Menards charges $2.09, not $3.39 per gallon for propane!
Always love Flying J! And it always feels like they love their customers. Employees are professional and seem genuinely interested in providing a good experience. Was able to overnight (only a couple spots left at 1130 pm arrival, no premium parking with reservation available at this location). Mel was cleaning showers, did a great job and was friendly. Mindy at counter was hilarious. Customers here are great too, a stranger scanned their reward card to give us free showers. We signed up right after (this particular offer seems to be for truckers only)Favorite gas station chain. Please dont change!
My husband got charged for the persons stuff in front of us. The lady that helped was very rude about fixing the error. It was a drama with her. No apology either. Just a salty attitude. Well just stick with maverik from now on.
Great staff, well supplied with good prices.
This location is rude unhelpful and overpriced.
Always hot coffee and clean womens bathroom and shower!
Great customer service! Two young men were running the show (wish I would have gotten their names) they had the best customer service I had received in quite sometime & the best customer service from young adults that I had ever gotten! I would have them training all new employees. I wish all young adults coming into the working world could see these two in action! Great job guys THANK YOU! I HOPE YOUR WORK IS NOTICED BY THE ONES WHO CAN EFFECT YOUR FUTURES!
Excellent customer service from Jim! They didnt have what we needed & he told me where I could go instead. He even gave me tips on where some yummy food could be found.
I would totally give this store zero stars but I can’t. I went into the store and they didn’t have any food available. Not even a darn hot dog. On top of that snow is everywhere and there are no other restaurants open. I’ve never been to a Flying J that didn’t have food available and now I have to drive 3 hours until the next stop just to get food. Thanks for nothing!!!
Clean shower, tasty iced coffee, plus truly pleasant and helpful staff
Not well ran and the clerks are rude and would rather be on their cellphones instead of helping their customers
They seem to have a problem BIG TIME PROBLEM of keeping showers open cause they cant seem to FIX their PLUMBING. Other than that the place was ok
We stopped for gas at the Flying J Travel Center. The store inside is very big. The Flying J Travel Center has everything that a traveler would need. Souvenirs, food, drinks, gas and great service. Enjoyed my experience at the Flying J Travel Center.
Very unknowledgeable cashiers. They knew nothing about a comchek or how to register one and had no blank comcheks. This is how my husband and I get paid and buy fuel and I’m very disgusted they weren’t able to help me today.
This truck stop looks from outside like Cassidys regroup center. Very outdated and old. No money for renovation. If you take a shower remember toilet in another room. Holes in asphalt everywhere. Nice thing is location.
I tend to find better deals on beverages like a beer after work or a redbull once in awhile. The bisquits and gravy are really good too. Kinda funny to say that about a gas station.
Old school pilot. Very small lot that needs some love. Showers are tiny. Good thing is its located next to alot of stuff.
Excellent service. Clean restrooms. Quiet. Pizza hut and taco bell in the lot. Pizza hut is take out only. Walking distance to Walgreens and not far from Super Walmart. The folks working here were awesome. Cigarettes are cheaper than most. Parking lot was pretty even and you can pull around front to get back to the fuel pumps.
Its a flying J. Bathrooms were in desperate need of cleaning. As truck drivers we have to do a better job to help the workers do their job. People were decent.
Visited twice as I came and went to Washington state..The store is clean and in very neat in appearance, staff was very friendly and restrooms where in top shape. The cons:The soda in the dispenser tasted nasty. If I was not traveling and in a hurry, I would have went back and got a refund.A week and a half later I came back and thought the machine would be better..It was not.I went to a fast food burger joint across the street and grabbed a soda and it was fine. They need to clean the machine.
Great truck stop. They have great staff working there. I am impressed. This is a good stop to get a quick bite or take a hot shower.
This J has the original Husky truck stop design. It shows its age and there isnt a restaurant anymore but they keep it clean and are friendly.
The location is very convenient as it is literally the last stop before going eastbound on the 2nd ave exit. Service from employees can be hit and miss at times. Some are amazing and helpful, others not so much.
Great place to fill up the vehicle and the belly!Jim is the best guy on the cash register.Tells funny jokes!
Very impressed with the cleanness of bathroom and showers. Very respectful and friendly cashiers gets people they the line quickly.
Price on deli food not too high. Choices are limited. But over all better. Stayed in the lot 3 days while doing repairs to my motorhome.
Actually 1 star is too much. We asked for a handicapped shower as I have a broken ankle. Other Flying Js have hand held shower wands and a nice shower chair. Not here. Couldnt even get a shower chair. Then no bars to grab ahold of and had a step instead of a walk in shower. Sorry but that doesnt meet the definition of handicap. No decent parking for semi and then roof was all damaged and glare ice everywhere. No lighting in parking lot either. Very unhappy with this Flying J. I hope corporate actually reads my review and updates this place. Very outdated.
Clean facility and does have good food. I will say that convenience of getting there from the interstate is nice for both semitrucks and smaller vehicles. The same cant be said for semitrucks leaving. Its a little more difficult.
The Management (Patrica) was fantastic when I broke down with my RV, so helpful!!!!!
Highly overpriced. Bathroom dirty. Workers were rude.Dirt parking lot. Lots of potholes. On,the bright side. There was alot of places to go in walking distance.
Great place to stop along the road and get some nice, fresh coffee. Nice store great prices on everything.
Great n friendly people and nothing is overpriced as everyone competes for business. When its busy you sumtimes have to wait but thats life n its not the staffs fault as they try there best and if truckers dont like waiting a extra 5 mins then maybe they shouldnt be trucking. Showers are ok as its a place to shower.
Kind of getting run down like most Flying Js but a nice place to stay the night, everything within walking distance.
They have the friendliest employees here! The showers are small and dated, but theyre clean and the water stays hot.
This is Paul and Im glad that I was at the flying j truck stop, because I had a problem with my air ride suspension and your employee Sara came to me and went out of her way to help me get rolling again?? Thank you so much for your help Sara
Much better than Pilot. Not as good as Loves.
Great food and good place to get in and out of especially with a trailer of any kind.
Would be 5 stars if the showers were bigger than a closet.
Was having difficulty to get fuel card to work. Fellow behind the counter was very courteous and polite. ALL worked out well
Full tank of gas, clean shower, monster energy drinks, Im ready to go! Helpful pleasant folks behind counter. Mahalo Gillett Flying J
Surprising clean for a large truck stop. Plenty of amenities at reasonable prices. Easy on/off access from I-90.
Best priced gas on this side of Gillette, but their red velvet coffee was too sweet even for my sweet tooth!
Showers were dirty.
No cat scale, dirty everywhere, parking lot lights went off and on all night long, no food except for frozen food over priced crap. Come on flying j pilot get real i wont be coming back here you lost another customer. If i could rate this place a negative number i would.
They should have been plowing the parking lot last night instead of starting at 2pm today..12..31..2018....millions and millions of big trucks stuck in the parking lot. .including the best looking dude on earth thats right ME........looks like the owner only reply to good comperments
The Gillette Flying J is tidy, efficient, and has an exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. My hometown Flying J, in Rock Springs, suffers in comparison.
I frequently use this gas station due to the fact that their pricing is very fair, and their staff is very enjoyable to deal with even if you are just making a quick pit stop. The bathrooms are clean and the prices are clearly marked, which is a huge deal in my book
Clean, Well staffed and had a few good ! Friendly smiling eyes behind masks worn !
Had fun, great food, great store, and great truck stop.
Clean, but it only has one working shower on my last two visits. Really needs a restaurant. Still great for fuel enough to get you to Billings or Rapid City or Cheyenne.
Clean showers, helpful staff, polite manager at fuel desk. Convenient parking.
Helpful staff, wide variety of products available. Clean restrooms. Good gas prices.
The store was in good shape and appeared to be very clean the parking lot on the other hand where the semis part look like a landfill
The showers were great! They were exceptionally clean and the water pressure was fabulous!
Only went in to shower. Only one shower in the womens and one in the mens restroom (I assume). Went in at 4am, and had to wait on them to clean the shower. I will say the shower had good pressure. But the actual shower was very small
Ok nice attendants ask for receipt for def I paid cash with and didnt look receipts for someone else shower good I got rewards card
Service was great. Not crowded. Lots of selection.
Being fast food it was pretty decent and pumps wasnt crowed which snow was on ground !!
One of the best truck stops Ive ever been in
Gas price was way better than any other gas station.
Excellent showers but RV hookups were out of order
Old school but clean, showers retro but clean. Staff, super friendly
Had to stay in Gillette,Wyoming for 2 days...the staff was friendly but the maintenance was poor..same coffee stain in entryway the entire stay..restroom was FUNKY...needed to be cleaned..visible dust in the fresh food area.
All in all it filled my needs and felt safe there.
I LIKED THECHAIN BETTER WITH THEIR OWN CAFE.
Not a bad stop. No restaurant but close to restaurants and shopping centers. The guy that takes care of the showers gets 10 stars.
The Walmart of fuel stations. Good roller dogs, coffee.
This is a place with no service at all. its been a couple time i stop here and the heather for the water never work and they only have one person at the register. And only one shower for couple team and its never clean or nobody to clean it .That is good service from flying j
One of the older Flying Js. Pumps are slow. Humongous pot holes in the lot. Only a deli but plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The building has been in dire need of remodeling or rebuilding for many years.
Went into this Flying J and the pumps are still under construction they have a lot of the big truck parking taken up with dropped trailers and broken down vehicles I went in and spoke to the manager he Shrugged my concerns off and suggested I go and Park in either the Walgreens or Walmart parking....walked away didnt give me the time of day and I definitely will not be back its a shame he doesnt realize that dropped trailers and broken down vehicles in big truck parking cost him two tanks worth of fuel tonight.I will NOT come back here again and your better off planning a stop at either Hardin MT or Rapid city SD if your on the I-90
Good fuel prices, but the updates need to continue. The truck entrance is not marked so trucks go into the car entrance etc.Why are the diesel fuel pumps on such a big angle? The truck parking is not very organized yet
One of the better Flying J locations.
Good prices on fuel. You also get a discount if you are a Good Sam member. Geting out can be a pain. The drivers in the area are not very courteous.
Older truck stop but everything else u need very close ie Wal-Mart and lots of different restaurants
Its like an old-time truck stop my kind of place.
Stop at this flying j every time I go back and forth from seeing my family, have cool little gifts and nice staff
Loved Wyoming! My husband grew up in Gilette and we went out for a visit. It was delightful!
This J advertised RV propane, dump and water fill. I arrived at 9am on 5/9/2018. I pulled up to the propane fill which includes water and dump. I pushed the service button. An attendant came out and sorry no propane tech on duty until 2pm ??????. Ok, Ill fill my water, well no a pipe is broke, well Ill dump then, well no its not open. RV services I dont think so!Went a quater mile down the street to Farmers co op and propane was 50cents a gallon cheaper than the J!!!!!! I would NEVER use a J for anything.
Gas to good taxed like they have the only stuff in the world...
Fine place. The bathrooms were a bit dirty when I visited.
Nice place. Decent staff.
Wonderful hookers. Good prices
Good location, there is an Albertsons, Wal-Mart, Super K, and restaurants like Sapporo Japanese Steakhouse at the Ramada Inn all within a 5-10 minute walk. Right behind the parking is a coffee shop/ liquor store/bar that opens at 6am. If you have seen on the road awhile you can appreciate that finding truck parking and all of these things in one place within walking distance. So it may be small BUT the staff was friendly and all together this for me will be a stop I will make again!!!
Needs better showers. Food in store needs help.
Good place to stop for a quick break from driving with quite a few restaurants in the near proximity.
Never again will I stop here! They broadcast to Comdata a low fuel rate of 2.34 on diesel screw you for 3.26 and nobody gives a sh*t or owes up to it..Just under a 120gal pumped screwed me out of over $100Filed ticket with comdata they were not impressed either, will update if anything changes...
Cheap gas... in more than one fashion. I normally get the same mpg with Regular gas when I paid for the premium gas. VERY watered down with ethanol. I have found most gas stations in that area have the same problem. Best to buy gas in South Dakota before passing through
