I just wanted to share my experience with Maryland Locksmith. I had called to get an estimate to change some locks for my company. When I called I spoke with Chris, and he was so helpful and responsive to our needs. He also suggested that in order to save me money that the locks can be re-keyed instead of changed. They dispatched Tim to my location, and he was so polite and professional. Not to mention that he did the job in record time. I was really impressed with their level of service, and will definitely use them again in the future.

I lost my key fob and my push to start Hyundai was stranded in the airport parking lot. Josh and the team at Maryland Locksmith were able to provide options on getting a new fob and program the fob to work with my car. Im very appreciative!!

I go here for all my keys now. Its a lot easier than making them at a kiosk and finding out they dont work when you get home. Decent prices, professional service.

It took 2 hours to get my car remote programmed, which was avoidable if one of their more technically strong guys had intervened in the process sooner. The long wait was made worse because no one bothered to let me know what was causing the delay and because the guy who was actually able to do the programming took his lunch break after I had already been waiting 1.5 hours. Ultimately, he did the job in 15 minutes. So, I was there 2 hours waiting for a 15 minute job. Regardless, I’m rating them a 3 for the expertise of a few and because I observed that others were very tenacious when helping other customers.

I had a great feeling about this company from others’ reviews and I was not disappointed! From my first informative conversation with the manager, I was totally impressed. Tim let me know when he was on his way. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. In addition to changing out our locks, he also took apart a screen door handle/lock to fix a sticking problem we had. All companies should be this great to deal with. Thank you Tim for your wonderful service!

Went there June 8 for them to repair my ignition cylinder. After about 20 minutes they called and said the problem was fixed. They said the cut a new key that fixed the issue and was charged $85. After I left it had the same issue. Was told to take it back on Monday June 14. They finally repaired the ignition cylinder and was charged another $125. And was not refunded my $85 for their failed attempt. While they are good, they will rip you off before getting the job done correctly.

Great experience with programming a keyless entry fob for my vehicle. SO much less expensive than the dealership and the staff were cheerful and professional. Helpful that they have open hours on a Saturday too!Will definitely be back. Thank you, Dave and Rick!

Very quick service, great prices and great quality. I had to replace a vehicle key, and 2 keys for locking pins. After trying all of them, I was 100% satisfied. I had an issue with the locking mechanism on one of my locking pins, and they helped me fix it. I highly recommend this company!

I had a 110+ year old lock in a cabinet I was refinishing. Not having the lock in the cabinet left a huge hole. It took over a month for them to get it, and each time we went in to check the progress everybody knew which lock we were asking about. I was so thankful they were willing to continue working on it, rather than saying there was nothing they could do.

Our company has hired Maryland Locksmith multiple times. They are responsive, skilled, and cost-effective. Yesterday I had to call for something that turned out to be a quick fix. Eddie arrived within 20 minutes (as promised), identified the problem, and said there would be NO CHARGE. He was personable and of course, helpful. Were grateful to have Maryland Locksmith as part of our network of support.

I called the shop with a general question about replacing a key. The sales representative was very straight forward with what they could do. I went to the store and they were able to repair my key. Best Service Ive received ever from any contractor! My front door finger latch stopped working. I called in and Tonya answered. I texted her pictures and she worked diligently to find me a replacement while working with the technician Rich on if repair was possible. I was expecting an thousand dollar or more replacement, but they were able to fix the old lock with not much more than the minimum service fee. Unbeatable service and saved me money. How often does that happen? - Not often that Ive experienced. I will use Maryland Locksmith for life and highly recommend them!

I didnt know they did key fob batteries and auto zone wouldnt help. They directed me over here and were so helpful. When at first they thought they didnt have the battery in stock I was going to try somewhere else, they opened the mail and the batteries had arrived. The employee ran outside to stop me and then still were able to completely ran ! care of it for me. So helpful. In and out in about 5 minutes. Thank you Josh for all your help! I will be back!

Had a Key-fob cut & programmed ($40 for 1 key) Since I had to go to the JEEP dealer to get the 4 digit skim code,It took a couple of trips before it got done. I was still more than happy with the professional service and reasonable fee for the service. Ill definitely come back in the future. I took 1 star off for having to make a special trip to the dealer after being sent away the day before and wasnt told to get the code before coming back

I called Maryland Locksmith before they opened this morning because I broke my key out of the shell and needed to replace my key ASAP. I was unable to start my car so Laurie rescued me, took me to the shop to get my key cut and replaced, and back to my car. I was so impressed by how kind the entire staff was and how quickly I was able to get a replacement key. I could tell they really care about their customers and could not have been happier with their service!

I recently bought a car that only came with one key fob, Maryland Locksmith was able to provide me with a lower cost alternative formy spare fob and provided an excellent customer experience.

I highly recommend Maryland Locksmith.I needed a car remote programmed. You wouldnt think it would be that hard, but dealerships wanted an exorbitant amount. Other locksmiths wouldnt even call me back or wouldnt give me a quote without me coming in or them coming to me (with an upfront fee and no guarantee that they could program the remote).In stark contrast, I had a helpful e-mail exchange with Maryland Locksmith, and when I came in to get the remote programmed, the staff were courteous and helpful. On top of that, the cost was extremely reasonable.

Called for our business Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs, called 10 others before we found Eddie from Maryland Locksmith, he was profession and honest and they use quality materials and explain each step of the job. I would never call any else for lock and key service.

Went to get a couple of keys programmed. It was 15 minutes before they closed and the guy wouldnt do it. Said it took 15 or 20 minutes to do. Heaven forbid he stay a couple of minutes past closing to help someone. Guess they dont need the money or care about customer satisfaction. Plus Im Army and was in uniform, not that he cared. Guess Ill take my business elsewhere and they can get my money.

I called this locksmith service on a Friday night after myself and my coworkers tried to unlock our trailer and the key snapped off into the padlock. We are musicians/travel for music to make a living so the trailer is essential to us for storing our equipment and making sure it gets to our destinations safely. When I called Maryland Locksmith, a woman answered and told us she was sending someone out right away. She told me to wait by my phone because she was going to call me right back. A half hour goes by and we hear nothing. So we call her back, she claims she is “getting her truck to come to us.” Almost two hours later there is still no sign of her, no phone call or anything. We collectively called her back 10 times, every time being sent straight to voicemail. She never showed up, never called, and essentially left us there to our own devices. We are not local to Maryland, and had a 4 hour drive home. Every other locksmith in the area was closed. Good thing we have a few handymen on our crew, who had to go to ridiculous lengths to get this trailer open due to this company’s lack of care and responsibility . All in all, if you like being abandoned in the rain, or empty promises, call this locksmith.

Came in with a lock needed as a example on a Thursday told will look into and call us back on Friday. No call called twice on Monday told both times will look into and call you back. NO CALL of course, called again on Tuesday told on back order asked why you cant call us back and told we dont have the phones onsite yet answered from site Friday,Monday & Tuesday. Service one step below poor .

Eddie Witles came to my business to simply attach a lockbox and dismantle the electronic lock. He was wonderfully efficient, clean, knowledgeable and polite. Good manners are so nice to see these days. Eddie was such a bright shiny smart and sweet person. Maryland Locksmith is blessed to have him!

Our key was stuck inside the lock and Eddy, a very professional and courteous technician, arrived 10 minutes early and was able to remove the key and tighten our door knob.There is a $100 service fee along with $90 labor. Based on the work done, my husband was not happy with the price and felt ripped off.Suggestion: call ahead and ask how much their service fee is. We have learned our lesson and if it is something you can do, it is not worth shelling out so much money on something that is not urgent.

Got a key made for our keyed alike RV. Worked on first try, no complaints.

I needed to rekey my locks and called them to schedule a day. They promised a call back the same day to schedule something but they never called. I wouldnt want to do business with a company who cant even call a person back. I also dont understand why the appointment couldnt be set at the time of my call.

They claim to have 24/7 emergency service but that is a complete lie. They don’t answer their phone during off hours and voicemail is full so they obviously do not care about customers or having a respected company. DO NOT USE THEM!!

They seem to always have the odd ball parts I need. If you need a part, they probably have it. Go check them out!

Fair pricing and fast service. The locksmith was polite and made several duplicate keys in under ten minutes including a car key. They seem sturdier than your typical Walmart Minutekey machine copy.

Well my sister had to get a key made with a chip set for a Nissan Altima 2000 paid $200 cash and the key worked the 1st 20 min then the guy left we made it to the gas station then filled up then the car didnt start anymore after that. Then we kept calling in, coming down to the store the guy wasnt ever in or duckin and dodgin and all we wanted was either another key made or our money back arw somwthing...hell we are even thinking about taking them to court thats u walked away with $200 off our money. so NO I dont recommend them at all.I would rate them ZERO but theres no option for that.Have a Bleased day
