I needed to upgrade my DDJ, I came in to the store and met this employee although his new and hes on training as I observed. He is more helpful, I also observed they some open box equipments although they are fairly used they are very good, you can buy those and safe some cash. Customers service are good 👍👌 they have standby guys to help and also they rent some equipment too. Good place ✔

The worst customer service I ever experience from an associate and manager. They were rude, made me feel uncomfortable. I purchased 2 items, both were less than $5 each and my total was over $16. I walked associate the the shelve of one of the items to show the correct price. We went back to check out and manager said whatever put wrong price on the other item. Now the total was over $12. I mentioned that it was the wrong price, at that moment the manager turned around and said are you really going to make him walk all the way over there? That is less than 10 feet and yes, an employee can walk that far to get the correct price.Comes back, now my total is over $13 as he changed the price of the first item we checked together. Once again I mention that the pricing is wrong so he goes take a picture and shows it to the manager and his response was, whatever is wrong! Just do it.Also no bag, no thank you, no have a good day what so ever!Corporate should make a visit.We are also in a pandemic, please have employees wear a mask.

No employees in the drum section, just to get drumsticks, it took a half hour. However, it wasnt anyone at the counters fault, they were busy, but one employee at the counter was great once he engaged me. Just wish I didnt have to wait to get a few pairs of drumsticks.

I love so much about this place. How it smells like a wood shop when you walk in and the sounds that envelop you when someone plays. My youngest son and I had a date one night. He was about 8 or 9 at the time. I brought him here. There was a jam session going on that he and I both fell in love with. He starts guitar classes this week. I stopped in to have the baby tuned and loved. Thanks Gregory for taking such good care of her.

The cashier was rude. He argued with me about a price that was displayed for the item. He tried to charge me more even when we walked to the shelf to see the sign. I requested a manager and he handled it.

I guess this a place for those who know what they are looking for already. My daughter was looking to purchase her first guitar. We looked for a bit. Then had to track someone down. It took a bit. He seemed to be in a rush. Not very helpful. Not a great first impression for us. The store wasnt busy at all. Maybe 3 other people in the store.

The guitar teacher did no show up. He was late for my son last lesson.

While I shop here I feel like they dont give a f. About me. Maybe its the long days but Im buying nice guitars in cash and its like Im buying a pack of strings. I will say Andrew seemed cool but they are almost too laid back and dont ask questions, they just listen and co-sign to what I say.

They did not have any case provided for the Gretsch Streamliner I purchased in April, and I think they may be suffering from a lack of accessories for other instruments as well, but not a bad music store.

Went to the Silver Spring location to buy an electric piano and found myself in the midst of a going out of business sale. So I went to the Glen Burnie location to pick one up, cash in hand. The electric pianos on display were not available and the ones that were actually available werent even on display. The poor employee had to tell me to order one online. Great business model Guitar Center! Pay rent for a building that people to go to where you pay a person to suggest purchasing online. I think I can guess which location is going out of business next. Ordered from Sweetwater for cheaper and free 2 day shipping. Definitely wont be back.

Still a noob after 23 years of owning a guitar. Walked in here a couple weeks ago to get new strings and a new attitude towards learning. Zach in Repairs is a treasure; also struck up a convo with another customer who gave me invaluable tidbits of advice. Plus, its filled with guitars, keyboards, and DJ equipment. What more could you ask for?

I love this place, I started taking lessons for guitar to help improve my skills (because I was self taught and my playing could have definitely used improvement), and I really started to get a close connection with my instructors, resulting me to play in the monthly recitals. I performed my own song that I wrote before taking lessons, and I was given a business card in opportunity to record a demo. Guitar center is amazing.

Me and my boyfriend have visited the glen burnie location several times this week. Everytime we have been there we have not been able to get any help with question or things we were looking to buy. They are understaffed and not knowledgeable about any of the equipment we were looking to buy. We had to take our business elsewhere to buy a $700 drum set. Alot of equipment is also out of stock.

There is no other music gear store in this area that’s better than Guitar Center 830. It’s extraordinary! Above and beyond customer service. Chris & Perry are the greatest managers on God’s green earth. The Pro Audio associates are the most amazing group of people ever!

Customers beware! Due to the state mandate they’re more knowledgeable on how you should wear your mask then answering questions. If your mask is wearing out from wearing it for 4 months, it’s going to move when you talk, and as soon as they see a nostril hair they rudely remind you to fix it or leave. Meanwhile, I’m looking for an effects combo device and all the employee kept asking was how much money do I want to spend instead of answering my questions. When you go in there, just be warned it’s nothing but juveniles sitting behind the counter staring at their phones.

Always helpful, yet they know when to back off and leave you alone as well. No high pressure, just friendly, laid back folks who are knowledgeable and helpful!

I spent $3000 in this store in the last month or so on guitars and effect pedals, effect processors etc...I visited this store at 2:30 today to get some help with missing samples in my pro tools first software. The young Technician seemed very knowledgeable and asked I bring my laptop to the store so he or someone else could assist in getting them back installed.So I drove home to get laptop and returned the to the store to get what I thought would be 5 minutes of help.( Driving time 1 hour)The shift change of personnel was done and I had my laptop and asked the same question for help. This new sales person (kid) told me They would not help me with my issue and told me the 1st guy does not know company policy.I cannot understand how one hour of difference brings two completely different customer service attitudes.These guys that are so lazy they will not even look to help a customer should not be there at all.B.

Frequently come by here for either guitar strings/picks/etc or audio adapters/equipment. I know only a little about guitars but much more about audio equipment, staff is always very helpful, they dont condescend or get funny when theyre helping me with basic guitar stuff, but are always knowledgeable and know what Im looking for when Im shopping for adapters or equipment. Highly recommend.

Selection in store is never phenomenal, but the staff are mostly friendly and they will help you get it delivered to your house if its not there. Aside from select music stores, GC is still the best if you want to come try something out.

Guitar Center at Glen Burnie has a very large selection of guitars, acoustic and electric. Their pedal selection is also unique with a smathering of different effect options for your electric instruments. Guitar Center although not identified in the name is about the only place you can get hands on with some novice to higher grade production interfaces and DJ equipment for electronic music. I had a good and smooth experience trading in my traveler guitar for some new gear. Everyone was helpful and worked to find exactly what I was looking for.

Great store nice selection, better than the new one in Laurel. Staff was really helpful. We couldn’t find the exact speaker we needed but definitely 5 stars.

Its the closest one without fighting traffic but disorganized and poorly laid out. I was in the sound proof cymbal room with my son doing what the room was meant for... Testing out the cymbals to find the sounds and prices we like best... we were asked to keep it down because of lessons in the room above WTF?

Helpful respectful staff. Went three times once to restring my floating bridge guitar and twice to get guitars. Fantastic selection of guitars too. Out of the guitar stores I have been to, this is by far the best.

Went in to buy some studio monitor cables and talked to one of the very helpful associates. He answered my questions to a tee, and even knew about the equipment I was going to be hooking up. Very impressive!
